Personality
On the outside Comet has built a shell of protection that she uses to present herself as a friendly, accepting, confident woman. It's a practiced and developed persona that's hard to crack or catch as an act. Behind this shell she battles her insecurity brought on by outside influences and their expectations. A perfectionism stirs her anxieties and self-doubt that is only ever expressed through actions or facial expression: things that Comet rarely allow to form freely as she tries her hardest not to show who she truly is. With an aim to please the masses training herself to have a certain tone of voice, posture, look, aura; it's expected of her to have perfected self-discipline. This ultimately leads to her oppositions being canceled out among the desires of others. Thus Comet turns to very subtle harsh words or comments or uses her retaliation in the end to protest what she's against; the alternative to pure aggression or passiveness - two traits she cannot and will not let herself have for they either pave the path to a bad reputation or a weak spine.
Naturally, living in a world of competition, the pink-haired woman can be quite envious of those around her no matter the degree of how much they might be "better" than her. Matched with an innate greed these two flaws lace her heart and demand dominance above all other emotion. Sometimes envy and greed succeed for they are a powerful pair. Fortunately, Comet's temptations can be somewhat kept under shackles if the situation calls for the need. Covering up such shameful flaws happen to be a multitude of virtues that are mainly how she is viewed by others. Attentive eyes and a quick brain aid Comet in the stickiest of moments where she is forced to call upon her intelligence or to make choices with the flick of the wrist. Socializing with others is her best quality; and shown through how able she is to make "friends" fast or to slip into any conversation with so much as a polite greeting. Which comes in handy when mistakes are made or perhaps someone is hesitant to be as outgoing as herself. There's a strong belief within the young woman that allies and enemies alike are meant to keep close - no matter how much they are despised - because they decide how much power she holds
Positive: Quick-Witted, Ambitious, Sociable, Persistent, Sympathetic, Observant

Biography
The shaping of Violet Palfrey began when she was conceived. Her parents prepared themselves for her - and better yet they prepared who their child would be. A daughter, the epitome of beauty, prodded and poked at until she learned to live and breath the perfume of her parents ideals. Despite being naturally blessed in the eyes of her peers Violet always felt as if she were at the bottom of the tier of society. Constantly competing against anyone and everyone until not one person would approach her. They were tired of Violet and Violet was tired on the inside.
A tiny world bloomed within the imagination of Violet and became her escape. It was when imagination diminished with age that Violet began turning herself into who she strove to be. Retaliation painted her teenage years with a type of fun only she could experience but behind closed doors stress brewed. This "fun" hardly lasted for long. Maintaining the perfect image her parents wanted, being a top student, etc.; these things crafted Violet into the monster she saw in the mirror over time. Self-loathing and dark eye bags and a vacuum of envy and one too many pageants turned Violet to mindless escapes that would distract her from everything else much like when she was a child. Except this escape
did put a real smile on her face, gave her likable friends instead of followers that fought away loneliness for her, and rad thumb workouts. In a game she could push her constant need to be the best onto a character already created and fit for the role.
Though meager escape from the real world hardly prepared her for the harsh realities of being under her parents' influence. Violet followed the fine line painted by those who'd enslaved her emotions and took her free-will to turn it into a shaped, disciplined personality of what could be effortlessly deemed perfection by envious or admiring onlookers. Creating a character and playing them proved to be much easier than acting out as herself: there were
actual consequences as a human back on planet Earth.
School carried on for the privileged, growing woman who had been given the rare chance to pursue whatever she desired as long as her contract with ruthless agencies continued. Unfortunately, even attending a prestigious college far away or out of the country still meant being underneath the weight of expectation and forced acting and consistent listening in case she dare "stray away" from all of the hard put into her creation.
An SD card fit just right in the palm of her hand on her special night, high school over. A nervousness consumed Violet so she set it aside while preparing for the future after graduation. Relentless curiosity presented the best chance in her life to
truly "escape". A note and copy of Terrasphere settled among an important place in her heart. She never saw the boy - who she remembered brushing fingers with - again though she wished, instead of freezing on the spot, that she'd thanked the giver. Maybe pull him aside and get to know his face, anything. It felt much better than the diamond ring of engagement slipped onto her bony finger by a man engulfed with feelings far from warmth or endearment. The mysterious boy had had an unrequited love for her only expressed through this small gift. A love she'd been blind to by focusing so much on herself. By now, he would most likely be hundreds of miles away so exploring the fact that someone saw through her act enough to feel affection towards her would be impossible.
Violet could feel her power already growing despite living in such an insecure shell once more: a newfound sadness being overpowered. Just like when she happened to be in the middle of a match when her parents called her name Violet gave a cold shoulder to her life and decided to start a new one. Or, at least a temporary safe haven from the mirror and her parents and the real world itself. With Terrasphere she could craft a name, and look, that truly holds meaning rather than be confined by the chains that come with being born as Violet Palfrey.
