Just as Aselia was about to introduce herself properly another person entered the scene. A particular person that Aselia was quite cautious, or rather curious, about. "You may call me Aselia." Keeping it rather short the white-hair shot Magi a devilish smile. Her pose was all stiff and forced... did she make fun of herself or something? "Hey there Magi." Before speaking to the group in general. Unlike the corrupted Mahou Shoujo Aselia had far less problems keeping a poker-face. "Yeah! It's quite terrible what's happening to these kids! These poor, poor souls! My heart can barely take such injustice. Who in their right mind could do such a terrible and evil deed? Ah I'm getting all dizzy just thinking about someone being so vile!" Staggering a bit it was actually quite hard to tell if Aselia was seriously concerned or rather making just fun out of the really concerned. Either way, her emotions seemed quite involved. In the end, Aselia pondered. "You ask if I have seen something strange, mhm? I'm not sure, I tend to see quite a few things, gotta think a bit about that one. In the meantime, what about you, Magi?" She asked the other red-eye while showing her sweetest smile.
It looked like her faux Magi act was getting by for now. Good, she needed to stick with these bozos for awhile. The more she helped the less likely she would get caught and while that would be wonderfully terrible... it would put her in a spot with 'HQ'. Tenebris did not want to lose sight of the vampire who did this to her. No... she wanted to 'help' her almost as much as her best friend Saber. So getting kicked out of the manor for getting caught doing a petty thing like mass murder of children was not in her best interests. Some demon vampire villain thing Vermillion turned out to be thoigh. Actually not wanting to be involved with a mass murderer? Pfft. The Dark Heart relaxed some as she exited her Magi pose. It passed enough for now. The green haired girl, Solaria, immediately got under her skin. Something about that caring gentle elven face of hers. Gosh... Tenebris is so happy she could avoid growing up to be like that moron. This noob just radiated that fake lie of a love that Tenebris was absolutely done with for good. Breaking her would be fun though! The hero hating girl took a mental note. She couldn't let a girl like this go on forever with these flawed ideas! "... Eh... like I said. I, am, Magi! A heroine? You know?" The girl had asked for her name after she already announced herself in that obnoxious way once? No way was Tenebris doing that intro again! Unfortunately she came out pretty bitter with her retort. Oops, hopefully no one caught that! At least Aalam wasn't totally disgusting for now at least. Aselia? Pftt... Tenebris preferred Witchiepoo! She was really going overboard with her worry. That's kinda familiar. Tenebris did not pick up on it totally but the familiarity she sensed was based on she herself often having to act innocent when she could care less or worse, wanted the opposite of what she displayed. Regardless, Tenebris was not Magi and she knew this witch had made special candy, especially with Tenebris little extra! Seriously... she was a big fat liar! That's kinda kewl actually. Too bad she is going to get thrown under a bus now! "Me? I-I have only seen... bodies, bodies everywhere!" She struggled to say that without smiling. "Buuuuut. This lady here gave me this! It is really weird! Maybe she did it?!" Tenebris generated the potion of Chemical X from her inventory and left in on the ground nervously. She pointed at the witch and covered her mouth in false horror (and covering her massive grin). She had to fake worry and horror over the fun, eh... terrible event this was. Time to watch players fight eachother! Just like they always do anyway! Yay! @Solaria @Aalam Abungu @Aselia
Bending over to lift the bottle, the alchemist took a small whiff while leaving it closed- but just that made her feel uneasy, pulling it away from her face and returning it to the ground rather quickly. "I'm not sure what it is, but by itself, it makes me dizzy. L-Let's see...You said you got it from...Miss Aselia? Then if we follow that trail..." Wanting to free herself from the remaining fumes she seemed to think she inhaled, the elf stood back to her full height and wandered closer to the 'witch'. To her, Magi and Aselia seemed more like possible victims, likely due to her naive preconception that they were children themselves, and just as likely to be in danger as the rest of the children seeking sweets. "Aselia, where did you get it? If we go to where you received it, we can follow that path and find the source. We found the candy by using similar clues, after all." Sending an SOS to the world channel, she warned players in the area to keep children away from candies that weren't being handed out face to face, and if possible, to get them to go elsewhere for the remainder of the festivities. Feeling at ease with her work, she glanced to the man that had taken the wheel during the time. "Aalam, I sent the notice. Should I have added anything else? And...More importantly, where should we go from here, you think? I'm worried about these two being targeted by whoever started this mess up in the first place..." @Aalam Abungu @Aselia @Magi Heart
