  1. _____The chance to save a in game princess? How could Kaedé simply let such a chance pass her by? Frame slowly jogging up one of the main paths known to be guarded by the sea raiders. Sure she likely would have done so much better picking to sneak her way past them but the idea they chased after her later or blocked her escape route was to much to risk if she did end up finding the princess later. Stretching her arms over her head as she approached closer and stopped to see if anyone else might have the same idea as her to talk past the guards.

______She did not wait that long however as she turned and kept walking to where people had last seen the group of raiders, most looked rather annoyed or angry to be there by her book as she snuck a peek from behind some rocks. Sitting down behind her cover she began to skim her UI for something easier to have for this situation. Her weapon vanishing and her outfit changing to one of the many she kept in her inventory, the joys of virtual world. Kaedé also was happy to find some girls willing to make the outfits as she rose to admire wearing it for the first time.

_____Dawned atop her head was a pirate captain’s hat, a few singed holes along the rim for some added flare and a multi colored feather to make it more stylish for female wearers. Her top was a long sea coat, mostly red with some black streaks and a skull and crossbones to the back. However the front was left open to reveal a black half top that was a rather tight fit, Kaedé had forgot to mention she mostly kept her chest wrapped when the girl took her measurements but it worked out well for the task she wanted it for.

Moving down she only had black short shorts, her hand reaching to pull the string of her red panties out into view at her left side. To finish the look she had large knee high storm boots with red trims and some gold designed to flare the outfit’s last piece. A light spin as she got used to the weight change from her normal clothes before seeing if anyone else would be joining her along this route.

”I just hope I recall enough sailor slang and verbs from when I dated that Cuban pirate girl… Worse case my body does the talking.”

  2. This mountain really was too tall.

Too poor to afford anything like a carriage to bring him up the steep mountain path, Cain Darlite had taken to walking instead, which in turn meant spending a lot of time and energy navigating the sometimes treacherous slopes. It was a worthy adventure, of course, ascending a mountain in search of normally impassable routes, which were now guarded by sea-raiders of all people. Heck, there was a princess of Falderen involved in this mess, which only served to give even more prestige to the quest at hand.

But heroic tales of knights in shining armor delivering princesses in distress from the fangs of foul dragons never went out of their way to detail just how long the process of climbing up a mountain was, nor how flat-out exhausting it was. Even without having to carry much gear, Cain still found himself exhausted by the time the slope plateaued and the entrance, as well as their muscled guards, emerged in the distance. Sidling up against an outcropping of boulders, the muse broke out a flask of water, chugging down the lukewarm contents before letting out a sigh of relief. He needed time to regain composure and thankfully, the Aesir were interested solely in staying in one place rather than patrol. Good, he could do this then.

    What was his story though?

Peeking out from his own hiding spot, the Muse narrowed his eyes, before realizing that someone else had arrived before him. Ahead, a raven-haired woman switched from normal rogue-like clothing into the costume of a pirate queen, complete with a red motif and the skulls-and-crossbones symbol that had become so common amongst raiders of the sea. With boulders shielding her from view, she definitely looked like she was planning to march off and sweettalk her way through the guarded path as well, perhaps with a hearty dose of physical persuasion. Great! Someone Cain could tag along with!

Pivoting from his own little hiding spot, the Muse stood up to his full height as soon as his form was concealed by the shelter of the Duchess of the Red Seas, before waving at her. “Hail, Crimson Mistress of Poseidon’s Garden,” Cain spoke, “You seek to traverse through these perilous passages with deception alone, yes? Allow me, Cain Darlite, the Star-Swindling Prince, to aid you. Though the Aesir will no doubt let you pass without much trouble, it only makes sense for a bodacious Pirate Queen to be escorted through this harsh landscape by her henchmen, yes?”

  3. Kyupin wasn't sure how on earth she would manage this. She didn't like fighting people if she could avoid it, especially when she wasn't convinced of their crimes. Who was to say that these Aesir folks had been the reason behind the princess's disappearance? Maybe they'd been kind enough to let the expedition through and had not even a clue of the missing girl. But they were also sea-dwelling pirates staked out at the top of a mountain...

