Floor 8 Saying Cecilia was prepared for this mission would be a understatement. She had a supply of restoratives, training for several days straight before the mission date, performing several meditation techniques that she used to pray to her god, and several extra pairs of cloth wipes for her soon to be gore covered blade. Cecilia was in a almost trance like state of determination for this mission. This would be a victory for her and her god. Failure would not be tolerated. Cecilia had to take this with utmost seriousness. Not that she much of a unserious person. The journey to the eighth floor was beyond simple. So many adventurers had been given missions to help clear out floor eight, that even the ants could not put up a good resistance. This was how Cecilia would lead a charge. Relentlessly assault the dungeon with your best men. She wouldn't be surprised if some of them actually pushed on using this momentum into floor nine and beyond. Conquering this place could possibly unlock ancient secrets that Cecilia and Odin could benefit from. She could not wait for the end to be discovered. If the dungeon had nothing to offer for going so far it would be the epitome of disappointment. Now though, was time for her to focus on her mission and focused she was. Her companion for this was a man named Yuu Daprod. He seemed like a skilled swordsman and she could only hope he had trained for this enough. She knew little else than his name. He obeyed her orders and did not want to lead which worked for Cecilia. The noble hated being a follower of anyone other than Odin. While she never openly complained, it was a secret dislike of hers. One who dreant of being god was not one who enjoyed being led by others. The noble and her comrade came out into the bright light of the floating soul stone, finally arriving after some light skirmishes onto floor eight. Cecilia took in a breath of fresh air. It was truly incredible, the floor was like it was the surface. Trees and fields as far as the eye could see. The soul stone with the sun of this place, She could only wonder what lied ahead but now was not the time. Making sure Yuu was following close and prepared for the real mission, she headed for this dreaded 'Cavern of The Gnoll'. She could only imagine what kind of den a creature like that would have. It was probably a bloody mess that reeked of filth and feces. The thought made Cecilia's stomach churn. She had no taste for disgusting things. Thanks to Odin's scouts the cave was easy to find. It was exactly where they said it could be found. Her sword drawn and her mind fully focused on slaying the beast and accomplishing the task. She slowed down upon the final approach. If it was going to show up. Now was the best time. The battle may be difficult however she was in no way going to lose to something like a Gnoll. "It's time... Be on your guard." @Yuu DaProd
Adventure Like every other day, to have a reason to skip tending the tavern, he signed up for the expedition into the dungeon. He realized the idea was foolish and everyone else did too, trying their best to halt him. His boss, slightly whimpering over the fact his hardworking bartender (when he went to work) was going to be ravaged by the dungeon dwelling beast bribed the teenager with -- more sick days. Yuu declined the exceptional offer because he skipped work without them. So as he entered the dungeon, he was instantly proclaimed dead by his boss. However, the rookie adventurer was alive and on the 8th floor. He did have to admit, his allies heavily assisted him. Most of the time, he finished off monsters the others failed to kill and picked up their miniature soul gems. He understood the soul gems were worth minimal value but he was grateful for whatever. At least he was alive and able to accept the mission to claim the 8th floor with his partner, Cecilia Brant. Well, more his captain since he demanded The Guild to make her the head. He didn't know much about Cecilia, but he did know she was in the military when he got his briefing. Most troops in the Orarian Military were taught strategies and tactics -- another reason Cecilia was the person for the job. So he just followed behind her like normal companions would, and hoped she didn't end up dead. Yuu didn't really care about his health, but he cared for his allies' well-being. He kept watch on Cecilia when dungeon monsters arose from the floors and walls - prepared to sacrifice his life in order to save hers. Luckily though, Cecilia could stand her ground and as they entered the 8th floor, Yuu was proud to call her captain. Keeping close to Cecilia, he was amazed such a dungeon floor could exist. It was a beautiful sight unlike the other gloomy floors that made adventurers uncomfortable and filled them with utter depression. This floor had artificial lighting from the massive soul gem above and soothed everything that entered, well, things that weren't monsters. Which reminded Yuu, he wasn't on a trip to the spa. He was here to defeat the Gnoll with his captain. Keeping his scabbard tight on his back, he walked behind Cecilia. They approached the cavern that the briefing spoke about and he was eager to explore it. As Cecilia warned him to keep his guard up, he smiled. "Thank you for caring about my physical health," he responded, his hands snug in his pants' pockets, simply forgetting her warning.
