[INV;Guild] The Birth of Heroes

[INV;Guild] The Birth of Heroes

  1. It had been a long time coming, today was the day. The once poor, stupid and noob Aaron Steele had finally grinded away enough to earn enough gold to create a guild, the only problem was still stupid and a noob. The former more so than the latter as he hadn't quite yet informed enough folk about his planned; perhaps a handful of folks when he went off on his adventures. Although wanting to keep it modest, his ambitions were high and his dedication unparallel. But once more like a noob, he never quite figured out the details of the guild system. All he knew as he needed a lot of coins and three members total; including himself. As such he needed to learn more but before he could do that he'd need to earn the trust of two others to get the ball rolling. With a sigh, he'd contact several individuals personally before posting up a rather intricate and ballsy move.

Greetings brave adventurer, , I hope that by taking the first step into reading this message you are already aware of the crisis that plagues this land. I'd be foolish to say that it needs hero because I know that not a single person can do this alone. That is why I'm calling all players, Beta and New to heed my call. Please, be the HERO the land needs, let's show our VALOR and UNITY and otherwise dedication to making this place a better and safer land. This is why I've sought out only those most worthy and adamant to join me among the ranks of The Heroes Of Falderen.

By simply answering this call it tells me you are an individual looking to claim the title of a Hero. A person of Passion; not only in combat but for those of this world itself. Our goal as a guild will be to earn the respect, honor and the privilege to become Falderen's number one guild choice. We'll achieve this goal through several industries, such as trade to provide economic stability. Protection provides not only peace of mind but the rights of the people. Most importantly the purpose of the guild is to give players the chance and opportunity to make something of themselves, through hard work, dedication and a unified goal. So if these words touch heart then please show up to the following location.

Stokbon; Guild hall. I'll be located over at the Tavern side with Beer and warm food, free of charge and available to any who come. Remember a hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles. So I look forward to working with any of you who come; because we all do heroic things, bu a hero is not a noun, it's a verb. So, make the right choice and walk the right path; I'll be waiting.
    ~Aaron Steele

The male would finish typing out before sending it as a general message posted in the search group under Guilds. Hoping to call any and all who might arrive. Sitting there now upon a small table with beers waiting and food incoming in a short time he'd smile and sip at his mug waiting patiently.

OOC: Min 300 words Max 600 No posting order but keep it within a 4 post cycle. Meaning there should never be less than 3 posts in between your posts. This allows for maximum banter and a flow to happen. Once a day I'll post minimum until we can all agree in character; this is made for day 1 to create the guild a day 2 will be made or set up for you to pair off and go train; seek out simple quests. Spread our name and help meet the requirements.

Those more experienced don't be afraid to help the others. These groups are 2 guild members each; to help keep flow fast as well as promote further stories and bonds. Mix it up as Days move on; one approved I will set up our Mission then should we succeed host our event.

  2. By the time Rye had received the message, she was already in Stokbon and looking for supplies. In spite of the fact that she was clearly a noob, she was neither stupid or a fool. She knew that grouping up with different people would help out her current goals, and admittedly helping out the NPCs was on that agenda. Slowly rubbing her thumb against her chin, Rye struggled internally on what she should do. Go against her personality and help out where she could? That would be going the hard way, but if she went the easy way she wouldn't be able to do much.

Alright, let's do this the hard way. she thought to herself as she brought up her menu and carefully starred the message in her message box. Pursing her lips, she tilted her head and gave the interface a blank stare. With a huff, she squared her shoulders and turned around to face towards where she thought the guild hall was. Rubbing her face, Rye started down the street and forced her way through the multitudes of players and NPCs that were lining the roads.

Now, if she could recall where it was.. Oh, there it was! Determinedly striding towards the brick-lined building, Rye shoved her way through the many people to try to at least get towards it. After a good ten minutes, she found herself standing outside of the doors of the Guild Hall and giving it an apprehensive look. Let's do this. With a determined sigh, she pushed through the doors rather violently and glanced around to see if there were any large gatherings of people in the Tavern side.

And... there it was. Determinedly striding towards the table, with her tail lashing and ears twitching, she shoved her way through the people that were clearly not gathered around the table. "You called?" she drawled, sucking on her tongue and giving the guy at the head of the table a deadpan stare.

  3. *PING*

Mahlthor logs in after a short break to fetch his meat space body something to eat. He had been in game longer than he had intended, and the consequences built until it became unwise (and he became unable) to ignore them. "Alright, let's see what all I missed." He says to Hebineko, who chitters an otter's response to the man between clunks of his ever shut clam shell.

