At this point, Zelrius wasn't exactly feeling like much of a king of anything, other than horribly embarassing himself, maybe. Truth was, he couldn't tell; sounds and colours slowly began to blend together and he kept hearing Claire's words echo in his mind, though their exact content wasn't easily discernible above just sounds and the image of water. His body was screaming for it, the constant draining of the mugs being quite abusive on his virtual functions, and the water meter in his menu draining more and more with each mug he drank. Emerath had wandered into the festival, lost at first, but quickly he was pushed to what appeared to be the biggest attraction. A tent full of people drinking. Ah, what a life. Emerath played with his cuffs, before rolling up his sleeves, as none other than the "Hero of Eastwatch", as Emerath knew him, challenged him to the drinking contest. 'What a way to introduce myself.' he thought as he sat across from the man and mugs were placed in front of them. Emerath gave a chuckle as he took a drink from the mug, suddenly remembering why alcohol was not his favorite thing to partake in. But he knew if he started, it would progressively get better. Either that or he'd pass out. Whichever came first. Time to see which of these men was stronger willed. He'd just have to remind himself to properly introduce himself later, when they weren't both getting drunk off their asses.