Aselia displayed a range of emotions in one, or two, seconds as Magi the Heroine called the Witch out. At first, surprise. Surprised that Magi simply sold her out like this, though maybe she had planned this all along. Then, her usual amused grin upon the realization that the pink-haired girl put her in quite the peculiar situation. Anything but this would have been boring, no? But after that, something unexpected happened. Leading to Aselia giving Solaria a big blank stare of disbelief. Her poker-fake completely removed. "..." The white-hair hadn't even need to say anything. No defense. She wasn't even allowed to consider playing some kindergarten-blame-game of blaming Magi who blamed Aselia who blamed Magi and so on... . No. Solaria, literally, talked herself into believing that Aselia was not the perpetrator. Was she just that....? Or... . Finally gathering her thoughts the white-hair shot a quick glance to Magi as to make sure if she was just in as much disbelief as herself before finally continuing. "...!" Now, finally, Aselia feigned some sort of surprise. "That... that is indeed my bottle but...!" Shaking her head in disbelief she was about to tell a small story. "You see. I love Halloween. I love bringing a smile to the children. Them ringing on the doors. Asking Trick or Treat and all. Alas, I live in a rather... difficult... area. So I thought I'd use that chance to at least make the children in this game happy!" Apparently Solaria believed her earlier, so why shouldn't she now? Putting as much drama into her small speech as possible. "So I set myself out onto a quest to make some sweet candy for the children. The usual stuff and everything! Then... there was this man..." Now, THAT wasn't even a lie. "As I was out buying the ingredients and asked him for it he told me he had something special. Something really sweet. Something every child would love! It did cost me quite a fortune but it was for the children! So... so I bought this bottle and... I couldn't have known... I... I am sorry I haven't said anything earlier. I... I was scared... so... so scared... It's all my fault. I should have known." In a sense, Aselia was confessing but at the same time Solaria already called her just a victim. So obviously the white-hair was playing the victim card. She doubted trying to shift the blame of anyone else cooking the candy would have gotten her anywhere anyways. "I... I'm such a horrible human being... ." Wow, the red-eye even managed to press out a few tears! Now that was quite some progress considering that crying on demand wasn't something the witch could just do. Or... maybe her body was just crying from laughter in real life? Who knew. Regardless, as fate wanted to have it, Aselia now looked all surprised, her eyes still wet of digital tears. "T-That's him!" She pointed to some shady looking older man walking the streets. "He was the one who sold me Chemical X!"
The 'young girl' was rather frantic it seemed, though Solaria wasn't certain as to why. It mattered not if the reason Aselia rambled was to share her story as a victim or perpetrator. She'd gotten that mixture from somewhere, and whatever it was was toxic. These were the facts in Solaria's mind. Her face watched as the witch cried slightly. Seeing the tears escaping her red eyes made this feel all too real to the young cleric. Without a thought (which was often the case), she wrapped her arms around the cloaked figure. "I understand, it truly is a terrible thing. But that's why we'll find the culprit and a way to save the rest of the children." When Aselia pointed out a stranger, a man whom apparently sold her candy-making goods and the potion that had been considered to be at fault, Solaria was stuck questioning the term 'Chemical X' only long enough for him to leave her sight. "The rest of you take care of getting rid of that stuff and getting the rest of the kids in town out of the area. Find candy and get rid of it, as mean as it might be to the children. I'll go after him and get the answer to why he gave such a thing...And maybe punish him as well." Rushing off and leaving the group, she followed the man and forcefully questioned him, getting no answers. He seemed to claim not to have seen such a thing, or having met the girl in the cloak at all. As Solaria became rough in her questioning, the man became fearful- but, as she took him out of sight to talk a bit more in depth, she learned one thing... This man was a victim as well...And somehow, she'd still have to find the perpetrator, but that would be a quest continuing into the future, with or without the ones that helped her start with this new goal. --End--