Floor 8 Cecilia was too focused to care about Yuu's lack of concern about the looming battle. The mission was all that mattered. As long as his life was not in any immediate danger she would not focus too much on what he did, if at all. She probed the trees with her eyes and continued to approach the cave with a prepared state of caution. Her boots snapping the longer grass that seemed to grow right by the cave entrance. Her ears attempting to pick up any sounds that would mean a surprise attack. "If there is no sight of it soon, we will have to go inside. Perhaps it is asleep... oddly enough." Cecilia said as she made one last scan of the trees just to make absolutely sure it was not lurking out there behind any trees. Giving up on that decision she turned towards the cave while she braced for whatever horror would be inside... Part of the quest was to investigate the cave and a little of the surrounding area as well after all, so it was something that had to be done eventually. Either before or after slaying the beast. Cecilia would likely send Yuu to investigate the outside while she would check the cave. Since she was the superior of the two as well as the stronger. It only made sense that she check the dark cavern with who knows what lying within. They did not have all the time in the world and limited supplies so a split up was the best method. Cecilia only hoped Yuu could fend for himself during the short time apart. The sound of snapping twigs caught her ear just before she proceeded into the cavern. It was difficult to pick up over the running water of the nearby waterfall, but her focus was such that she noticed every little thing right now. She quickly looked back to see if her laid back companion had caused the sound or not. However as if to answer her inquiry, the sound would continue and grow louder and louder as a menacing grow came from the eastern trees. They were not alone after all. The Gnoll was likely approaching, and quickly. "I suppose it was out hunting, if these beasts even have a ecosystem tha- " She could not say another word before the large brown creature came tearing snarling and howling through the trees with great speed unbecoming of it's large size. It headed directly for Yuu with a deathly cackle that sounded like a hyena's laugh! It's drool flying behind it in a stream from it's teeth filled canine like jaw. "Yuu! Move!" Cecilia hurried to attempt to deflect the savage claws with her sword as they were swung at Yuu DaProd! She was unsure if she could make it in time though due to the beasts wild speed.... The Gnoll Debut Carelessly following behind Cecilia, his hands remained in his trousers while he examined the area. Glancing side to side, he was more interested in the area than finding the monster. He acknowledged the Gnoll was their main worry but he knew the beast would approach them. On the bright side, they had till the end of the day to successfully complete their task - however, if they failed, they wouldn't be rewarded. Moreover, The Guild would hire people that would finish their incomplete work. Listening to Cecilia, he nodded in approval. "Great idea, we need to investigate the inside," he responded, giving a thumbs up; Cecilia most likely not seeing it since he was behind her. "If you ask me, this Gnoll must have offspring," he added, placing his hand back into his trousers. Most monsters had offspring; they had to continue to exist or they'd cease to exist. Lifting a brow, he smiled. So that's where you've been hiding, he thought, continuing to follow Cecilia. Suddenly, Cecilia looked at Yuu -- worried like. He just carried on walking, amazed by the waterfall that muffled their hearing. Then, the beast could be heard approaching them, but from where exactly. There were so many places the beast could be approaching from, and this made things challenging. "I don't see no signs of it hunting, though, I do know it's very, very, very close," he responded. That being said, Yuu walked on, his scabbard remaining on his back. He couldn't resist the scenery in front of him. The greenery was if he was back at the Orarian Plains with his fellow friend, Auriel who he thought was a child. The waterfall was new to him since there wasn't any in the Slums nor at the Plains. The trees were pretty rare too, understanding the slums didn't really have trees and the Plains barely. But the fact was, he was enjoying himself and he was enjoying this "vacation". Then it happened. Cecilia demanded he moved but he didn't understand why, the scenery was great. She even hurried towards him and that's when he gave in. "Fine, fine, fine," he said, sighing, before