And with her doubts, she would've quite preferred just sneaking on past the group, but Kyupin was hardly a rogue of any sorts. Plus, with Vulcan's massive form, it was rather hard to sneak around.

As the sloping path started to plateau, Kyupin pushed aside her worried thoughts and lowered her body. Vulcan followed her lead, pressing himself against the dirt. It did little to hide their presence, but they'd not yet been noticed.

She could see two people nearby - one looking very much like a pirate queen, and another much taller man. Perhaps that woman's henchman?

She hadn't expected to face any of the Aesir so soon! And there must've been more of them behind those rocks, surely.

Kyupin looked to Vulcan, then back at the duo, gnawing at her lips with worry. The thought of the crying princess and her worried family was only just enough to force Kyupin's legs to move, carrying her towards @Cain Darlite and @Kaede Hoshi.

She slowed to a stop just slightly behind them, quietly clearing her throat.

"Are you the leader of the Aesir?" she asked, trying to come off as relaxed and friendly. Vulcan picked up on her unease though and watched them with raised hackles.

"Please let me through to the other side. I promise I won't bother you or your,"
she looked uncertainly at Cain, "crew members."

Kyupin squared her shoulders, swallowing down the nervous fear and preparing to leap away in case they reacted negatively.

  4. This was exciting. Climbing a mountain...a freaking mountain! She definitely never had the chance to do this in NYC, unless the skyscrapers counted. So this was a whole new adventure for her and Elysian couldn't wait. In fact she was climbing the mountain in a bit of a rush. She was late to this quest and just hoped it wasn't too late. When would she get the chance to potentially rescue a princess along with a whole expedition team? She didn't think it would happen again. At least not in this form. Plus she was confident she could actual be useful with this unlike the world boss before. She had planned to just sneak her way through, but maybe talking wasn't a bad idea? Perhaps the Aesir wasn't so bad...or maybe they were. She wouldn't know until she actually encountered them.

Up and up the Felis went, getting a bit winded but still managed to make it up in record time. The path hit a plateau and she was grateful. Now it was time to focus on the mission at hand. She noticed the sea-raider guards up ahead, and they didn't seem to notice her even with her bright ivory colored hair, ears, and tail. She knew she stood out with the sun so bright at this level, but she was still quick enough to avoid their gaze. She noticed a few people hiding behind some boulders nearby, and assuming they were here for the same thing she made her way over to them. She recognized the two girls, but not the man.

Overhearing what @Kyupin Felnya was saying, Elysian couldn't help but chuckle. @Kaede Hoshi had a very convincing, and hot, pirate outfit on. It was quite good, and she couldn't blame Kyupin for mistaking her as one of the Aesir. "Don't worry, she's not one of them...or have you been hiding something from me? I know you love the booty, but I had no idea!" She winked with a joking tone. "Though she is great with words and playing a role, so if we have any chance at getting past these guys then Kaede is our best bet." She felt that Kaede could talk her way through anything and she was glad to have her on their team. She nodded to @Cain Darlite, the only one she had never met. "I'm Elysian, so how are we going to do this?"

  5. _____Kaedé was just about to explain herself to the male when the cute girl she never got the chance to meet arrived with a large follower causing her to back up slightly. She had to thank Elysian for explaining things while she recollected herself still eyeing the large animal beside Kyupin. After some time Kaedé would smile and rush over to Elysian as quickly as she could to tackle the girl and hug her. As her usual with the girl she gave the girl’s tail a light tug before a soft kiss to her cheek and letting go to face the others with a devious grin across her face.

”Acting is a decent second nature to me. I assure you I’m no good at sea so I assure you leading this group is far from my style. To fill you all in I guess I’ll take point with the raiders, if you all want to say back a bit until I can decide if this might be too risky or not. Worse case I’ll keep them focused to one side while you all get past and I catch up later.”

