Avalon’s eyes widened in response to the slashing attack from the enemy causing damage to a huge portion of the forces fighting the boss, including herself. Given her recklessness in most of her previous attacks, it stood to reason that her HP would now be on the critical area. The rogue winced from all the pain coursing through her body thanks to the realistic pain setting she chose to make use of when fiddling with the game settings that allowed customization. Regardless of the damage received Avalon was still alive and kicking – she continued on with a relentless series of attacks against the Mycolossus while trying her best to keep advantageous positioning. Eventually the fungal boss’s health bar depleted and the colossal monster fell to the ground, becoming nothing short of a huge edible mushroom.
Relief wafted the air in the battlefield as players and npcs alike could feel the stress of dealing with such a large scale battle. Avalon felt tired, but that didn’t mean she had to rest now – in her eyes, she was fine with pressing on if any threat had to be dealt with as long as she could still move. Her response was a simple shrug, followed by a few kicks to the meaty corpe of the Mycolossus – a shame she couldn’t make it feel the same world of pain she herself felt a few moments ago. With a disappointed mix of a shrug and a sigh the woman started cutting up large slabs of the earthy meat using her cinquedeas. The cuts were rough and crude, with very little experience to back them up, though if one were to consider the current state in which the Yladian elves were they had to either do it themselves or suck it up and accept what she had to offer them.
Avalon set down the slabs of meat she herself harvested from the monster near a large and increasing pile of similar material. At this point, she realized that @Luvi Nhivasi gave her a healing vial. “Thank you. I’ll make good use of it!” As soon as she thanked the Yladian, however, Avalon could feel her tense muscles relax as healing light mended her battered up body. She swiftly called her system menus, fiddling with it until she found @Ilusa Nakhalee and sent her a direct message.
Avalon
“Thanks for the heals!”
Avalon wanted to keep it short and thank every good deed done for her. She was a beginner, but if this game had so much depth and realism to it, she should start working on gathering information and craft a proper social network with people, starting from here. When said thought crossed her mind, Avalon realized she had yet to thank the support that helped her out in the middle of battle – and much to her surprise, @Solaria was very close to her current position. She reached out to the healer to try and help her with harvesting the myclossus’ meat.
“I didn’t get the chance to thank you back there in that hellish fight! Thanks, I owe you one- no, I owe you two for helping me out twice. ”