Pulling up him palm menu thing, he notes a flashing red icon indicating he had a waiting messege. "I wonder who that's from?" He mulls aloud before opening it. "Oh, it's from Aaron. Let see what he has to say... 'Greetings'... 'calling all players'... looks like he's starting up that guild he's been talking about. Oh! Free beer? Hell yeah!" The man barely takes a moment's breath before heading off toward the indicated location.

It doesn't take him long to find the spot... he was familiar enough with the city by now to know where Aaron was talking about. Mahlthor grins, his infectious chuckle echoing against the brick outer wall as he pulls the door open. "Oi! Aaron!" he calls to the man, pausing as he approached. Standing before the man was a female felis, her tail whipping back and forth and her ears alight with life. "Friend of yours?" He asks, throwing a thumb in her general direction.

He turns to the felis. "The name is Mahlthor. Mahlthor Oakenheart. And you are...?" he asks, extending a large, meaty hand to shake. On his face he wears his trademark grin. Hebineko the sea otter swims in the air around his shoulders, and Mothra, the tiny moth, poke shis furry face out from Mahlthor's golden locks. "Oh, right, and these two are Hebineko, and Mothra. Say hi you two, don't be shy..." The two would chitter together, and like small children, quickly scurry to hide behind the large man, who chuckles at their response. "Forgive them.. they are still shy around strangers."

  4. Akino had been centered in Stokbon for a decent while now. It all started when he began his training with Shifu Dempsey, learning what he could from her and her hand-to-hand combat skills, and the sweet little Axolotl she kept as company. Being a city boy, the boom and hustle of Stokbon instantly struck him as familiar; the fact that he could remain close to his Shifu while staying in a familiar setting was just a bonus. So Stokbon is where Akino kicked around, and it was where he was wandering about now. Dempsey had released him from his training for the time being, leaving him free to explore the brick-and-stone kingdom at his leisure. Though it wasn't really up to him, not in truth. It was up to Ju-ju, the little panda pom scamp. He was racing about the streets, dodging under peoples feet and upsetting larger animals. He even tripped one guy wheeling a barrel of cabbages, who slipped and watched his cart fall over.

"My cabbages!" The bearded fellow cried, while Akino raced past with a laugh. Cabbages could be replaced after all.

    "Oh, what's this?"
The notification icon on his messenger system was glowing, and it was enough to cause the felis to cut his chase short. Issuing a sharp whistle, Ju-ju stopped in his tracks and began to run back to his side, while fingers pulled open the mass message. It was his friend-o, Steele, who had finally gotten together enough gumption to start up his guild. He had already pledged to help the guy out, loving to help people and do right by others. Reading the words aloud for both Ju-ju and him to hear, they looked at one another at the end of the speech. It was pretty, well decorated with honorable points like Valor and Heroics. Smiling at his panda-pup friend, he ruffles the critter's fluffy ears as he offered a rhetorical question.

    "Shall we head on over?"

His furry friend gave a small yip, and Akino nodded in response. Lifting the bugger up onto his shoulder, where it sat chewing on its bamboo chute peacefully, he made his way over to the Guild Hall, quick as can be. It was crowded with all the new guild-folk rushing about, but none of them were people he recognized. Then he spotted Steel and Mahlthor, and another felis whom he did not know. Most importantly, he spotted Mothra and Hebineko! Ju-ju gave a squeal of delight, hopping off his redhaired companion and racing over to the table, which he climbed with great effort and little paws. Seating himself before Mahlthor and his own pets, the little bear beastie began making noises at the other critters. The redhead followed in his fuzzball's wake, laughing as he approached the table, seeing a few spilled beers on the way.

"Heyo, guys! I'm here! Hope I didn't miss the party. Oakenheart, Steele. Glad you finally put this together, I've been looking forward to it!" Greeting the familiar faces and taking a seat at the table across from Steele, one of his hands reach out to ruffle Ju-ju between the ears, who's eyes went half-lid as he cooed in delight. Looking up at the other felis, he introduced himself with a bright smile.

"Hey there, name's Akino. Nice to meet you! Come on out to join us? I hear we are going to have a large crowd, sooner or later. So you like helping people, do you?" It was not a rhetorical question, he was genuinely curious what had brought this lass out here, and why she looked so uninterested to be at a guild meet up.

  5. Eyes shifting from the warmth of the fire upon the newcome. As he sat there sipping at his beer, he'd lean on one arm and motion with his cup hand with the other, "Yes, please take a seat. Enjoy a cold one. The food will be here shortly, I'll await a few others to show before begining this session. Not sure how many actaully got this message let alone will show up." he'd say attention shifting back towards the fires; how they dances telling a story either he was getting drunk or he'd been here long enough to immerse himself in the glory that was Terrasphere. Either way he was happily sitting there for a few more seconds before turning once more, "So I'm Aaron Steel as you could have guess, who might you be?" he'd ask curiously @Rye Emerson hoping to spark a bit of banter between them.

