While many people in the city were taking a rest before going into the dungeon, Naburo and Ash Kolvan were out on the second floor making their way to the third floor after having assisted a brand new party of Adventurers. It was easy to tell the newbies from the experienced. The newbies tended to have too much of a gap between each other while the others tended to be somewhat grouped up and alert. It was times like these where the dungeon was getting ready for its annual reset that made Naburo happy. Yes, most of the better items were taken by now, but it also meant the creatures and monsters would be that much stronger. As he walked down the small incline, Naburo silently motioned ahead. Ahead of them was a sole adventurer panting from either exhaustion or tiredness. Naburo was pondering approaching the adventurer but stopped when he had decided against it. This was only the 3rd floor at the moment and thus it didnt exactly mean death, unless you were careless. As they walked by the adventurer Naburo tossed him a bottle of water before once more walking. This was the entrance to their first adventure together. The two of them had known each other for two months, and thus they had a small inkling of how each other would act in front of an enemy. Both also were the silent knowledgable type, thus they tended to think before acting. All this though could not speak of how prepared they were. Naburo had only just bought himself two potions with borrowed money from a loaner, and his equipment was in sore need of repair. But this was why they were here. They had seen a quest on the board asking for Soul Stones of any creature, this also meant that they could possibly receive an equal or maybe greater reward than normal. It was the perfect quest. At least that was how Naburo thought of it. He wasn't inclined to think for Ash, but he knew the guy was happy enough to come along even if the both of them were without s god or goddesses blessing. So finally Naburo and Ash were away from the entrance to the third floor and it was...quiet. Taking in a deep breath and then closing his eyes he spoke in a soft tone. "I think...its time that we began our quest, don't you think Ash?" With those words he placed his hand against the wall and began to concentrate. Listening to the beat of his heart, the slow breathing of Ash, the man's foot steps ascending the slope, and then finally the open paths before them. So many different paths in this place that he could sense thanks to his skill Nature Boy. Taking another deep breath he spoke while still keeping his eyes closed. "We have four different paths in front of us, my instincts say to go the furtherst left, but I will also let you decide if you think we should go another route." A moment later he opened his eyes and then looked at his friend. Left, Right, Center Left, or Center Right. Four choices, one result, this was the way they would start their journey in the dungeon. Rubbing his head as he pondered what Ash would decide, Naburo continued to keep up his concentration. He did not want anyone or anything sneaking up on them, so he remained where he was near the wall, his right hand still pressed against it trying to feel any sort of vibration. @Sleepy Ash
The time of day was mid-day, prior to entering the dungeon floor Ash had sleeping under a old cherry blossom tree located in the park. The slumber was indeed enjoyable with nature's wonders being the musical tone filling his eardrums. Ash couldn't ask for a more peaceful nap, even with the children running around and playing their little games. Oncoming was a familar scent that linger in the atmosphere, the smell was mortal...Chienthrope to be precies. The cold thin material fell atop of his face, his ears twitched while he move his hand front of his face - clipping the material by the nails of his finger tips. Liberating a sigh from his lungs, his eyes bestowed upon the material reading every word. Smoothing cross his thin creamy lips was a smirk, instantly leaping to his feet he tossed the paper in the wind. Dusting himself off he liberated these words. "Lead the way Naburo.." Present: Tracing Naburo foot steps into the Dungeon lower floors, one after another, the smell of blood from different creatures could be smelt - however the scent of human blood was the most clearest to the nose of the wolf. It was a scent that he knew all too well, staring off to the side while his clothing fluttered with each passing movement. The long sliver bangs came flopping with his head movement, and fast paced walking which was needed in order to keep up with Naburo. Honestly it was a pain walking with a Chienthrope who was eager to travel into the depths of the beast. Likewise, both needed the cash for new armor and weapons. Ash's had to admit he was one who needed new armor, the clothes on his back was nothing more then tribal clothing that could easily be destroyed. Another sigh was liberated through his creamy lips. A swift halt came with his visual orbs meet with the adventure who was alone, barely within the third floor and already out of breath? Humorist. He was weak. This annoyed him more than Naburo fast paced