What are your guy's opinion about how fast GP and AP are gained? I think AP is on the dot right now. I actually am not opposed to letting people level much more quickly than the series because our system demands a lot of levels for you to rack up a sizable amount of dev abilities, spells, and skill. So while the series highest levels only go up to 7, our equivalent may be 10-12. This in effect give us a more gamey feel.
AP seems alright, even if someone's super post happy it still will take a long time for them to reach the cap. I can't judge GP however as that all depends on the price for high-tier items later on, for now it seems okay.
I'm kind of on the fence bout this one. To be honest, I almost fainted when I saw that buying a 10 unit building would cost 1800 GP (Okay fainting was exaggeration but you catch my drift). I understand that the GP and AP system is in place to counter check people who would take advantage of it but without a "request" thread for lets say a familia residence and the admin giving the go signal if they found the request beneficial, then there's not too much to go around. In example, an rper wants to make a god who had been here in Orario long before the events that transpired in Season 1. And that he has a well established familia with a thriving business which would mean he also has a bigger house than most. It would create potential plots which we can interweave into seasonal arcs. Unless I am missing something here and when you said Zeus set up a party meant that it was the "first" time people ever wanted to enter the dungeon. But as we all know, dungeoneering isn't the base of everything. We've come to know in danmachi that Gods and Goddesses delved into mortal civilization and some of them created businesses of their own. To those who will say that "Well they can start somewhere low and you know just start with one room for business etc etc.", you have a point and a good one at that. But please don't disregard my opinion when I say "Where's the fun in that?" With these backstory, we can create more and more plots and interweave them with the site arcs. Especially now since we're introducing royals in the mix, a well known familia with a firm hold on the trading business can even be interwoven into conspiracies and all those juicy. Of course I am also guilty that I am writing this because of my plan of having my business set up especially since I've detailed in my familia thread what my plans were. But I am willing to work for it. For example, I will request for @Asch and @Deek to consider giving me an option of a quest with my familia member @venjamin ...hell I don't even care of it's at an epic difficulty. My idea is to have a 2 floor complex at first known to be abandoned but rumors going around that sounds and voices could be heard in that location. And once we solve the case, we get to keep the estate. My second suggestion is to raise the GP gain for gods by at least 1.5x of the original altogether since gods don't really gain AP. Or if you're really bent on keeping it that way...how about let the gods gain "Familia Blessing", it can either be premade god blessings made by staff or even unique ones nominated by a god (meaning it needs staff approval) so that their familia can gain a blessing? It won't be anything game changing or anything, just minor boosts like in example with my goddess character Skadi. Being the goddess of ice and snow I can gain Chilling Aura, a skill which provides my familia members some resistance to cold, now this can be upgraded (or not, depending on the staff) so that better versions are given but not to the point that it would be a game changer like granting total immunity to ice. Another example would be Hades, being the god of not only the underworld but all the riches beneath the earth, he can gain the familia blessing "Lord of Riches" a skill that gives his familia members a .2 increase in the total gp gained from posts. Stuff like that. Or Loki having "Nimble Feet" a skill blessing members a raise in evasion for a number of posts. It can be a game breaker? Yes, if left unchecked but if played out, monitored well then it will open up tons of possibilities. TLDR; 1. Raise AP accumulation 2. Allow more flexible RP backstories, see how it is woven into plots and if allowed then think of a way where you can provide the rper's request with some work. 3. Raise GP accumulation for gods stuck with only non-dungeon and non-adventure quests since they don't really need AP 4. With regards to item 3, please think of a possibility for gods to use the AP they gain and choose familia blessings which their children can enjoy. I know we're following Danmachi but in a way we're AU, so why not make something unique for this site? Give falna or the blessing of the gods more uniqueness. Not just raising stats and all. Okay so while I agree that costs are really high for some stuff. The main issue I think you have is actually possible to be done already. When you start as a god you can give yourself a property of up to 15 units. As I have done with Khaos and Izanami. This isn't totally obvious though so few actually do it. I only knew cause Asch answered the question I had in cbox once lol. So yeah, you can have a two floor building easily and even state that your god was around since the earliest descent of 10 years ago. Both I and Chaos have made posts with our gods that show past events and give us backstory. As for the other thing... yeah I already tried to push for 'miracles' that gods could use much like what you are suggesting. It got shot down as far as I know. I'm not staff but thought I'd help you on the Familia size thing. Also I'm pro AP GAIN UP for gods.
Hmm my last example should be scrapped as it was an active skill @Pandora I was thinking more of making it passives rather than an active god/dess' blessing.
