Korra didn't have any fancy costumes or anything of the like, instead what she had was her older supporter clothing she fit into still. Back when she was more nervous, more ignorant and naive of the dungeon that she needed to wear armor to take care of herself. It was armor that had seen her through some hard times, equipment that was a bit thicker and more protective, but Korra didn't feel a need for it any more, instead finding that agility was better then the weight of armor that wouldn't save her. It brought back warm memories, happy memories even as she walked through the party contently. She would have brought Kirin as well, but that might have been a bit unsavory. It was at this party that she spotted someone she'd gotten to know rather recently, a happy grin on her face as she reached out for Parvati trying to sneak up on her from behind. Without hesitating, she'd try to throw her arms around the girl suddenly, hands landing at if not near the chest region. Her intentions perhaps somewhat obvious as she tried to ruffle the girl happily. "Hello again there!" She said with an ear to ear grin while she held onto the dark skinned girl happy, contently even trying to look at what she was drinking from over her shoulder curiously. Korra was naturally no stranger to this beverage, though she didn't indulge herself, it was one she often bought for kind girls when she was having a meal. It's results were usually obvious, it was something that Korra had gotten acquainted with from the serving end rather then the drinking end. "Do you like that one? Try this one?" She asked trying to hand Parvati a large glass of whine from over her shoulder. "And this one too--" She offered bringing a mug of mead around the girl's waist on the opposite side with a happy and childish grin. Offering Parvati liquor was totally not for a bad reason... Absolutely, Korra's intentions were completely pure she convinced herself without hesitating. "They're all really tasty, but now that I'm here you at least don't have to worry about what will happen after, I'll take good care of you okay?" She offered with a bright smile.
@Celsius Snowfang Soren couldn't help but scratch the side of his face as the Chienthrope acted flustered. He didn't know why he was in a dress, but to each their own. Heck, his own father wouldn't mind his own son wearing a dress and he would tease him about it, getting a flustered reaction much like Celsius was going through. "Er...sorry I asked all of a sudden," he apologized, "Didn't mean to startle you like that." He simply nodded at the Chienthrope's question as he looked around. Near the counter were many others asking for a drink, though he did notice a few that hadn't left the area. He briefly wondered what they were talking about when he turned his attention back to Celsius. "It is. It's my first party that I've ever attended to that's this big," he admitted, giving him a sheepish smile, "The only parties I've ever went to were birthday parties and they didn't have...well, anything like this back where I came from." He gestured to the entire decor as he spoke, to emphasize the fact. "It's a little overwhelming, to be honest, but I can see why some people find it fun."
@Korra Quinn Parvati had stopped wandering around aimlessly and instead stood stock still where she was at, observing the people around her. She didn't find anything of interest yet- well, that was a lie. Some of the costumes they had was absolutely riveting to the Amazoness from Telskyura. She wondered where they got the idea to dress up a certain way. Just then she found herself yelping as she was ambushed by someone familiar. She would've said something if she wasn't offered all kinds of alcoholic drinks that she had to gather them into her hand. "Well met, story singer," she said as she tried a taste of everything. She liked the wine more. "Are you here for fun too?"
Korra couldn't help a mellow chuckle in response to Parvati's words, a warm smile coming to her face seeing the girl try the drinks one at a time. Seeing her preference for wine, Korra got a bit more curious. "What do you think you like best then? White or Red?" She tried to present her with another pair of glasses taken from a nearby serving tray happily offering them to Parvati again, though she was indeed trying to give the girl more then she could handle, she was also curious about the girl's tastes. Though when asked about whether or not she was here for fun, Korra's mellow smile softened as she tried leaning against the girl's back a little. "Aren't I here for you?" She replied back with a bright smile, though if Parvati asked for clarification, Korra would playfully not hear it as she leaned against the other girl's back contently. "Let's see... You like sweet things then? That's actually pretty cute." She pointed out looking at the drinks Parvati seemed to be leaning towards wondering if her assessment was true.
