Seeking.... (Celsius)

Discussion in 'Orarian Plains' started by Khaos, Oct 29, 2016.

  1. The plains that spread out from the city chosen as the base of the gods, Orario, Green fields that were slowly but surely becoming less pleasant with the coming winter so very close. The road led off into yonder and various caravans traveled it with average frequency. Something some may find odd was a person that could be seen far from the road. Sitting upon a large rock that jagged out from the earth. Upon approach, this person would be recognized by the well informed as Khaos, the primordial god of chaos.

What in the world was a goddess of chaos doing in such a dull place sitting on a rock? Actually she was doing more than one would think. Her body seemed relaxed but her mind was going through a ton of topics, options, ideas, and schemes. As for choice of location... maybe it really didn't matter.

Khaos pulled her head back and stared seemingly straight into the sun. Not blinking even as the blinding light laid siege to her physical eyes. The blurring effect reminded her of her past existence. Back then much of everything was a blur and impossible to fully feel or touch. Being physical had it's benefits for sure. Too bad that some things even she could not avoid from happening. It was her simply her nature...

  2. It was actually very nice out this day, as Celsius had decided to go outside the borders of Orario to gather some materials he could use to practice his weaving. One of the most basic materials he could use for such a thing was a very specific type of grass that was a little ways out, but still fairly close by. If he gathered enough clumps of the grass, he'd be able to turn it into cotton, which could then in turn be made into sheets of cloth, and so on and so forth. The more he practiced this particular craft, the better the product he could create before moving on to other materials. Thinking of such prospect was enough to bring the slightest smile to his face. That smile, however, would soon fade as something caught his peripheral vision from the side. What was that? Something pink perched upon a rock caught his eyes... no wait. This was a someone.

He stopped after passing a few feet by it, turning his head to take a better look at who, or what it was upon the rock. No, this was definitely a person. A woman, at that. That alone already made him feel slightly uneasy. And yet at the same time, curiosity was rearing its head within his mind, influencing him to step closer and see who this mysterious person was, and what exactly they were doing just laying around on top of a rock. It was really odd, and a bit creepy considering her eyes were just staring up at nothing but the sky.

    "Um... hello? Are... you alright?"

  3. Something alive was approaching. Khaos was nearly impossibly to sneak up on due to her ability to feel the energy of others. Her head snapped almost inhumanly at the boy who spoke. her eyes saw a strong glare from the sunlight even now, but it would fade quickly. This body was made to be as healthy and adaptable as possible for mortal world. After all, why would a god of discord want a body that was so meek that it couldn't handle the nefarious deeds it tried to carry out?

As the glare cleared up, Khaos made out the blond boy before her. His question and looks made him appear a good aligned person. Of course looks can be deceiving and the most deceiving always are impressive to Khaos. At least for a while. The goddess lowered her intense presence significantly as she jumped down from her rock and stretched out with a few exercises. As she bent forward and back and reached for her toes, she spoke to the boy. Khaos's voice was very normal in tone and seemed to lack much of the distortion that usually accompanies it. Even so, her style of speaking was as ridiculous as usual in other ways.

"Alright? Khaos is always alright if not for a few things here and there. It isn't possible for this girl to be not alright or is that a wrong? Did Khaos look not alright?"

As the weird goddess put herself into a prasarita position she hummed to herself. Her twintails hanging into the grass as she spoke through her legs at the mortal.

"If you couldn't tell. Khaos is terrific. Now are you alright? Really, truly, seriously? That's what you should be wondering. Most people are not alright. They always need something or other.... right?"

Khaos giggled as she returned to neutral position and did a quick split into the grass. Raising her hands up. She pointed to the sky.

"How high do you want to fly? Some just want to crawl into the dirt. So Nasty! This world is always finding someone who wants to do something, with or for someone. Do you want to do something for someone kid?"

Jumping back up she patted her hands together and turned to him. Her mad eyes peered at the mortal as she began to analyse him better now. He was not one who made a very strong statement. Her boredom of him would come sooner rather than later. Unless he was so naive as to play along with her. If so, she could get some fun out of his strife.

"What are you called blondie? Khaos is Khaos. Maybe you could do something to make the day better for us both.... maybe. Or you could be more useless than a bag of rocks."

A gentle smile formed on the deities face.
