It's dangerous out here Nalani! I'm coming, okay? Be careful!
    *busted

Silly girl, why was she always worried about her? It was herself she needed to be worried about. It only took a couple of minutes for Alpha to arrive, and Nalani grinned at her widely when her little friend appeared, waving excitedly in her direction, "Alphabet!~ It's nice to see you." If this was a normal day, she'd probably pull the girl in for a hug, asked her how she had been, and then told Terry how much she missed him. But, of course, with a giant evil spider lady on the rise, there wasn't really any time for that kind of shenanigans.

But, as soon as Alpha had arrived, she was gone, taking off under the belly of the spider towards the side that had just been attacked. Nalani laughed gently, watching her go off with a small wave. She'd told her to stay put, but she was stronger then that. Besides, staying put could possibly get herself damaged if the spider queen decided to turn around and use her next attack on what was behind her. So, she began to run towards the west, keeping her eye on the spider queen, She has to have some kind of pattern that she'll fall into... Most of these games have patterns like those, right? It can't be totally different every time... Or then we wouldn't be able to win.

All she could do right now though is watch and observe, take notes on what she does, and try to head into areas that she would be most unlikely to attack next, which might've been a bad idea with the West side, but she was willing to take that chance, hoping the aggro would stay on the tanks. So, once again she focused her gaze on the Spider Queen, murmuring another phrase of words under her breath as she pointed her wand straight at it, sending out another jolt of purple magic energy in it's direction, Yes! Another hit~ Boy, was she having a lot of luck today.

Aaron winced as he listened to the spider queen's raspy voice. "Sounds like something out of a metal song, if you ask me," he said. "But not the good kind of metal, you know? Not Freedom Call, or Disturbed, or anything like that. Nah, you're like those fucking punks who think they're a metal band just because they wear black, throw on some Saint Peter's crosses (Which, by the way, not satanic, you fucking idiots), and then screams into a microphone while just slamming your instruments around and making noise. You're fucking Black Veil Brides...."

His humor, however, dissapated a bit as he watched the spider launch itself into the air and then come crashing back down into his allies that had previously been webbed. "Oh shit," Aaron said. He gripped his sword tightly and lunged toward the spider, stabbing her in the rear. "Hey, pay attention to me, you foul abomination! You said there's no where to run to, that there's no where to hide? Well guess fucking what? You're right! There's no where for you to run, and no where for you to hide! Strike me down, or I will strike you down!"

Magi Heart covered her mouth and nose as the nasty web shot out of the spider's butt and covered everything it smelly yucky stuff. Grooossnessss! This was not a E for Everyone game was it? Oh boy, her parents were going to get mad if they found her with something like this. Magi Heart definitely would not move a inch from her safe distant place on this battle field. She did not want even a drop of that stuff to touch her! She seriously might log off and have to take a bath just to feel better! As she thought more on what to do next with her meager stats. The spider queen took yet another action! Woah... this was moving too fast for her. Magi Heart really had to up her game here, but how?

The giant monster then jumped into the air.... IT JUMPED! It crashed onto the ground further south with a massive crash. The ground shook almost throwing the girl off balance even from this far away. Magi Heart had a feeling people were really... not okay right now. She saw a guy named Ortix according to his blinking red health meter utterly devastated not too far ahead of her. She focused on him and used her healing art on him.

Sera scowled at the spider's actions, which seemed like they heavily damaged several people, which meant once again, instead of getting to damage the bitch herself, Sera had to spend time healing people who didn't understand the concept of letting other people take the hits for them. Then again, if everyone understood that concept as well as she, then there'd be no one to take those hits.... oh, the poor life of people with any modicum of intelligence.....

She began to chant her spell, using energy from Roy once again. She pointed toward the catboy, the drunk lady from earlier, and Roland. The first two because she'd already helped them some, so why not help them more, the last because she vaguely knew the man (she'd made him his swords), and it'd be poor for her business to have her customers dying too often. Hopefully he was putting those swords to good use and actually doing some damage to the bitch.

"Right then, my living shields. Put these hit points to good use, and stay alive long enough for us to kill that whore without her getting to me first."

Action: Healing @Ortix Farlin , @Roland Rutledge , and @The Wall for 13 HP each.

*ping* a notice took her attention briefly, receiving a message she could have probably guessed it was from either two of her contacts with one being the default system alert prompt, however surprisingly it came from the individual out in the field she had dispelled a debuff from. His appreciation wether he knew it or not bought himself a silent ally with Troy. A rewarding endevour, helping her fellow adventurer she never quite realized before the rewarding prospect of a noble gesture. Maybe more could be just so appreciative... she could lay down some good deeds and see what comes back to her.

Steadying her feet from a mini quake from the bugzilla, Troy got a feeling that this couldn't be good ''this cant be good'' she repeats this feeling out loud with absolute belief. Startling her, the bug pounces up in the air and drives back down the earth ontop of those victims that it snared previously. 'Thank god' relieved, seeing her health points gauge at a steady max at least that was something to be grateful about, though those unfortunate ass cushions underneath the spider queen took a pummeling.