ducking. The Gnoll's sharp claws making contact with squat - nothing. The Gnoll, again, attempted to attack Yuu, slamming his claws onto the quality pasture. The beast was quick which made things difficult, but Yuu knew he and his partner could handle it. Yuu jumped backward from the claw which slammed onto the floor, a small radius of grassy terrain coming up as it exploded. Grass and dirt spat into the air, and rained down on the three. Yuu and Cecilia were now a moderate range apart, and the Gnoll was in the middle of the two, enraged and ready to slaughter both of them. The Gnoll then looked at Cecilia who attempted to save Yuu, swinging its claws at her feminine chest structure. This worried Yuu since he didn't want nothing to happen to his partner finally unsheathing his blade from his leather pouch. The blade was rusty, old, and overall needed major tweaking, but he didn't let that stop him from trying to save Cecilia. He barely knew the chick, but that was his captain. He rushed at the Gnoll, the blade tightly clasped into his hands. The Gnoll was fast, but Yuu had just enough speed to get to the monster before it attacked Cecilia. This was when he discovered a tactic, even though he wasn't the captain of the team. "Cecilia, it will have to attack one of us," he shouted over the emitting waterfall. This was the perfect plan since the duo were separated unless the beast was quick enough to dodge both of their attacks which would amaze Yuu. Though, hopefully the monster tried to attack Yuu again because he knew his attack wouldn't do anything due to the durability and strength of his weapon and Cecilia most likely had a chance to hurt it than him.
Floor 8Yuu dodged the Gnoll's attack just as Cecilia swung her sword missing the claw by a inch. It was good he dodged then cause her deflection attempt would have failed. Dirt flew as it clawed at the ground with it's wild swing. Cecilia would normally make a face of disgust at being covered in any kind of grime but right now she was completely in mission mode and couldn't care less. This monster was going to die. The beast did not wait long to make more attacks either. It's sheer aggression was making it difficult to counter it's first attack. It came at Cecilia next. She moved into a parry position in hopes of deflecting the attack for a deadly counter blow... it would not be needed. Her mission partner moved quickly, when he wanted to that is, and stuck the beast with his sword. As it roared in anger, the noble heard Yuu talk about a weakness he noticed. Yes... that was true! The monster would be unable to target them both if they struck in at the right range with their swords! It bothered Cecilia somewhat that she was not the one to bring this up first. She kept the feeling to herself of course. "Right! Attack when it comes at me." Cecilia squinted in determination and backed up slightly as the beast swung wildly to hit the closest human it could. The thing would definitely take more than a few blows to kill. However there was a reason Cecilia was given this mission. It would learn that it's devilish life was over. as of this encounter. The Gnoll saw it was surrounded by it's scrawny prey. It could not understand their language but it could see what they were up to. It would make swipes and then the other meat would slice at it. This really infuriated the hyena headed beastman. Cecilia made a long slice into it's back as it made a flying claw attack at Yuu. The attacks continued this pattern of only being done during the creatures own attacks. It was so furious it could not stop the pattern, even while it's wounds piled up. Suddenly it finally would stop attacking as it's blood spread across the grass. The Gnoll howled in pain, frustration and anger. It then leaped onto a tree grasping it with it's sharp claws. Before anyone could reach it. It leaped off the tree to the front of it's cavern den. "You will not escape beast..." Cecilia moved as fast as she could to follow it into the cavern. It limped along as she closed in and thrust her sword into the back of it's neck bring the blade through the other front of it's throat. Thus blood began gushing everywhere. Cecilia looked at the gagging beast with no remorse. It's time had come, such was the fate of monsters. Running away would not stop that. A soul stone laid on the ground where it perished. She picked it up and tossed it back to Yuu who would probably be at the cave entrance. "That's for the tactic that brought our success Yuu, it was good thinking. Now we can finish up investigating. Be careful and meet back at the disclosed adventurer rendezvous point." @Yuu DaProd Gnoll was slain!
