"H-Hey, where are you going?! STAY RIGHT HERE!" The brother complained to Blank as, slowly, one after one Magi's group was leaving. "O...Oh, are you gonna use your super awesome magic now, Supermthemegah!?" The girl saw this all apparently not as terrible.

"Calm down, Johnny!" The smallest guy in the group tried to hold him back from following Blank and punching her. "Hitting girls is totally uncool, bro! A-And, look, the weird... love hero is helping?" Her illusions were on point.

"T-This is bad..." Sebastian took another step back as he adjusted his glasses. Clearly not feeling good about this. Though did hesitate for a second.

    A fatal second.

@Magi Heart lovely magic started working. She wasn't stupid about her Art either, first, remove their means of escape. "AAaaaahhh!" The painful cry of Sarah was the first as her legs started to give in, crashing into the ground.

"Ha...haha...HAHAHAHA!" Sebastian, who now crawled, still tried his best to get away. He had to create a bigger distance, faster. Yet, as he put his hand forward, only to see one of his fingers falling onto the ground, his face had given into despair.

Sid just sat there, crying... .

"You... YOU DAMN WITCH!" Rick had potential. Yes. In some other timeline. Some other reality. Maybe, he was hero material. Even has his legs had given in. Even has his face had half melted off. Even as he was walking on stumps rather than feet. Even as he wanted to cry, scream in pain, just beg for death like his friends. Even as their supposed-to-be-fun trip turned into a living hell in just a second, Rick did not give up.

Whatever was left of his arm, his hand, formed into a fist. His last-ditch effort. Even in all this agony, he'd show Magi Heart, no, Tenebris, he hadn't given up. Just... a bit more... closing the little bit of distance... for his fist to re-...

It was her own, annoying, lovely, quirky, voice.

"She is the one who fights all day for you!
    M-M-Ma M-M-Ma..."

It continued singing more silently in the background as another voice introduced.
"Love and Justice is pretty hard, eh?"
    "...Magi Heart yeah!!
    She loves to eat candy..."

But she wasn't Magi, she was Tenebris, so why should this even matter?
"Bringing Grief and Pain, so much easier, so much better."

"Magi Heart yeah go go go!!"

Indeed it was! These emotions would people make give up on their silly dreams and achieve true happiness through death! And Tenebris was pretty good at it too, wasn't she?
"Yet, even then, you're still failing at it."

"She already gave up, the people sick of waiting.
Her love is pathetic, her false justice the worst!"

Wait... that wasn't even her old song, was it?

"After all your big talk. Alphabet? Still there. Blank? Still there. Celestine? Still there. Vermillion? Still there..."

"She is the Magical Tenebris! Tenebris!!!!!!"

It started, counting and repeating all the names of these people she decided to not embrace with her grief.
All the names of the people that Tenebris decided to leave out of her new convictions.

Just as Magi Heart wasn't able to bring Love and Justice to everyone...
Just as Tenebris wasn't able to bring Grief and Pain to everyone...

Neither a true Hero of Justice.
Neither a true Harbinger of Darkness.
For her convictions were too weak.
For she could neither walk in complete Light; or Finsterniss.

Why was she even doing this?

    For herself?
    To patch up something?
    To find a purpose?
    To fill her broken...

    ...

As @Celestine underwent some shock-therapy and put some serious effort into solving the puzzle for the group, she actually managed to do something... right? Touching both the empty orb and the one showing her own, she was nonetheless once more reminded.

Once more, she could feel it. How she was, essentially, empty. In an eternal search to find herself. An eternal search to fit herself. Changing behavior, changing made-up history, changing, changing, changing. Never the same. Never the old. But when one was permanent unordinary, not able to fit, wouldn't that become totally Ordinary?

Just who was her identity, really?

    The orbs lit up.

@Blank, being the genius magician she was, had no problems touching the correct orbs either! The flames a symbol of her passion. Her conviction. Her desire. Burning ever so strong. Reflecting her overzealous play to show just how much she meant it. That was... good, wasn't it?

Yet, there was the ice, the other side of the coin. An iceberg, crushing the little flame of life. Her own insecurities. Her own paranoia. Her own, weak self. Her own being for everything that was wrong. Two sides, essential. Two sides, in an eternal battle. Two sides, too unbalanced. Reducing themselves to nothing.

