Personality
Vanilla doesn’t normally bother acting her apparent age, nor does she take her own role very seriously (though she may try if pushed into it). She even goes as far as calling people twice her apparent age ‘kiddo.’ Ironically, Vanilla does avoid breaking the immersion of the game. Treating her like a child also doesn't really bother her, as long as it doesn't get in the way of her goals. This all leads to her character being just barely believable as an intelligent, mature, and quirky girl with a dubious upbringing.
Vanilla is usually very laid back and doesn't take things too seriously. One one hand, she's quick to lend an ear to problems and offer simple advise. On the other hand, she's also very quick to point out flaws in other people's arguments and does so bluntly, without much regard for their feelings. Vanilla also has a very professional side to her, which can show through when the situation calls for it.

Biography
Kayden was once an upstanding member of society. He went to school diligently, got high grades, and graduated university straight into a successful career in business. Things were looking up as he continued to climb the corporate ladder until that dreadful week everything changed.
In the same week, the product release he was charged with flopped, getting him fired, and he learned that his mother who he’d neglected the past year for work’s sake had died of a terminal illness. Ironically, even though he took their deaths hard, through the loss of both parents he inherited the family fortune, enabling him to goof around instead of looking for another job.
A few years later, and you have the Kayden of today, with no real ambitions or real-life goals. It was then that he received the invitation to Terrasphere. While he’d normally avoid large, online games, he signed up on a drunken whim, figuring there was nothing better to do. Hitting the randomize character button, he was met with the character he still uses today and accepted it "just for the lols."