As they sat and talked briefly it would be interupted by another a faint smile passing as he heard the male's voice, rasing a hand real quick he'd ask for a moment as he gut up and gave the male a proper greeting, a chest bump followed by a bear hug and a hardy chuckle. His hands patting his back he'd nod, "Yes, yes another brave soul answering the call. You'd swear Tyl has touched all your hearts; bringing you forth to become those heroes of Justice" he'd say chuckling offering for him to join; taking no time to stop and introduce himself already. A faint smile passed as he heard the pets name, "Nice, I'll introduce you all to Umbreon later, he can be a handful." @Mahlthor Oakenheart He'd say as he turned to sit with them; but only briefly as he soon heard another voice appearing not to far off.

His eyes lighting up as his attention shifted. "Ahhh Akino, Come, come meet our new friend Rye, she'd a cutie huh. Don't let that fool you. This Cat got claws, Meow..." he'd say chuckling to himself as he continued to drink. "There, I think we got everyone right, how many more would join us after all. I'm not that popular." he said jokingly as he turned to hear the question and hopefully answer the female had prepared to respond with if at all. "It's alright if your a bit shy, a hero speaks with actions not words. You showing up already told me what I need to know, I'm sure Akino is just trying to flirt." he said laughing more, teasing the two as he leaned back some. "So I need just two others to help found the guild I think Strategically @Akino Kokoro Ame or Mahlthor might be best for one, a female of another race for another."

Taking a big gulp he'd continue "Prove we are diverse and open to equality. Not to mention, give Rye a chance to step up and prove to us her dedication. I'm not saying only founders can be part of the council. But it might help to start working on that." smiling he'd slap his forehead, "Of course you two need to rock paper scissor for it. I'll meet the winner over with Rye; Of course I'll be paying for the entire ordeal. They just require a power split for the creation for folks to feel more at east within them; not such a dictatorship." he'd say nodding before pointint to Akino, "You should definately consider my offer earlier about being our entertainment guy. Speaking of which if anyone shows up while we are registering, entertain them. That's your goal buddy."

  6. The message appeared on her account before she even logged in. Sitting upon her notifications, the message stayed unopen and waiting for the owner of the account to log in, almost like a predator waiting for the prey to come and pounce upon. Fortunately, it didn't have to wait long as around ten minutes later, she would appear in the virtual world ready to enjoy her time here once more. Sure enough just as she opened her eyes the notification immediately caught her attention as her eyes trailed to the small message button. She found herself staring at the message posted by a person known as Aaron Steele. His message spoke of a guild that he was creating, potentially known as Heroes of Falderen. Immediately it had piqued her interest. Augusta had planned on joining a guild, although she would have thought it would be later considering she had only recently created her account and registered. Hopefully, they would allow a noob like her to join the guild. Fortunately, she had spawned in Stokbon due to it being the last place she had last logged out of. A guild, new people, food, beer and the fact it was so close by gave her no reason not to attend. Although the possibility that they would reject her still hung in the air it didn't hurt to try at all. Best case scenario, they would allow her to join the guild. Even if they didn't, there was going to be free food anyway.

Using the map marker in order to find her way to the Guild Hall, the Faerin would stroll down the streets of Stokbon, a light spring in her steps. Excitement rushed through her veins, this would be a chance for her to join a guild and the idea of doing so was exciting. It wasn't long before she finally arrived, allowing the warmth of the tavern to embrace her. She quickly learned that there were a few people in the Tavern, two felis and humans. With a wide smile on her face, Augusta made her way into the table they were congregated upon. "Hey!" She called out. "I saw a message by an Aaron Steele in the search groups for guilds. Any of you all him?" Making herself at home, she took a seat before she pointed a finger at her chest. "I'm Augusta Akker. I recently made a character here, I hope you don't mind super noobs here. Please to make your acquaintance though." One may have found it intimidating due to the fact they were in a room with those who had been players here longer than she was, however, Augusta simply found this entire situation natural for her. "Don't worry I'm not here just for the free food and beer, although that is a bonus. But I've been thinking about joining a guild and I have to say. Your idea of a guild has got my eye here, the idea of becoming a hero appeals to me." Her eyes flickered towards the beer that laid upon the table they sat around. "Mind if I take one?" She asked, hand reaching outwards towards the drink regardless of the answer. She would begin to sip on the alcoholic beverage before asking the others in an effort to start a conversation, "You all interested in being heroes as well?"

