Time SkipEventide At some point during lively conversations, Ouranos distanced himself from the group and headed off to reflect on his thoughts in private. No one was able to see him once he disappeared from the main hall. Outside his personal chamber stood two Valkyries. No amount of pestering could stop these Valkyries from blocking entry into his chamber. Although a few immature deities thought it would be funny to tease the stoic winged guardians, their jest was met with intense animosity from the women. Thankfully, that was all that was needed to drive unwanted attention from Ouranos. When the old god emerged from his chamber several hours later, the sun was beginning to set—it was time for the real deliberation. It appeared that in his haste and urgency, Ouranos had invited all deities to the important meeting, instead of key figures from the various pantheons. It resulted in the festive gods and goddesses treating the Denatus as some kind of get together for their own amusement. Ouranos figured he went wrong the moment he opened the door to the Hall far too early and catered to parched throat and empty stomachs with luxurious provisions. To get to the primary objective of why he had gathered them there, Ouranos devised a plan in which all gods will be able to determine Zeus’ punishment, and furthermore, the law of divine power and its usage through a democratic process. With the help of the Valkyries, Ouranos set up a massive wooden stall and veiled the entrance with a thick curtain. This would serve as the voting booth for the gods. After he finished, he grabbed a golden chalice and tapped its side with a knife, beckoning the attention of everyone in the room. He spoke in a loud, audible voice, “Since there is no orderly way to deliberate on this important topic, we will have a vote instead. Everyone will be granted an hour to voice your last thoughts and decide on a stance. Those who abstain from the vote for any reason must leave the Hall of Gods at that time and will not be permitted to influence the vote thereafter. If you strongly identify with an stance, it is your responsibility to convince your peers and act diplomatically according to your interest.” Ouranos paused. “Once the voting is finished, we will spend a week discussing the result of the vote and come together one last time to finalize the vote. If you change your mind at any time during this period, you must consult the ballot keeper and also the head of the Valkyries, Astrid.” When Ouranos introduced her, Astrid who had short teal hair respectfully lowered her head to her divine audience. Ouranos continued, “The reason I am lenient with this voting process is so you can reflect on the implication of gods using their power. I trust that we will come to a conclusion everyone can abide by.” "α (alpha) represents leniency toward power usage in the future, provided they are used for a compelling reason. This means that Zeus will only be punished through house-arrest." "β (beta), however, represents taking a strong stance against divine powers so we will never again have a god-caused disaster like yesterday. This also mean that the council will make an example out of Zeus and banish him to the metaphysical realms. Per my neutral position, I will abstain from voting." Yet again, Ouranos had even more to say. However, from his tone, it seemed that he strategically inserted the last bit as an afterthought, "I hereby decree that Ra from the Egyptian pantheon and Odin from the Norse pantheon will serve as my right and left hands. That is all." OOC Notes: After the in-character hour, a vote will be conducted. All gods come into this vote with ulterior motive as they are voting on a policy that has a lot of impact on them. This is the time for gods to use their diplomacy to convince one another on how to vote. Do not play out the voting ICly until I put out the poll. The Voting Booth: If you inquired Astrid on how the voting is going to work, she will tell you that there is a table inside the booth with two stacks of paper, one labeled α (alpha) and the other, β (beta). You must take either one and fold it over twice before passing it to Astrid who will be outside of the booth. In order to prevent any kind of rigging, there will be a Valkyrie watching the entire process on the inside and two more Valkyries guarding from the outside.
