@Korra Quinn Parvati blinked in surprise at the sudden question. "...I do not see why not?" she said uncertainly, "After all, we did share your bed, yes?" And a bath too, her mind went. She promptly told it to shut up. It took her a bit to process what both of them had said, looking at the bard curiously. "You plan on staying?" she asked, brows furrowed. Now that she thought about it, Korra's magic became stronger the more meaningful bonds she had. If the supporter had stuck around with the Amazoness, wouldn't her magic technically get stronger? She didn't really mind that, despite being a little jealous Korra was so far ahead. She eyed the girl as she cautiously took another bite of her food.
Korra let out a happy giggle, clearly pleased by the girl's words and agreeing. It made her happy clearly her smile grew warmer as she nodded back in answer. "We did, though it does feel a little more special with an actual bed maybe?" She tried to tease with a smile though she earnestly felt that way, Parvati might just take it as a simple joke or teasing. "I do! At least, I thought that was what you were offering earlier right? You said you'd take care of me right?" She said with a childish giggle happy that Parvati at least didn't thrust her away. Though Korra had some understanding that Parvati might be a little jealous of her magical prowess, she didn't have any words that she could properly use to try and help relieve Parvati of that, she could only try her best and support Parvati and help her friend grow as strong as she could be as well. Korra herself wasn't particularly experienced, but she certainly did endeavor to do her best to teach Parvati about magic.
@Korra Quinn Parvati couldn't help but blush at the implications of them sharing a bed. "N-Nothing of sorts!" she stammered, shaking her head. Her blush grew when Korra said that she would take care of her. "A-Ah, yes, I did say that?" she squeaked, "But not, for one, couple? I have no knowing." She quickly went back to her fish, as if she realized how hungry she was. Unfortunately for her, she finished her meal rather quickly after that. She looked forlornly as her empty plate as she tried to think of something that would ease the perceived tension between her and the bard. "Perhaps, I may, would wounds get worse sleeping togetherness?" she asked, butchering the Orarian language, "Safer in I do not sleep kick you, yes?"
Korra only smiled back at Parvati who was stammering and blushing. Shaking her head she tried to reach out a hand to the flustered girl to softly pat her hand reassuringly. "Hehe, well, maybe just to me it feels a little different since I've not been in one in a long time." She explained with a sweet teasing giggle. Though she tried to calm Parvati who seemed to be leaping a mile a minute, Korra didn't really intend to push the woman THAT far, but simply a gentle and delicate one. "Are you still hungry? Do you want some of mine?" Korra asked trying to offer her a fork full of pasta using her own fork with a happy smile offering to feed Parvati playfully. Though when Parvati tried to suggest that it might be bad to share, Korra shook her head a lot, happily trying to refuse the woman's polite efforts. "I'll be okay, a little kick won't be too bad right? Plus, I trust you remember?" She asked urging the girl to try her pasta with a happy smile. "I'll be happy to share at least." She spoke trying to be as reassuring as possible, but probably seemed more like a kid who'd gotten their favorite candy.
@Korra Quinn "No, I am fine," Parvati insisted while she blushed, "You can eat, I am done." She moved her plate to the side, indicating that she was done. The Amazoness began to drink her water slowly, trying not to cough and sputter at anything Korra would say to her. It didn't, though she spat the water back into her cup when Korra mentioned that she trusted her. "A-Ah..." She put her cup down. "True..." she said, not sure if she should look at her. The waitress came and asked if everyone was doing alright while taking the dirty dishes away. "I am fine," Parvati said, albeit a little weakly while still blushing. She turned her head to Korra before sighing. "Very well, sleep with me," she said, "I hope I do not night kick you." She was fairly certain she moved around a lot at night when she was on a bed, so she didn't know if the shifting would irritate Korra.
Korra wore a cute pout once more when Parvati refused, that sweet playful pout was affectionately sour as she continued despite Parvati's refusal. "Eh? Come on it's tasty~" She said giving it a gentle shake to Parvati once more, happily trying to urge her. Though if Parvati ultimately refused, Korra wouldn't be bothered and would try to clean her plate for the poor girl. If she did though it would surely be a lot more pleasant and happier for Korra to finish eating. Korra refused again when the waitress came as well, knowing there was nothing she really needed extra or additionally. No drinks or desserts, instead she turned towards Parvati who was still blushing and trying to apologize in advance. Korra couldn't help a warm mellow smile, after all she'd slept clinging to Parvati and her chest before and there was no room to kick her then. It made Korra giggle sweetly as she leaned over the table, just enough to show a bit of cleavage unintentionally as she spoke. "I'll just have to cling onto you tightly like last time, then you won't be able to kick me right?" She said happily and brightly.
@Korra Quinn "Mmrr..." Parvati struggled with her feelings on the fact that Korra was offering her food. She wasn't really a shrimp person, more of a fish person. But she eventually caved in and nodded. "Just one bite," she mumbled as she took the fork and put it into her mouth. She promptly gave the fork back, thanking her lucky stars that Korra didn't feed her. "It's good," she murmured, chewing thoughtfully. The Amazoness kept her gaze on Korra's face, not wanting to look at her cleavage. That would be rude and she wasn't ready for another blush fest. Unfortunately for her, the blush came back at the thought of Korra clinging onto her. "...True." She crossed her arms with a frown. Why do I get the feeling she's going to squeeze me and never let go? she thought to herself as her brows furrowed in thought.