Blank, a name so fitting that she didn't need any other.

    The orbs lit up.

While both Celes and Blank showed success, @Comet got zapped! Better try again!

@Alphabet Chocolate in the meantime, after she had the time of her life, was moving closer and closer to the basement, too! Looks like there wasn't anything other spooky in the Mansion anymore, though.

    1. The inside of this orb is very bright.

    3. This orb shows another scenery you could be well aware of! Some modern city, maybe New York?
    4. Staring into this orb shows your adorable self! But... your real-life self!

Comet was on her butt, Celestine had just gotten zapped, and there were floating orbs around the room with no decipherable purpose. Oblivious to the melting children in the room she had just left (and the deranged friend whose state of mind she refused to accept was permanently in what she would call 'batshit crazy' mode), she met the mysteries of the basement with much enthusiasm. The voices which were talking to her before weren't very nice and, although the ordeal hadn't left much of an emotional scar on her as it did to Blank, the last words kept echoing in her mind: "Deluding yourself in the comfort of a play won't make reality go away."

"Eh," she shrugged, brushing Hector's fur, taking in the view of the room before her. "Well, at least there're no spooky ghosts! The thingies look pretty expensive, though!" She examined the wares with a sharp gaze, looking over the one that pictured an urban scenery with more interest than the others. Without a second thought as to the consequences (the pained Celestine and Comet had to have suffered their electrocutions from something around and the orbs were the most likely suspect), she grabbed the object and gave it a few brutal shakes, her ear trying to catch the slightest noise or jingle from it. It didn't seem like there was anything in it and, content with the superficial value of the item, she rolled it a few times in her hands before lifting it up for everyone to see.

Her eyes sparkled, unbridled without the worries of her possible cash cow being a possible trap or contraption. "This," she began, rubbing it over Hector's face and waving it around for everyone in the room to see, "is gonna be great! You guys ever been to Washington D.C.? Tourism! Everywhere! Gift shops sell I Love DC t-shirts and people still buy those worthless pieces of junk and this? This is our ticket out of here! We're gonna be the next Warren Buffett, guys! We're gonna be the Zaphod Beeblebroxes of our generation!"

She could just imagine the fountains of cash they'd be swimming in. "This isn't a random mysterious object! This is a super special magical item that can see the future or something! Advanced civilization stuff that those uptight guys in Stokbon would die over!" she flipped it over and, finding nothing else to glorify, tossed it over her shoulder and moved onto the next item of interest. An item which seemed to flicker between a countless number of pictures and moments without discretion.

"And this! It's not a dysfunctioning camera circle! It's an ancient artifact that can see into alternate dimensions...which we're gonna sell for a lot of gold, guys! Think big, think huge! Think like you're Steve Jobs and I'm Bill Gates and we're planning to monopolize and dominate over this world's capitalistic industries! We're gonna get those pretty rainbow crystal things for Vermy and then, with the use of magic and economical manipulation, we'll control both everyone's lives, reality, and the stock market! Bwahahahhaaha!"

And then, as her maniacal laugh echoed through the chambers, the two orbs began to light up. She stood, completely oblivious, with her chin pointed up towards the ceiling, enraptured in her diabolical plots of world domination. "And then we'll open up a franchise of theme parks called Universal Studios and we'll slowly develop using brand name characters! And, before long, we'll have complete control of all entertainment venues in the states and, later on, the world! Muahahahaha!"

  2. img The cleaning of plant life and the countless screams of the garden were one thing. If Cain's 'squawks of noise' were considered music. Then that was s symphony orchestra! This though... this was different. Even when compared to the many great rescues she had wrought during the Dark Harvest.

This was so... cruel, malicious, disturbing, terrible...

    So not Magi Heart.

It was perfect! Or... maybe a little to fast. Tenebris had hoped to just handicap them enough so she could watch the looks of griefful joy on their faces as she slowly shot each one to death. Sigh... crud. Oh well, it was still a good step in the right direction! That many more people on Tenebris' saved list.

In fact it was so enjoyable that Tenebris had to stop and just stare at just what was left. Decayed corpses strewn about. So kewl... her eyes were wide with a look of glee that could have horrified even one of her 'allies'. Walking slowly through the room. She began to step on each one's corpse as she chuckled a little more with each second.

Look at what she had done! Look at the despair of it! What would other's think of her? Would they be sad? Would they be angry? One thing for was certain... they would GRIEVE!