  7. profile

Amane hadn't really considered joining a guild any time soon — maybe it was just Dempsey's own reluctance influencing her opinions, but the felis had wanted to wait it all out, and then join whichever seemed the most beneficial. But she was starting to realise that while that might work for the veteran player, whose high stats alone should guarantee that she'll have the prime pick of all the guilds, Amane wasn't anywhere near that level, even if she wasn't a complete newbie. Her gear was the peak of what the best crafters in Terra Sphere could create, and it showed, but she knew her masteries left something to be desired. Too much farming and too little actual questing did that to you.

She'll be lying if she claimed that was the only reason though. Truth be told, she was getting a bit too engrossed and immersed in the realism of the game. Gradually she found herself veering towards the more virtuous quests, picking those that allowed for her to do good deeds rather than earn the most gold, basking in the thanks and gratitude that followed. It wasn't as if she thought of the NPCs as real people or anything, but they certainly felt like actual players, and sometimes she legitimately couldn't differentiate between the two. Being acclaimed, even by virtual people felt like a taste of everything that she came to Terra Sphere in the first place to try and achieve.

So the message that appeared as she strolled through the streets of Stokbon held a certain level of appeal, and being a hero in particular sounded impossibly enticing. It wouldn't hurt to join, I suppose? Amane reasoned. If I don't like it, or if I find another guild I'd rather be in instead, it's not like I lack the gold to simply quit. Such a ambivalent attitude towards what should be a big commitment didn't sit very right with her, but it felt reassuring to know that, worse came to worse, she could still change her mind. Swiping up her interface, with a few clicks she'd open a direct chat with the the supposed Aaron Steele.

Your guild sounds pretty cool, nice plans and all! I'll find you at the hall if you'll accept me~

Reaching the Guild Hall wasn't particularly difficult — Amane had been in Stokbon many a times over the past few days of the game, to buy both equipment, and the more basic necessities like food, or a room to stay in for the night. She was pleasantly surprised to see quite a few players gather at the location, drinking beer and chatting, all of them clearly there for the same reason she was. Either Aaron Steele was a veteran, a high levelled player, or a popular one. Or all three, she conceded, though the first is a bit unlikely. She hadn't seen hide of him in the last world boss, so he had probably joined after.

Approaching the crowd, she caught the end of what a white haired Velten said as she snagged a bottle for herself, sipping on it as she spoke. "I'm interested in being one," Amane interjected, slipping beside the group of players. "What's this guild going to be about though, in the more practical sense? Like, how often will guild missions be ran, and are we competing in raids and world bosses? Ah," she broke off, grinning sheepishly, "My name's Amane, and I'm a Sorceress (kind of). Nice to meet you all!"

  8. First would enter in @Akino Kokoro Ame and Ju-ju, eliciting a smile from Mahlthor and excitable chattering from Mothra and Hebineko. The latter of the two would swim off in Ju-ju's direction, holding out his clam shell for the panda pom to see before smacking it roughly on the tavern floor. Mothra, on the other hand, would leave his burrow of hair and flit down to Ju-ju's nose, delicately landing on it with the lightness of foot only a moth could accomplish. "Oh, hey, 'Punchy kitty'," the man jests, recalling the moniker the felis had been given at an earlier time with a different set of players, "How have you and Ju-ju been?"

As @Aaron Steele lays out the plan for guild formation, the man nods to his comrade. "Diversity is a good thing to exhibit, too." He reaches down for a mug of the fresh ale, and takes a hearty swig of the brown liquid. "Where do we need to go to sign up, by the way? Just point me in the right direction!"

The next prospective guild mate to enter would be @Augusta Akker, a Faerin Mahlthor would note. And not one too terribly newer than I... he adds mentally. He holds out a hand with a mischievous grin, one that wouldn't fool anybody. "Yeah, that's me. I'm Aaron. Nice to meet you!" His trademark laugh would follow. "No, I'm just joking. I'm Mahlthor Oakenheart. Steele is this fine gentleman over here." He motions to Aaron. "Nice to meet you, Augusta Akker! You are in luck... I am a newbie too!" he indicates himself as the subject of his statement.

It isn't long before @Amane Hirota also joins the group. "Hello, Amane. I'm Mahlthor Oakenheart. I'll defer to our Guildmaster for more information concerning your questions, but yes, I do believe we will be competing in raids, world bosses, and I believe the intention is to run missions as often as is feasibly possible." He turns looking in askance to Aaron.

  9. "Hey you guys there! Halt!!" A City guard called out at Weissman and the group of orphans he had taken a liking to. Upon their backs were small bags of food and supplies to feed their growing numbers. Of course they would need some place new to live and Xavier was rather determined to see them housed properly. If there was one thing that reached his Sociopath heart it was children for they reminded him of himself. A large grin crossed his lips as he gave a light whistle signalling for them to split up. Sure maybe there were a lot of guards on their tails but not all of the guards were small enough to fit in the get away routes. This is where they won their fight!