Minor decision hesitated her briefly, deeply interested in protecting her cash cow she was experimenting the gratitude of individuals. Selecting two individuals and her investment Troy casts a Aoe heal @Ortix Farlin, @Roland Rutledge and @Olive Westfield . After pressing the corresponding tabs green ethereal energy swirls down around her and into the ground. The earth under the targets feet sprout feverishly growing vegetation, grass, sprouts, small plant life grow almost past ankle length. In that moment breathing fresh ozone they feel a slight vigor from the meager health regen.

Rein laughed with vigorous joy as his lady in red dipped forward before him, slamming into the ground with a titanic force. Truly her strength equally matched her beauty, he had to do… something. A sense of urgency pulsed through his body like icy river, it pushed him to move and act and go crazy all three at once but he wasn’t sure what specifically it pushed him to do. He felt a dry itch wriggle into his skull, “WHAT!” he screamed at into the air as he gripped his head in pain writhing for several moments before it passed.

Once it past, his task became crystal clear. He had to become one with the divine being before him, it was either it or him, neither could remain standing in the in, and deep down he knew this. Rushing forward without abandon he charged a ball of energy in his fist and slammed it into the creature’s forward leg sending a jolt upwards dealing 12 damage. As his electricity flowed through he, he could feel her pain, her anger-no her anguish rush into him. He couldn’t help but let out a gleeful laugh.

Merkaba gathered a bit more power this time. Annoyed by the corruption of her wonderful dark magic by Jack's buff. It was difficult but she was able to properly taint the added light mana to work at her command. Still, managing this power was not something she liked. Perhaps foolish of the dark lady to ignore such a combination as light & dark but her faith in just the dark gods power was too strong. Merkaba did not need the light or any other element! Focusing again, she generated a nice sized energy orb. This time she stuck her scythe into the ground and summoned another into her other hand. It was time actually put a wee bit of effort into this. Merkaba did not yet even use her special magic field or her various aliments and more unsavory magics for putting it down. Why? Because she did not want to kill it. This was something that the dark witch was enjoying watching to a extent.

Merkaba simply wanted to add to it's anger and resentment. She wanted to to push it harder so that was what she decided to do. Her eyes squinted as the two dark orbs were ready to release. She let them both go as they floated in front of her. She then slapped them across the side with her hand in one swift motion and they shot forward towards the Bloody Queen. The blasts aimed specifically at non fatal areas but aiming to incite the creature into more hostility and rage.

"You can do more right? Spreading such wonderful destruction? Let me feel your anger..."

Merkaba's attack aims to do no damage and does just that.

The illumancer’s eyes widened with shock and horror as his suspicions were quickly confirmed. With the crouching powerhouses of legs fueling the boss monster’s ascension, a look of dread glazed over his hazel orbs. His expression was nothing short of a grimace, an ugly one at that. Having seen similar movements from a variety of other games, one thing had become painfully clear for Jack. His work load had easily doubled.

Without much delay, he’d begin chanting fervently once more in order to quickly replenish the now multiple flashing bars of red. It’d take a cooperative effort this time to recuperate everyone’s losses in a timely fashion. Hopefully they’d manage before the next devastating hit.

    “Ande thoras ethil.”

Yet again a warm and soothing light would envelop three players (@Ortix Farlin @Roland Rutledge @The Wall ) as their health bars slowly ticked back up.

Letting out a weary sigh, he’d stumble a few paces over before bumping into a familiar Felis. His reaction was short and brief however as he’d send her a curious glance before reverting his attention back towards the combat. After all, a slight lapse in attention could cost rather dearly.

Due to all of the thrashing and damage done to the forest by the Spider Queen, the thick forest has now been reduced to a place with hardly any tall and thick trees, while the ground is full of trampled woods and uprooted trees, and bits and pieces of large, barkly plant life scattering everywhere.

The Queen has made herself much easier to hit. From now on, the minimum hit die needed to score a hit on the Queen is 30+

"NOOO WHERE TO RUUUUUN, NOOOO WHERE TO HIDEEEE..."

The voice boomed from above, as Roland looked up from his interface at which he was currently, desperately sending SOS requests in the world channel, “That…” Roland said looking up at the Queen flying up in the air, “Can’t be good.”

And sure enough, it was not as the beast came crashing down to the ground with a slam, pinning Roland against the ground dealing a horrible 80 damage. “AAGGGGHHH” he screamed under the weight of the beast, his armor barley withstanding the blow. Eventually the queen removed itself from him, but the pain was extraordinary, to the point that Roland turned his pain threshold down as soon as he could move his arms. A quick glance at his health flashed red, as it had been reduced almost three quarters from the single attack, and the only reason it hadn’t almost completely wiped him was due to the armor he was wearing, “Remind me to go on that date with @Lachlan Roland thought with a growl as he got up sprinting away.

