Other war tigers, and even his father will not acknowledge his presence due to his lack of assertion and skill for combat. He often spends most of his time alone reading a multitude of books, the majority of Kagu's readings deal with psychology, some of these books are called How to make friends for idiots, how to keep a friend, how to be brave, how to make everyone like you, but despite how much he devours these books by reading them, he can not summon an ounce of confidence to put himself out there. When he talks to anyone he mumbles, and stutters, this causes Kagutsuchi to be over looked in a conversation if he can find himself into one; but, despite how much he fails in his life there is one amazing thing that stands out about him that he doesn't notice. His profound level of determination to achieve something he has set his mind to. The only thing Kagu happens to remember about his early life was the passing of his mother, and how the verbal abuse from his father increased. Kagutsuchi's mother, Jizo Izanami was a gorgeous woman who many men found alluring, she also had a trait that made her lovable to whomever she met, this trait was benevolence. Jizo spent a lot of her time teaching Kagu how to treat others how he wished to be treated along with own philosophies, naturally she knew from birth her son wasn't a warrior like his father, Amatsu. And for that very reason, Amatsu could not relate to his son on anything, and for that, he chose to neglect certain needs of his son. He picked on Kagutsuchi hoping it would push him to get out of the house, and start training to become a warrior, Amatsu's harsh words caused, Kagu to become quiet around his father because he did not want to be picked on. Jizo, and Amatsu often fought over their son. Instead of combat, Kagu was more interested in his studies, things like politics, and public speaking amazed him. His interests lead him to admiring brave men, and women who fought issues like social injustice. His mother encouraged him to further his studies once he got old enough for something like a college, or a some advanced place of research. Of course that would take money and, Amatsu wasn't for it at the least, he told Kagutsuchi if he wanted to go to a better school he would have to best him in a fight, but without a doubt, Kagu sadly lost that fight. The battle between him and his father only created a greater distance between the two, and after Jizo passed away from an illness, Amatsu kicked his son out of that house at age 15. Any pursuit Kagutsuchi had for schooling was trashed, he decided to get a job at a local diner, but it wasn't enough to live on his own, and buy food, while going to school. At work he watched the warriors who left from dungeons wearing their sparkling armor, and stylish clothing. Without knowing their characters, he wanted to be like them, and earn money. Observing them more, the adventures were all confident people who had dozens of friends, and relationships with people that acknowledged them, and Kagutsuchi wanted it all. With the desire of making friends, having a girl who liked him, and some money, he had an ambition to become an adventurer with nothing to lose.