"A-Ah, too much!" Parvati squeaked as she was bombarded by drink after drink. She didn't know how to react to it other than taking a sip of each of the glasses. Well, she didn't want to be rude by turning down the offer, but even she had her limit on the amount of glasses she could hold! "I- Ah...Ahem." She cleared her throat as she tried to look at Korra. "I...white? Red? I do not understand," she said before looking down at the many glasses she was holding, "Do you mean drink? I prefer, um, both white and red taste like sweet fire, I believe that is the correct description?" She shook her head. "I do not know." Her lips couldn't help but twitch into a small smile at the flirting. "Very kind of you, my story singer knight, Korra," she said, laughing a little at the title, "Perhaps I have come here for you as well. Perhaps not. Either way, it is nice of you to be here." She looked down at the glasses as she chugged one down, trying to ignore the bitter taste. She put the glass on a nearby server's tray and looked at her. "Where shall we be going this fine night?"
Loki chuckled darkly as he looked himself in the mirror. Oh, his outfit looked so amazing now. With the foam lightning bolts, the toga across his chest, the small red belt keeping it above his waist, and the lightning bolt patch on the shoulder. He looked exactly like Zeus himself. He even had put on a blonde wig. Laughing wildly he started walking toward where the part way. It took him a bit because he wanted to scare some people and flirt his way just like Zeus would. A few moments and he were at the door. Chuckling he kicked the doors open he yelled out "OPEN YOUR MOUTH AND CLOSE YOUR EYES, LET PAPA ZEUS GIVE YOU A SURPRISE!" Loki then ran into the room before smiling and winking at Khaos. As he winked at the lovely lady his attention floated toward Parvati, one of Zeus' remaining Adventurers. A soft giggle and a smile, he walked toward her and spoke. "My dearest daughter! HOW ARE YOU!?!" Oh yes, he was going to go 150% with this costume and outfit. Zeus was a notorious flirt when it came to the humans, and better yet, Loki had studied quite a bit about Zeus' familia. Once he was near Parvati, 'Zeus' looked her up and down and chuckled before looking at Korra, the #1 supporter of the adventurers. "mmm another beautiful daughter, but this one is my sisters! Sister dearest where are you?" @Khaos @Parvati Roshan @Korra Quinn
@Korra Quinn @Loki Marzipan had wandered into the area where the dances were being held, drink empty. She placed the drink on a tray with empty drinks on it and looked back at the dancing people. They were doing all kinds of moves she had never seen before. She didn't know people could move like that. It wasn't really her style. "Eh," she said as she sighed and got out of there. She made a beeline for the drink counter she saw earlier, coming up to the person and saying, "Hey, got any wine?" She watched as he bent down and poured her drink out for her. "Thanks," she said, taking a gulp of the wine. She was more used to beer and mead, but wine was okay. Really fruity, though. The Hume Bunny once more began looking around the place and wandering aimlessly, taking sips of her wine every now and then. Well, she needed some social interaction, but with who? Just then her eyes fell on a familiar face. At least, it looked a little familiar. She then saw someone approaching the two girls, a scowl now firmly in place. The heck was he doing? She immediately went over to the women, one of them looking at the male in disgust. "Hey, back off," she growled. Hoo boy, she wished she brought her swords along so she could look intimidating. Her height and baby face did not help at all.