Wow - that's it? The Gnoll took more damage than it sent, and it became infuriated at the successful tactic. Though, helpless the hyena beast hybrid was as the two continued their onslaught on its body. Yuu was determined to defeat the brute beast and have its pelt turned into a warm coat - since he needed a coat, winter was coming. Hastily moving, shuffling his feet side to side, he dared not halt his movement. The Gnoll was now losing energy, its breathing became heavy. Its body tightened up and its movement became stiff. But the Gnoll continued to push itself to its limit but signs of it weakening was shown. Now the Gnoll knew it couldn't eliminate both, so he looked over at Yuu. This made the teenager, Yuu, smirk. "Yeah, right here, attack me," he said to the Gnoll. It roared viciously, spit and drool flooding from its mouth. Most of the spit landed on Yuu's shirt. "Hmm, very disgusting," he commented about the spit on his shirt, the spit going through the shirt. Then the Gnoll began mindlessly attacking back. It was no longer functioning as it once was; its speed off. Yuu deflected every attack that came at him and the beast became exhausted. That's when Cecilia decided to take the advantage and slice the beast's back, hitting the spine - which was now visible. The Gnoll was determined to continue fighting as the duo was, but it was outnumbered. It couldn't damage the two due to their strategy. "Its getting exhausted, we must resume our onslaught," Yuu shouted to Cecilia, taking the offensive. But before he could do anything more to the severely wounded beast, it howled and its voice echoed in the dungeon floor. Yuu knew the beast couldn't take it no longer. It was confirmed when the beast attempted to flee back into the cavern. Yuu ran after it, but stopped when he saw Cecilia wanting to take the final offensive attack. He smiled, concealing his blade back into his scabbard, placing his bloody hands back into his trousers. Cecilia had no hesitation, jamming the sword into the beast's neck. It tried to howl again, but the howl came out like a cracked shriek since Cecilia bust it's vocal cords. Blood spurt out the neck and back, spilling onto the turf. The turf sucked it up and used the blood as fertilizer. The blood even reached the beautiful waterfall which was no longer beautiful due to the blood. This erk'd Yuu - he loved that waterfall. However, at the time, the protection of his captain and the success of the task at hand was important. Pacing headway at the Cecilia who just finished the beast. She threw a soul gem at him; hitting his chest and landing in his left hand. He pondered why he received the soul gem since she killed the beast. Then she explained why, and the answer was fair to the young bartender who stored the soul gem into his leather pouch. Nodding his head, he decided to take lead into the cavern. It was small and looked very cramped for the beast - why did it reside in a cramped cavern? His question was answered when his senses told him he was being looked at. Whirling his body and head to the right, he spotted four baby Gnolls. They were small, but they had the same vicious aura the adult Gnoll carried. Unsheating his sword, that was covered with Gnoll blood, the rust even invisible. He smiled, twirling his blade, the blood splatting onto the cold cavern floor. The light was dim in the cavern but enough to see the babies. "I take two, you take two," he told Cecilia, once again, taking offense. The baby Gnolls were vicious but Yuu felt that Cecilia and himself were unstoppable when they defeated the Gnoll - even though it was fast. The Gnolls sprinted at the the duo, ironically, splitting into a group of two. Yuu, now outnumbered, gave a eager smile to eradicate the Gnolls from the face of the floor/dungeon. Floor 8 Gnoll's Cave Entering the cavern together Cecilia would wonder if the cavern was