walking, this human had the smell of fresh blood on him, his party must've died. Seeing the water that was thrown to him, Ash reached into the depths of his cloak taking some leftover meat from the market. Tossing it to the male while following behind the human once more. Those annoying words Naburo spoke was entirely foolish. "Shut up... and keep your ears open." Despite his harsh words that spoke the brutal truth, this was Ash's way of agreeing with him. Looking at Naburo do something weird against the wall of the carven was like watching a man try to hug the earth. Ash wasn't stupid his mind swift figured out what he was doing, however he had other things dwelling on his mind. The scent of blood that was becoming thicker with each bypassing step the two took into the dungeon, what had that adventure patting for his life.... Some monster of course. Cracking his neck a couple of times, in the left and right direction, Ash closed his visual prowess focusing on the nature within Ash's ears twitched several times before he answered the Chienthrope question. His primal senses didn't pick up on anything interesting but the smell of blood was the strongest right. Probably best to avoid that area for now at least, who knows maybe the paths overlaped. That would cause most trouble for the two, indeed. Looking at the Chienthrope with a stern expression that faded faster then a brewing storm. "Left it is..." His tone of voice was calm, showing the laziness kicking in already. Pressing forward his vessel started to march down the path Naburo had suggested, carefully marching with his hands drawn behind his neck. Breathing in and out, while keeping his eyes ahead, so far the path seemed narrow and long, visibility was deeming swiftly. The end was approching but how long in till reaching the end? An cracking sound could be heard in the far distance - causing Ash to come to a swift halt with his hands coming down from his neck in unsion. His talons brought forth, while he came to steady stance where his body was lowered but balance. Much like a wolf's appearance about to attack. His ears stuck up while his tail carelessly caressed the earthen soil below. Bearing Fangs from the mouth, his devilish orbs stared into the far distance. "Hear that...." he'd asked. @Naburo Keilz
While Naburo was listening to everything around him with his eyes now open, he remembered a few things he disliked. He disliked Ash's personality a bit, but he could deal with it especially since his job was to assist all adventurers. Taking one deep breath and then following after Ash, Naburo couldn't help but imagine driving his sword through the man's back, but for now, he would calm himself by continuing his concentration on the things ahead of him. It was a moment later that not only did he sense some sort of creature, but he had also heard it. His instincts kicked in, his eyes narrowed and his concentration was broken. They had found their first target or more. He couldn't tell anymore; his blood lust and Ash's blood lust for the creature; made it almost impossible to not rush in and attempt to get the kill. Taking a deep breath to calm his blood lust, Naburo spoke softly. "Of course, though I can't tell if it is alone or not." Even if it wasn't alone he knew Ash well enough that the werewolf would have his back and visa versa. So who would step forward first? Seeing Ash in the ready stance, Naburo slowly withdrew his short sword and then knife before walking forward. As he did so it was apparent that whatever this creature was, it was NOT alone. He could hear some grunting ahead as well as shuffling feet. Silently he peered around the corner he was able to see what it was. Two goblins; green and one red. This was going to be interesting. Looking at Ash, he signaled that there were three enemies; 1 would be difficult the others would be easy. That was his opinion, He had toiled with a Crazed Goblin before, they were the nasty sort; which would be good because both of them had some blood lust to get out of their systems before they returned to the city. As he awaited to see what Ash would do, Naburo slightly bent down and then took a deep breath. Now was the time to see if there was more behind these goblins that he had seen. Combat had not been entered yet, so he was able to do this, but with concentration broken, he would take a while to build it back up. How would he be able to do this with a werewolf behind him, easy focus on how the council leader would be disappointed in him if he argued or fought again. Taking a deep breath once more, his eyes closed and he was able to concentrate. Listening to the goblins talk to themselves; or rather...eat something...Naburo almost grimaced when he sensed what it was. It was another adventurer. Dead of course, but it was one of the adventurers. Well after getyting over the fact that they were eatting a human, he could sense that there was nothing else behind those three. Taking a small breath he broke concentration again and then nodded that it was time to attack. Standing up, Naburo slowly walked around the corner to where the three could see him. As soon as he did he broke into a dash quickly in order to surprise attack them. It didnt take too long for them to notice him, but by the time they had and had managed to grab their weapons he was already upon them. Arching back from the crazed trying to bite at him, Naburo countered the red one with a swift kick to to side so as to unbalance the creature. Now...it would all be up to Ash. Would the man come to Nabu's assistance or leave him there to deal with these three on his own. Even if he had to fight alone, Naburo could take them; he had enough confidence in his skills to admit that. But he did enjoy fighting in pairs; even if the partner was a werewolf. @Sleepy Ash
