_____Every story had a beginning, While some might say this happen when you awoke and others when something new happened the fact remained the same. Kaede, despite not always admitting believe her story began the day she was born and every new event in her life was simply another chapter she had to overcome. A book that was still being written much like what was implied with her Corrupted grimoire. Despite likely being written long ago the pages often remained blank, only when she tried to channel her Astral magic into the blank pages did words or pictures show themselves in constantly changing form.
_____Like the future was often portrayed as a mystery until it came along so was the book’s details. Some words stay the same, some pictures have key landmarks, but never did she get a direct clue what was to come. However as a smirk crossed the face of the player trapped within the game’s face it seemed she did not mind such events. Sure, she spent the first few hours after finding out she was locked within the game boiled in rage, then drunk out of her own mind, and later consumed with ending her forced imprisonment… But now she simply saw one choice clear as day in her future and written on the front of her grimoire.

’Live’
_____The single word was powerful enough to stop her desire for death, the single word helped her see that every curse was a blessing you just have seen wrong so far. Some by now would ask what did any of this have to do with anything… Kaede followed the book’s hints, where it seemed to guide her she followed and tried her best to see what fate, what the future had in store for her. Sure it seemed odd, and not exactly someone you would tell someone you did but to Kaede it gave her reason.
_____Today was no different, she woke and like a few days before this one checked the pages of her book as she fed it energy and her Astral magic. She flipped the pages to find where it ended up and read what it had to say and if she was more lucky looked over the picture it showed. Anyone could likely feel the amount of annoyance she felt if they tried to read a page that enjoyed changing rather quickly most times. Thankfully she was given a picture today with a set of general landmarks she remembered, so with a flourished ‘clasp’ as she sealed the book Kaede began her somewhat long journey to the location she was told to go.
_____After a couple of hours traveling by foot, and some on a carriage with a lovely couple who offered to take her part of the way since they had to go the same direction Kaede found herself roughly where she was foretold to go. Hand rising over her eyes as she looked up at the large mushrooms and the sun that still found a way to hinder her vision. Moving her gaze back to the ground Kaede began walking the home of her chosen race while she unclipped her grimoire from her belt and began charging it with magic once more for the next clue.
_____A smile weesled itself onto her face once again as she recalled her last visit to this general area. Unlike most her recent trips to Yladia that ended with her fighting some monster or another her trip to the area with giant mushrooms was with her adoptive father in the game. He took her here to show her some of the older Yladian architecture and monuments, told her stories about the place and watched a rather wonderful sunset she wished could have been shared with her father from the real world also.
_____The thought of her father in the real world stole away the smile however, he was likely worried sick for her safety or worse morning her death. It was a dangerous thing to consider, with the fact she was locked from her UI it did not escape her mind that one possible reason was she died in the real world during her last death. Though as she seemed to gently grope the air recalling the better details of when she died it did not pain her as much. Focus snapping back to reality as Kaede’s grimoire glowed and she began to search the pages.

”So… higher ground is one thing… another person sitting on the edge of one of thousands of shrooms in this section of the area alone… and for all I know they could be in a different patch of land then I'm in… I think my father said there was about sixty different clusters…”
Kaede sighed Lightly as she sealed her book once more, satcheled it against her waist and began to climb the nearest hill to get atop a shroom as she overlooked the area.
”No point in wasting to much time considering the probability, this is what the future seemed to say i was to do next so, ...Off we go.~”
_____Her smile returning as Kaede got a running start and leaped to the next mushroom top and kept her eyes peeled. She was supposed to meet somebody, she just had to find them and searching was the first step to do such. Frame holding her book and pack steady as she jumped another gap and picked up the pace slowly as she got more attuned with the area. What she was not expecting however, was not finding said person until later in the night and not exactly in the most common fashion.
_____Her long trip had worn her down, and all the jumping eventually strained her legs to tell her mind it was time to walk only if she wanted to keep moving. Her book gave no further hints when she tried to check it along her trip and she did not exactly pack for an overnight stay in the wild. Sure she could likely make due if she needed to but thankfully the person she was searching for had indirectly found her.
_____Kaede’s legs had started to give out when it happen, a sudden change that was despite what it seemed like welcomed. While passing under another mushroom she was unsure if she had seen before or not she felt something overhead. At first she almost thought it was something drooling on her but with a quick pat on her head and a gaze upward she found a pair of legs dangling over the cap’s edge and her scalp dry thankfully.

”While I am unsure if you had been expecting company it seems fate would have such. Would you mind if I joined you up there, or if you could come down so I don’t strain my neck about as much as I have strained my legs so far today with all the walking and jumping to get here?”
