Any who enter the thread experience a short DMing segment that will lead to you getting a shard if you fulfill the criteria. It could just be a shard being held by a npc, or just laying on the ground or in a chest. It could even be in the hands of a monster. It varies based on the threads setting. Quest has no set conclusion. Simply collect the shard and post for reward, you may continue to collect by entering more Chaos Shard location threads. Reward is only granted if you post here. Nowhere else. Only the one who claims a shard at the end of the thread is permitted to receive a reward. No splitting. Difficulty is completely random.