Upon his whistle many of the kids went left and right, the two oldest ones stuck with Weissman in going over the bridge. "Dammit! Don't lose them!!" Irritation was clearly audible in the Captain's voice as he did his best to try and catch up with the group. Yet Weissman had another trick up his sleeve as they made their way towards the slum sections. Opening the bag he carried he had stowed some extra food to which he threw to the ground in the center. "Food! Come get your food!!" He cried out as the people came rushing in behind them providing more room for escape. A frustrated howl left the Captain's lips as he lost sight of his chase.

A roll of laughter left the trio's lips as he took them back home to meet up with the rest of the orphans. Setting the bag down he even took some medicine for the newest of the group who was sick. Perhaps Aaron might be able to help these guys? Perhaps not.. The man was all about being a Hero.. He would surely scold them for such conduct but Weissman did not expect him to understand the rules to their jungle. Speaking of the Devil, a notification had popped up in his mail box during their run. Flipping his palm upward he opened the message with a impassive expression.

At first he was going to smile, then his mouth worked into a frown then back to an impassive expression. He did not know much about emotions but how he felt about this was Empty as always. The normal person might have jumped for joy or defeat at the idea. Xavier did not house much room for the abundance of a feeling. Closing the menu he squatted down and smiled for these orphans here were his joy and relatives for blood meant nothing compared to the struggle. "Remember.. Keep your heads low, and practice your whistling and pickpocket work. We stand united and we look to take care of our own.. Now distribute the food and see to it that everyone is fed. I will be back tonight for a bed time story!" His words seemed to spark a fire of hunger and desire in the eyes of all those NPC's who listened to him. Each offered him an hug to which he accepted before getting up and heading out.

Quickly taking the garb off of his head he shook out his dreads and let the pigment less hair fall down his back. Crimson eyes gazed onward towards the Guild Hall with a lack of life behind the iris. It was time for him to make a choice, and made a choice he did. Pushing the doors open he observed a crowd of people already crowded around Steele's position. Two females one being a felis and two new males he had never seen before. Likewise he was someone that only Steele had met in a single sitting. Striding over to the table he was quick to grab up a plate and a good amount of steak to put on his plate. Moving over to the nearest open seat he gave Steele a small salute before shoving some food into his mouth with manners. Xavier did not like having to use a fork, but he did not mind using his dagger to cut the pieces into smaller bite sizes. "Sorry I am late Steele and everyone else..?" The apology came off rather jumbled by a confused person who did not know whether or not to call them guests of friends.. Who the hell were they anyways? Oh right! Introductions!!

Standing up abruptly he had nearly forgotten about having some manners. "The names Xavier K. Weissman.. A pleasure.. I nearly forgot all of my manners for a second." Taking his seat once more he went back to eating.

  10. Rye smiled briefly at Aaron's enthusiasm for starting the guild, before nodding and engaging him in light conversation until the next couple of people started to trickle in. Tail flicking idly behind her, she firmly grasped the hand of @Mahlthor Oakenheart and gave it a good shake. "Rye Emerson," she drawled out, the faint hint of a demur within it. "Pleasure." After a few moments, another female player came in and just started jabbering away.

When @Akino Kokoro Ame asked her the question, Rye tilted her head briefly and let her ears flick every which way for a moment. "It's an interesting prospect, learning who wants to be heroes or not. Me? Now I just like helping people out." Rye narrowed her emerald eyes at the other woman, before absently flicking her eyes over the entrance of the Guild Hall with a faintly interested expression.

As more people filtered in and grabbed a beer or a plate of food, Rye found herself adhering to their whims and picked up a plate of food that looked slightly healthier than what she was seeing. Another faint flick of her eyes had the felis snag a beer and eye it curiously. The 23 year old hadn't really tasted beer before, but there was a first time for anything. Popping off the cap, Rye flicked her tail gently and savored the meal in front of her.

It was a burst of flavors across her tongue, each faint flicker of the ears and tail letting her know that this virtual reality was much different from the other games. A brief purr of contentment escaped her as she watched the others banter, merely content with just watching the others. If someone would talk to her, she would be more than happy to engage in light conversation.