Her eyes shifted to the frozen girl as a skull cracked under her heel. The snap sounded amazing! That girl would probably thaw out and... and...

    "M-M-Ma M-M-Ma, M-M-Magi!
    M-M-Ma M-M-Ma, M-M-Magi!

It was her's... no it wasn't her's it was...

    "...Magi Heart yeah!!

Oh... so that's what was happening....

Someone was in her head. Tenebris thought as much. Someone had some sort of mental abilities or something. ...How did they know that song? How do they know ANYTHING? Was, Magi still there? Was Wendy still there? Did they know?

"She already gave up, the people sick of waiting.
Her love is pathetic, her false justice the worst!"

Her eyes closed and her fists clenched together as the pinkette's bang's fell over her eyes. A dark shadow seemed to hover over her even though she was completely alone other than the iced girl.

    "...You think....you know?"

So that was part of the problem. Yeah, she had to keep herself separate from her. She wanted to be someone else...but that wouldn't work. Tenebris was Wendy, and Magi Heart. The disgusting truth. That even with what she did now, it really did do nothing. What did killing a few kids do? Saving them... wasn't that just a waste of time? Being stuck under Vermillion's thumb... letting every keep going on and on and on with this... game?

"She is the one you can see flying into the night to fail the daaaa-ay-ay!"

    "....Hehehe....hehehehehe......"

But, there was one thing these voices didn't understand. She loved her failure, she thrived off of the grief of it! And yet... was that really the case? How long could she just sit around and enjoy failing?

A hand opened as a arrow formed next to it. The hand grasped it tightly as it's energy ran upwards like a purple flame.

Turning she fired at the ice to shatter it and finish the job she started in here. Being frozen was no way to help someone. Her frustrations released in a strong steady stream of energy that could possibly tear the wall down in the process, she really didn't care though. Her emotion's and her mind were all over the place, but in a way it was very helpful for her. Tenebris needed something still... she was not a complete person. Not ever since she was born. That thought alone was part of why she was wrong though.

Hiding. The true her was hiding. deep in a blood drenched, taint filled, shattered soul. Tenebris, no... whatever Tenebris was. That was just a name given by a trigger. Wendy was who she was, and yet... she wasn't. This was part of the problem all along. Why she had so many internal struggles. Why she couldn't just be who she was!

The distorted, lost young teen opened her eyes. Red and bloodshot as they glared at where she fired a beam of death. The largest Grudeg Arrow she likely had done since she developed the attack. The tiniest trickle of blood fell down her right eye. Her face was distorted into such a maniacal look of madness that she was barely identifiable without close inspection.

"That song was fun to make back then. ...You didn't get all of the word's right. Hehehehehehe...bad, very, hehehehe... very bad. But, hehehehe... you know what?"

She turned around with nothing left to do here she kept talking not caring whether they heard her or not.

"Gee whiz.. I was and still am a failure. You are also failures. Everyone who does anything is a failure. Life is built on failing. You fail and fail and fail... and then you die❤. Those who succeed only ignore their failures. It's like people think is love when it's a lie. Do I want to stop failing? To spread grief better? ...Hehehehe... what did that note say? I'm coming for you? Well, guess I am coming for you❤. I'll show you what failure feels like. The joy of having no hope, no future, no anything but grief and death. I want everyone to feel that. So let me show you the love that you just showed me. "

Her face calmed but the look in her eyes remained psychopathic.

"...Then I will go treat myself to something very very very bitter. *Snicker.*"

Wendy just wanted to help others but as long as her soul was this divided, this resistant to using grief to accomplish her dreams. Then, the self being born from her would never be truly complete. Until she could be, she would have to just dwell on her joy in failure. That was how she would push on until a day came where the rest of her would open up.

After the spark that ran throughout her body, and the success of others, Comet's insecurity struck hard. She backed away from the rest with a tightened face nearly full of a pink blush. Being wrong felt weird to her. Not being in control even weirder. In fact, she realized that being older proved the only advantage in the group. Well that and a heck of a lot more maturity. Still the pink-haired woman grabbed a lock of hair to tug anxiously at. Self-doubt coursing through bulging veins didn't help the already quick heartbeat due to being zapped out of nowhere. Certainly, she expected something but not the humiliation of falling down in front of the others. To the puzzle she silently cursed while backing further into a corner, awaiting action. With their process at least the door would open soon which would mean a continuation of their journey.

