Dark thought Pallum _____Auriel was truly finding it harder to go about each of her daily task, and just stay resolved to keep living. Sure she promised her adopted parents and people of her town she would rise and become the replacement for Fiona for all Pallum, but that was a mountain much to high for her to climb. Her head hung low as she walked the streets in silence among the ruins of the old city. _____Outside the plains around the city Auriel liked the ruins second best. It was a visual version of how she felt inside. While the architecture showed so much grace and care, love and compassion the interior was rotted away and ready to give way at any moment. A light sigh escaped her lips as she raised her focus slightly to see where she was going. _____Auriel did not feel like going back to the Military barracks to be ordered around some more before her day ended so she took a right turn to go the long way back to the head quarters. The sun slowly moved behind storm clouds as the weather seemed to only further the darkness the small Pallum was giving off. She just gave off the vibe that she was ready to just curl up and die from whatever came to claim her life or starvation. In truth that was the warring state Auriel had had in her mind since she failed to heal someone before they died in her arms. Any more negativity was likely to push her beyond return, yet deep down she was still trying to hold onto the last flicker of light in her dark thoughts and mind as she walked. A stray drop of the approaching rain rolling down her face, or was it a tear from her eye? @Korra Quinn
Korra idly passed the time as she usually did, looking for cute girls to chase and tease, Korra pursued a great many things and people with her days, but there were after all times when she'd just spend a day with Kirin or chasing after one of her other summons who'd yet to comply with her calls. She thought about spending the time in the ruins of the old town when Kirin's head turned with a huff, it's nostrils flaring in interest as it found a foreign smell it wasn't used to. It caused Korra to turn her head towards the source, glancing towards where the pallum girl was sitting with a curious expression. A warm grin came to her face, the broken types were easy right? All it took was a little bit of help for them to feel accepted and indebted. Kirin brought her closer from her urgings as she looked down at the pallum girl who seemed like she was at the end of her rope. "There there." Korra said in a soft and tender voice, trying to be kind and gentle with the girl as she reached out to try and pet her and smooth her hair. "You seem lost, or troubled~" She said softly with a kind smile leaning over slowly to face the girl happily. "Like you could use a friend?" She said cocking her head slowly. Her words were kind and simple, but at the same time she was no doubt luring this poor girl. If she was naive, there was no doubt Korra would take advantage of her in some ways, but not too much, no, the advantages would simply be her payment for getting this girl back on her feet she justified internally. Looking down at the girl, she tried to reach out for her, if the girl didn't fight her efforts to hug her, she'd hang onto her and stroke her hair softly sharing some warmth with the girl who might feel alone or cold without any support or comforts. This happened to be something Korra was good at, even if she wasn't a good role model or a saint, she was someone who could hold people over until they did find those people, who could be a flickering candle for someone to hold onto in their darkest of moments. "I'm here for you~" She murmured softy.
Embarrassed _____Auriel was lost within her thoughts a little to far, unable to notice the approach of the other women until she touched her head for the first time. Blinking slowly as she tried to meet the girl's eyes only to stop short and mover her focus back down. It was when the women hugged her that Auriel turned bright red and froze up. Her fingers twitching as she seemed to be mumbling to herself to more the girl clung to her. Eventually getting out a sentence in a faint voice. _____"Ple ... Please let me go..." Her embarrassment was clear throughout her voice as she started to tremble. She was not good with people touching her, or fighting back against anyone. She just hoped the women was not going to push her into something more embarrassing then just a tight hug. The thought of what else might happen crossing her mind cause her to turn a brighter red and slowly try to get free of the hug by wiggling. _____"I ... I don't need any more touching... I'm ... I'm fine..." Auriel tried to string her words to form a solid sentence as she kept trying to wiggle free from the girl, once free she would resume walking. Her face still cherry red from the event and her attention lost in dark thoughts once again of people forcing her into embarrassing situations much worse then the hug. Her figure freezing in place as one particular thought caused her more of a freak out then those she thought of before it. @Korra Quinn
Korra couldn't help a mellow chuckle as she followed along with the Pallum girl who tried to escape her. Though it wasn't often that Korra was the type to bully, this cute girl just made it so hard, there was no reason she couldn't just let her slip away. Seeing the girl freeze, Korra walked ahead of her, with a farther gait, Korra smiled looking down at the girl who was frozen with a happy smile on her face. "Now now, I can't just let you go right? I thought I'd try to help you but you really hurt my feelings there." Korra said with a fake pout and a coy smile. "You can't do something as mean as that right?" She asked trying to give the girl a gentle shove. She would try to push her back to one wall with a smile, the hand on her chest trying to hold her against that wall gently but firmly as she continued speaking. "If you want to be alone, I can let you be alone dear but first, you have to tell me why I should do that. Why should I leave you alone mm?" She asked with a sweet smile as she cocked her head at the smaller girl with the intent of bullying her. "You probably don't have one right?" She asked again, her tone more firm and forceful as she looked down at the girl who seemed so frightened she might have a panic attack at any time.
_____Auriel could not even speak to the girl who stood before her. The shove into the wall only causing her to freeze more as her eyes seemed to be fading in color. She was still alert to know what was going on around her as the girl touched her chest. Auriel was so worried about what this women might do to her since she was so weak and venerable when she got pushed into corners, or in this case back against a wall. She wanted to make up some reason or another as to why she should be let free but to startled to say or even move. _____'I just want to be left alone, please don't not here ... I don't want this kind of memory .... Such a run down place to be ...' Her thoughts kept racing around in her head like race horses. She started watching the gilr closer, her attempt to find a opening in the girl's actions so she had some direction to go once she could move again. But if the girl kept touching her she would remain frozen the light in her eyes a dull flicker that only glowed brighter when she was not being touched. @Korra Quinn