His original plan was to head East, he had seen a few players heading in that direction already, but he didn’t see anyone out West, and he needed a moment to regain his health. He headed in that direction secretly hoping the tank he requested not show up in that area. Luckily as he did so he felt the healing light from a variety of sources, Sera, that girl from earlier, and some player named Jack. He gave them thanks underneath his breath noting to himself he’d have to thank them properly later. He eventually arrived on the other side of the creature and gazed at it with disdain. He should wait, give himself a chance to recover, and attacking was likely a bad idea, but he couldn’t look at its ugly appearance a moment longer and lashed out striking his blade again into the side of the arachnid dealing 26 damage.

FINALLY, he thought to himself as he saw the Spider Queen stomping the area in the south and clearing ALL of the obstructions that had been stopping them from being able to hit her. Although, he shouldn’t be thinking that considering how many people were on the verge of meeting death himself.

Knowing exactly what he had to do, Rudiford made a mad dash for the Spider Queen and began to strike at her legs and body, taunting her into hitting him. Fortunately for him, his attacks were somehow able to hit her and dealt a modest amount of damage. Now that he can hit the goddamn spider, he felt the game was MUCH more interesting than before, where he was simply just taking hits after hits without being able to put a dent on the enemy.

“Everyone, please help taunt the boss away from the injured people!” Rudiford shouted… except literally no one has probably heard him since he was in the middle of open ground where many people were injured and dying.

“Right…” he mumbled. “Well, your mother was unruly!” He taunted the Spider Queen with his puny and pathetic insult.

She was unnerved by how quickly the Spider queen moved when it leapt, setting about attacking those unfortunate enough to be incapacitated in her last attack. The effect was devastating, and though she couldn't stop to look right away, she was certain that this battle had seen it's first casualties. All she could do was hope that her friends were doing well, or at least still alive. The battlefield was no place for sentiment.

Dempsey kept up her hit and run tactic though, realizing now that her best bet for survival was to stay spread out, and stay to the fringes of the battle field, where the spider queens attacks seemed to seldom reach, as she was generally focused on those who sought to stand and brawl with her as if they were on equal footing. She knew that they may be the next ones to learn that this was not the case. Instead she capitalized on her stealth and mobility, closing into strike and then putting as much distance as she could between her and the fiend while it was distracted.

This time was no different, and she threw a leaping kick at the thing, striking at the small of its back where torso met abdomen, and using the force of the stroke to propel her to the relative safety of the other side. She was forced to land awkwardly and scrambled to dodge the things razor sharp and armored legs, but managed to escape safely to the wastern fringes of teh battlefield.

Rein fell to the ground gasping for air as the feeling flooded into him, he couldn’t explain why or how he felt this way but he was convinced it was the will of the god like being before him to see through her eyes. He felt an extreme amount of anguish and sorrow eating at her heart, and therefore his own. Standing on shaking legs he once again took in the visage of power before him seeing her in a new light.

Gone were the thoughts of remarkable cruelty, replaced by suffered punishment in her eyes. Gone was the sheen of blood crowning her queen of this realm, replaced by some sort of sickness that was born from within her. This was no god, this was nothing even worth worshiping which would make tearing her down even so much sweeter.

With renewed vigor Rein pushed jumped backwards pulling himself up on the highest tree stump he could find. Closing his eyes, he focused his mana into his palm, and then finger where it coalesced into a ball of pure energy. He then gazed at his opponent while thrusting his finger forward with an unintelligible scream, as it transmuted the air in front of him into a white hot beam that tore into the abdomen of the monster dealing 12 damage

Roland looked up as Dempsey slammed into the side of the monster before flying backwards far away from the thing. “Damn…” he said, “We’re likely going to attract its attention over here at this rate, I should probably move… but where too?” He thought of his possible choices, he had heard attempts to taunt the beast both north (for some bizarre reason), and south east however he couldn’t be sure if either would actually work. Worse he didn’t know what was going on directly East of him, where he had advised the weakened characters to go. Roland grimaced, really he had two choices, one, go back to the south end, or stay put. He weighed his choices, honestly thinking of the best solution came difficult but he decided what to do, “Maybe I can distract it. Its worth a shot”

Shifting gears, he raced to the south of the beast, where he used one of the now readily available fallen logs to launch himself at the beast’s thorax slashing at its abdomen, missing it by a wide margin. Ignoring any reaction from the monster he raced back to the West trying to put some distance in-between it and himself.

Aaron grinned at the result of all the creature's thrashing. Something made it seem like the spider queen would now be easier to hit. Aaron raised his sword high and swung it down at his foe, ready to deal some more damage.

Yet his sword bounced harmlessly off of the creature's carapace once again. "Gods, fucking, damn it!" He cursed. "Seriously, what the hell is with my luck?" He asked no one in particular.

He shook his sword, as if that would help him. "Hey, Tall, Dark, and Ugly!" He called to the spider. "So I'm thinking once I finish killing you, I've never really run into a spider big enough that I could cook up a piece and eat it before. How do you think you'll taste?" He asked it. He definitely didn't intend on eating it, spiders were nasty creatures and he definitely imagined that carried over to their taste as well. But he needed to draw the spider's attention to him, buy the people on the south side some time. It was his job, after all, to take as much damage as he could so that others didn't have to.
