Alpha spread her arms wide, embracing the rushing winds pushing her back. The cliff-side breaching over the powder blue sea seemed to blend together with the scenery and the heavy, dimming sun setting on the horizon gave the sight a truly beautiful visage. Even Alpha, who had never truly enjoyed such frivolous pursuits in enjoying nature and art, couldn't help but stare in fascination. If she closed her eyes long enough and brushed away her thoughts, she could pretend she was part of the wind which hurried past her.
The first week of Terrasphere's release had been hectic with welcoming events and a flow of unique, vibrant characters filtering out the virtual world. Dunnstads seemed to be one of the few places that was completely and totally unknown, with no explorers sharing information or knowledge of the place. It had been a land flourishing with mystery and, although players still had not uncovered the secrets in even the beginning areas and Brisshal, Dunnstads seemed to be a nice refresher from the green landscape of the forests and began the journey into the chilly coast.
It had been soon after growing bored of the starting areas that she began to fully use to communications panel to its fullest potential. Before long, she had connected with two players: Lucia Mierz and Nalani Rosa. It was a great meeting and they spent much time chatting during off-hours and had decided to meet in the inconspicuous cliff here (which was by no means shady, she reassured herself). The ledge cutting off into the waters cut off after a sudden slope and, while she stood on the top of the hill, she could see the churning waves and the bubbling ocean below her. As mesmerizing of a sight it was, it soon bored her like everything else.
"Ugh, when are they gonna come?!"
She dropped to the ground and hung her feet off the cliff-edge, alternating kicks between each feet and, after every few intervals, grabbed a pebble here and there and threw it into the sea, watching it make a resounding splash. She sighed. Waiting wasn't as fun as she expected it to be.
