Personality
On a day to day basis he appears as a man who minds his own business. More often than not, he can be found taking in his surroundings, plotting his next course of action. This makes him come off as anti-social, but by no means is he against talking with people. Sounding cold is a problem Alonso has a difficult time removing from his speech patterns. In essence, the man wants to just make sense of everything going on in his life. Even when playing a simple game he does not want his time to be uncomfortable. Alonso's quiet tone of voice creates a serious atmosphere, but his deeper voice tends to be overbearing, and sometimes asks one too many questions. He will often be fond of making plans with others, and would much rather be the responsible one than have somebody else watch over the younger players.
Disagreements are an unavoidable concept, and he is glad to be rid of someone who would be a severe burden in the worst of ways. This is not to say that Alonso would drop a person in the middle of the desert for he or she to die, but it is the more chaotic and ignorant people he wants nothing to do with. Anyone who would rather march in and rise their ego to unfathomable levels is better off being set to 'Ignore'. Life for this man has been stressful ever since the passing of his wife. The arguments set forth those weeks prior to the woman's were all regrets Terry, his real life identity, would much rather act as though did not exist. Despite his mannerisms in certain situations, the man is still a polite fellow who is not afraid to ask if somebody needs assistance.
Perhaps it is to blow off some steam, his combat mode is... extreme, to an extent. Logic states this is due to his picking of the Berserk mastery, a switch clicking in Alonso's mind to maim a target in all out brutal force. Unless the situation looks grim, and his life is at stake, he does not care if aggro rushes to his status. Just more targets for him to smash. Yes, he needs healing by the way.
Positive: Wise, Observant, Respectful, Logical
Negative: Quiet, Blunt, Cold, Nosy
Biography
Involvement in computers and tech was always an interest that allowed Terry his chance at gaming. His youth was not some grand endeavor, and felt it better to remain at home and give his friends rare chances at hanging around. Often he was seen before others, due to his size, and his chances at using his mass to protect weaker folks did not end well. It caused more trouble than it was worth, unfortunate for those in trouble in the future, and he found the realm of coding to be a much better structure to work on. Granted, he did work out as a means to relax away from the annoyances that came with a computer. Some found it a waste the man did not use his built strength for a better purpose.
Later in life, and after some pushing from his colleagues at a web service company, he did end up marrying and had two kids. Terry did feel the pride of supporting a family for many years, but despite his good relationship with his wife, something was off. He began to notice a lack of motivation from his end. Not for his kids, mind, but with his wife Linda. Both of them found neutral terms, and it was not until their kids were in the latter stages of high school did their squabbles begin. His involvement in the overall family was slipping, and she kept pushing him to act far beyond what was reasonable.
The arguments stopped, but only after Linda stormed out after a harsher fight and died in a car accident.
He considered himself a horrible person after his realizations. Terry's lack of will to reveal his true feelings had caused all of the drama to occur, and he could not bring closure to his poor wife before she left this world. He was not a lady sort of person. Yes, Terry was able to accept he enjoyed dudes, but Linda would have been understanding of that. She was too good a person to berate the man for such preferences. He did his best to keep up with his children, who both ended up remaining nearby for college. Although their college years also became the target of his doting over his kin and being way too daddy-bird sometimes.
Recent times brought the man's attention to that brand new VRMMO. He was curious about where it came from, and wanting some stress relief from the real world, decided it would not hurt to try a strange game. No reason to keep himself miserable.