Her mind wondered to what Magi did to handle the stranger, and she hoped it'd been a smooth process. Surely a cute little girl could fix the problem Blank created. Relentlessly freezing a crying child hadn't been on her mind of possibilities. But... Comet also couldn't find it in herself to care much about anybody else in the moment. She served as backup, a mercenary, and nothing else. A tag-along adventurer with a knack for ranged weapons and a steady hand despite her hands that trembled constantly and were so cold often feeling would be lost. With a soft sigh the pink-haired woman rested comfortably against a wall, arms folded over her chest, as she watched the smaller girls attempt to deal with the current dilemma.

Blank let out a long sigh as the two orbs she pressed lit up. Judging from Comet's reaction the electric shock that followed guessing the answer incorrectly wasn't something that Blank wanted to endure right now. For some reason, her whole body was shaking as if she had swum three miles and was still out at sea, without a coastline in sight. She couldn't quite place why though, and everytime her thoughts started to wander towards it, her wrist began to itch in a distracting manner. Regardless it seemed she had some down time while the others tried to figure out their orb combinations.

With a sigh, Blank decided to remove her cloak, draping it on the ground, before sitting on top of it. If she was going to have to wait, she was going to take a minute to recompose herself, after all, her mental health was so poor at the moment she'd likely strike out at anything that moved at her in a threatening manner. With a deep breath, Blank crossed her legs in front of her, before closing her eyes. And she fell.

    Deeper

    and deeper

    and deeper still.

She fell until the void had consumed her.

Blank's breathing began to slow as the darkness coursed through her, flowing through her veins as if it had replaced her blood. Slowly she felt the tension leave her shoulders as they began to drop at her sides. Inhaling deeply, Blank noted how odd of a feeling it was almost tranquil, an exact opposite of what the void had felt when she had first experienced it. As it soothed her body and soul, Blanks mind began to turn, preparing for the rest of the adventure before her.

Tenebris gripped the side of her head and shook it before continuing on. She was supposed to thrive on grief so why did this bother her? It was the one thing she couldn't stand, even though she thought she had become better at dealing with it. ...She was dealing with it! She did want to live to finish what those little voices started though. Yep, she had some saving to do. Hurting herself can come later. She... already had a nice fill of hurt today. Her glass is definitely full.

"Stay... away from me. If any of you say a word about this when I am done. I will not stop shooting until you die."

She didn't laugh she didn't use the word save. She didn't find the grief from this particular scenario enjoyable.

Alpha scratched the back of her head nervously at Magi's threat. The girl was her friend; she wasn't going to tear her apart with arrows for no reason, right? Still, she couldn't help but take a deep breath and a gulp down some invisible thing that decided to worm its way down her throat and get stuck there like a rhinoceros squeezing its body through a pipeline---and failing to get the other half of its body out. Under normal circumstances Alpha would brush off her words with a humored laugh, slapping her on the back in a friendly gesture. Something was just...off about the magical girl at the moment. Something Alpha couldn't pinpoint but she knew was there, like a lingering darkness that unfolded in the room, bringing feelings of unease and dread without a hint of what caused it. A monster with no face, a beast with no gruesome visage; the simple instinctive fear of the unknown.

She laughed it off albeit anxiously. Her weak attempt sounded bad, even to her own ears, but it made it a tad bit easier for her to take Magi's words in stride. Something just ain't right about that girl but, then again, was there anything right about any of them? Blank's one step away from a major breakdown, Celestine's hyperactivity honestly frightened her somewhat (the hypocrisy of her judgement on Celestine was something she was proud to point out considering that she was self-aware of her own tendency to dawdle and prance around with an abundance of spirit---Celestine was probably just that much worse than her, and that was Alpha's initial impression of the girl)...Comet seemed relatively sane and nice at the very least. Hector's a bloodcrazy hound and Alpha? Alpha was, perhaps, the sanest person in the room, despite what anyone else would say to the contrary. In Alpha's mind, she was probably the only one with her head screwed on in the right direction and, just maybe, that was why she resisted those breaking words so well.

"Deluding yourself in the comfort of a play won't make reality go away."

