    Personality

    Amiraak is the kind of person who had to quickly learn how to rely upon himself. The natural Boaz instinct to seek solitude drove the boy to improve upon himself away from the debilitating trappings of family and society. Because of this he tends to put little faith in those around him and even less in their opinions or their supposed 'skills'. This is not to say he does not get along with others, as he has little qualm about working in a group to overcome numerous problems or great danger. Just do not expect him to take you seriously when you say you have got his back. Even worse is when he must seek the aid of another to solve a problem or task that he himself can not, proving (in his eyes) that he is still weak. Even just the fact that adventurers, himself included, have to rely upon a 'god' to progress is galling to him.

    When seen around town many people would say Amiraak appears rough and intense His discomfort and inability to deal with the buzz of society has a tendency to leave him frustrated and bitter. This pent up frustration builds into a smouldering intensity that others often read as disconcerting and even dangerous. During times like these he often seeks out a hunt or fight of some kind, usually outside town or in the dungeon but at times it becomes unbearable and he lashes out at people as well. The pent up energy and frustration from his time in town is released in an almost manic excitement when he finally gets to pit himself against prey.

    Despite these seemingly disagreeable traits of his, Amiraak is not as unfriendly as you might think. At first he maintains a fairly distant and bristly demeanor around others, seemingly ready to become aggressive and angry at a moments notice if you are overly friendly or domineering with him. Given time and persistence though and he will eventually drop his guard, becoming almost uncharacteristically soft and friendly in his own way. In good company he becomes much more energetic and bright until, like a wild animal, an unpredictable something sends him right back to bristly again.

    Biography

    I will write out his history more properly/thoroughly later. Here are a few facts to help connect him to the world.

    Amiraak became independent at a young age. Not uncommon for Boaz.
    He frequently hunted and ate non-dungeon monsters alone.
    Amiraak came to Orario City chasing his father, rumors direct him toward deep levels of the dungeon.
    Negative rumors surround Amiraak because of his first skill.
    Several gods have refused to take Amiraak in because of his first skill.

    • Monstrous Transformation: [Passive, Utility] - Amiraak is the owner of quite an unusual body. At will, the boy is able to take on a humanoid were-form of any soul stone bearing monster he has killed. While in this form he gains the natural traits (e.g. scales, claws, sharp teeth) and abilities (e.g. firebreathing, dark vision) of the monster he emulates. After transformation he cannot emulate a different monster until he has had a short rest (3-4 posts) in human form. Also, because of his unusual body Amiraak can consume raw monster parts without ill effect. (See Red Carver)

    • Red Carver: [Passive, Utility/Empower] - Amiraak is skilled at extracting useful and rare parts from monsters. Rare parts have an increased chance to drop from monsters killed by Amiraak. Amiraak also has a chance to get a unique 'Strange Meat' item from said kills. When Amiraak eats this meat his transformation (See Monsterous Transformation) is temporarily empowered granting him a large stat boost based on the kind of monster the meat is from. However, this empowered form further removes him from his humanity making Amiraak dangerous to his allies as well as making him very susceptible to mental attacks.
      (Strange Meat can be cooked into tasty Mystery Meat allowing anyone to eat it and granting a similar, but much more minor buff to the same stat. Beware stomach aches.)