_____Without further delay Kaedé would go back to checking her inventory and getting out her barrel of rum with a innocent smile. Every girl needed her rum after all as the oddly prepared girl kicked the barrel into view of the raiders and walked out doing her best to look out of breath and sore from ‘carrying’ the barrel all the way up and did a decent job of playing it off and getting the guards to focus on her.

”You all won’t happen to know where I can find some people to help me drink all of this would you? Some straight rum from overseas, never taste well drinking it without my crew. Sadly they all got over their tits in cocks back at the last dock leaving me alone looking for some real men who can handle this. So would that be ye lot, or are you a bunch of weak drinkers like every other I have met?”

_____In a quick motion Kaedé slammed her fist into the top of the barrel cracking it open and tossing the lid aside to let the raiders see the rum inside. Two quickly ran to get mugs out while a few seemed to be waiting and only one really looked to not trust the to good to be true offer. Kaedé simply smiled and eyed them down daring him to see if she was dangerous or was just being nice and wanted some company like she had said. With Kaedé it truly was a mystery, and for the others if they wanted to help or use her decoy to get past was up to them. Kaedé, was going to drink the rum since it never tasted the same after it got exposed to air for more than a hour.

  6. More adventurers (for there was no way any self-respecting pirate would have such a unique appearance) emerged to join the group, and one way or the other, a group was formed. Was there some sort of telepathic communication thingy going on? Or did everyone just have such great intuition in that they all agreed with the strategy of just…talking their way through this? As opposed to, say, putting that Faerin girl’s slavering dire wolf to use and scaring off the Aesir? Well, it worked out either way for Cain. Even if he had to do this alone, he’d have been doing it with words, after all. As the ‘Pirate Queen’ Kaede filled the others in on her ideas, the muse simply nodded along. It worked, after all, and surely no self-respecting pirate would pass up on a barrel of rum?

“Cain Darlite,” he said, a quick introduction before their main actress headed out, “I fancy myself a man of words as well. May Tyl overlook this necessary deception, yes?”

Remaining behind for a couple of seconds, Cain touched up his appearance slightly, partially unbuttoning his shirt while tousling his hair. A few strands stuck to his sweat-smeared face, but instead of tucking them away like he always did, he kept them where they were. What remained was the removal of his coat, the rolling up of his sleeves, and finally…

“Yarr,” the muse said, getting himself in character. A pirate up on a mountain really was a strange idea, what with mountain legs and sea legs being gained at massively different altitudes, but hey, if this was the weirdness they were going for, then he may as well play along. “Story’s that our beloved captain’s a mad alcoholic that’s already drank an entire town under the table, eh?” He winked at Elysian and Kyupin, before running off to follow Kaede. By the time she had brazenly issued her challenge towards the men, Cain arrived, panting and exhausted from having to run up a mountain. Straightening his back after catching his breath, the tall man wiped his brow, sneaking a gaze at the Aesir guards present. They were hard men, definitely, muscled, armed, and not nearly as taken in by Kaede’s shapely form as less-disciplined bandits would have been.

Still, his own entrance had grabbed the eye of the one who was most suspicious of this turn of events, and Cain swore. Rather violently. “Bloody hell, cap, wot sorta devil possessed you to run up this Elysid-forsaken mountain?” The man wheezed, before spitting to the side. “Nothin’ ‘ere but goats and goatfuckers, ye? Not gunna be any boy here who can match yer liver. This rum’s wasted on em mountainfolk.”

Oh, he could feel the animosity now, the hatred as that distrustful Aesir squared off against him, fury clouding judgment. One thick hand grabbed Cain by the collar, while thick-browed eyes narrowed. “What you say, ya little twink? Heard from yer captain that yer tits were also sandwiching some man’s d-”

Cain pressed a finger against his lips, interrupting despite the growing fury. “Shush, little man. You’re a little to pudgy for my tastes, and really, I’d rather be caught porking a pig than being associated with you. Bet you banditfolk can’t even chug a mug of this grog!”