That call to order by Ouranos was just right in time before Skadi totally lost it. For the whole time that Skadi ignored the who ruckus from the banters, especially when some gods broke off into little groups talked amongst themselves, her anger bubbled and simmered over. When others obviously did not listen nor bothered to care about the announcement made by Ouranos due to them thinking that they were such big shots, Skadi's temper exploded. Opening her eyes for the first time, it glowed with a divine aura as she accessed all the powers she could muster at her currently sealed state. Yes, she will probably pay for it later as she will be drained almost completely and it will take a long time to recuperate, but sacrifices had to be made. "ENOUGH!!" Skadi stood up with her voice amplified with rage as it took on a deeper quality, the way the voices of gods changed when they were consumed with wrath. And as she yelled, a ring of ice exploded out from where she sat, causing the hall of the gods to be laid and covered with ice. The ice goddess maybe devoid of emotion, but anger and wrath was certainly an emotion she already had. "Ouranos has already called this meeting to an order! Now shut the hell up with your useless banter and access that part of your brain which makes you understand reason! To the gods who still refuse to pay attention to the matter at hand, leave this hall immediately!" It was really a sight to be beheld as the ice goddess rarely showed this side of hers, the mortals who usually incurred her wrath did not live to tell the tale about it. "As none of the wisdom gods and goddess have joined us, I as the presider of justice will have to step in I'm afraid…" It was the truth, for some convenient reason, the Greek goddess Athena who is famed for her wisdom was not in this meeting, whether it was orchestrated, she wasn't sure. She wasn't sloppy seconds, in fact if the aforementioned pantheon did prevent Athena from coming as to not implicate themselves, then they failed to consider Skadi's presence in this meeting. She is a goddess of justice after all. "First off, I understand that some of you arrived here but are still kept in the dark as to what really transpired...there is one solution to that." Skadi nodded to a valkyrie, one she gave orders to earlier, and the battle maiden strode forward holding an item that was covered with a cloak. "It is inevitable that we all see what transpired during that day. But unfortunately, we are not all seeing gods. Therefore...and I am saying this in advance, sorry for not asking for your permission. This is the eye of Mimir, previously one of the eyes of the All Father. But due to circumstances, it is now used to trials such as these to obtain the truth and nothing but the truth. It is a divine artifact from which someone can see anything they wished and it will be shown to them without any form of interference as it is immune to such trickery." As she spoke, the valkyrie removed the cloak and there floated a huge round object the shape of a crystal ball, one of the missing eyes of Odin. Skadi knew she would hear from Odin later for daring to use a divine artifact and revealing a secret of the Norse Pantheon but in this case she knew she would easily be forgiven for Odin had a lot to gain. "Let the truth be revealed…" She commanded the eye of Mimir and with it, the ball glowed for a few seconds, and then....nothing. The light fizzed out and died, as if something...or someone had interrupted. Skadi's eyes narrowed at what had happened and instead she addressed everyone in the room. "Great powers are at play...it seems we can't really know what happened during that day. And so instead I will be giving my own opinions of the matter…" And then she turned around to all the eyes locked on to her. "As Ouranos already preempted the motions and maneuvered things so that a vote can be made, I propose for the choices to be amended. We all know that in this case, there are always two sides of a coin. There is a balance that weighs the reasons, the motivations to such acts. It is something to note that witnesses point to Zeus as the perpetrator as he had made light of the pact that gods are in no way to be allowed near the tower. But we should also consider the fact that their actions afterward, unleashing their limiters and causing destruction, was done to avoid an even larger catastrophe." She paused and watched everyone, waiting for her words to seep in. "We also know that the sacred pact made before the descent was bound to be broken due to the clause provided that our powers can be released if the situation arises. Unfortunately for Zeus and his pantheon, they would have to be the lamb to be offered up as sacrifice to serve as an example and to test this rule. Zeus and other party are to be blamed, but the actions he took or rather the motivations behind his actions when he released his divine powers were for him to save his familia and the lives of innocent people. However...the root cause is still their failure to follow the sacred pact." And with that, Skadi raised her fist and slammed it to the large round table, her action causing it to crack. "And so I come to my proposal of amending the choices. I propose for: β (beta) to remain as is, but as for α (alpha) to be changed as a way for the Zeus familia to redeem 'some' of their honor. In order for them to avoid the harsh punishment of the second choice, they must win a war game." As soon as she mentioned a war game, Skadi smiled as commotion broke through the ranks of the gods. "Make no mistake, I know that there has to be an equal thing of value that must be wagered. In the case of the Zeus familia, their wager is to keep Zeus from being banished. You will be pitted with select members from all the other familias which will also be decided by a vote. Familia members of the greek pantheon may side with the Zeus familia but everyone else who votes for them to be punished harshly will have to fight for their resolve. Worry not to those who will fight against and for the greek pantheon, as nothing will be taken from you if you lose from this war game." It was a trial afterall, with her proposal, all possible qualms about the choices would be squashed. Some people might think that the previous choices were too...light. While others might think that Ouranus just left it to a choice. But with her proposal, it will not only calm those doubts, but it will make things more fun. Usually the God who proposed the war game also had something to lose. But this time, it was like having no strings attached, this was a trial after all. She only made a proposal, it was up to everyone if they agreed. So basically, with her proposal, they had two choices. Either to give the Zeus familia and his pantheon a chance to regain their pride and honor. Thus avoiding a harsh punishment and just being confined to a house arrest. Or for them to get punished by having Zeus' divine bum hauled back to the heavens. Skadi did not comment regarding Ouranos declaration about hiss left or right hand men, she didn't agree to it, she felt that that issue could be talked about at a different time. And as she finished, Skadi sat down gracefully, the remaining ice and snow that had covered the room vanished as she felt her powers drain out of her due to exhaustion. [[Notes: edited as per Asch's orders.]]