The words were the same yet different this time. As it echoed through her mind, filling her head with a sudden spark of doubt and an undercurrent tinged with the tightening of her heart, she felt a wave of electricity pulsing through the air, moving with the words. The air, dank with the coldness of Magi's words and the intrusion of this sparkling occurrence, made it obvious to Alpha that something was there. Something was right around the corner. Something would happen soon. She dropped the orb she was keeping in her arms, the item rolling to clink against the other object she had tossed away moments earlier.

She braced herself. Hector, diligent as always, had his claws digging into the fine floors. Alpha couldn't help but roll her eyes as the wolf stood oblivious to the fact that he'd probably be stuck in place for quite awhile with how deep his nails punctured through. "I can feel it in my bones! Coursing through my veins!" she hummed under her breath, arms outstretched. Her eyes glinted, the light from above giving them an amber tint.

"Guys," she whispered, teeth bared not unlike a shark. Her face was contorted into a ghastly expression of glee and even Alpha herself didn't know why. Was she waiting for a battle? A confrontation to calm the rushing blood Magi had set ablaze? Was she looking for a chance to ignore the differences in her friend? Was a part of herself trying to forget about the words that she hadn't paid much attention to before; that despite her delusions, everything was falling to pieces? Her friends were dead and the ones that were left were busy running kingdoms, saving damsels in distress, or slowly turning into the antitheses of themselves. She had always known Blank as the girl was now and she had just met Celestine and Comet, but was a part of her hidden behind her joyful demeanor silently mourning the more innocent version of Magi Heart?

She had ignored the differences up to now despite how obvious they had been. She ignored every mention of Tenebris Cordis' new name. She had ignored Terry's death, opting for a temporary replacement in the form of Hector even though, deep in her soul, she knew that she mourned him still. She ignored every sad happening, every curse she spat at the heavens, every grudge she held for her family, and every pain she felt in both the game and in real life.

Now she was thinking about it again. Why was she thinking about it? Was Magi's uncharacteristically cruel words and distorted tongue the catalyst for these thoughts? Was it the sentence in her head that wouldn't stop no matter how much she wished it, like a broken cassette tape on repeat for what seems to be eternity?

In the face of all these thoughts, Alphabet Chocolate did what she did best. She grinned, she ignored, and she forgot. It was easier this way, after all. And, as she readied her blade in preparation for a battle or anything along those lines, she remembered there was one universal truth, one universal constant, that held her life together: she was Alphabet Chocolate and she was destined to do the one thing Alphabet Chocolate did best. Play. Escape. Abandon.

Things can only hurt her if she remembered, after all. And, if one asked what Alphabet Chocolate was thinking in these moments, then she'd answer with the only thing there was to answer with: "It's fightin' time!"

With that sentence uttered, she stretched her leg to kick @Blank's prone form. "Up and ready you go, soldier! We got a puzzle to solve and something coming round the corner sometime soon! Gotta exorcise any ghosts that comes through!"

There was a heroic shimmer that seemed to settle upon Alpha's form and, posed for battle, it appeared as if Alphabet Chocolate had become the one thing she had always wanted to be. A hero. A victor. An invincible, indestructible, untouchable being.

"...If it's a spider, we're totally gonna have to nuke the place. Just saying! Icy's spell is gonna be useful in purging this world of all spiderkind, now that I think about it!"

A little introspection on her deep feelings about everything and preparing for an epic duel! She has a gut feeling something's gonna happen...and gut feelings are always right, obviously.

With two of the last four Orbs now lit thanks to @Magi Heart, it was all too obvious what the last combination was! The one with the heart, representing love, and whatever it was that the person, most likely meant for @Comet, most desired.

Regardless of the most-adult woman solving this or not, one-way-or-the-other, the barrier broke. The spell lifted. The obstacle removed. The big, rusty, iron-door creaking loudly as it slowly opened, all by itself. Inviting the intruders to intrude even further.

Collecting themselves, one way or another, the girl group would proceed down a dozen more stairs down. A number of stairs that made any normal kid cry about just how many stairs they had to go down! Someone like @Alphabet Chocolate would maybe even get the crazy idea that this was part of some mountain-monk-training-thing! Going up - or in this case down - so many stairs every day they'd have stepped enough for the rest of their lives. With the exception just to repeat the torture again next day.

Nonetheless, after what felt like another small eternity, with only some dim lighting provided by some torches on the side, they were greeted with yet another door! Just as big as the one before.

