  1. Fractured
    Season 1 - Chapter 2

Standing together the mismatched group of adventurers, @Eliah Tsundora, @Naburo Keilz, @Aaron Bright, @Celsius Snowfang, @Ike, and @Korra Quinn managed to defeat the Dungeon Shadow and its spawns and barely escaped death from above. Within the hour, the storm caused by Zeus’ temperament subsided as well. The water, on the other hand, took some time to finish draining from the city. Before they could celebrate a monumental victory, however, Ouranos made a grand entrance together with Odin and his squad of Valkyries. Once he had assessed the situation and addressed Zeus’ crime against the divine oath, he had the Valkyries arrest Zeus and escorted him to the prison beneath the Hall of Gods, sharp blades against Zeus’ neck. Knowing that he had done wrong, Zeus mutter not a word as he waited in his cold cell, awaiting his fate.

To restore order to the city, Ouranos sent messengers out, alerting all gods that there is to be an emergency Denatus starting in the evening the following days. The letter reads:

    Honorable God/Goddess

As you had stand witness to Zeus’ usage of his power, bringing destruction and chaos to the mortal realm. Many infrastructures were destroyed and lives were forfeited this day. Orario has seen a great loss at the hand of irresponsible divining.

You must answer the call of the Denatus tomorrow in the eventide. We will deliberate the horrific event that has transpired this day and establish rules for the use of power in the days to come. The Council does not expect to finish its deliberation in one day as we shall meet again in the weeks to come to determine Zeus’ fate.

    Sincerely,

    Ouranos

As the gods gather to either help or incriminate the almighty father, sides begin to form. It is the first time an event of this magnitude has ever happened and for some, it was the opportunity to engage in the intrigue and get what they want.

  2. On the day of the Denatus, gods of low and high esteem filled up the Hall of Gods around the midday. As they spent their time engaging in their social rituals and political negotiation, the mood around the Hall became progressively heavier by the hours. When Odin openly garnering support to banish Zeus and ban all divine power, Skadi, one of his several wives revealed that she had stolen his personal artifact, the Eye of Mimir, which power can be used to look at the vision of the past and the future.

In her shortsightedness and inability to read the tension in the Hall, Skadi was about to use the all-seeing eye to confirm Zeus’ crime, but was stopped by Odin in the nick of time. As the tension culminated, the council of gods broke down into bickering and accusations. To quell the riot and perhaps for her own benefit, Hera ripped a sword from the hand of one of the Valkyries and hurled it at the artifact, drawing Odin’s blood in the sacred hall. This would result in an increase in tension and conflict between the Norse and the Greek pantheon.

Humiliated and betrayed, the aggrieved Odin left the Hall and withdrew all of his prior support of the Deitic Council, as well as his seat at the upper echelon. With the Denatus falling into complete anarchy, Ouranos used his god voice to banish all gods from the Hall of Gods, aside from those who prove themselves worthy thereafter. Although Ouranos was going to hold a democratic vote to decide Zeus fate, he rescinded his decision and took charge of it. For the moment, Zeus will continued to be held in the confine beneath the sacred Hall.
