_____Auriel enjoyed the plains outside the city more then the city itself. The peaceful breeze slipped across the grass fields as the Pallum rested her figure against it. While she was still dressed in her armor from the recent exploration of the dungeon she had a lot more on her mind as she watched the clouds drifting above. So much had happen in the last few months that she needed time like this to make sure she was on the same page and knew what was going on in her own life. The oldest thing she still needed to recall was the first death of a adventurer Auriel had ever witnessed.

_____Hinabi, the name the Goddess had spoken when she brought his body all the way to where his familia was located. He was not that much older then she was and he lived a rather full life from what she heard. Although lined with tragedy it was his life, and the goddess reminded Auriel that he loved each moment of it and would not ask to go back and change it since it made him who he was up until his final moments. "Would I feel ... do I feel the same way about my own life ... To be ok with who I am and what I have done and seen...?" Auriel raised her left hand upward clenching the flowing air in her fist before letting it go and letting her arm rest beside her again.

_____There was so much she hated about her life, so many events she wished she could go back and fix even if it would change who she was today. Her mind knowing full she wanted to be anyone but the person she was currently. The worthless, clumsy, dense, push over that was Auriel. Who would want to ever be someone like her? Her head vigorously shaking in the grass, she was out here to try and boost her self esteem not shatter it more then she already had done. But deep down in her heart she knew that alone there was no way that would happen without someone to stop her from beating herself down four times for each one thing she could do below average.

_____The rare chance anyone was walking across the overgrown grass field was slim, and the only thing that gave away where the Pallum might have been was the large backpack that rested near her head. her entire figure hidden under the waving grass as she began to feel the soothing air drag her into a light slumber. Yawning very lightly she rolled her arms around her chest and began to slip into what she hoped would be good dreams, but only nightmares would await her like always.

  2. Yuu
    Thousand Suns Leader

With the afternoon gradually going by, Yuu strolled headway through the plains, humming a classic tavern tune that he familiarized himself with due to the several shifts he was forced to labor. His career choice was mundane but he wasn't experienced in other professions or lines of work to whine about earning minimum wage pay. To make things worse, his boss and in general, the bar populace was an utter annoyance. So, for today, he wasted one of his three "sick" days to adventure afar from the Orario Slums, and relieve himself from constant stress.

"This place is beautiful..." Yuu mumbled, looking upward at the sky. The white stratus clouds overhead the Orarians Plains were minimal, but the sun directly beyond them placed the stratus in its acme of beauty. Yuu wasn't into cloud watching or the like, but he did strive to try different things which was a good social trait.

As he mindlessly walked, a knoll approached, slightly tripping the young teen, causing him to drop his longsword which he brought along due to small knowledge of the area. He wasn't use to being in different areas since the slums raised him. Though, swiftly he recovered, planting his (left) hand into the greenery before aggressively pushing up, regaining his balance. "Bummer..." he mumbled, looking at his hands that were now covered with fresh soil and grass.

Then he began thinking about how he was slightly overreacting to having stains on his hands, I mean, he could've been working today. Nodding his head, he agreed with his conscious, and expunged the thought of stains from his head, quickly picking up his sword and carrying forth.

_____Auriel had JUST managed to start a peaceful slumber when the feeling of a boot against her side woke her up. Her upper body slowly rose from out of the tall grass only allowing her head to poke free as she rubbed one eye looking around for who had kicked her side she was now holding. Seeing the male she turned red and scurried backwards using her hands to move while dragging her feet, no doubt making enough noise to draw his focus towards her.

_____While Auriel was a female in body and soul, she could fool some. her long black hair waved slowly in the warm breeze, the scent of apples rolling with the wind because of her hair. Dark grey eyes telling she was more startled to see someone out here then her was most likely. Her face a light shade of red from causing someone trouble and being so close to another person so shortly after they touched her. If her looked at her figure, there would be nothing that could distinct her from a famine boy.

_____"Im ... I'm sorry for causing you to fall... I should have slept where the grass was shorter so people could see me easier..." Auriel slowly moved to stand up out of the grass. her height causing her legs and some of her waist to be hidden by the swaying grass. her focus setting on her bag as she quickly scurried to make sure the male did try to steal her stuff. Nervous eyes looking towards him as she held the bag tightly at her chest. Some might have thought she had stolen it and was trying to make sure someone did not steal what she had worked for, or she truly cared for the content within the bag. This time and every time for Auriel it would be the second choice.

Yuu carted on, clasping onto his scabbard from the middle, his nerves alarming him of the modest discomfort. Suddenly, dismembering his pain, he whirled the opposing direction to make eye contact with his new acquaintance. Glaring at the girl flee backwards with the facial expression of the ripest tomato, he sighed, taking this chance to adjust the scabbard back onto his warm back. He didn't feel threatened by the girl's presence and was relieved it wasn't a feral animal desiring to consume his flesh unless - the girl was a vicious cannibal.

Successfully securing the scabbard to his body, he observed Auriel stand up from the lengthy grass field. "I don't accept apologies from people who've done nothing blameworthy thus I must apologies to you," Yuu responded to Auriel, deeply bowing then rising up. "I kicked you therefore you're innocent," he insisted, massaging his head. "I shouldn't be kicking children however - this makes me look like a brute," he slightly chuckled, thinking of Auriel as a child due to her ridiculous short height.