They could feel it, @Celestine maybe for the first time, what they were seeking was behind this. The long-awaited treasure, the prize after some annoying dungeon with way too many cutscenes. It better be worth it! Yeah... pleasing Vermillion was always worth it.

As they reached for the big, metallic, knocker on the door, however, it opened all by itself.

Wowzers! You did it! Congratulations! Welcome to Paradise.

An upbeat voice immediately greeted them as she stretched out her arms, the last part of her sentence rather sarcastic, if not even strangely tired. She was just one of five people present in this room. No... not people, but rather, human-sized dolls? It was honestly hard to tell, some of them had obvious joints and what-not while on others it was hardly noticeable. This... what even was this place?

There were a bunch of rather childish things spread across a stone-floor in this rather large room. Toys, crayons, child books, stuffed animals, even drawings of very varying skill were lying on the ground or drawn across the stony surfaces. To one side there were a bunch of beds and, again, some more childish than others. Even a toy castle was present! The singular light source of various crystals sitting on a generously sized chandelier gave the entire room a rather uplifting look.

At the other end of the room was yet, another door, this time way smaller. Undoubtedly leading to their promised treasure.

You're the grunts of this... woman? Leave this place and don't turn back. This'll be the last, and only warning.

The one who spoke up now, standing right beside the red-head in the middle of the room and the closest to the group, had a rather strict tone in her voice that contradicted her rather naughty appearance.

Hmpf. Not like you'd listen anyway, after coming all this way. An empty act, nonetheless required so nobody could claim otherwise.

With these words, they could feel how magical energy was gathering around her, apparently finished with talking.

A-Are we really going to fight them? Please... don't get hurt too much. Fourteen, I know you're exhausted, but try your best, okay? And Thirteen...

A really, really small doll looked with worry in her eyes at the back of the room to another one. Sitting in a big fluffy chair with a face nearly void of emotions. This one, Thirteen, seemed to be of the creepy, gothic loli, sort. Her hand slowly lifted upwards as she pointed towards each of the intruders.

    Pointing at Magi
    A girl, her dreams corrupted...

    Pointing at Celestine
A girl, searching for her true self...

    Pointing at Blank
    A girl, seeking friendship...

    Pointing at Alphabet
A girl, wanting to be someone different...

    Pointing at Comet
A girl, ... doesn't belong here... seeking... acceptance... urgh...

With these words, the usually silent doll fell silent again. While her words more-or-less reminded them of the mental attacks they received earlier, she carried no magical force behind them. Harmless, even.

Ten, Sixteen, please be silent for the remainder of this fight as to not give the enemy any hints to our capabilities. Listen to Fifteen, she's in ch-

The last of the bunch, also small but still normal, did not finish her sentence as she realized her near slip-up she made.

Whaaaaatttt? You're so boring! Holed up all this time and now I can't even have some fun talking? Well, excuse me princess for not having super awesome superpowers to mess with Papa's Home! You know how it feels to get teased all day just seeing how YOU'RE having fun with all those visitors? Bleeeehhh!

This one seemed greatly annoyed as she stretched out her actual tongue towards the heterochromia one!

Oohhh... I should introduce myself, right?! I am Sixteen! The creepy one is Thirteen! The small one is Ten! And the two spoilsports are Fourteen and Fifteen! You look even more lovely in person! Especially the ice cube! How about I'll be your friend?!

With a lovely grin on her face, 'Sixteen' made a playful gesture with her clawy hands towards @Blank, gosh she totally dug that look!

Urgh, just shut up and fight! The way we have practiced.

Celestine waited 'patiently' for the others to finish with their orbs... if patience was frantically pacing around the room nagging people through the communication feature. Finally, Pinkie arrived to finish the last piece of the puzzle, or at least 'finish' it to a point where they could guess the final two. Staring at Pinkie with a longing gaze, it was clear Cel was expecting something. A nice pet, maybe some ear scratching. Either way, it didn't come: too many stairs to distract them.

Finally, a light shone at the bottom, and Celestine's eyes were met with the most adorable room yet! Partially for the room and its decor, but mostly for the 'people' inside.

"EEEEeeeeeeee~!" Cel let out a loud little squee of joy, practically hopping off the walls. The taunt of the creepy one did catch her attention, and it earned the creepiest doll a special little glare, but the cuteness high Cel was experiencing couldn't be shut down by silly, unimportant things like 'philosophy' or 'her life's meaning.'

