Setsuna Nara is what some might call a wallflower; ever-present yet seldom noticed. To those he befriends and grows to trust, he is known for his borderline unwavering patience and kind-hearted nature. Some would go so far as to describe him as gentle or soft-hearted. Due to losing his father at a young age, Setsuna is notably more empathetic towards orphaned children, those who come from broken families and those stigmatized by society. Due to his upbringing, he was raised to be the type of person that values and cherishes each life; believe that no one life holds more value than another. When instructing young minds, he is undoubtedly enthusiastic, often times preaching the importance of even the most minute detail. Now he has come to understand that with teaching, there is no one-shoe fits all method and as such he is notably quick-witted and quite versatile; never afraid to switch up his method in order to get his point across. For more resilient and rock-headed listeners, he is notably more persistent and stubborn. He doesn’t simply give up on someone because they don’t succeed right away, especially considering half of all adventurers advances are through trial and error. Now he is quite notably mischievous and at times childish, quite adept at using sleights of hand to make a point. Sadly, the mask that Setsuna dons to fool the rest of the world, it merely scratches the very surface of who he truly is. While he is capable of warmth and empathy, he is also cable of being cold and callused. It is noticed that Setsuna has often times chosen to involve himself in protests against the mistreatment of lesser-favored races. He is also adamantly against abuse and doesn’t hesitate to call people out on it. Some of his fellow guild mates have commented that he changes when someone he cares about is danger. He is no longer-warm but instead grows frigid. So to speak, the fox bears its fang. It is also noted that Setsuna is quite skilled at feigning ignorance in order to get someone to drop their guard, allowing him to extract the information he needs from them.

Biography

Setsuna Nara, the firstborn child of Yu and Kaede Nara, members of the nomadic Shiki tribe. It is not quite certain where Setsuna was born but it is evident it was outside the city of Orario. Throughout his childhood, Setsuna has encountered and befriended someone of nearly every race known; excluding monsters of course. However, when Setsuna was twelve years old, they migrated to Orario City, living within the slum districts for a while before his father and mother began to set up shop as an adventurer and merchant. Sadly, this father passed away when exploring the 4th floor of the dungeon and now all that Setsuna has remaining of him is his wazikashi

• Hoshiakari [Extinction of Starlight]: Purify - Light, Single-target, Offensive, Medium chant – “Oh heavens above, I call upon thy never-ending power to illuminate the depths of these depraved souls, guide them from this life to their eternal slumber.” – Upon invoking this spell, Setsuna's hands are filled with a soft ethereal glow which shapes itself into a divine bow, which is capable of firing one shot before disappearing. It is noted that it has no effect on anything that possesses any degree of humanity. In exchange for being useless against other adventures, it is incredibly powerful against monsters.

  The wakizashi that used to belong to Setsuna’s father. It is noted that the blade has been oxidized black, leaving the blade lackluster. Its surface has been painstakingly engraved with countless symbols that his nomadic tribe believes wards off evil spirits. The hilt of his blade is wrapped with unknown blue fabric and the cross guard is shaped similar to a raindrop.

  A set composed of a pitch black hakama, an onxy-colored haori with blue stitch work. It is noted that the mathing ribbion is rich sapphire blue and is used to hold Setsuna’s hair up and prevent it from becoming a hindrance during combat.