The rousing danger in the distance was nothing compared to the danger in the wilderness however, these monster were not like the beast in the wilderness either. The flagitious lust calmed with a clever smirk while he followed Naburo on all four, watching him move silently was like watching a cow trying to sneak up on a fox. His footing was a more annoying than not being able to devour him. Soon enough the cousin of his own species rushed outward for a sneak attack. Alarming the three monsters, reaching for their weapons they'd tired, however, Naburo sent a swift kick to the crimson creature first. Grasping their weapons and rushing towards Naburo...only to cease all movement by the atrocious howl projecting from behind their vessel. In bravery the two turned around rushing into the darkness only to meet a creature far worse than Naburo himself. Splitting through the darkness came a horrific hand with razor sharp talons latching onto the monster on the right while another hand swiftly extended in the form of a ball; plunging his fist into the stomach of the second with the uplift motion carrying his vessel into the air at least three feet from the earthen soil. In sync with these actions Ash had already body slammed the first goblin with brutal strength alone into the earth beneath them causing a light shock. Saliva poured from the beast's mouth with fangs turning crimson and a tearing sound sinking into the atmosphere with several sounds mixing; the pleading of a low-rank beast who was being devoured by a much larger beast, and breaking of bones. Rotating his head in a violent twist like action the monster's volume lowered while the other tried fleeing leaving all weapons behind. While a crimson blood dripped from the mouth of the immoral creature, Ash embracing his overbearing prowess focused a bit of energy into his lower region, releasing an enormous force from his legs would send his vessel forward towards the fleeing goblin. Errkkk... Blood tainted the earthen soil. Ash held the little creature by the arm dragging his body, trying so hard to break free from the werewolf's grasp, only lead to Ash crushing his entire arm with brutal force. Breaking weak creatures bones came with ease for such a powerful beast like himself. Seeing Naburo in the distance still dealing with such a low-rate creature pissed Ash to point where he tossed the creature into the air, only to impale him with his hand. Retracting his hand from the lime-green vessel Ash pressed towards the one taking his sweet time. "Having trouble?" Ash asked while looking at the underlying that was related to his kind. The scent of blood covered Ash, clothing stained with blood while his mouth and hands drip the crimson juice. Leaving Naburo to finish his deed, his ears started to twitch as he heard sounds of crawling, narrowing his visual while walking towards the sound he saw the remains of the adventure. Apparently, goblins didn't take the time out to cook their meal but eat them while still alive. The female had her clothes ripped apart, from the breast down was torn exposing several vital organs and blood. Her face wasn't much of a beautiful site either, however, she did raise her hand up into the air towards Ash. Smacking the hand away, Ash stepped over the woman's corspe and started walking deeper into the dungeon. No remorse over the half dead woman laying with missing body parts, however, Ash did remember the male's face they'd seen eariler. Ash would make it his life long mission to kill that soul for leaving his party to die. @Naburo Keilz
While Ash was off dealing with the two regular Goblins, Naburo was toying with the red one. Yes, it was dangerous to toy with a mad creature, but Naburo was experienced in fighting these creatures so he knew what they would do two moves ahead of them. Watching as the red goblin grimaced in pain at a broken arm, Nab laughed before sending another kick into its face causing the goblin to fall to its knees. While it was stunned and on its knees Naburo held it there by placing his sword against the creatures neck. It was fun to watch a creature realize it was outplayed. While the creature continued to try and fight back, Naburo was quietly listening to the goblins behind him die a quick death. That was one thing Naburo did not like about Ash, he enjoyed killing fast, Naburo on the hand enjoyed watching as the life slowly drained from their bodies. Just how this crazed goblin was figuring that out. Small cut here, small cut there with his sword, six oddly