“No kidding.” The deity’s response was rather blunt as he prodded fun at the red cloaked figure for admitting her own short comings with regards to politics. Given the look in his eyes however, the Egyptian god was listening rather intently as Hestia continued to expound on her explanation. For the first time since the two had clashed in a battle of songs, the crocodile’s harsh gaze softened a bit upon hearing the goddess’ response. From what Sobek could tell, the little one was genuine in her decision. Perhaps deep down inside, he felt a small bit of approval for her naïve choice. “Well, if you insist… we did send some invites out to the Norse folk. Not sure if they’re in the mood for festivities though.” The wolf of a man was suddenly interrupted upon hearing a vaguely familiar outburst. “Ah, speak of the devil.” A dry chuckle sounded as he spoke. “I’m gonna take a guess and say that’s one of the few you don't want to apologize to.” Yet another toothy grin cracked across the man’s face from beneath his canine hood as he laughed. @Hestia
Korra happily nodded back at Parvati's words, knowing that the girl was probably having fun. Hearing her thoughts on the whine though, Korra nodded back along, seeing that Parvati couldn't hold onto them all, Korra was fine holding some herself letting Parvati taste or try them one by one with a bright happy grin. This was certainly the atmosphere she lived for, there was nothing better or brighter then this in the world. Though hearing her say that perhaps it was the same for her, or perhaps not, Korra cracked a wide grin and shook her head slowly. "No no, I could never be so pessimistic. Somewhere deep down inside, I'm sure you're here for me for one reason or another." She offered with a kind smile. Though when Marzipan also joined into the festivities to bother with the man approaching them, Korra's smile brightened, she'd be able to recognize females a mile away after all, costume didn't much matter to Korra who practically tracked them by scent. Trying to reach her other arm up towards Marzipan to snake around her shoulders content to cling to both Parvati and Marzipan, she brightened up visibly. "Marzi's here too-- What fun, to think things would be moving so fast between us, that third one is coming up fast isn't it?" She teased commenting as if every time they met it was automatically another date. Though the inside joke aside, Parvati's scowl didn't go unnoticed as she cocked her head slowly at the man bothering them. Initially unnoticed, she cocked her head visibly at the man's efforts before finally realized it was very much unwanted. "Ah-- I didn't see you there." She murmured looking at Loki blinking a few times at him. "Hi--" She said, flashing a mellow smile, before her attention instantly turned back towards Parvati, trying to rest a chin on her shoulder since she seemed distressed. If she wasn't shrugged or brushed off, she'd have a furrow in her brow as she'd ask in a concerned town. "You okay? Should I ask Kirin to give us a hand?" She asked with a smile, offering the horse as a means of security for Parvati and the clown's interference. Naturally though Korra did well ignoring the man, as if he didn't really fall under her gaze. Men were never that interesting for the bard unless they were adventurers.
@Sobek @Loki Hestia noticed the look on Sobek's face had softened somewhat. She didn't know why, but it made her feel a little warm inside on seeing that expression. It was nice to know this god had another side to him other than the pessimism. After the battle with the songs, she didn't know if he would be alright to be around or not. She didn't mind the company, though. She heard a boisterous laugh and immediately couldn't help but give an awkward smile. "Erm...well..." Truth be told, she didn't want to interact with Loki at all. His reputation preceded him, after all. But then again, she wasn't sure what the trickster god was doing. "...M-Maybe I should go and see if he's causing any trouble," she stammered, first finishing off her drink and ordering another apple juice before scurrying to see what the trickster god was up to. She couldn't help but frown as she noticed that three girls were near the god. That just reeked of trouble right there. "Hello, Loki," she called out, waving to him with her free hand as she approached the trickster god, "I see you're having fun. Please don't bother these poor girls, though. I'm sure they would appreciate it if you weren't so forward." From out of the corner of her eye, she could see the hostility between the two girls over Loki. She hoped she would be able to draw his attention away from them.
@Soren Kalamalos Celsius shook his head a bit as Soren apologized to him about the suddenness of his approach. Honestly, he didn't mind it too much. The initial shock of being seen in the outfit had come and gone, so the only real thing that would bother him was the eyes of strangers. At this point, he was merely observing the crowd, slowly sipping his apple juice before turning those blue eyes towards the elf as he spoke up again. This time, speaking of how it was his first time attending a party this large before. So he'd been to other parties already then, huh? "Lucky you..." he replied, or perhaps blurted out more-so than anything else. A melancholic expression seemed to come over Celsius' features, eyes now staring into the glass of what remainder of his juice remained as he spoke. "You've been able to afford the luxury of something like parties before. That's good, I suppose..." When he realized that he was starting to open up a little more than he'd intended, he averted his gaze towards the sound of boisterous laughter after a door was kicked wide open. Zeus had made an appearance! Or... no, wait. That wasn't Zeus. Just some idiot dressed up like him. Who in the Hells below...? Oh... it was Loki, the God of Mischief. Who else would be so obnoxious besides Zeus himself? Not that Zeus was a bad god mind you. He was just... loud... and annoying. Then again, so was Loki. The Chienthrope couldn't help but growl a touch as he watched the trickster god attempt to swoon mortal women under the name and "face" of Zeus. It was disgusting, in all honesty. "God or not... that Loki is a moron..." he stated flatly, downing the rest of his juice before turning back to Soren. "Sorry.. I didn't mean to sound depressing or whatever. My side of things isn't very nice. But you probably figured that when we first met, huh?"