The announcement followed by the angered ice goddess's actions both seemed to float through one of Khaos's ears and out the other. The goddess of chaos was sitting with Loki and made the slightest glance in the direction of Skadi after she was talking for quite awhile. The male and flirtatious Norse god was her entertainment for the moment, not this one. Although Khaos couldn't help but feel a real thrill from the elemental blast. Such chaotic use of the elements was like a blast of ecstasy to her. Maybe even as much as severe showings of emotion.... which Skadi offered right now in spades. Khaos leaned back in her chair with her legs crossed. picking up a glass of wine she had on the table. Again it didn't work on her to make her intoxicated but it was a new flavor so she tolerated the new experience. Rising it to her lips she saw the drink was frozen solid. Khaos laughed while she threw the glass behind over her shoulder causing it to shatter against the wall. Her maid did little as she was busy hugging herself and shivering from the cold. Teh... low level mortals are so easy to break. Skadi preached about the disaster caused by Zeus. All the while proclaiming how horrible the Greek pantheon was, Khaos's entire creation was at fault. The chaotic origin rolled her eyes and then clapped at the end. She always did like Zeus as one of her more favored spawn. He was very easy to emotionally control and a complete wild thing at parties. Khaos's response to Skadi's decisions was a look of complete indifference. Khaos could care less about this silly rules thing. It all would lead to the same outcome anyway... and Khaos felt she had no need to fear lesser beings. In fact the only reason the origin was here and followed them at all was for her entertainment. Still she threw a statement of her own out there just to create more debate to watch. "That was really COOL wasn't it Skadi? Hahaha, you are ALREADY BREAKING the rules right here, while you proclaim KHAOS'S children THE culprits? I like that Skadi. A truly amussssing stunt that makes KHAOS wonder if youuuuu have ANY other TRICKS. Ya knowwww like playing build a snowman.... but." Her entertained look faded very fast as she stood from her seat. Her words were silly and sing songy but in them were her true beliefs. "Every single one of you NEED TO realizzzze what existence is alllll about. Chaos. Simple unrestrained chaossssss. All the little rules and petty limiters are fruitless... heheha. No matter what changes are made. IT IS all the sammmmee. Any god worth their salt could destroy this planet just like that. " Khaos snapped her finger and grinned widely. "Get it?" Her body began to radiate a psychedelic energy for a moment before fading. Unlike Skadi, Khaos felt invigorated from her power usage and really wanted to do more than just a finger snap. The urge to just go wild and blow the whole tower and all the gods to pieces was growing quickly but for now she really had to maintain some control. Yuck control was one of her least favorite words of all time. Her face grew gentle and she raised out her hand to the other gods in a affectionate way. Her voice a more even tone like that when she is in disguise. "We all came here to entertain ourselves right? Even those who won't admit it. Look inside yourselves... at your true feelings. Zeus simply indulged his own pleasures, and acted as he desired. That is a natural rule that comes from existing. It cannot be restricted for long. Everything will lead to the same end anyway." She pulled out a pair of glasses and put them on stylishly. Making a very intellectual look as she pushed them up her nose in a stereotypical way. She secretly hoped Odin would emit some annoyance from this. "Khaos is the origin of everything, thus Khaos see's not the concern of this event. Mortals died. Boohoo. Remake them. If one of us blow up the Earth so be it. Remake it. Tsk tsk... as long as none of us perish it's fine right?" Shaking her finger at them all as if scolding unruly children that didn't understand anything. The insane being backed up, took her glasses off and fell into her seat. Grinning again with a almost full on maliciousness. Khaos spoke once more. "Zeus CAN go and DIE for all Khaos cares.Just stop all this PRETENDING to be nice and remove the rules completely. THAT is how it should be. So Khaos votes for CHOICE Omega added right now. Remove the limits or at least make our lives more FUN with a use a day or something hahaha. The end of the universe will come regardless. JUST ENJOY yourself while you can. If not.. pooh. Make your silly votes that will be broken by every creature in here who has any degree of power." Khaos made a nonchalant gesture at Skadi. "Or go with this ones idea. Wargames lead to suffering of mortals. It's all the same to me. Chaos breeds just more chaos. Win win for me." She tapped her foot twice and her maid came forward, finished shivering. Taking a glass from her, Khaos took it and rolled the glass in her hand. Only focusing on it now with no obvious attention being payed to the others. ------------------------------------------------ Voted her own choice [Omega: Lightening or complete removal of power limit laws.] and tolerates Skadi's.