placed cuts that continued to bleed with no signs of stopping. Finally, as Ash approached him from behind Naburo chuckled darkly before replying to him. "It's fun watching them slowly die, but I'll wrap it up now. Just continue down the path, I didn't sense anything else for a good while so I guess these three were alone." Once he had replied to Ash, Naburo walked backward a bit and then leaped forward skewering the crazed goblin in the throat. Chuckling as the goblin flailed trying to get the sword out, Naburo spoke silently. "May you pass in the light and return to which you came." It was his habit to say that to everything he killed, creature, human, or animal. Was it a good or bad habit? He didn't know, he did know that some people appreciated it a lot though especially the new adventurers that died. Once he pulled the sword out he watched as the goblin died quickly to blood loss and then dematerialized leaving its soul stone. Collecting the piece, he went to go collect the other two and then began following after Ash. When Ash had stepped over the woman, Naburo had to stop. The poor woman was still alive. He hand still stretched out as if asking to be rescued; there was no rescue for this woman. She was already dead, or rather on death's doormat. Naburo softly smiled as he held her hand and looked into her soft green eyes. If she hadn't formed a party of pure new adventures she would have lived, but such was like in the dungeon. Some people died when others deserved to live. As he looked into her eyes; with his other hand he drew out his small dagger and then with a small bit of pressure he pushed it into the woman's ribcage breaking its protective bones and then stabbing the heart. A quick and merciful death. He wouldn't want it any other way for himself either. Sighing he cleaned his blade and then stood up. But had spotted a small pouch that was by her personage. Looking into it, it had about ten more soul stones. The woman had performed above standard. this caused him to sigh once more, but in frustration. Did such a woman have to die without having once made it out of the dungeon? Musing in his head with about a million different questions, Naburo put the pouch in his pack along side the other three before catching up to Ash. Once he was next to Ash he remained quiet. There was still the scent of blood in the air, and it was making this dangerous duo slightly anxious for more action. That was pure because neither were satisfied with just taking on three creatures. They wanted a challenge, no, they NEEDED a challenge. Looking up at the ceiling Naburo spoke. "Thirteen soul stones so far. I'm not quite satisfied with this number yet. I think we should shoot for 50 plus stones." Even if Ash didn't agree, he knew Ash would stay, at least for now he would; until he was satisfied with the blood he had spilled. Speaking of blood, Naburo checked his sword and began to clean as they walked. It was always best to keep your weapons and collections cleaned, otherwise, they would expire with rusted blood and rust itself. As he cleaned the blades they came upon a smoldering campfire and four more bodies, each one partially eaten and dead. Sighing again he spoke. "Seems we found their camp, we might as well look around and see if we find anything that says what happened to them while on their journey." The words he spoke, he instantly began to help himself to whatever he could find. It was the law of the dungeon, what belonged to dead belonged to the living. Tossing aside old weapons and armor; he finally found one piece of a map. The map pointed to a very large X that said danger, keep out. It semed ether they found a treasure room or someone else had died. Either case, he felt like they should explore it; but this area was at the right side back where they came from. @Sleepy Ash
Ash Kovlan a soul without a purpose, or meaning in a world filled with various living creatures. The sound of footsteps behind him could only mean that Naburo had finished, not caring what happened to the woman, nor enough emotions to ask about the matter. Pushing forward was all Ash could do at the mommet. Dwelling on the fact that the scent of blood was this strong was because of a party that had failed in teamwork but also died bother Ash; all life matter no matter what the case. The friction in his silver brows could be seen, while the clenching on his fist came with the intense emotion building inside. The mantra oozing from his persona was an immense force that was brewing by the second, a storm shaking the tide, while darkness rode on the horse of vengeance. Ahead a small fire could be seen, coming into visual radius several tents were spotted alongside several bodies. Each impaled with some sort of blade-like weapon. Ash remained mute while walking over to the bodies, coming to squat position in unison with his hand closing the eyes of the dead. Searching their persona for any vital information. His hands ran across the male's torso pockets, then side pockets. A pouch filled to the brim of soul stones, perhaps twenty or more. The next body was an elf maiden dressed in a white dressed soaked in blood, the