The Host Osiris let out a laugh when he heard Khaos addressed him in that way, it seemed that nothing is enough to please this troublesome goddess who sought to suck all emotions and turbulence into her unfillable void. When Khaos approached him, he was adorned in a pirate costume of some kind, complete with a living and breathing parrot perching on his shoulder. “Why it’s the goddess of the void, there are lots of surprises planned for this night, though I can’t imagine they would entertain you the way you like. I mean, if you are really looking for the juicy mortal drama, you’re going to have to wait push these people to drink a lot more now, the fun’s just getting started!” he spoke in a tone of merriment. Before he could continue the conversation, a group of mortals standing adjacent to Osiris tugged at sleeve, requesting he does a shot of fig spirits. In the role of the host, Osiris obviously had to comply. Since there was an extra shot of the violet-colored liquid, he nudged Khaos beckoning her to take the tiny glass, “Come have a hooked shot with this old underworld god won’t you?” @Khaos
@Hades Nyx merely offered a small smile, lips parting to speak before the sound of a door slamming open and loud and boisterous laughter met her ears. Slowly, she turned her head to see Zeus... no... not Zeus. Loki pretending to be Zeus. She rolled her eyes with a slight groan of annoyance before pinching the bridge of her nose. She should have figured the trickster god would pull something like this, given everything that occurred at the Denatus meeting. Of course Loki would be looking to try and rouse a bit of annoyance out of the Greeks, as well as ruin Zeus' image any further than it already had been. But no matter. What Loki did was his business and his alone. She would only ever care if it effected any of the mortal children to a drastic degree. She turned her attention back to Hades before speaking once more. "My dear Hades, I merely jest. 'Tis true that no one would think for a god to merely come in their true visage for a mortal's holiday such as this. Though, I would dare say that costumes are nowhere nearly as expensive if you happen to have the materials for it yourself. Perhaps the next time this event rolls around, I could make you something, no? Free of charge, of course. As generous an offer it was, Nyx was certain that Hades would not take it regardless. When he made decisions, he had a tendency to stick by them. Not that this was on issue of course. It was just a habit that she had taken note of over time. Ethereal blue eyes flickered over the scene of the party, like a parent having insisted on it so long as there was adult supervision. She was a mother through and through in such regards. Or perhaps maybe she was a touch on guard due to the presence of certain gods? Loki being one, and of course, her mother, Khaos being the other. There was never a true guarantee of peaceful times when she was around. Never.
@Celsius Snowfang Soren was also observing the people around him. "Mm, I guess I am pretty lucky," he mused, "I have a great father, a roof over my head, enough to eat, what more could I want?" He paused, realizing what he just asked. To be honest, he wanted some friends, but he didn't know how to go about making them yet. He didn't say that out loud, though, and continued to sip his orange juice. He heard the sound of someone laughing and proclaiming themselves as...was it Zeus? He wasn't sure. Looking around, it seemed that the Pallum talking to the one eyed man had hurried off to somewhere. He just chalked it up to her finishing the conversation and meeting a new friend or something. He frowned heavily when Celsius gave his opinion on the god. "He's still a god, though. He deserves some respect, despite being...well, not good company," he admitted. He was mildly horrified by what he just said about Loki, but it quickly went away when he down the last of his orange juice. Heaving a sigh, her turned back to the server and put away the glass on the tray they were carrying. "Excuse me, can I have another orange juice?" he asked the man at the counter. He got his drink a few moments later and was back to conversing with the Chienthrope. "It's alright, things will turn out better someday," he said, "At least, that's what my old mentor told me before he passed away." Saying that made him feel sad. He tried to push that thought aside as he tried to change the topic. "Anyway, how've you been since I last saw you? Everything been going out alright?"