Hades exhaled with a measure of indifference, the information shown through the eye was inconsequential to her, she didn't care about the authenticity of his guilt or not, it wouldn't really matter in the face of the damages done, the mortals would ask for a punishment or response from the Gods regardless. It was largely a farce to appease the majority who felt they were harmed in some way and desired harm to be done to the other party; to sate this desire, the Gods were now debating on punishments... Or at least that is what it came down to in the goddess's eyes. "The prospects of removing the limiters at all is asinine, these limiters are here not only for the mortal's protection but for the protection of our own familias as well. Removing them only to end up vaporizing your own toys from a sudden fit is wasteful, the Mortals wouldn't be able to survive such a scenario; thus it will be denied instantly." Hades explained without even glancing at Khaos, there was no way such a motion would ever pass or succeed. Glancing to Skadi though, Hades gaze fell on her briefly as she spoke before losing some interest part way through her break down. "We are here to provide judgement for damages done, not buy good will with the public; Your honor is not something that will have real value for those who want to see punishment dealt. The Mortals themselves have a system; Death, Exile, Bondage or Pain. These are the punishments that Mortals have ruled worthy of grievous crimes. These options relate to two of these; Exile or Bondage, in keeping with the Mortal's system to appease outcry, trying to change them might only lead to further issues." She explained setting her tea down, knowing that if things kept going on like this there would just be more shouting about every this and that. "Keep your opinions brief, your rationales concise; This is not a game, it is not a platform to stand upon preening your feathers either. It is simple; Which punishment is appropriate? Why? These are the questions you must bring your attention to." She tried to explain for the pair who jumped up immediately, her gaze listing across the crowd towards those who might be preparing to follow up with a long and overarching explanation about why their ideas of punishments or rules were better.
Nyx's attention had split between Skadi's sudden, and rather obnoxious outburst, followed by her mother, Khaos' own little miniature tirade about spreading Chaos all over the land and the like. As much as she loved her mother, as any daughter should, it did not help that Nyx could not very much care for Khaos' views on how everything should be. Skadi's sudden outburst, followed by an explicit use of a divine artifact, before the entire council no less only made the woman roll her eyes beneath her shadowy veil. It seemed that Ouranos was the only one here with any sense on how to approach the situation dealing with Zeus and his actions in the dungeon. An exasperated sigh escaped her lips as she shook her head, a hand coming to pinch the bridge of her nose before turning her sights upon Hades. Lady Underworld's words seem to strike a chord with her. "I could not agree with the Lady more. All of these details that you are throwing in are minute at best, and serve naught for the main purpose at hand. Express your opinions of Zeus how you wish. Wish ill of him if you must. But by the end of the day, we must come to a conclusion that is fair not only among our council, but for the Mortals that we all treasure as well. If we cannot even abide by such common sense, then I dare say, what was even the point of us all coming down to live among them in the first place? Our very presence in the Mortal Plane is a show of good faith in itself. And what would our children think of us if we destroy that faith by banishing a Familia's Deity? Nothing good will come of it." she says, soon shooting a poignant stare over at Khaos. "More-so than I would care to admit..." It was somewhat obvious that Nyx and Khaos, while being of direct lineage, did not always see eye-to-eye, and the Mother of Night was more than willing to point that out. Absolute havoc was not something that she cared to stand by. She chose to stick with the modicum of Chaos and Order hand in hand. Too much of one thing never bode well for those affected by it. @Hades @Khaos @Skadi
Bishamonten listened quietly at the hubbub that was going on around him with his arms crossed. His eyes narrowed slightly as Skadi overreacted and called attention to the issue. Well, he thought she overreacted. His eyes narrowed even further at the artifact not working. Something was afoot, he wasn't sure what though. He listened to her give her opinion, then Khaos', then Hades', then Nyx's. Once Nyx was done, he raised a hand. "If I may," he said, "I believe we do not have enough evidence to decide what punishment Zeus should take. As I have said to some people hours prior, I believe we should search for more evidence and ask witnesses to the event before we can properly deal punishment. There's just too little to go on and there might be some key people that know a lot more than any of us gods know." He dipped his head a little. "That is what I have to say." He went back to observing the crowd once he was finished.
