  1. The flash of light in her eyes caused Veradia to squeeze them shut on instinct. There was no sound of the instant teleportation between the menu and the spawn point, but the moment she could feel grass beneath her bare feet she knew that she was in-game. It was surprising to note that she could use all five of her senses in Terrasphere still, as she could taste salt on her tongue, while the humidity weighed her down heavily. Pursing her lips, Veradia casually blinked her eyes and lightly cringed back as her vision went spotty from the difference of the light.

Stepping back and shading her eyes, the violet-eyed female frowned and cast a surreptitious glance around her before hesitantly turning fully around. Where was she now? She peered closer to the forest, although her stomach twisted in knots. This feeling caused Veradia to subconsciously step back. Why was she feeling nervous? The young woman didn't really feel nervous, although she knew that she was in an area that was considered quite dangerous for beginners.

Inhaling deeply, Veradia squinted at the sky apprehensively. She tightened her legs, brushing her green hair behind her long, tapered ears and focused more on the forest. Her mouth thinned, violet eyes piercing the forest curiously. Then she sprinted forward, long legs pounding into the ground as she searched for the fastest way to get to the nearest city.

  2. Alpha examined the green-haired lady with curiosity, trailing after the Yladian by hopping through the trees overhead. Strands of light flickered through the dense leaves but it was just a sliver compared to the darkness which had fallen underneath. "Heya!" she called from atop as they were about to make it past the thicket. "What's your name?"

Alpha leaped down as the long line of trees ended, gently landing onto a patch of vibrant flowers. It was a meadow of grass and beauty that had lingered outside the deep forest and it was a sight that remained pleasant even to Alpha's inquisitive, fluttering eyes.

"So," she waved, tilting her head to the side as she took in the sight of the tall stranger. "What're you doing round here? Are you new or something? I'm pretty sure you're a player, aren't you? Well, nevermind that! My name's Alphabet Chocolate but you can just call me Alpha! And, from this day on, we're friends! Okay?"

Alpha extended a warm hand to the stranger and gave a charismatic grin. Her wolfish ears flicked and her rose moved with the breeze. It was a serene moment and, although Alpha hadn't thought anything interesting would come out of her typical day's stroll, she knew there was just something about this woman that intrigued her immensely. Maybe the woman was a potato farmer of some sort or a confectioner. Alpha had a sixth sense for this sort of thing (in her own opinion, anyways).

"I know what you're thinking! We just met and there's stranger danger, yada yada! Just think of it like this! You're now my friend and there's nothing you can do about it! So just sit down while I plan a celebration party in honor of our newfound friendship!" she cheered.

  3. Upon hearing the voice behind her, Veradia nearly tripped and fell over a root. Whirling around with startled violet eyes, the green-haired young woman couldn't see anything that would belong to someone that sounded so young. She choked in shock as a chocolate-haired young girl leaped out of a tree and landed in front of her.

My name? Veradia thought, her baffled thoughts flitting through her mind swiftly. The meadow the two were in was definitely eye-catching, although not as eye-catching as the wolf-eared child in front of her. "Veradia," she uttered, still quite baffled by the energetic teen. Her eyes narrowed in irritation at Alpha's continuation of her ramblings.

"I'm trying to look for a civilization, I am new in the sense that I just started this game, and I am definitely a player. Great Uene, slow down, kid!" Veradia was lucky she had experience with these kind of people, as there were several in the real world that thought of her as their best friend. She didn't really care, as Veradia didn't really vocalize her thoughts. Period.

Talking was also something that she genuinely didn't like to do. Gingerly shaking Alpha's hand, Veradia pursed her lips and quietly considered the small teen in front of her. She had to stifle a snort at that she was nearly two and a half feet taller than the brown-haired child. Raising an eyebrow at Alpha's sheer audacity to know what she's thinking, Veradia exhaled sharply and glanced around the meadow.

"Friends. Sure." she muttered, twitching and looking slightly irritated. "Know where the closest civilized establishment is?" Her voice softened slightly, as Veradia was currently squinting through the trees to determine if anyone else was around.

  4. Alpha rolled her eyes and gave a pout at the mentions of civilized society before stomping her foot. Her eyes burned with a fiery passion despite the obvious lack of time and thought she put into the subject. "People say that society is good. People say that city life is good. I preach ANARCHY! I preach...uhh...what else do I preach?" she furrowed her eyebrows and there was a minute pause before she just shrugged her shoulders and began to improvise. "I serve justice in the name of potatoes! I preach in the name of the moon! I eat chocolate by day and cereal at night! I am...the one called...uh, what was the rest of that again?" she asked confusedly, genuinely puzzled. Her current predicament was one of a whimsical nature yet the troubling look she held seemed to radiate feelings of severity and dismay.

She shook her head, ridding herself of the impure, unclear thoughts that lurked beneath that consisted of ideas such as 'maybe we should stop talking about potatoes' and 'maybe society isn't that bad.'

"So, Veradia is your name! La di do da! Veranda. Veradia. Aloe Vera. Okay then, Aloe Vera! I'll take you to Stokbon, it's this nice city-place in Brisshal but, in return, you'd have to go to the Sweets Emporium there with me for a few treats!" she offered her hand. A sinister smirk appeared on her face. It was as if it was a deal with Mephistopheles. "Deal?"