Khaos's attention went straight from Osiris to Loki as he burst onto the scene. He had as she thought, picked the most attention grabbing costume he could. He was making a huge mockery of the All Father and Khaos placed a shadowy hand into her mouth and whistled. Truthfully though something about this party was not enough. It was filling her with energy but it just wasn't getting exciting. It was still not chaotic enough... and it was inevitably going to bore her silly. Maybe she should change things up for herself. This appearance was holding her back. Khaos's mood was extremely fickle and sometimes she could grow tired of even a chaotic scene at a moments notice. So... time to help add to Loki's timely dose of chaos. Making a quick smirk to Osiris, her face still covered in juice. She whispered to him whether he heard her or not. "So sorry if this thing gets a little outta control. You do want to party right?" Spinning away from Osiris her body began to glow and shift. As if to no one or to everyone, her voice echoed throughout the hall. "DaaaannnNNNNCCCCCEEEEE CRAAAAAZZZZZYYYY!!!" The now totally ready to party goddess of madness went and rushed the dance floor. She pointed to the musician's and spoke with her eyes looking about ready to tear him in half if he rejected. "GooD DAnCE MusiC!" Immediately THIS starts playing. Khaos split her legs apart and began to move to the beat with some alarmingly good moves. The results of this would give her a good thrill regardless of the outcome now.
Hades simply blatantly ignored both Khaos and Loki, as if they were invisible she didn't dignify either of them with a response. Hades knew well purely from dealing with Khaos that ignoring her was the easiest way to make her stop. Hades understood that woman well, if something stopped being fun, started being work, started being redundant or monotonous she would drop it immediately. It was for this reason Khaos found her to be the least fun of all the other gods, she was the most predictable and easiest to understand. Naturally Hades nodded towards Nyx though, having something else was good to give her a reason to stay. The talk about how it wasn't so expensive to make one out of things on hand though, Hades only shook his head in reply. "There's the cost of materials, time spent and invested. Inexpensive still implies expense." He explained blankly knowing that there was always a price for everything. Hades after all endeavored to understand the passing of gold and art of business better then anyone else. Though the thought of someone else doing that work for him was a good idea, though he certainly didn't want strings attached. Considering the losses and pros Hades replied with a somewhat non-committal tone. "Perhaps, I'll not create any debts though-- I much rather collect the debts of others then rack up my own." He explained blankly accepting another glass of drink looking at the clear liquid this time knowing it was different from his last glass. Though seeing Nyx's eyes sliding over the area though, Hades seemed to recognize a potential reason quickly. Glancing to Khaos and Loki, then back to Nyx, Hades' response was blank. "If you ignore them they'll lose interest. Truly if more people understood that controlling them would be a simple task." Hades said with a blank shrug knowing that it was unfortunate too many people fueled the fires.
Freya's Third Persona in control Freedom, how long had it been since her violent side got to be in control without the others fighting her? So long she waited for this day, but she was only partly free of their constant sealing of her. Chains rattled as she walked towards the area of the party. It was a day of the dead, how could the goddess that oversaw some of the Norse dead not attend? Blue soulless eyes scanned the party area without much regard that she was wearing something rather revealing. Any present would hear her chains rattling as she approached a mummy reaching both hands upward to take a glass of red wine before she leaned towards their ear whispering for a rather specific drink. Turning on a heel as she noticed one women who stood out in her recent memories. Korra, her feet slowly moving towards the girl before she sensed the god of mischief just as she arrived. Her senses had dulled greatly during her inner imprisonment as she looked at Korra without much expression. "Well, if it is not the women my other two sides rather enjoy the company of... If I was not under oath to cause no harm to others while out this night I would strangle the life out of you with these chains where you stood." Freya moved her arms to let the chains straiten. Korra would recognize the voice much like Loki belonging only to Freya's most chaotic personality. "Sadly I have no time to waste making threats, best watch your back though Korra, Each Persona of myself will be let out this night." If Freya was not stopped she would slowly walk away chuckling and rattling her chains annoyingly trying to break them without looking like she was trying. @Korra Quinn | @Loki
