  1. _____It still took a lot for Kaede to deal with everything she was forced to undergo. Getting locked nito the game for some time now had all but destroyed her mentally and due to her personality physically a few times. She gave up trying to find a way out, gave up trying to value her life in the game, and simply drank and did what she wanted when the thought arise. While it was not much different from when she was not fully trapped in this world, anyone who knew Kaede well enough could tell it was different.

_____Sometimes a girl could go almost a week or so without Kaede trying to invite her into bed when she felt them more… willing to enjoy the invitation to the fullest. She would be respectful in public, try to upkeep a positive image unless she was drunk or suffering from so many dark visions she needed to act out to hide her grimness. But now, Kaede was simply unhinged from worry or cares.

_____If she saw a woman she wanted to kiss, she would even if they had a man or another woman in their arms. If she wanted more she would take it without asking, if her life was on the line she simply kept going about what she wanted to do. She did not drink when her visions got stronger, she simply drank because in her mind she lost her anchor to normalcy and it sent her into the deep darkness of her inner desires.

_____But, despite giving up on caring for life or how people saw her, she still dressed correctly… well somewhat anyways. She allowed her hair to flow down her back, a black dress shirt left unbuttoned enough to show half her breast. The stomach area torn off to reveal her slightly toned stomach. A loose set of pants around her lower body, the beltline pulled down just enough to hint she was not wearing anything under that layer either. And on her feet, some socks and boots.

_____In one hand, held loosely was a wine bottle, only two fingers keeping it from falling to the ground as Kaede lifted it to her lips and savored the growingly dull taste from over drinking the same brands. She needed a change of pace, a change of scenery, a chance encounter with someone she could really drive up a wall with lust and desire to simply help mute out the growing pain and self hatred.

_____That was why, despite so many times saying she would never enter this city again… Kaede walked the street into Vintergard. Sure she met some of her Harem members here other times, but after the ordeal with Titianus, getting locked into the game, she had a number of reason to avoid here. The most glaring was the fact the king of players, astor called this city his own. If not for him, her head stinging as her temper started to return and she simply refused to think about that annoying person any more then she already had.

_____With a quick shake of her head, another sip to finish off her bottle of wine Kaede resumed searching for someone to enjoy the company of. A temporary moment to stop as Kaede leaned down and carefully set her empty bottle next to some other glass bottles before resuming her walk. Despite drinking so much before she arrived, the only real way to notice Kaede was drinking was her breath now. She walked calmly, did not seem to have any dilation in her blue eyes, or other signs really.

_____With every step she scanned for someone who stood out the most to her. She wanted a woman, no a young woman but one who looked mature and strong. She wanted one with a body that would make her jaw drop, not one that was clearly to much but maybe acceptel on the small side if she worked it right. But above all else, she wanted one thing more then any, a good kisser, and an even better lover. Call her picky, but that was just her mood at the moment.

  2. So, she apparently had a registered "title" now. During the party hosted for those whom sacrificed their spots in the portal for those that couldn't be revived, also known as non-playable characters, she thought nothing of the term. It was loosely thrown around and dubbed to each of the players attending the event. Never did it cross her mind that the simple title might become engraved in her, connected to her very being. Even the game registered her newfound status because each time she pulled up her HUD there it was, "Dissonant Martyr".

It wasn't as if it was a terrible thing to be called. However, each time someone recognized her as this "Dissonant Martyr" she wanted to shrink away from the crowd. In Terrasphere, and even in the real world, Shangri La was used to keeping in her own little world. By no means was she ever a main character in it; instead she was more of a background character. And you know what? She was perfectly content with observing. Dreaming of being a hero was nice but the spotlight suddenly drifting to her was an uncomfortable change.

In hindsight, walking around in one of the places where it all began wasn't one of the wisest decisions. She might as well be walking around with a beacon attached to her forehead. Much to her chagrin, a few times she was stopped by a citizen saying they recognized her from the stories a family member told. Shangri La tried to tell them they had to wrong woman but their excited chatter gave her no room to interrupt. Several times she wanted to scream that she was no hero - just a simple player that was no different from the rest.

After the last encounter, Shangri La quickly bolted off with her head hung low. If she couldn't see them they couldn't see her, right?
That's how it should go. Too bad the world didn't center around her. With her bangs covering her purple hued eyes, she didn't notice the wine cradling woman until it was too late. Whether she stumbled over her own two legs, the player able to dodge her foolish missteps, or she rammed into the player was up in the air as Shangri La was too dazed to come to a solid conclusion.

Her thoughts withdrew from the depths of her head as she forced herself to focus on her surroundings, something she should have been doing from the start.

I-I am so sorry! I didn't see you. Or.. well.. more like I wasn't paying attention which isn't much of an excuse.

Shangri La sheepishly brushed her bangs out of her eyes as she stumbled through a light, airy apology.

  3. _____One great thing about Astral magic was the early warning system, tack on the Hunting mastery and one’s reaction time was almost scary. Frame leaning to the left as Kaede made a shallow spin around the girl quickly approaching from behind. One hand staying behind in hopes to hook the girl from getting away and pulling her in gently while spinning her to face Kaede as her eyes returned from black to the usual blue.

”Well that would have been fun to be pinned under such a wonderful woman, I would like to stay standing and not have a sudden fall whilst slightly intoxicated my darling.~”

_____Kaede Smiled as she spoke, her voice soft as she leaned closer to the woman while speaking. A devious smile flickering across her face for a moment as Kaede leaned in to try and kiss @Shangri La while her left hand reached around to gently grab hold of the woman’s right cheek to enjoy the rather close encounter she had forced them into. A playful laughter escaping Kaede’s lips as she gave the woman a chance to step away if she still had the focus to do so.

”Though I must say, fate seems to have decided it was done screwing me over to allow my to bask in such a wonderful aura of a woman such as you.~ May it be to much to ask for the name of such an admirable woman?~”

_____Kaede smiled again as she moved her hands into view and tried to walked around Shangri while overlooking her body. She did not have anything that looked like serious in any one sort of department, a well balanced beginner maybe? Kaede happily hummed as she finished her circle and leaned closer again, her smile changing to a slight blush as she spoke again.

”I hate to be so forward… I’ve just had a really bad week and wanted a change of pace… I know it might be too much to ask… but… Mind keeping a girl who needs a friend company…?”