site was unbearing a spear plunge through the stomach, in her hand laid a small brown book. Ash swiftly took the book, unbuttoning the strap and flipping through the filled pages , some sort of diary or log. "It's been several days within the dungeon, our party had ventured all the way down to the fourth floor. Encountering many monsters, our party was clever and laid out many traps beforehand. Nami was a huge help today as well, she used support magic to heal our wounds, while Lam delivered most of the attacks with Ace. Ace was extremely handsome wielding his sword, I often see Nami staring at him from afar... its kinda cute in a way." Day Two: "We'd ran into an another party, a bunch of brutes at first we didn't know if they were friendly. They'd seem tired and out of energy, Lam being the friendly typed offered them to stay the night with our party. The party had two girls, and three boys, one which was Boaz and another a werewolf. This was my first time seeing a female Boaz, she was huge like an Ox and had long red hair. The werewolf was a broad male who carried a large sword on his back, his skills must've been high to carry that monster. The rest were humans, the leader of their party was a blonde boy with a spear. We'd often talked a bit... Pages Torn... Day Seven: ".....It happened so fast, our parties were separated and ambushed; Lam was killed before my eyes, Ace took my hand running away while what was left our party had followed behind. I remember watching the werewolf fight too by time. The Boaz female had disappeared, I lost sight of her... there were only me, Nami, Ace and the two humans from the other party left. We'd sat up camp once we'd made it back to the third floor, not knowing how long we ran with fear in our hearts... I watched Nami cry for several moments, during the night I heard Ace and one of the humans fighting over what to do... Ace was stabbed by him... I hide in my tent with a knife.. I didn't know what was happening, however, I heard a scream that came from Nami and then the sound of footsteps came! No...they'd followed us here? As I raced out of my tent... " Ash had come to the end finally, the last part was clear on what had happened. This woman was impaled by the spear being thrown from a distance, Ash looking ahead and saw another female body she was hardly dressed, dressed in underwear...perhaps asleep when the attack amongst the party had happened. She probably tried to run...sadly she was killed.. An Axe laid in her spinal cord. Ash turned his head looking over the male known as Ace a knight who was killed in an argument - Naburo had searched him already. A few meters behind Ash laid bloody footsteps that laid in the direction he'd and Naburo had come from. So the dead woman was part of this party. Then the conclusion hit Ash as he rose to his feet, the male from before was the male who stabbed the knight and fled from danger. Scanning the remaining area Ash walked around a took one of the iron swords that laid on the floor, turning his vessel slight to the side where he saw another weapon a spear, removing it from the body, he held the weapon in his hand. Looking towards Naburo he opened his mouth, liberating the promise that reflected a different man. "When we return... I'm throwing this spear at that coward.." Ash then reached behind him inside the pocket removing the pouch he found seconds ago, tossing it towards his comrade. @Naburo Keilz
The silence from Ash was alarming enough. As he looked up from the map, he could visually see the male get more and more upset. Sighing quietly he walked toward him, it wasn't till he was able to read the journal that he noticed why the male had been so silent. This person...the one that had killed the guy to the left...was responsible for not only a murder, but 5 first degreee murders in the span of a few hours. How could anyone really do this to a group of adventurers. Clenching his fist as he looked down at the poor woman that was dead, Naburo took a deep breath. If he was anyone else he would have immediately agreed with Ash, but seeing as how his job as a council member came first and his feelings after it did make him think before acting a lot. Knowing Ash would be upset and with good reason, Naburo walked away toward the female that had died by her tent and then spoke while closing the female's eyes. "Howvere much I agree with you...my job at this current moment is to ensure that man faces justice for what he did to this party. We will take him to the tribunal and have him face the consequences of his actions." He knew Ash would dislike that, and he hoped the man would understand why Naburo was not wanting to kill the man. Naburo was going to make an example of him. Taking a third deep breath he attempted to control his rage but he found his body unable to control it. This was going to take a lot of patience to deal with. It was a moment later that he realized this blood would attract more than just him and Ash. Looking up and then around he sighed. "Damn it..." They were now surrounded by ten plus goblins and kobolds. Well, he should have expected this really. Sighing he slowly stood up and then pulled