Freya was not going to lie, she had fallen asleep during everyone's fighting and was enjoying her peaceful nap. Not even the outburst of Skadi was enough to cause the goddess anything more then a slight stir in her slumber. Right hand falling off the side of her chair as she snored lightly for those close around her to hear. She was overworking herself, and as such the moment she had time to relax she was out like a light. It was not helping that her second persona had started to cause a mess inside her head while trying to be let out so she could play with the Valkyries under Odin's control. Another light snore escaping her lips as her left hand began to loosen the grip on her halberd. The weapon slowly starting to lean towards the ground as a result.
Dungeon Master The entire room was speechless and flabbergasted when Skadi pulled out Odin’s prized relic and alluded to its powers. Shortly after, nearly every god and goddess stood up and expressed their anger with shouts, tearing at one another’s throat with accusations and insults. The notion that an artifact with omnipotent sight exists in the mortal realm had threaten all the ploys and schemes that these deities have been engaging in secret. If Odin had an artifact as powerful as this (and had it stolen), who can say someone else might not possess something similar and is spying on them? As delegation broke down, Ouranos began rubbing his temple, contemplating the next course of action. Witnessing the unfolding event, Hera was the first to act. Walking toward one of the Valkyries, Hera demanded that the guardian hands over her sword. When her request was met with resistance, Hera used her supreme strength to wrestle the sword from the Valkyrie and used a portion of her power to put the guardian to sleep. Gripping tightly at the blade until it bit into her flesh and drew blood, Hera re-positioned herself into javelin-throwing posture. Twisting her body to generate momentum, the goddess sent the blade directly into the orb the Valkyrie standing next to Skadi was holding. The impact shatter the orb into a million pieces, coating both the horrified Valkyrie, Skadi and the floor around them in what was essentially Odin’s flesh. “How dare you bring something like that to the mortal realm, Odin AND have the gall to preach order and morality to us? How do we know the Norse pantheon isn’t using the eye to fabricate lies about my husband? I will NEVER allow something like that in my presence or in the presence of the court,” Hera growled as her face was painted with anger no one could match.
Dungeon Master Odin was completely blindsided by the unfolding event. His authority and credibility as the Allfather was being stripped away right before his very eyes. The anger from the the gods and goddess in the room had been roused into an uncontrollable flame and there was no way for anyone to contain it any longer. Although he used his power to stop the irresponsible Skadi from using the relic’s power, it was too late; she had done the damage and he was to pay dearly for it. What Odin did not expect was the sword piercing the eye and completely shattering it. Given that he was without his eye-patch, blood gushed from his eye socket and splattered the Valkyries and other attendees around him. What came next were Odin’s bone-chilling cries as pain brought the Allfather to his knees, head hunched over the floor as blood dripped from his head and formed a large puddle on the floor. “FUUUUUCK, GOD FUUUUCKING DAMMIT!!!” he grunted, heaving as if to cope with the intense pain. When Odin lifted his face and looked at Hera, his expression was that of a quiet, murderous rage. As he stood up, Odin covered his mutilated eye in a futile attempt to stop the blood. Every step he took in silence broke the floor as if his feet were producing earthquake that tore the floor apart in his unstable gait. In his wounded state, Odin struggled as he walked into the booth with the help of one of the Valkyries. When he came out with a hand clutching tightly onto a piece of paper, he handed it over to Astrid. Then, he looked over Hera and the rest of the Greek pantheon one last time, speaking in a hollow, yet threatening voice, “Zeus can burn in hell… Hera, you’ll hear from me again.” “And for all of you ingrates and this useless council, whom I had done my very best to keep peace among, you can have the fucking seat. I am leaving for the night,” Odin said as he signaled for the Valkyries to follow him. Although Eva wanted to pluck out Hera’s eyes, it knew its place as a lowly familiar and simply bit down its anger as it perched atop Odin’s shoulder, doing everything it can to comfort its master.