“Hah? Ya a blind twit too? I’m Aesir, and so’s the rest of us. Got our sea legs while you were still suckling your daddy’s teats and finished our first barrel while you were still learning ta shit.”

“Aesir?” Cain laughed, placing a hand on the man’s wrist, gradually applying more and more pressure. “Coulda fooled me, squatting up in the middle of nowhere, no drinks or women in sight.Righto, Cap, leave it to me to find some real men.”

“Don’t fuck with me, boy,” the muscled thug growled, before turning his head down the path, “WHERE’S THE DAMN MUGS?! ERIKSSON!!”

Another Aesir hurriedly scurried out, clutching a handful of mugs that scattered when they tripped. One of the others laughed, kicking the younger pirate, before Cain was finally released. Two cups were tossed in Kaede and Cain’s way, the Aesir already scooping himself a full mug of grog. With mirthful hatred and bottomless confidence, he said, “C’mon, ye doxies, I’ll drink the two of ye stupid and crack Miss Molly’s nutmegs over after, eh?”

“My my,” Cain grinned wolfishly, scooping a mug for himself, “enjoy back gammon after all, ya cunt? Let’s drink ‘em all dead and toss ‘em cliffside over, Captain.”

    Hm…

Maybe he had gone a little too far with the acting after all.

  7. Kyupin jumped as a familiar voice piped up from behind her. She turned to face @Elysian, blinking in confusion as the words took a moment to settle in. But when it did sink in, her face warmed, cheeks a blotchy red.

    "Oh!"
she squeaked. "G-Good disguise then," she said with a nod to @Kaede Hoshi.

Even if she had her reservations about sending somebody else ahead to take point on possible dangerous territories, Kyupin knew she was better suited for fighting from a distance. She tangled her fingers into Vulcan's fur, letting his presence keep her from chasing the other as they rolled a barrel of rum into the group of pirates. Game mechanics were just too wild - being able to carry something that massive all the way up the mountainside... She shook her head, looking over as @Cain Darlite introduced himself.

She smiled weakly. "Hello. I guess she," she nodded at Kaede's entrance, "didn't get to hear. I'm Kyupin, and this is Vulcan. Let's... hope this goes well." That was all they could really do, after all.

And then they were all heading in to support their wild alcoholic of a captain. She stared in disbelief as Cain followed after Kaede, accent on point and ready to rile up the mountain-dwelling pirates. He did a great job of it too. She'd never thought a face could turn so vividly purple.

"Is that really a good idea?"
she mumbled, face painted with worry. "I hope they can hold their liquor." Kyupin certainly couldn't.

Well. If they got everybody well and drunk, Kyupin supposed it would work out. No fighting would be needed! And then her, Elysian, and Vulcan could carry Cain and Kaede through the passage. She nodded to herself. It made more sense than going up and asking like she'd initially planned on doing.

She looked to the side at the other Felis, chewing at her lip. "Elysian?"

Kyupin planned on hanging back, as she lacked the pirate attitude and appearances, but who knew what the other would do?

  8. Damn they were good. Elysian watched @Kaede Hoshi and @Cain Darlite do their thing and she had to admit she was impressed. They went all out for these roles and if she was honest she didn't think she would have been able to pull it off so convincingly. Kaede's rum scheme seemed to be working on all but one of the raiders and Cain's....interesting dialogue was sure colorful. Elysian bit her lip trying to think of some sort of role that she could play that would be believable in this situation. Then she figured it out and she smirked. Oh Kaede would love this, she did want that cat maid after all right? It wouldn't exactly be the same thing, but she knew Kaede would latch onto it and make it work.

"I think they know what they're doing," she whispered to @Kyupin Felnya. "Let's just hope I do too." She had a feeling Kyupin might hang back in this and it was a good idea just in case they needed help getting out of here fast. Things could easily go downhill and she was glad the wolf had been brought along as well. "Wish me luck," she said as she inched her way out to the edge of their cover. Time to make this as convincing as possible.

