Personality
With her head low, Nalla pursues, like a hunter of prey. While some beasts hunt within stealth and with percision, this is not her fashion. Just as a pencil is no paintbrush, she is not subtle, nor is she elegant. Her actions and decisions are defined with sharp outline. To her, shadows are cast with deep indentations around their form, and boundaries are less ambiguous.
It is with a soft voice that she speaks her thoughts, but with a chaotic step that she acts them out. This is because to Nalla, words are nothing without action, and observation is nothing without implimentation. To wait is to be a bystander, while to act is to be a hero. At least, within her personal parameters of the term 'hero', which is a bit too ideal to be realistic.
She is an avid collector of books, and her inventory is constantly full of them. It is the idea of a storybook hero that intrigues her the most. To be one unphased, one unperturbed, one with motives elucidated in her own mind is her goal. But may the usage of 'pursues' be enphasized, as this image is not nearly perfect in any respect.
Strangely, a small cat with wispy fur can occasionally be seen walking close behind or beside Nalla, a blue cape resting upon it's back, and it's stride careful, as though watching over the girl.
Positive: Reticent, Perceptive, Protective

Biography
Traveling from Japan to New York during her college years wasn't a decision anyone of Niko's friends or family expected her to make, and it caught most of them off guard. The generally quiet, recluse girl left her connections behind, on a flight to the states. While still maintain regular communication with her parents, most of her already few friendships faded into backstory for her, losing all prevalence. Her life drifted into the monotony of an endless, silent metro ride.
Finishing up her school years in New York, she ended up without any substantial friends. It was not that she was unkind, rather her poor English and social anxiety kept her far from such common delicacies. This left her graduated, and without much to do. Finding a job at a retail store near her apartment, she soon became financially self sufficient, but remained emotionally deprived.
This deep set starvation for interaction was met with an answer when a strange email regarding information of a certain game came to her attention, and she soon found herself playing it whenever she was not working. Through the game, she had hoped to expand her social capabilities, and help reduce the drastic emotional deprivation she had incurred. And so she had, and through her character, she had made friends!
A few months after she began playing the game, she was met with a phone call, and informed that she must return home immediately. Leaving everything in her apartment, she hastily left her apartment in New York on a flight back to Japan. In this time away from the game, Niko discovered that nearly all of her friends from her childhood had forgotten her, or at least grown too different to be considered friends anymore. It became apparent to her that, in her brave and reckless journey over seas, there was much she had lost and not realized.
Fleeing from this realization, she escaped once more back to her isolation in the states, and to the game that would let her begin again, in a different world. And what are new beginnings, but the dream that we all repeatedly ponder? A dream of change.