out his two blades. Looking at one of the kobolds, Naburo chuckled before slicing the things ear completely off and then spinning and raising a kick to have it land against the creatures' head. A sickening snap and then it landing in one fluid motion was confirmation that it had instantly died. With one already dead it had set all the creatures off. Surrounded, Naburo laughed and spoke to Ash. "You going to just sit there and admire the scenery or are you going to come and help me?" With those words he began fighting against the heavy odds. There were 9 creatures left: 3 crazed goblins, 1 kobold crusher, 2 rock slinger goblins, and 3 Kobold Runners. The target now for Naburo was the runners. If they escaped somehow it meant that there would be more, a lot more to come. @Sleepy Ash | 400+ wc
Repleting high dudgeon for the first time in decades; since the death of his mother. The clenching of his fist broke the fabric flesh material in his hand causing blood to be freed from his veins. Relocating his attention on the Naburo in sync with his words being liberated from his throat, the mere words of letting this unpicturesque soul free - In those seconds Ash had erased his existence in a fail swoop. While dusk was conjured from the earthen soil from the dungeon, Ash would transcend one foot and a half from Naburo current location. Extending his arm, his hand pressed against the cold steel like material of the hilt of the sword - the crimson dyed tip inches away from Naburo's neck. The nefarious mantra liberating from his persona, breathtaking enough to send an innocent soul in a state of paralyzing fear. Drifting into his nostrils was the faint scent of the unwelcomed company; perhaps for the best. Ash turned his back in unison with Naburo leaping into battle, Ash then started to walk towards the craven where the two had to descend from. The mission was over, Ash had no more reason to be here, however, a Goblin thought to sneak up on Ash with a blade pressing into the fabric of his clothes. Ash swift sidestepped with one foot tracing over the other. Shifting the weight of the vessel parallel of the Goblins while swing his left arm in horizontal motions sent the old blade ripping through the flesh, thick crimson liquid sprayed from the body, leaving Ash drenched. Feeling the cut on his lower rib area, Ash groaned not in pain but relief he would be able to let lose here. Perhaps even kill Naburo along with the mindless beast. Focusing his eyes in the direction of actions, enemies closing in at the very second was like an ambush...certain child's play. Ash wouldn't die here...however, Naburo was a far more different story... Ash never had the time to actually stop and take off the chains bounding him from letting out the inner animal. In three minutes or less the two Goblins along with the kobold crusher, now rushing towards Ash. Curving into a sinister smirk, spreading his feet four inches apart while drawing his arms center to his torso, already leaving the sword behind. His stance was similar to that of a Pro Boxer, starting to craft friction within the feet which traveled through the cycle of movement - leaning toward with the right knee bent while his left foot slide backward against the rocky surface. The cracking on the earth could be heard in sync with a loud shock impaling the eardrums of the monster, dulling their sense of hearing. This wasn't some sort of skill but mere physical prowess. Transmitting his body accelerating with a regnant fist launched into the Kobold's facial area, instantly smashing his skull. A shockwave was seen exiting his soul, swiftly retracting his vessel in a series of footwork his vessel moved at the highest speed he could deliver. HAAAAA! His lungs roared loudly, like a thunderstorm each punch landing hits on the vessel of the Goblins. A far one would see Ash's body accelerating with rapid punches being feed into the body of the Goblin while the two served him back with the same amount of punches. Uncommon for a mere goblin to leave arms and resort to a fist fight. Ash moving his vessel inward, making each punch count. In the midsit of his fist cracking against the Goblins torso his foot slammed into the earthen soil causing both to lose their balance. His rager unleashed at max. Mantra spiraled cross his vessel in blue flickers of bolts, the sliver strands of hair started to stand on his crown. While uplifting for several seconds his fist drawing back earning enough force for sheer impact. Throwing his all into this attack Ash roared like a wild beast! His rage ascending beyond the heavens! "Velocity God!" A blue flash of light filled a radius of twenty meters in circular motions traveling from the earthen soil below, uplifting from below into the heavens. Lightning currents bursting from the earth shocking all within the radius, in this case, the beast Ash was fighting would've died from merely being shocked several times over. Screaming while he brought his vessel up for one last hit among the Goblin, shifting all the weight into his vessel into the hit which came from underneath the Goblins body, into the shape of a uppercut that would naturally send him