a simple one or large once you stepped within. So far it seemed that it was the former. The cave was dark and had little worth mentioning within. Cecilia rubbed her hand along the left wall which was closest to her. She kept her sword at the ready and stepped carefully. The Gnoll was but a dead bloody memory now, but that was not the end of this mission. She needed to check this place... properly. The dampness of the cave was a startling contrast to the outside. It was to be expected though with a waterfall nearby. Perhaps there was water just beyond the rocky walls of this cave? Speaking of water. Cecilia really wanted a bath now. This mission could not end sooner! She will have to remember that Gnoll's bled in large quantities. At least she did not get blood in her hair. The urge to pull out her cloth wipe and clean her sword of the blood was strong but for once she resisted the urge. Something was bothering her. Something about this hall she was in... wait where was Yuu? She did not hear his footsteps anymore. He was just behind her, wasn't he? Looking over her shoulder she saw no one! Wonderful. There must have been two paths and for some reason he took the other one. Perhaps due to the darkness, but it really was not all that dark, just damp and rank. Before her opinion of the man could drop from this however, his words came from the distance "I take two, you take two." He was under attack? Were there Gnoll cub's within this den after all? Or something else? Cecilia let go of the wall and thought to turn back, she needed to see what was happening.. but Cecilia came to the conclusion that there was a more important thing to do during this moment. If Yuu were to die, it would be for a good cause. Some time would pass with Cecilia no where to be seen. Leaving Yuu to deal with the killer children. Yuu would find himself alone and outnumbered. The little beasts were no where near as powerful as their father... or mother? Although what they were was annoying. They used their size and the tightness of the cavern to swarm Yuu. Gnashing at his ankles, leaping at his face. And even mischievously trying to pull his pants down from around his waist! One tiny gnashing mouth went straight for his privates when Cecilia came out from around the corner on the other side of the Gnoll cub nest. Seemed the cavern was a donut in shape that wrapped around where the little Gnoll's were being 'raised'. She drew her sword which had returned to it's sheath and rushed to his aid. Trying to slash them without hitting Yuu. One of the small beasts noticed her and came at he,r biting her arm. Blood flood as she swung her arm against the wall. It snarled as it's back slammed into the cave rocks. Her sword would impale it shortly after. @Yuu DaProd
Outnumbered! The sweat producing from his palm traversed to the handle of the sword. He used minimal energy against the adult Gnoll, but the cavern was full of heat. Weird it was, the floor's cold and the air hot, and Yuu wasn't really into heated areas. "Cecilia are you - huh," he said, looking to his right to see Cecilia was missing. Comically, a white arrow pointed downward at the position Cecilia was suppose to be at to assist him, but she was nowhere to be seen. Though, there was two things in her proclaimed position and those were a pair of miniature Gnolls. "Great, I've been abandoned," Yuu calmly mumbled, his eyes comically less detailed - now dots. His enemy count doubled, he twirled his blade one last time before his foes approached him from both sides. Now, he whirled to his right, Cecilia's "enemies" swiftly charging at him. Though, he didn't mind much, he surged with strength when he was outnumbered. With that being said, the battle began. Yuu, confident about his victory, he jolted his right foot into the air - quicker than he ever moved against the adult Gnoll. His right foot slammed