  11. After the words had left her lips, she would immediately receive an answer but rather a newcomer who had just arrived upon the scene, a Felis who had just introduced herself as Amane. Another mage type character, it was nice to see that she wasn't the only magic user around here considering the fact another truly magical based character was rare as most others were either hybrids or simply warriors. As she opened her mouth to speak Augusta found an unfamiliar sensation coursing through her body. She felt a bit light-headed and her brain was fogging up quickly. Was this what it was like to become drunk? She had never even tasted alcohol before until that day. Was it even possible to become drunk in this world? Allowing herself open her mouth once more, she took careful notice in her choice of words. "No clue how this guild works," She said with a slight laugh. Extending out her hand to @Amane Hirota she gave another wide grin in her direction. "Nice to meet you Amane. It's great to see more magic users out here. The name's Augusta Akker." Placing down her half empty mug of beer on the table, she would continue to speak. "What's your motivation if you don't mind me asking. I know you want to become a hero, but don't we all?"

The Faerin would continue as a human would begin to introduce himself as Aaron. However, before she would even have the time to issue a greeting and thanks to "Aaron" he would immediately take back his statement and simply introduce @Mahlthor Oakenheart. He would also issue another breath of fresh as the air he told her that he was rather new at this game as well. She gave another chuckle before flashing an easy-going smile upon her face. "Well then nice to meet you Mahlthor. I guess I feel more reassured now that I know that I'm not the only newbie here. Hopefully, we won't screw up on our first day here." Upon the final phrase, while the tone of her voice made it clear she was primarily joking, she was also serious as well. While Augusta was unwilling to admit this fact both to herself or others, the butterflies in her stomach told her she was not completely sure of herself. It was as her inner voice was telling her that she would not be performing her best despite the fact the rational part of her mind had said so otherwise.

Once again it was only a matter of time before another new person had arrived and had taken a platter of food for himself. "Hello Xavier," she greeted @Weissman attempting to chase away the sensation she felt. "Want to be a hero as well?" Pausing for a moment, Augusta took one more swig of the mug in front of her before she continued. "I guess that is a rather obsolete question considering that's what everyone here is for. But maybe the question is, how far would one go to become a hero." As she spoke the question aloud the same thought raced through her head. What was her motivation for becoming a hero? She had just joined the game and barely even had much of a goal or motivation other than progressing further. The idea of becoming a hero was simply a new idea in the pool of motivations she had in this world. For now, the Faerin would continue to ponder upon this question she asked herself while she would also continue to continue in her conversations with the other players.

    @Rye Emerson @Aaron Steele @Akino Kokoro Ame

  12. "Hey, I'm followin' your lead boss. I do like the idea of helping spread merriment though... So heck, I'll take the position. Just say the word and I'll do the thing, signing or sending or what-not. In the meantime, I'll start practicing for the gig now." @Aaron Steele

Turning to face Oakenheart, he began to speak about Ju-ju, the cutie who was trying to fly too. Not possible, of course.

"I've learned he's a real trouble maker. Such spirit. I love it! How have you, Mothra, and lil' Habenero been getting along?" @Mahlthor Oakenheart

While Mahl and him spoke briefly, Ju-ju and the pets played on. The little panda critter reached up to paw lightly at mothra, before falling onto his back in an attempt to stand up. Giving it a second shot, he leaps up into the air, and lands on a plate, which went flying end-over-end, steak and all. As if to emphasize what was said earlier. It was enough to interrupt Akino's explanation of what they had been up to, he had been speaking about his training with Dempsey, and he began to laugh.

Recovering from his tears, Rye's profound response caught his attention and sobered him some. Tilting an ear to his fellow felis, he felt a burning smile overtake his marked features, golden eyes gleaming with excitement. For Akino's part, he could give less than two sways of his tail about being a Hero. This Emerson lass though, she had the right idea. Helping people, that is what matters in life. At least, that's the most important thing to a truly good person. It was truly good to hear that someone else was here to help, and not for glory. Similar to Amane, the felis had long ago stopped distinguishing between NPC and Person. The Artificial Intelligence was so well-developed that the way they thought, spoke, and lived was almost identical to people in every way. He'd even noticed a few Adventurers running about with non-linear NPCs. Heck, he even helped an family of them rebuild their farm, which had been torched by some source or another. The fact that you could find their corpses rotting in a ditch later in the game didn't hurt the do-gooder mentality either. After all, who wanted to worry over something like innocents dying because you passed them by. Because they were just NPCs.

"Helping a stranger for no reason other than it being right? One of truest pleasures of life. Being a hero is over-rated if you ask me. Being a good person is far more important." @Rye Emerson

The words were issued not to just Rye, but to those who had joined them most recently, three fresh faces filled with expectations, excluding Xavier. Looking over Augusta, Xavier, and Amane in one quick glance, he knew each would fit into the guild in their own individualistic way! Offering a quick bow of his head, not bothering to rise from his seat across from Steele, the redhead pressed a fist to his chest in greeting, before exclaiming the introduction itself.