She hated to do this but clothes could always be replaced. Quickly the Felis ripped at her shirt, tearing holes and ripping off one of the sleeves. Then she leaned down, ripping the bottom parts of each pantleg off. While she was down low she dug her hands into the dirt, then proceeded to wipe the dirt on her clothes, and made smudges on her face. Now that her appearance was done, it was time to go. Elysian planted a worried expression on her face, conjured a bit of tears in her eyes and jumped out into the open.

    "Captain! Captain!"
she exclaimed as she ran towards Kaede, tripping on her feet as she scrambled towards the girl. "I b-brought the mugs Captain! I brought-" her face would freeze in terror as she patted herself down. "Uh oh," she'd pretend like she had forgot them. "Please forgive me Captain-" her eyes would light up at the sight of the raiders bringing mugs. "I'll take my punishment later, but we got mugs!"

Elysian would then crouch near her 'Captain' and start inspecting her clothes. "Please don't spill rum on these Captain, I just sewed them for you this mornin'," she'd cower if she was repremanded. She'd then peek around Kaede and grin at the raiders. "I bet my Captain could drink you all under the table, there is no way you can beat her." Her taunt seemed to work as some of the raiders scoffed, chugging their mugs and getting more. If they could get these idiots drunk enough it would be easy to get through. She wouldn't be drinking herself, but she hoped the others took it easy, it wouldn't be wise if they got too drunk. As for herself she would just keep playing her role and hope Kaede and Cain could push this ploy the rest of the way.

  9. _____Kaedé almost broke out to her normal self after the show Elysian gave her. Oh how much she wanted to tackle the girl and toy with her. Sadly she still had to make sure things went as planned and now with Cain drinking from the barrel it got just a small bit harder for the girl. Right hand reached into her coat to quickly at her top speed pour the small vial into both her own and cain’s drink while the raiders focused on the newest arrival. Sure it would not work as well but Kaedé figured it would be worth it later as she tipped her offer mug back and down it all without any spilling or much stopping during the single motion.

”Oh you will be punished for forgetting my personal mug you felis!”

_____Kaedé would raise her hand as if getting ready to hit the girl before waving fingers downward and watching the raiders drop one by one. A brief moment before she and cain would no doubt feel sluggish and tired as Kaedé started to giggle. Her hand opening from around the handle of the mug to reveal a different vail that was shattered. A grin across her face as she also showed her group the other vail and staggered a bit.

”Sleep potion, and the quick recovery… splitting it between two just helps fight the tiredness I guess… We have about eight hours before they start to wake up so that is the max time we have to find the princess.”

_____Kaedé would slowly stop her stumbling as she slapped her face and tossed the mug into the barrel. Slowly making her way to the raider’s camp area to get ropes and anything heavy she could find to start tying them up and dragging them to not be visible without entering the camp tents or area. If she had any help she would offer some of the gathered supplies but at the end Kaedé would give Elysian’s butt one firm slap.

”Punishment dealt, now shall we go rescue a princess or finish the rum together?”

  10. Oh, that rum hit him harder than he expected. Forcefully swallowing the vile concoction down, Cain swayed on his feet as the other Aesirs dropped one by one. A sleeping draught? Ah, he didn’t realize that Kaede came into it THAT well-prepared. Slowly, Cain sat himself on the ground, nodding slowly. Eight hours. Princess. Aw yeah. They totes fucking god it. “Whoo~” He cheered, definitely ACTUALLY drunk after that one mug of rum. “Alright, let’s wrap it…”

Pushing himself upwards at an angle, the man tripped on his legs, face-planting onto the floor once more. Oof, the pain hurt, but it also brought back some of his sanity. The slightly buzzed man rolled up on his back, before wiping his nose and wondering absentmindedly why the sky was so blue. Around him, the Pirate Queen of the Red Seas was already up and working, tying up the pirates. Eh…wasn’t that?