against one of the miniature Gnoll's jaws, breaking the fragile piece. The Gnoll did a backflip, flying a moderate range backwards, then ramming against the hard cavern floor. The Gnoll must've ripped skin due to the sound it made when it crashed into the pavement like floor but Yuu had no time to contemplate and think about it since he had three more enemies to defeat. His original enemies charged from the back furiously - spectating their brethren be struck onto the floor with one hit. Yuu continued to look forward at Cecilia's enemies, one remaining. It became fearful and slowed down because it felt Yuu's valiant aura. However, spotting his brethren closing in on Yuu made him feel confident which made him charge at the teenager. Understanding there were two Gnolls directly behind him, he mirrored his blade. Now, he was holding the sword by the blade and not the hilt. He threw the blade backwards (cutting himself in the act) towards the two Gnolls. By then, the Gnolls were jumping to munch on Yuu's savory flesh. Though, it was too late! The hilt reached Yuu's elbow; now smacking the hilt with his elbow causing the sword to whirl around like a fan. The blade spun quickly, and didn't hesitate to kill. The Gnoll that was nearest to the blade knew the situation it was in when it was in mid-air - the blade several inches above its head. Swiftly the blade decapitated the Gnoll, its body and head flying past Yuu, then smacking onto the ground. Blood spurted from the head and body, the Gnoll's eyes showing only the sclera, its mouth wide open revealing it's brown canine teeth. The other Gnoll that jumped into the air to attack Yuu was shocked and infuriated. It witnessed its kin be murdered! Yuu though cared not, and simply wanted to complete the objective at hand. The Gnoll's upper body passed the fan blade before it's right (foot) paw was cut clean off, stopping the blade too. The paw flew far, but the Gnoll wanted to kill Yuu, grabbing onto his hair to stop himself from hitting the ceiling of the cavern. "Huh," Yuu mumbled, looking up to see the Gnoll on his head. The Gnoll then scratched Yuu's forehead, the new cut instantly began bleeding. "Ouch," Yuu lightly screamed out, finally revealing humanly emotions before being bit by the Gnoll that he forgot was in front of him. Knowing his priority was the one on his head, he began swiftly shaking his dome hastily. The Gnoll became dizzy, but noticed another person coming from Yuu's back. It pounced off Yuu, landing on Cecilia's arm - aggressively biting her, tearing through the flesh. There Cecilia rammed her arm into the wall, ending the Gnoll pup's feast on her arm. Its head bust open, blood pouring from the back and to confirm its death, she impaled the blade into its eye socket. Back to Yuu, now with the annoyance off his head, he grabbed the Gnoll on his leg by the neck, quickly throwing it up into the air before it took a chunk from his arm. The Gnoll began wiggling like a dog or cat as it was thrown, then came down to a foot to its temple. The Gnoll flew further than the first Gnoll and blood spat from its mouth as it went across the room. Once it hit the floor, the body dispersed - leaving a singular soul gem. Yuu fell on his knees, heavily breathing. His blood in his hair and face. His shin had minor injuries but enough to need medical attention. Looking downward at the floor, his blood began dripping into the creases of the hot cavern. "We've done our job, now all we have to do it get back to camp," Yuu said to Cecilia, ripping his shirt, and wrapping his shin. There, he got up, picking up his sword as he did so, and glared at Cecilia as if he didn't just get gnawed on by miniature hyena hybrids, In fact, he resumed his calm laidback persona. "The call is up to you, captain," Yuu mumbled, concealing his sword into his scabbard, then folding his bloodied arms and hands.