A meeting between the powerful and ancient beings, the Denatus Meet. A place where mortals would cower before the amazingly deep discussion and overwhelming divine presence. Skadi throws a tantrum, Khaos spouts gibberish, Hades acts as Miss Obvious, Freya was actually asleep... finally Odin experienced the consequences of this ridiculous joke. The hard way. Izanami had her pale hand on her face with a heavily disgusted facepalm as he stormed out. Standing up she spoke. "This is absolutely the most ridiculous bunch of sad excuses for deities I've ever seen. Zeus deserves what he gets. It's only a shame that the rest of you didn't get your just desserts. A few eons of imprisonment might give you a chance to work on your mental facilities." Izanami turned around and headed for the door. She spoke before passing through. "This meeting was a complete waste of time." The Japanese pantheon death goddess left the chamber without looking back.
Hecate timidly made her way into the hall of the gods, she was late due to her concern about how Zeus' situation was going to be handled. She kept her hands close to her chest and kept her gaze beneath eye level. She had just begun to create a new settlement here in the human world and after hearing about Zeus committing such a grave fate for himself; the goddess didn't know how to feel about her situation here anymore. To ignore his situation and continue feeling ecstatic didn't feel right; especially since Hecate had always had a good relationship with Zeus since she was a young girl. What're they going to do to him? Will he be alright? Will I be able to see him again? Then a single thought came a cross Hecate's mind, Will I ever see him the say way again? Will I be able to look up and respect him? After all this? With her hands ruffling her hair and looking down to hide immediate anger, I can't believe he'd do this to them, to show the humans this terror. What if they begin fearing us then what? She then immediately shook her head. No no no. I can't get worked up over this. I must see his fate through and accept the fact that he isn't who I once knew, right? Her thoughts kept swimming through her mind going back and forth when she finally entered the room where she would finally meet the other gods in person. The anticipation to finally meet and see everyone else overwhelmed Hecate's anxiety, and she was immediately cheerful again. Greeting the Valkyries with her arrival, she looked over at the gathering of nobles, and immediately sensed the tension in the room. This'll be...some..first meeting...
Hestia was one of the gods that was stunned by what Skadi had pulled out and was one of the ones to cry out in outrage. "NO!" she yelled as she leapt to her feet. Such an artifact was dangerous and could lead to ruin. If such a thing existed, then it needed to be quickly destroyed, for who knew if it would be stolen and used for selfish gains? She sighed in relief as her shoulders slumped when Hera through one of the Valkyries weapons at the Eye of Mimir and shattered it. The relief was short, however, for Odin began to scream in pain as blood poured out from his empty eye socket. She stood there, stunned, until he left the room. She sank back into her seat, feeling bad. She should've helped him, helped him fix his wound or something. She should have this, she should have that. I think I understand Briareus' message a bit more now. Though that moment with Odin should've been a warning I should've seen, she thought to herself as she sighed. It was no use thinking about it, for what was done was done.
Someone had to play the bad guy. This time, it had to be Skadi. The dice has just been cast and people already think she's the bad one here. Even before her arrival here, she had a hunch that Odin will seize this chance to gain leverage and gain power. So while everyone was distracted, Skadi had to move fast. She had to reveal to everyone a part of Odin's devious plan, inconspicuously at least. Skadi was still part of the Norse Pantheon and if she revealed everything outright, no one would believe her. Or worst, if they all believed her and the Norse Pantheon got erased in the process. And so, being the loner, the outcast became a whistle blower. Usually the one in sight that people sniped at which was evidenced by the comments of @Nyx and @Hades . She shrugged of @Khaos ' tirade as a part of her senility. The greeks reacted as she has planned and it was made apparent when blood splattered on her face. Skadi did not make a move to wipe out the blood as she knew that it was a small sacrifice in exchange for avoiding a future catastrophe hadn't she stepped in. Odin succeeded at getting that position but Skadi was able to thwart the All Father. There would be a hell to pay later on, and she knew that Odin won't just let her go. As for the greeks, they should be thanking her as she gave them a fighting chance, with all the evidences gathered against them, they were surely to lose Zeus. How does the Egyptian pantheon come into this? 'Even the Egyptian pantheon is unaware that if I hadn't stepped in and ones this is over...Odin will target them next...' She thought to herself as she remained silent and awaited for her turn to vote. @Sobek
Khaos was getting really bored as the rest droned on. Of course Hades and Nyx were the 'sensible' ones and Bishamonten seemed really under appreciated, well... basically ignored. Finally Hera of all people made things fun again. Just like Zeus. Those two were playing the game very well. Odin screamed in rage as the eye of mimir burst in a bloody pop. Khaos couldn't control herself this was hilarious! "Bravo!" She jumped out of her chair and clapped her hands with great enthusiasm. Making a few whistles as she felt the chaos level growing in the room. "Blood, sweat, and tears yesyesyes!" Khaos did not even care Izanami left and Odin's threat. She actually hoped for more of this. At last things could progress to the next step. This meeting was a instigator waiting to happen. She just wanted a bit more to cause even better turmoil. She looked towards Loki and winked before looking back at Skadi. Maybe he was understanding of her ways. The ways of chaos. She needed more to piss people off and without using powers she was limited at this time. Her maid stared at the blood soaked floor longingly. She seemed fixated on it for some reason...
