Personality
In real life, Teddy's a charming albeit self-absorbed guy. He's swell, nice enough, and he'll even tip the pizza guy a few extra dollars more than average but his predilection to stare at himself in the mirror and croon compliments has left him with as many friends as he can count on one hand. Named after the 26th president, high expectations and the constant comparisons of his own abilities to his namesake's has left him with some sort of inferiority complex that manifests itself in his insanely competitive nature. He hides his own insecurities by proving himself better than his peers but, even as he's neck-and-neck against another guy, he still has the heart to give congratulations where it's due and take his challenger for a smoothie when the fire's burnt out.
In the game world, however, Teddy's worst traits are brought to life. In a place with no consequences and with virtual avatars he can't empathize with, Teddy is affable enough to at least treat others kindly but, when it comes down to it, he doesn't see NPCs as sentient or equal. He enjoys the entertaining world at the expense of others and justifies his actions on the fact that Terrasphere is a fictional game world. Releasing all his pent up stress in the form of the cruel manipulation of in-game lives, Teddy lacks restraint and remorse of any kind.

Biography
When his parents saw the chance, they took it. Taking on his mother's surname, his parents named him Theodore Roosevelt and acted accordingly. Acting as if his name granted him greatness, Teddy's parents often pushed him academically and athletically; he had to be perfect. The constant praise and pressure piled on him by his family, as well as his prestigious schooling and above average capabilities, left Teddy with an inflated ego which decided to bite at him soon after high school.
Although he was a stellar student and friendly enough, his lack of respect for rules and authority led to him being expelled a few months into college. Too prideful to reapply, he decided to set his sights on athletic pursuits. Unfortunately, that didn't work out quite well either. In the end, Teddy was forced to move back in with his parents and find a semi-decent job with a schedule that didn't conflict with his online education courses.
Needless to say, Teddy went through about thirteen different jobs within a year alone.