into the air. Through the magic of his attack, the both a physical hit and lightning struck out impaling his entire vessel. Leaving him frying crips onto the earthen soil. The aftermath was starting the shift from the scene, while sparks of electricity still formulated around Ash's vessel keeping him from moving, one could see the beaten he'd taken but also the blood smudges trailing his face, arms, and torso. Like a being on another level, a vast mantra of electricity flowed around him symboling the strength of his magical prowess. Totally useless for a couple of minutes, Ash held a clean smirk cross his lips. His eyes trailed the rest of enemies, watching Naburo from afar. His heart race, while his body sore in various locations. Reaching his limit, Ash knew he had to push forward with his physical traits in order to make it out of the dungeon alive. @Naburo Keilz
The timing was perfect, the excitement was boiling, his whole being felt like it was on fire. Naburo was in his element. The heavy odds against him and ash were slowly wilting down like a flower's death. Two goblins approached him both with snarls, in return Naburo growled before slicing one's neck open. The spray of blood coated his face and then he laughed while stabbing another. The laughter and then the fact he was smiling while fighting would seem scary and dangerous to most people, but he knew Ash wouldn't mind. After all, both of them had traits of their race in them that the embraced wholeheartedly. While yes it was embraced it was also tested, it was also brought to the surface. When the Goblin runners attempted to flee, that was when Naburo tried to chase but he found his legs unable to move, only because there stood 4 more goblins rushing him. His body was sore, his arms scarred, and he was bleeding pretty well. While he faces the others he looked toward Ash and spoke, "Get the runners." With those words said he quickly started fighting the other goblins. This was going to be a headache. he could tell. Not only that but Eliah was going to rip him a new one for getting outmanned by goblins and kobolds. After a few more minutes he had finished dispatching the 4 goblins meaning they only had the runners left. Those two were all up to Ash. So looking around Naburo scanned for the soul stones. Collecting them he counted how many they had so far. The ending number came out to 48 soul stones and if Ash got the other two that would make 50, a nice large number that suited this quest. The line said easy but this wasn't an easy quest for either of Ash nor Naburo. Taking a deep breath, Naburo looked toward where Ash had run off toward.
Ash watched from afar seeing Naburo actions, telegraphing his movement with his visual prowess. Ash was stun and couldn't move, electricity flickered around his vessel repeatedly in session, once or twice above the torso while several times around the nether region of the thigh and leg area. Certain shocks were felt within the hand that had made contact with the earthen soil of the dungeon. Calmly breathing trying to regain some form of energy. The runners ran off with a head start, Naburo didn't have the energy to chase after them and instead of forcing his vessel to move, he told Ash to chase them down. Ash looked at him with a stupid expression, how was he gonna chase anyone down in his condition. The odds were slim with Ash's choice of action while his body was still in shock and pain, moving a bit while leaning down pressing his hand against the soft soil of the earthen texture. Breathing in slowly he knew this would cause him more pain then the Goblins runner. His fingers wrapped around something hard, retracting from earth he drew two arrows, his eyes searching for the bow, finding it near Naburo; racing over to him stumbling to his knee's while sliding a bit. Pulling the bow from the dead body, placing the two arrows within the string and drawing back with both arrows pointed in the direction the Runners had run off too. Breathing heavily while he knew would put them at risk, however, it was the only option for now. Ash expelling oxygen from his lungs whispered several words beneath his breath, bring one knee for a proper stance to balance himself. Ash had never used a bow in his life, not knowing this would work but he was confident in magic abilities. Drawing back a bit more, while the fabrication of the blue flickers emerges around his vessel more intensive this time, sparking rapidly and flowing across the earthen soil. In theory, electricity followed metal without a doubt - Releasing both arrows in the direction, a powerful current was pulled from his vessel. In response, his body flew back within a powerful shock while in the distance his arrow flew with the lightning flowing closely behind. Once the arrows made contact his lightning magic would travel across the earthen soil within seconds chasing down the Goblins and stunning them, while the second arrow came into the soil with another current of lightning travelling in order to kill the Goblins... The screams echoed through the craven and Ash laid on his back while dealing with more pain than ever before. "That fucking worked?
