Combine that with his friendly attitude and you get a recipe for making friends. Arthur is stubborn and short-sighted, always looking just one step ahead and refusing to budge once his mind is set, although this stubbornness makes him quite the hard-worker once set off. Arthur also has a very bad habit of prying into matters that are better left unsaid although this is mostly driven by good intentions and curiosity. He was the third oldest of seven siblings, yet he never felt lonely thanks to his compassionate family. Ever since he was a child he was always fabricated by the heroes in the fantasy books. How effortless they always made the grandest tasks seem like child's play. He wanted to be like those heroes in those fantasy tales. However Arthur's fate was not to be a hero but, a simple farmer. Life slowly started to get harder for the Oakley family when Arthur turned twelve. Not a week had past since his father had came down with a virus but over the course of the week things had went downhill and Arthur's father died. The workload on the Oakley family increased with the head of the family now dead. Arthur continued to slave away at the farm in order to support his family. Arthur thought that this was to be his fate. His mother suddenly caught an illness and Arthur and his siblings have been working fanatically in order to pay for medicine. Yet they all knew that the medical costs and upkeep would put them in debt. Arthur pushed himself each and everyday as he slaved away in the fields. That was until an idea struck him. The inspiration came from the travelers who would travel from across the continent to go to Orario. He had to become a 'Dungeon Delver'. Although some of his desire was mixed into the wish it didn't mean he wanted to do it for entirely selfish reasons. Knowing that his family would never accept such a dangerous proposal he didn't tell them. Instead he left them a note saying that he was off to Orario to earn some money. This skill while not outright slow, is not very fast which lets faster opponents have an easier time against this skill. Stubborn As A Bull (Active | Empower): You know the old saying 'stubborn as a bull', well Arthur takes this saying to heart. Throughout his teenage years Arthur was always slaving away at the farm trying to get a surplus of crops. Though the goal fell short, the effort did not go unrewarded. When severely damaged in battle Arthur is able to ignore all damage (pain-wise) received and perform a single attack with all his strength. After performing this attack Arthur collapses from exhaustion unable to move (for one post). This skill can only be performed once per thread. Magic: To be acquired Equipment Weapons: Hillvard's Halberd: Before sneaking out of the village, he managed to convince the residual blacksmith, Hillvard, to give him a weapon and so he gave him a halberd. The halberd is 182 centimeters (5'11.6") in length. Its blade is coated black on the outermost part while the innermost part is coated a golden hue. Although it remained in a basement for years, the two handed halberd is still of decent quality. Armors: Worn Leather Chest Plate: The chest plate was left over to him by his father who stashed it away in the cellar. It used to be part of a full set of leather armor, only for everything besides the chest plate to be rendered unusable. The tan leather chest plate goes down to Arthur's waist providing adequate protection to his torso.