"Oo, me me me!" Hopping up and down, Cel appeared to be answering the one with the claws. 'Sixteen,' she'd called herself. "I can be doing you a friend!" Without any warning, Cel suddenly rushed forward, simultaneously casting an air spell which shot her forward towards Sixteen like a cannonball fresh out of a cannon. She held her arms out mid-air, preparing for the ultimate glomp, while totally ignoring any advice her teammates might've had to say about "not doing that."

img Tenebris kept right on walking all the way up to the front of the party. Her eye's went from one dolly to another. Through the haze of distortion that was her heart and mind right now., she remembered the letter. They were the dolls. Were they even alive technically? Oh well, they were alive enough and she was feeling extremely violent right now.

"Hehehe.... You think you know what it was like to be that stupid? You think you can tell me? You did not live my life! Hehehe.... Now I will show you what failure is ❤. You gave me a lot of love, I just have to give you back... hehehe.... so much more."

Her 'party members' didn't even register. The only thing in her mind was...

Give them more LOVE and JUSTICE then anyone else ever had!

Tenebris' body radiated purplish black fire as she raised Gertrud before her and made a single pew pew motion with her other hand at 16 and 13. Her gaze stayed on 16 then, even as Nyanko jumped on red doll and was hugging her uncontrollably.

    Gee whiz... disgusting...

This needs to be made so much better. It must be made better!

"....Stay out of my way you guys ❤. I am going to have soooo much fun... hehehehe.... saving them alllllll! If anyone get's in my path I'll just take you all to heaven together ❤! Yaaaaay! Hehehehehehehe!"

    The arrow formed.

A quick sideways dash to the side covered in just one low to ground leap to leave her in zone 12.

The arrow set. Red eyes gleamed with a shattered insanity.

The instant her feet hit the ground with a small skid...

Arrows flew like needles in a cone shaped wave in front of her. Aiming at the center of the large room. Whoever was in that crossfire, more grief for them!

"Wowzers!" Alpha exclaimed as the door opened, taking a moment to blush after she realized what she had accidentally spouted out. Maybe Magi was brushing off on her more than she thought. Hopefully she wouldn't end up sounding like Blank, of all people, by the time they were done with this adventure. "So, uh, awesome to be here! Paradise sounds pretty cool. Pretty crayons, by the way!"

She took a look around and, to be quite honest, Alpha found the place to be quite homely. There was a disproportionate amount of girls in here, yeah, but it wasn't like Alpha wanted to catch cooties. It kinda sucked that she couldn't really tease anyone about their manbits but she supposed some compromises had to be made. Alpha didn't really know what to do in this situation but, with Sixteen's colorful appearance and joyful introduction, Alpha couldn't help but give a similar fond greeting in return. "Name's Alphabet Chocolate, the Great, the Amazing!" she ignored the chatter from the other girls, completely missing any hint that may suggest an upcoming fight. "You sound totes cool, though! Wanna stick with us instead of those losers?" Alpha jabbed her thumb at the rest of the bunch, their young faces looking like bitter, sour apples. There was no excitement, no enthusiasm. Boring.

There was a brief conversation to be had with everyone but, once everyone had agreed that Sixteen sounded cool enough to keep, she supposed there wasn't much else to do than steal...er, kidnap...wasn't there a better term for this? Capture? How about...liberate. Liberate was a nice way of saying that they were gonna take the kid and probably slaughter the rest of their family, wasn't it? "Okie dokie!" Alpha declared, pointing her finger straight at the red-headed girl. "My lackeys and I have decided that you are gonna be part of the cool kids club! You'll be a popular kid, so you gotta ditch those...unpopular friends of yours, mkay?" she clacked her tongue, making it obvious that there was no other acceptable option for the doll.

Before she could do anything, however, a shower of arrows and Celestine's squeal interrupted her planned monologue. "Ohmergerd!"

She facepalmed. "Don't ya worry guys, I'll heal ya up later! And, uh, Magi," she looked over to the girl a distance away. She gave her a thumbs-up. "Just keep doing what you're doing! Don't ya worry, I'll get Celes and red-hair to safety! Wait...her name should be Ruby, y'know, like the red stone gem thing? Nice name, right? Praise my awesome naming skills!" Alpha began to flaunt her superior naming abilities, her chest puffed up with pride as the battle raged on in front of her.