"Name's Akino! If you need any help or got any questions, you can direct them towards your's truly. Well, you could direct them towards anyone, but I'd love to help. We're going to get to work setting up some missions soon as can be, just a matter of making it all official and what not. In the meantime, you newer players can always take advantage of us more somewhat more experienced ones! Information, quest support, just say the word! Oh, Augusta? Does a hero ever really think about being one? A hero doesn't weigh out decisions, judging which would bring them closer to glory. A hero is someone who responds to the call of those in need! I'm not one for titles, but you're heroes to Steele already, for answering his call." @Augusta Akker @Amane Hirota @Weissman

Ju-ju, the little panda-pup bugger, emphasized his words with a bit of a squeal, hopping up onto Akino's shoulder, and then head, so as to get better height in his playful chase of Mothra and Hebineko. He mussed the man's hair real nice, throwing crimson locks all over and causing his ears to twitch about with each paw-some kick. Apparently the marked warrior did not mind being used as a climbing post by the panda pom, tail whipping about rapidly as he waited for the newcomers' reaction to his words. He chewed on some sweet meat and eyed Augusta specifically, since it was her question he had added his two cents onto.

"Oh yeah, forgot to say- Welcome!" He added on the last bit as an after-thought, beaming at each of them in turn with his cat's grin.

  13. Zaos had been interested in the guild system since joining, but he had nowhere near enough gold to even consider starting his own. Not that he really wanted to, since running his company outside the game took up enough of his time without adding similar responsibilities in-game. So he was quite pleased when the message appeared in his notifications. The message itself made him roll his eyes - it spoke of heroes and of protecting Falderen, of valor and unity. It was a very roleplay-like message, although the guild itself didn't appear to be a roleplaying organization. The Faerin had no interest in being a hero, but that didn't mean he was going to become a villain. He was particularly intrigued by the implication that trade-oriented members such as himself would have a place in the guild.

After a little thought, he decided to at least check out the gathering. Leaving his goblin in the inn room he had rented, he ventured out onto the busy streets of Stokbon and used his map to guide him to the Guild Hall. The streets were filled with players and NPCs alike, but Zaos used his small stature to slip through the crowd with relative ease. A vendor was loading his cabbages back onto his overturned cart which was blocking traffic, and the Faerin paused to help clean up the mess, the task taking him only a few minutes. The bearded vendor thanked him profusely and rewarded him with several gold pieces before going on his way; Zaos resuming his walk towards the Guild Hall.

Foot traffic seemed to increase the closer he got to the building, but he wormed his way through the crush, finally entering the hall. It didn't take him long to locate the meeting spot, and he was surprised to see several people crowded around a table. Walking over, he slipped into the group and found and empty stool, scrambling onto it so he had a good view of those around him. He was surprised to see @Rye Emerson there, and gave her a smile once he caught her eye.

Zaos had arrived in time to hear the explanation about the guild from @Akino Kokoro Ame. It was more stuff about what it meant to be a hero, which told him that any contrary opinions about the subject would best be kept to himself. In the pause that followed, Zaos spoke. "Thank you for the warm welcome, Akino. I'm Zaos Rocyne, and I'm interesting in helping support the guild members to the best of my abilities."

  14. A somewhat vexed smile crossed the Weiss's lips as he listened to the people talk about what it meant to be a hero. The thought vexed him deeply because in truth he had no emotional tie to such a title. He didn't dream of anything besides blankets and when the REM cycle kicked in, the brain only showed reruns of the past haunts. The flavor of the steak seemed to run dry as he thought harder upon the topic to try and formulate an answer. Yet the answer was so simple and sweet to his ears he had to share it. Albeit that Akino's response was perfect and the newly arriving Zaos seem to only wish to be a background player and support their dreams. Thus without further pause when all was said and done, Xavier turned to look first at Zaos.

"A pleasure to meet you Zaos.. Now as for you Ms. Akker. I've never dreamed of becoming a hero or even had anything remote to an emotional tie to justice.. What I know and feel is that, by doing this I stand a chance at providing for the orphans I have found here. For they remind me of my self and while it is Summer the Winter is Coming.. Death for them is like death for any human species outside of Terra.. Game or not such a reality check sways me to stand as a provider.. I joined here because I like to kill things as well, it's indeed quite pleasurable and if Hell were my birthplace I'd happily be Lucifer himself." Leaning forward as he spoke he placed his dagger upon the table point first.

"I come to kill Player Killers.. Because every nightmare deserves a Phantasm do they not?" A rather impassive expression held his face in check as he sat down and began eating once more. The thought of a hero now had a bad flavor in his mouth. An at the same time people would understand fully where he stood in the whole line of up things. There would be no 'God save the Queen' here oh no.. The Queen was too busy kicking ass on the front lines he was just the Harbinger sent to mop up those who stepped out of fucking line.