If there was one thing that Loki really enjoyed and loved, it was chaos. But it was chaos by HIS hand that he enjoyed the most. With Hera popping Odin's eye, Skadi acting like a child, people arguing like no tomorrow; it seemed like he was getting his fill of the chaos. Of course, even with getting chaos like he wanted his eyes never left the female blonde on his side. As she moved to talk and yell about blood, Loki felt a longing he hadn't felt in close to several hundred years. It was the primal feeling of lust, desire, hate, and anger all at once. His whole body felt on fire. As he felt the desire for more chaos, Loki took a deep breath. If he did anything now it would only look worse on the Norse pantheon so he had to calm the raging inferno inside of him. Now, how would he calm this inferno? There was only one way for Loki and that was to embrace his desires. Reaching toward Khaos' neck Loki grabbed in lightly before pulling her toward him and against his chest. Turning her around; his face lit up with a psychotic smile, he spoke lightly only to her. "my, dear...beautiful seductive Khaos...you have my attention now." With those words spoken to her and a lot of attention on them because of Khaos; Loki did one thing he thought he'd never do to a greek goddess. He bent back her head across his arm and kissed her, softly at first, and then with a swift gradation of intensity that could hopefully make her cling to him as he would be the only solid thing in a dizzy swaying world. His insistent mouth was parting her sensual lips, sending feelings of lust, desire, care, admiration, and amusement. Before she could move again his other hand was running his hand through her hair while the kiss was paused. Loki's eyes were open and had a hint of mischief behind them; as well as desire. Finally he allowed her to do as she wished with this kiss, lengthen it or stop it; it was her choice. @Khaos @Skadi
Loki had in his arms who could be the most dangerous woman in existence, and he kissed her! Khaos's eyes widened to the point they looked cartoonish as she stiffened at first. She always watched and spied on mortals and other gods when they did this thing called kissing. It always gave her a thrill but this.... the energy from this Norse. It was like waves of feeling washed over her. Incredible! This was a incredible feast of emotion! Wrapping her arms around him tightly and beginning to savagely tear at his back with her nails. The chaotic origin responded in kind to his kiss, tripled! Her face became red as she rubbed her leg up against him during their lustful embrace. Her maid pulled out a bag of apples and began to tear into them with a knife at a great speed. Apple pieces began to litter the floor as she frantically carved away with a look of extreme nervousness on her face. One thing Loki may have not known was Khaos was a truly bottomless pit and once she found a way to fill it with energy emitted like this... she would never let it go until it failed to offer her more. The thoughts in her head were literally hundreds as she lost control to divulge in this pleasure but her ancient mind was calculating everything still going on and what this meant and how it could be useful to the grand game. Loki was quite the prized game piece indeed....
"Disgusting." With a frown, Hel turned her head. Though Hel couldn't find herself at all displeased with the handling of the artifact, a thing largely at fault for her current course in unlife, the enactment of the matter was far, far too crude. The implications of this Hera drawing blood was an act of war that only seemed to paint these Olympians as far a worse lot than she originally imagined. Hel quietly decided that amongst the various pantheons, she was unlikely to find many she would ever be able to stomach. And had that weapon struck Odin's heart? How funny would it be to wind up with Odin under mine own authority. Though I would quickly tire of being trapped with him for all eternity, all the better that it didn't. Of Skadi, Hel could only manage a blank wonder, she seemed a traitor without purpose nor motive. She did not mind the ice, however, it reminded her of home. Shaking her head, Hel went to file away her vote. She was the first. Finishing her task, Hel simply stood in the corner. She pondered the recourse of all of this. She was quickly coming to the understanding that there was going to need to be much done to secure her place on Midgard.
