Private - Foxes and Vixens

  1. Brisshal was definitely a beautiful place, the kind of place where nearly any person would immediately relax. Vast grassy plains, gentle hills and green forests, with the occasional river or stream to help complete the atmosphere and to give one access to refreshing clean water if they got thirsty, or needed to cool off after exhausting themselves travelling and/or fighting the creatures living here. While there weren't any truly extraordinary mythical beasts around here who would give one the opportunity to enter the realm of legend by fighting them there still was plenty opportunity for one to train and prove themselves, fighting against more mundane but also much safer creatures such as wolves, boars and angry chickens (the latter were avoided, usually, although whether that was because fighting a chicken was considering embarrassing or because the angry chickens were more dangerous than the others was an argument in itself).

Of course for Vina there wasn't a lot of motivation to fight the animals, when she had the skill to get them to accept her presence and show little to no hostility towards her. She wasn't planning on taming any of them, but one didn't need to act with the intent of turning them into a pet to calm them and convince them that they don't need to be frightened or wary towards you. As long as you were a Beast Tamer travelling was fairly easy, at least in the regions which were dominated by more bestial monsters. She was pretty sure that most groups of travellers would even be willing to pay any Beast Tamer a respectable amount of money for ensuring their safety in these parts, so beasts wouldn't come and attack them or steal their provisions. Vina herself wasn't that interested in making money, but it was something she could consider in case she ever needed more gold.

For now though she had an entirely different objective, unrelated no matter how you looked at it. The Beast Taming just made it easy for her to come here undisturbed, as she waited for someone else to arrive. She had invited a fellow Felis to hanging out and getting to know each other, after the two of them had both participated in a mission where they had come face to face with death. Back then there hadn't been much opportunity for them to get more closely acquainted, but Vina was pretty sure she'd make a good friend in @Blake Elgis. Her fellow Felis had certainly made the impression of being a very nice and friendly person, if a bit shy and easily embarrassed... which Vina personally found both endearing and enticing, since she was a flirt and a tease. Not that she wanted to make people uncomfortable, but it was hard not to play with people when they could blush and stutter so adorably.

Of course Vina had more motivation than just the fact that she thought Blake's blush was cute. During the mission the two of them had helped each other out more than once, and she wanted to give her thanks in a more calm setting, and hopefully they could have a good time together as they enjoyed the landscape and became more familiar with one another, using this opportunity where they weren't in a hurry and there wasn't anything trying to kill them. Aside from her shyness Blake had also seemed a bit disturbed by the mission (no surprise there, since Vina herself hadn't been completely unaffected by the nastier parts, although she had recovered quite well), and Vina also thought this might be a good opportunity to make sure Blake was doing all right. She should do the same with the others who were part of the mission, but she wasn't sure how to find them... They hadn't really exchanged information at the end of the mission. She could try using the in-game messaging system...

Well, that was for another time. For now Vina just sat at the edge of a small stream, her obscenely long white hair spread out behind her and her tail idly swaying as she waited and watched her surroundings, a peaceful smile on her face as she closed her eyes and enjoyed the sensation of the wind brushing the landscape, making the countless blades of grass sway and causing the trees to whisper as the white Felis sat in the middle of it all. She was someone who liked doing things, who liked being active and energetic. But she also liked appreciating what was there, and this place was too perfect for her to ignore. It wasn't as beautiful as the crystal forests up north, nor as exciting as the jungle of Druuk Island, but it was serene and welcoming, it made you feel at peace and helped you sort out your thoughts calmly. Distanced from troubles and problems, this was the kind of place you should come to if you were having issues, which was yet another reason why Vina had invited Blake to meet her here: if Blake was still bothered by the mission she'd be able to enjoy herself here better than most other places.

Regardless of whether Blake was or wasn't bothered by the mission Vina was planning to make a new friend today, because if she was in a new world then one of the best things about that was the fact that in a new world there were new friends to be made. There would be adventures, magic, fantastical stories and things, this world offered opportunities that you could never get in real life, but for a social butterfly like Vina the opportunity to make friends was just as important as any of those. The fact that her new friend was extremely attractive was just icing on the cake, although it'd make it harder for Vina to not flirt with her until she went scarlet and unable to speak without stuttering for two seconds with each word. Even if Vina put great importance into personality and just having fun together she wasn't going to deny the fact that Blake, just like Vina herself (in her own confident opinion), shared the trait of turning heads from people of both genders.

  2. Many would say that they've been through hell just to boast about it. Blake had actually seen it first hand. What happened in the Capital's Walls just a day before was enough to make one want to quit this game, but Blake just couldn't. Even after all that happened, all the death and suffering of enemy and ally alike... The feeling of adrenaline pumping through her veins, lost for long it felt foreign almost. It was addictive. She didn't get that type of thing outside of Terrasphere, and probably never would again. Although, a bad thing about adrenaline is that you can kinda forget that you are injuried. A sudden jolt of pain went through her head as she grasped her knuckles. Broken, torn and bruised. That's what she got by punching metal and hide bare-fisted. But she couldn't be bothered to stop and get some healing. That would probably take a while and they would ask for her to rest or something like that. She couldn't really afford such a thing at the moment, as she had someone to meet. A old companion, but a recent friend.

Hopping off the caravan she took to Brisshal and paying the rider a fee in gold, she started to make her way to the meeting point. Her look was slightly different from what Vina may remember. Her hide armor was torn and mangled, while she had bandages in different places of her body, hastily put on without much care. Typical Blake. But she still had her silly smile on her face as she walked through the open area, noticing that she ended up behind Vina. She smirked, knowing exactly what to do now.

Sneaking behind Vina was surely helped by her novice rank in Rogue mastery, and she smiled widely as she managed to get into striking position. Flexing her legs for a second, she slowly picked up the pace before starting to run, and jumping towards Vina with a flying hug. She didn't know exactly why she chose to do this, but she just felt like it was the right thing. Weird.