"Other then that, I find all of your ideals very valid and worth fighting for options. We all just have our own reasons.. If you find any wanted posters for my arrest for stealing to feed the orphans by all means.. Tear it down.. It's too early in the game to start killing NPC's and other players for doing what's simply human. Before you ask.. The orphanage is at capacity.. Dearest Rye I like your tail and ears they suit you well. Stay awesome as I think you to be." As he spoke he got up to grab more food and came back with a large pint of Ale to wash it all down with in the end game. This was Weissman and so he would be.

  15. After taking the others with him and setting up the guild making it official he'd grin wide and give a few high fives. It wouldn't be long before he'd soon return to the group and sat down. Sipping on some beer and grinning wide as the scent of food soon filled the room; it was growing closer and closer. How exciting things were becoming as he was prepared to start up their conversation he'd soon notice a female @Augusta Akker enter the area and join their banter. Arching a brow he'd smile, she was quite the looker and a blonde normally his type, well any was his type yet his heart had belonged to another so he'd take a deep breath and not let the liquor get ahead of him. First impressions and all, "Hey, welcome. Not at all, a pleasure to meet you Augusta Akker, I'm Aaron, Aaron Steele. We don't mind so called noobs, actually, we encourage them. We all start somewhere, besides what kind of player as rich as me runs around in trash tier clothing right? A hero, one who puts others before themselves. At least that's what I'm hoping to attract, seems that way so far. The point of the guild is to be a hero, help this world, help those in need, not just the NPC but players as well. We want all to aspire to walk our path and keep this world just." he'd say sipping his beer, "But most importantly we want to enjoy ourselves and have fun doing so."

Drinking a bit more beer he'd continue his banter some listening and nodding his head, "Glad it caught your attention, I find it most interesting when like minded folks get together. My hope was if I spent the gold to build it they would come, removing any burden on my members to pay for it. Left yall a bit more coin in your pockets for gear. I plan on sorting that out for yall as well. Got a few connections I need to get in contact with. But I should be able to get you all geared up for around five hundred gold a piece, if not less. None the less, today about eating drinking and having fun. So drink up, the first round is on me food should be on its way." he'd say with a big grin, the feeling of satisfaction soon filling his being. As he heard her words to another he'd read the message from @Amane Hirota "Oh....." he'd say smiling as he hit the reply button, with a Smiley face and thumbs up. As they banter proceeded he'd be set up with a question from the others, miss Hirota appearing sooner than later. "Right on time, well the guild itself will meet twice a month to run dungeons probably at the begining and middle giving us about a week or two inbetween to grind and prepare, I heard world bosses appear every so often so we'll need to be on our A game."

Taking a big sip he'd part his lips, "My goal is to get us a total of 1000 influence points minimum to unlock the flag banners. This will help us in the long run. Especially with world bosses. I was hoping that we could also get a few of the flags for missions and such. I'd like full participation in guild events and to host rewards as such for passing missions and what have you. I'll set up a donation page to help get folks underway if they need to help contribute to our events, crafters and so forth. I'll worry about that again later, but for tonight, chat up. Enjoy and wear your new title with honor. Oh and Amane Hirota, it is a pleasure to meet you; I'm glad you're giving our guild a try." he'd say sending out the [VALOR] tag to all who would join the guild. A warm smile passed as he then saw @Xavier Weissman arrive at the scene, "Xavier Baby, finally some life to this party." he'd tease as he got up and hugged his ally, "Long time no see, where is the depressed one?" He'd say bringing him over to sit, "Come come, join here, join the guild." it was clear Steele was getting a bit too happy; maybe it was the beer maybe it was the fact his dream was coming true.

As more and more people showed up his eyes filled up with tears of joy before the male parted his lips and finally broke down, "I LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH!" he'd shout grabbing the two closest to him as he squeezed tight @Akino Kokoro Ame and @Rye Emerson , "I wasn't expecting so many to show, let alone want to join. This is a dream come true, yall are too much. It warms my heart to feel such love, desire and good will in a room. Blessed be Tyl, for bringing me such great heroes of justice. Yes, let us have a toast, To UNITY, HEROISM and it's Guardians." he'd say with a big goofy grin. That was until the food came out by the plates full, "Finally, lets all dig in folks." he'd say grabbing a turkey leg and biting into it like a barbarian. Before laughing and swallowing what he had eaten, "Oh yeah...blah blah Elysid Court, thank you for such blessings and may your grace bless these fine folks before me...blah blah, Tyl I love you...now grub time." he'd say returning to his meal with a grin motioning the folks to eat before calling over a barmaid, "Please, love bring another round of drinks and here is 20 coin for your troubles. Bless you sweet provider." he'd say ripping into the leg.