Cain’s second attempt to get up was more successful, his body flopping about loosely as his limbs regained their functions. “Gotta follow the story, Cappp,” the drunk muse drawled, laughing at her fancy little knots, “We get more than eight hours if they just fell asleep drunk after lots of sips, eh?? Just write them a letter saying that they’re losersss for getting knocked out…”

Another flash of drunken inspiration crossed the lanky man’s mind, as he set his foot against the barrel and kicked it over. Rum spilled to the side, while the barrel itself rolled down the cliff’s edge, smashing into the rocks below.

“Eyy!” Cain grinned. “Evidence destroyed too! Now just get them mug-mugs in their hands, sprawl them about and woooo they’re just drunks that drank on the drob! No, job. Jobbu!”

Two fists raised towards the heavens in victory.

“Story finished! Our Great Captain will drink everyone under the mountain! Take that, land-pirates!”

His face flushed red, Cain grabbed a mug and toasted to no one, drinking alcoholic air. Ah, this was fun~!

  11. The raiders fell faster than she had expected, but when Elysian saw the vials in @Kaede Hoshi's hand she shook her head with a chuckle. "Damn Kaede, you think of everything." Eight hours gave them more then enough time to make their way into the mountain passage and by the time the Aesir woke up they would be long gone. Elysian was half-glad she didn't drink any of the rum, since the others were still a bit sluggish, they needed at least half their team alert right? Before she went to help Kaede the Felis looked over her shoulder. "It's safe!" She told @Kyupin Felnya before joining Kaede in tying up the passed out raiders. A few times Kaede lost her balance but Elysian kept her arm around her waist, it was quite fun seeing her like this if only the circumstances were different.

Once they had tightly tied all of the idiots up, Elysian helped drag them out of sight. They would be found if the other Aesir looked hard enough, but this would do the trick for now. Plus when they woke up they probably wouldn't even remember what happened. Hopefully. Even so they would most likely get in trouble for falling for such a trick. Served them right.

Elysian jumped when her butt was slapped, giggling and playfully swatting at Kaede. She glanced at @Cain Darlite, watching with amused eyes as he sluggishly kicked the barrel of rum down the mountain and any rum that was left soaked into the dirt. "Looks like we won't have to decide," she said as Cain toasted himself and proceeded to drink nothing. Cain sure looked like he would be fun at a party that was for sure.

"Let's go rescue that princess!" Elysian said energrtically, grabbing Kaede by the waist, wrapping her tail around her for extra support. She knew her sluggishness would wear off soon but for now the Felis would take advantage of it. "Uhh think you can help Cain?" She said to Kyupin, maybe Vulcan would be some help with this. And with that the team would start making their way through. She had no idea what they would find, or if they would find anything. But if the rest of the adventure was anything like this it would sure be eventful.

  12. And just like that, the pirates were felled, sinking into a deep slumber one by one. At Elsyian's call, Kyupin poked her head out from behind cover, double checking that it was secure. With a nod, the rest of her (and Vulcan) came out of hiding, clambering into the clearing to help support their sluggish teammates. She averted her eyes from the playful flirting happening right in front of her and tried to figure out what to do. Who to help, to be more precise.

Unfortunately, Elysian had left the taller one to her.

Kyupin stared up at Cain, scratching at her cheek uncertainly. He was an entire foot taller than her! While he was quite the sight to behold, rambling drunkenly and grinning with the most flushed face, she wasn't quite sure how to support his weight.

Well. There wasn't really a choice. "Allllllrighty then!" Carefully, she extracted the mug from Cain's grip, and then tossed it into the laps of one of the tied up Aesir's.

"I gotcha!" Her hands quickly moved, one arm wrapping around Cain's waist (along with her tail), and the other reaching out to keep her balance. On his other side, Vulcan pressed close, keeping the tall human sandwiched between them. "Will he be okay?" she asked worriedly, uncertain how to really support his sluggish weight. "I guess he'll have to be..."

After a few tentative, wobbling steps, she found a pace that worked for them. Off into the mountain path they went!