She continued to praise herself for a while longer before, finally, she took charge. "Okie dokie! Don't panic! Physical pain is just a figment of our imagination and, if we believe we don't feel it, then we don't!" she snapped her fingers and, from the tips of her digits, a purple ring pulsated through the room. Illusions affected perception of all sorts, including that of pain! If she made it so Celestine and Sixteen didn't feel anything, then it probably meant that they wouldn't be injured, right? She gave herself a mental pat on the back for her genius.

"Remember guys, it doesn't actually exist if you don't believe it exists! Just close your eyes and the arrows will be gone!" she shouted. Hopefully the pain for the two will be numbing out soon.

Leaving behind the orbs, far too disappointed to give them another try in contrast to usual persistence, Comet followed the girls moving down the steps quickly to catch up. Paradise sounded too ominous. Too odd in such a creepy, abandoned mansion. Her heart beat sped up and ears perked, eyes scanning the room. More, younger-looking girls made themselves more than known. In exactly what way? She could hardly tell but a gut feeling warned her. A prodding and poking warning hard to ignore. They were a threat, she knew, in some way. The Archer grabbed her bow before preparing an arrow to shoot. The group before them had powers unknown but Comet felt fed up. In herself and her childish teammates and the whole adventure itself.

Celestine's actions were shocking, but not for long. The pink-haired woman shook her head in disagreement with the glomp. Hopefully the Felis would learn her lesson soon, Comet hoped silently, emerald eyes glimmering in slight excitement. An adrenaline rush always aided in fueling her right before battles. Pink lips curling up into a small grin of hope to... to be proven, and to get out alive, she shot the arrow without resent or hesitation. As soon as Fifteen mentioned that the others should "fight" as "practiced", the Archer had been ready. In fact as soon as she'd been called out a bubbling guilt turned into boiling, vengeful blood that desired a good battle to release all mental toxins while in the moment.

"That's not how it works, Alpha. They aren't our friends... pretty sure these girls actually want to hurt us." she should out to the sprinkle-covered girl (@Alphabet Chocolate) without much hope. Kids had to learn sometime, right? Comet mentally face-palmed before returning to an admirable posture and focus; completely ready for any action to come her way at any time.

Blank sighed with relief as she heard the doors to the tunnel opening. As relaxing as her meditation had gotten, there was only so far one could go in a dusty old mansion like this one. With a small jump, she stood up, feeling re-energized. "Right, let's go!" she demanded in what almost seemed to be an excited tone. However, after taking a few steps forward, she realized she had forgotten her cape, and headed backward dusting the garment off before throwing it around her shoulders, "Much better...."

The descent down into the basement was a long one. An irrationally long one. It was so long that she began to ponder what the purpose of having a room buried so deep was. Occult sciences? It almost had to be. "Hehehe..." Blank giggled as they descended even further into the darkness, "I'm glad I didn't destroy this place, I'm going to turn it into my secret hideout." Her words were lost to her comrades though who shortly after arrived at a door, which stood open in greeting for the gaggle of girls.

It only took Blank a moment to size up their opponents before realizing, "They're like bad copies of us... tct...." As Blank muttered to herself, Magi strode casually forward, before jumping away and initiating an attack. "Good." Blank thought, "Let's just get this over with." After shouting for everyone to stay back, Blank began to mutter a small incantation under her breath as she was surrounded by a glowing magical circle. Slowly charging her mana she looked around at her teammates, Alpha was casting a spell, and Comet was firing her arrows. But where was that stupid cat?

Looking forward Blank spot Celest trying to throw one of the dolls into some sort of bear hug. A brief flash of annoyance, from being ignored, dissipated quickly as a smile grew across Blank's face. Raising her staff, Blank sent her mana, tumbling in a line before her, "Come frozen tide, seal these nonbelievers behind a wall of permafrost!" As she shouted, she tried to force her mana, to condense and spontaneously form a thick wall of ice between Vermilion's team and that of the Lolis. Of course, there were quite a few people who would be in the middle of the wall as it formed. Including Celestine, and Sixteen. What would happen, even Blank did not know. As it formed, however, Blank retreated back into the corner of the room, readying herself for another spell.