Floor 8 Gnoll's Cave Bloody Gnoll bits filled the cave before fading away and leaving tiny soul stones. They sparkled in the darkness. They were so small unfortunately that it was not worth even collecting them really. Cecilia took out her cloth and cleaned her sword of blood before returning it to it's sheath. She just hated her weapon being messy for too long. It was a never ending habit to clean her weapon between nearly every battle. She looked at Yuu with approval. He was doing good, much better than one of his demeanor. She kept underestimating his ability. She probably did not even have to come to his aid. Then again, it was just little cubs. Regardless this mission was finally nearing it's end. All that remained was to return to the rendezvous point. Cecilia's blue eyes fell upon her arm wound. It throbbed painfully but her goal oriented mindset was such that she ignored it up to now. Now that there was nothing left to do, it made her wince. Wrapping her arm in a extra cloth she carried for blood cleaning. Her face tightened as she finished the knot. Afterwards Cecilia sighed and looked happy to move on. "Yes... let's get out of this place. The mission is complete. With many thanks to you as well." Cecilia flashed a small smile as she walked up to him, she extended a hand to Yuu. It was only appropriate to shake the hand of someone who assisted so much during a mission. She doubted she would meet him again for some time so this was good a time as any. She pulled one final clean cloth for him. "Here, clean off anything you need or tie it around your wound. I carry these for my sword but I only needed one today." If he accepted it he could keep the cloth. Cecilia then made a move for the exit. Making sure to not accidentally make the turn back into the circle again. Exiting the dark, damp place, the swordswoman looked up at the far off soul stone. This place was really strange. What even caused such a phenomenon to exist? According to Odin the gods themselves had no hand in it. Then who, what, and why did such a place like the dungeon even exist? Why did it become the way it was after the god's arrival on Earth all those years ago? Cecilia's dream was to bring a perfect and endless peace to the Earth. If something that could rival the gods existed. She had to either destroy it... or become it. Whichever was needed to accomplish her dream. It would not take all that long to reach to the gathering place that the adventurers had been told of. The journey would have no monsters. It seemed that the other teams successfully removed much of the threat, if not all of it. The dungeon was known for respawning monsters no matter how many were slain... maybe this floor was different. Cecilia's mind went to her god as she saw the gathering point in the distance. How did he feel about all this she wondered? How did he feel about living among the mortals or about the other gods. She hoped that someday he would make a mark in this world that would make him king, and of course... make her his queen. Such fantasies.... @Yuu DaProd
The End Listening to Cecilia, he nodded his head in acceptance. "I must say, we are a fine duo. No one did more than the other - great work," Yuu responded to Cecilia's comment. Finally, the mission was complete: The Gnoll was eliminated as its offspring. Yuu didn't know a way this mission could've gone better! Giving a thumbs up to his partner, he didn't use common facial expressions, heck, he never used any facial expression. "Hmm," he wondered, looking at her bloody hand. Was she offering him a handshake with both of their hands so bloody? How unsanitary, but Yuu accepted since he wasn't the rude type, shaking her hand. Are we blood brothers now - no that wouldn't work...blood brother and sister - interesting, he thought to himself, trying to understand the proper term for what they just did. Suddenly, from the blue, Cecilia offered him a cloth. Bowing his head, he accepted the cloth, wiping the blood from his face. "Thank you, I'll keep this for the future" he responded, removing all the non-dry blood from his face then placing it into his leather pouch. Once it was in and the leather pouch was tied shut, he placed his hands back into his trouser pockets and, once again, followed behind Cecilia to the cave exit. Following behind, he was happy they were leaving the cramped cave. His body wasn't enjoying the cold floors and the hot air. It was placing pressure on his body overall, and he disliked it very much. Once they escaped hell, Yuu's eyes wandered to find the waterfall. Hopefully during their time in the cavern, the water "moved" or removed the blood. Spotting the waterfall, it did! He passed by Cecilia to reach the waterfall first were he was utterly astonished by its beauty. There, he dunked his head into the water - using his hands to remove the dry blood from his face. His scabbard was tempted to fall into the waterfall, hanging on from the latch tied around Yuu's thin body. Swiftly removing his head from the water, his hair now covered with water, removing it by moving his hands through his hair. "Refreshing," he said, standing up, resuming his position behind Cecilia. The water that remained began dripping onto his back and falling from his chin and nose. Though, he didn't care if his close got ruined. The camp wasn't far from their current position; he'd change when they got there. Hopefully, they were serving food by then because Yuu was starving. He didn't care much but he would've liked something to eat. Once they reached the camp, there were minimal people finished before Yuu and his captain, Cecilia. Their hardwork to complete their task paid of since there was a supply of food ready to nourish the duo. Yuu though ate a small serving and decided it was time to sleep because he knew their job wasn't over and it was just the beginning. I mean, they wouldn't be in a camp if their job was over. Removing the small amount of gear he had, he laid down in one of the tents at the camp. There, like a pokemon, he became fast asleep.