Hopefully she's kneeling down or this really is a child - maybe - she's lost...

Sitting down, he scratched his head, deeply contemplating. He didn't know if it was a good time to ask for her name. I mean, seconds earlier, he accidentally rammed his foot into her side but he didn't know human life existed in these areas, even though, the area is habitable. "Are you here to relieve stress too," he questioned Auriel. Looking up at the stratus passing by always made him feel robust. "This place is great for relieving stress and depression, well, until someone kicks you in the side," he added.

Transitioning from sitting to laying, he mindlessly stared into the sky, the crisp air pounding his smooth cheeks. The feeling of the lawn going through his hands was a remarkable feeling as they fairly massaged them. At that moment, he was comfortable and relaxed. Though, he didn't want to be too comfortable - he ruined that girl's comfort and relaxation so why should he be relaxed?

_____Auriel kept her bag held tight as she listened to the person. She could only get nervous and speak to counter what he had said about her not being to blame. "But if I was in shorter grass you would not have missed where i was resting… so i am at blame here…” When he called her a kid she puffed her cheeks up, why did some people call her a kid? She was tall among her people. "Um… I'm twenty three years old… And i'm rather tall among Pallum… at least the ones i have met…”

_____Her focus was on her bag as she spoke, her face still slightly puffed up from the insult on her pride, but it soon would fade back to her nervous self. This person was one of those very few that did not try to pick on her so she was a bit offset. He was asking about her, and not the content of her bag like some she knew would have done. "I was out here… to clear my head … and think about everything that had happen in my life this last month alone…”

_____Why was she able to talk so much to a person without freaking out she did not fully know. But sitting down with her back against her bag she watched the clouds also, but kept a ear out encase the male tried to take something from her or approach her. "Sorry… I’m not used to… people being nice to a support like me… especially because i'm a Pallum... “ Auriel could not fully relax with someone else around, her sense of fear was too much as she nervously toyed with her bangs with her left hand trying to calm herself at least somewhat.

  6. Twenty-Three!?

In disbelief, though, holding his posture, he lifted his upper body up from the pasture. He listened to every word she said. He could relate to her in the way of having to clear the head. His job annoyed him and it was one of the two things that removed him from his calm zone. Yuu was a calm person and he was rarely stressed, but when he was, he didn't like it and the most easiest things became a hassle.

Nodding his head, approving of her little vacation to soothe her mind, he laid back down and spectated the sky again. He personally enjoyed this conversation with Auriel even though he barely knew her. He yawned, stretched out his back and enjoyed the view. Today was going well planned and he felt like using another sick day so he wouldn't have to tend the tavern.

Maybe he should use another sick day just to come relax out in the Orarian Plains. Listening to Auriel again speak as if she was a minority in Orario, he calmly blew upward. "What's wrong with being a supporter," he asked her, moving his eyes downward until they couldnt go anymore. "In my eyes, you're equal to everyone else here in this wretched country," he added.

He then sighed, lifting his upper body again, planting his palms into the turf. "You know what if you want," he stopped, rubbing his eye. "You can join my guild as our lead support if you want," he finished, inviting her to the Thousand Suns Guild. "We will definitely need support - but - it's your choice," he ended, laying back down onto the turf.

  7. Nervous

_____Tranquility in its primal state of existence was simply and truly the only way to detail the grass feild our two adventurers found themselves. The clouds above held not one sign of ill manor to ruin such mood. The clouds danced across the blue skies, their white cotton appearance was truly hypnotic as they took all shapes and sizes. The grass sung shallow tones as the warm breeze that signaled the last changes of summer. The wind also carried the last of green leaves, and the songs of birds from the north in which it traveled from.

_____The place our duo found themselves was a slight slope, and while it was not only higher than most the field the grass had grown more due to the rich pile of soil beneath it. This all of course was not fully a concern for Auriel who nervously laced her fingers, the cloth against her fingers creating a small static charge from her actions. Her reason for such nervous action was well within her own paranoid mind as she parted her lips to speak some words to the male who offered her somewhere to work it seemed in her mind.

_____”I … I Already work as a Cadet in the military… have cats to tend to at home… and part of a Familia… I don’t think I can handle anything more … I’m sorry…” Her tone was faint, her sincerity was laced deeply within her apology to the male before her she did not even know their name, and her mind yet to tell her about failing to introduce herself also. The distance between them was no more than a few feet, maybe five at most but Auriel slightly moved herself back to make it six still feeling the gap was far to small.

_____She would try to reduce her anxiety over the encounter in a simple fashion. Her lungs and airways opened to let the summer breeze fill her lungs and nose. The scents of pine and fresh water washing over her as she relaxed her shoulders and exhaled the pleasant air that allowed her to think slightly clearer. ”As for the part of Supports… Most people don’t see them as real risk takers, .... more like bottom feeders, and being a Pallum only makes it worse due to my race’s current state know through most the world…” Pain was laced between each word.

_____Auriel truly felt each word desered to show her disliking over the matter. Her fingers would finally stop weaving between another as she balled them together to control her emotions of hatred to people that saw supports as such type of people. The risked more than most adventures as far as she cared. The gave away their mobility to carry large amounts of supplies, they even had to keep light weapons or people would not trust the support. Not to mention most adventurers would turn on their support at a moment’s notice, it was sickening to think about just how cruel the life of supports truly was.