Anyone could tell the young girl was nervous. Her face a brighter shade of red then the ribbon that held her bell around her neck. Shigure, despite having dressed up this way to show Hades was extremely shy about it as she waited in the line. Her feline ears under a fake set of fox ears twitched slowly. Although they looked rather real, her tail was also slipped into the middle of the nine fox tails as it moved them all while it swayed nervously. Her fingers nervously laced between one another under her gloves as she stepped forward in line, a few from being allowed into the party so she could actively start looking for her goddess. Lavender eyes shifting around, she felt out of place among those wearing costumes. it was mostly due to her extreme lack of weapons though. Another person entering before her as she began to consider leaving and simply showing Hades when she got back from the party. But as someone behind her slapped her butt causing her to hiss loudly and turn to uppercut them she felt it was now or never. Sadly the person that had touch her was knocked out cold from the blow as Shigure moved up and lifted her arms to be checked for weapons. A mummy taking away her small daggers in her sleeves as she cried inside. A few more moment before her second set of daggers was removed from her sleeves also. The Mummy glaring at her as she growled and pulled out five shuriken from the back of her outfit. Eyes giving a clear 'that's all I could fit in this, trust me, I tried.' expression to the women. Once waved to go forward she rushed in, her tails swaying happily as she was so close to finding her goddess. She was imagining what Hades might have been dressed as, but sadly she could only see Hades dressed normally. Rushing past a few groups of people before slowing down as she heard the word 'Hades' Eyes scanning around happily looking for the women she admired and belonged to. Little did the Cat folk know her tails brushed across her Goddess leg. But Shigure was not looking at any males since Hades she knew was female. @Hades
Finally spotting two members of his pantheon, Baldr initially intended to approach them, but between Loki's display and Freya's idle threats he couldn't help feeling a great pang of sympathy for the All Father. Another double take showed him just how much Odin must be suffering, taking a brief pause to sigh out his grievances about being his father's last hope, he couldn't help shaking his head slowly buttering words under his breath. "Ah, Father, this must have been what you've been forced to deal with, such tragic choices to rely on. Though you called me back from my idle adventures among the mortals, I've no faith that I can do better then you tried." He could only exhale his grievance. God of Love, Purity, Innocence, Light, Baldr was someone who brought good to people, but his destiny as a god of deception was one that was useful to Odin in these situations. Taking a faster sip of his mead, as if knowing he'd need it he downed his mug sharply before making sure he was presentable once more. "Freya, Freya-- Dear Freya, A word of calm please-- Time of calm even. Have you no mind for direction? Mind for understanding?" He asked trying to halt the girl's advance with a hand, Baldr knew he couldn't fix these two, no fixing them was something that was beyond anyone-- they were far too broken, far too oblivious. The words the God of light would use to insult their level of insight and usefulness could go on like a waterfall, but he restrained himself knowing that tongue and cheek might be more vicious then any kind of steel these people might brandish. "Let's not be aimless here, blind or unaware mm? Surely there are much better people for you to threaten, more important places to clash don't you think?-- Do you think?" He couldn't help asking that last bit with a genuine concern since the woman wasn't all together, it was unfortunately tedious but he felt he had to ask anyway. "Let's think shall we? Why are you here?" He asked bringing his hands together hoping to take things one step at a time.
Freya's Third Persona in control Freya's expression was dull when she glanced over the sun of her Ex husband. His outstretched hand towards her next to draw her focus before she looked back up to his face as he spoke. Freya had two hand signs for him also however. Slowly lifting her hands up, her right an extended middle finger towards the annoying god of light, while the left was raised to her lips as she motioned to zip her mouth shut before pointing the same hand to him. "I don't want to hear your voice child of Odin. Go spread you voice of reason elsewhere, these ears don't wish to hear them this night." Freya spoke in a cold tone as she lowered her hands. Slowly moving to the right to walk around the god before her as she growled inside. She hated that child of Odin more then any of them. His pursuit for perfection could be ruined so easily with a right hook to his face. The thought drawing just a faint smile to her face as she went looking for a god that spoke her language. The language of burning the world down while laughing from the side lines. The goddess began to wonder if Khaos was attending the party. Surely they would lend a hand in her efforts to destroy things. @Baldr