Freya had slowly woken herself up, left hand quickly gripping her halberd before it could crash into the ground alerting people she had fallen asleep before standing. "This matter should be easy for everyone to place their votes." Thoughts to herself as she walked over to the booth ignoring Loki's antics for the moment as she placed her vote. Walking out and placing the sheet of paper between the Valkyries breast before a light tap of her cheek as she walked away. As she made her way to the exit she placed her right hand to Loki's skull, and the flat part of her Halberd to Khaos's head before pushing the two apart with all she had and walking between them. "As the goddess of love, I don't approve of such a union." Her only real words spoken to everyone present as she walked out, her bed was calling her. @Loki | @Khaos
What had transpired next, not even Nyx could have seen. Hera, out of all of her pride and fury had stolen one of the Valkyrie's blades and shattered the divine artifact, which in turn, drew blood from Odin's uncovered eye socket. This in itself was practically an act of war - a war that should it unfold, the Mortals would not survive, let alone any of the gods. She couldn't help but bite the nail of her thumb as the thought reared its ugly head. She knew her own kin to be bull-headed, but never had she quite imagined them to be purely idiotic to this degree. She could feel her own rage building at how things were panning out, but once again, she would reign herself in before she wound up making things worse. After taking a breath and exhaling, albeit in annoyance, she turned her attention to yet another headache. Her mother, Khaos, and the god of trickery had... seemed to establish a "relationship, if you could call it that. No one would see it, but her eye was twitching behind the shadowy veil that shielded her ethereal visage from the rest of the peering eyes within the hall at the sight. As much as she loved her mother, and as amusing as Loki could be... that was a pairing that simply should not ever happen. She even approved of Freya's way of handling it in separating them from their little... "moment". Setting that aside for the time being, Nyx would glide her way over to the voting booth, chalking down her vote quickly before stowing it in the vessel that would rightly hold them, gliding back towards the doors, only stopping to turn her attention to Hades, Hera, then Khaos and Loki in turn. "You raised very good points today, Lady Underworld. I would very much like to indulge in conversation with you one of these days. 'Tis not often that I come across a younger goddess with a proper head on their shoulders. As for you, Mister Trickster... I'd advise that you be wary of my mother here. She can be quite the handful, even for those of us who have dealt with her in the past for the longest." She paid Khaos one last nod of acknowledgement before the doors opened, seeming to quickly fade into the shadows before anyone else could stop her. This Denatus had been interesting to say the least. Though it also held great concern to Nyx in white may come in the near future. So far... it did not spell anything good... @Hades @Hera @Khaos @Loki
Hades only cast a glance at Skadi, seeing the struggle in the girl's expression was clear, but Hades didn't comment on it, she knew Odin's scheme rather well, at least as far as trying to make them lose Zeus, but changing the harsher punishment would come at a greater cost. Without the threat of banishment looming over head, there would be nothing to restrain the gods from doing as they pleased in the future. They were setting a precedence now, the punishment they picked, would no doubt be the one that all future gods who broke the rule suffered. All that mattered was how intense the crime was to deserve however intense a reaction. The fear of being banished would be the only thing keeping gods like Khaos and Loki in check she felt. Hades did consider explaining this, but felt it would be more beneficial to keep it a secret. "We can only hope people find that this much damage is only worthy of house arrest, after all, it's not as if nobles were harmed or the city was made inoperable for a time period." She explained blankly. With Nyx trying to meet her gaze though, Hades' eyes that were devoid of feeling looked up, her expression filled with disinterest and indifference as she heard Nyx speak. "Of course. I like to keep simple things simple, aggression and heated emotion in this situation is largely useless, and even counter productive. We can meet when you like." She replied blankly, her words non-committal as they usually were. Hades was rarely moved by anything that wasn't 'gain' or 'value'. A meeting could be taken as negotiation in some ways, but social interactions were something Hades was largely unused to and even discomforted by to some extent making her unsure of whether or not Nyx would go through with such a conversation or meeting.
