Time Capsule
Buried under a layer of grime and rust is a chest of promising things. It lays in the rubble of a pillaged camp, perhaps left behind by either pirates, bandits, or settlers. Regardless, whatever the chest holds must be items worth of some value. The problem facing the collection of this treasure will be the sticks, stones, and pieces of architecture which loom threateningly overhead, blocking the possible ways to take the chest.
The space between the wreckage leaves enough room for an arm to reach through and take something out of the chest. The remains, however, are sharp and ragged. Taking the chest this way may result in cut fingers and bruises without enough precision.
Another way to take the glories in the chest would be to dig underneath the dirt floor and, perhaps, reach out of it with a hand and grab the chest. A successful attempt would require a flexible and dedicated person.
The Chest: The chest is made of aged, rotting dark wood. Splinters curl at the corner, flakes and dirtied spots litter the surface, and the metal keyhole has rusted over with a bronze tarnish. The box's bottom has corroded almost entirely, leaving a thin layer of impenetrable steel without the timber which coated its outside with a glaze of rustic appeal. The smell of decay lingers and the chest is nearly entirely buried by a surface of debris and bedrock.
Note: This is an event for people who have yet to open a treasure chest this week (timer reset's on Sunday).