Korra happily smiled, nodding back when Parvati had her bite, it wasn't just the silliness of an indirect kiss, though Korra was childish, she wasn't that silly. Instead it was the pleasure of sharing tastes with one another that made her happy, experiencing things together was always nicer then when alone, or at least that was how Korra saw things. "Isn't it? Though I bet you'd like the seafood rice better." She said with a mellow smile as she finished her meal, pushing her food aside as well. Though when Parvati commented on her clinging being true, Korra had to restrain a sweet playful squeal knowing that she would do exactly what Parvati was fearing if she had the chance. Snuggling and clinging was one of the things Korra did during sleep naturally after all, even if she fell asleep in another bed, she might in some way end up finding her way to snuggle someone from afar in her sleep if they weren't careful. "Whenever you're ready then." Korra said patiently knowing she'd still need Parvati's help to move since she was recovering.
@Korra Quinn Parvati grunted at Korra when she said that she might like the seafood rice better. Honestly, she didn't know. She got the feeling it wouldn't have any fish though. Still, it was a rather nice thought, trying out that particular food. "Said it was at sea town, correct?" she murmured, more to herself than to the bard. Maybe if she picked up traveling again, she could go there. The waitress came back to check and see if Korra was done. "Check please," the Amazoness said to the waitress. She nodded aand gathered up the dirty dishes to leave. Several moments later, she was back with the check. The Amazoness looked at it with a frown, trying to figure out how much to pay. She had a slightly hard time with numbers. "I'll pay, if that is fine with you," she said as she moved to get out her pouch of valis.
Shaking her head in response, Korra giggled a little thinking Parvati had forgotten already. Her teacher did travel a lot and tell Korra about a great variety of odd dishes such as sushi or other raw dishes that were strange to her. The seafood rice however was something local that Korra had from time to time as a lover of grain. "It's a local thing, there's a small place that sells it with cuts of fried fish in it, though you can get it with shell fish too." She said with a sweet giggle trying to correct Parvati. Though when the waitress came back with the check, Korra shook her head and simply reached down to her waist where she normally kept her tools. Pulling out a handful of gold coins from that pouch lazily as if they were nothing, she tried to offer it to the waitress with a wide smile. "I said my treat in the beginning right?" She answered Parvati's kind efforts with one of her own as she tried to pay before Parvati could manage to get her coins out. "Plus, I'm counting on you to take care of me right?" She said lifting her arms up as if trying to gesture for Parvati to give her a hand since she was still recovering.
@Korra Quinn "Ah, yes, you did say that," Parvati said as she watched Korra hand the waitress some valis. She had also forgotten that Korra said she was paying. Maybe she was too used to the fact that she ate here alone and thus had to be the one paying. She didn't quite know, but at least she could save up her money for other things. She got up and shuffled over to the supporter and began to help her up. "So, shall we head someplace?" she asked, "Where you like to go, story singer?" She helped her out of the door of the Dancing Bear and into the city streets. She wasn't sure if Kirin was waiting for them, though. Maybe he was, maybe not.
Korra only giggled a little in response to Parvati's question, the bard fully intent on following Parvati through a normal day of her life to learn more about her, Korra hobbled up when Parvati lent her a hand and leaned against her gently trying to stay stable with Parvati's help as she moved along. Thinking about where to head though, she wanted to leave that up to Parvati. "Let's go where you would go mm? Where do you usually like to go after dinner? What do you do?" She asked with a happy smile wanting to know more about this girl's life at home. Though when they got outside Kirin was already gone, the creature having wandered off since Parvati was there. If Korra needed, she'd summon him back, but that taxing spell was something she hoped to avoid if she could, after all, all she was doing was walking around with Parvati at the moment, she didn't imagine needing anything grand if they were just going to bed. If they weren't though, Korra might have to rethink her plan and call for him after all, or perhaps get a bit more creative with how Parvati supported her.
@Korra Quinn "Hnn, not much, I feel," Parvati admitted, "Mostly sleep, though heard it is bad for health." She shrugged. "I have no knowing of that. Sometimes read books." She paused, as if thinking of something. "Korra, do you read books?" she asked curiously, "If may, perhaps library is good?" Her her older sister Durga owned a great deal of books that she would sometimes steal. Only those that seemed interesting to her, most seemed to be centered around fighting, rather than magic. As she expected, Kirin was nowhere to be found. She looked at the bard worriedly, wondering how she was going to get through since she was so tired. "Perhaps break is good," she said, "Sleep? Same bed, like you said." She gently patted the girl's head with her other arm, smiling a little at the bard.
Korra only leaned her head in thought, she didn't really read, not that she couldn't her teacher saw to that and taught her more then just music, but at the same time reading wasn't all that interesting for Korra. Her interests were rather limited as it were, with only a few things that she had access to often such as cooking or girls or music. "I've not read anything in a long time. It might be worth a try though if you like it, sharing a book sounds fun." She mused though to Korra the part that was most fun was the chance to share an activity again, another date as it were! Though when she mentioned a break, Korra nodded back happily, glad for the chance to be spoiled, after all it was that and this feeling that she was chasing after the hardest with her playful dreams of being a princess. Nobility and decision making wasn't for her, but this warm feeling of being spoiled could compare to nothing else in Korra's eyes. "Sleep sounds nice. We can curl up and come up with a plan for tomorrow maybe." She teased as if already deciding she'd keep spending time with Parvati.
@Korra Quinn "Hm, back to inn it is for sleep," she said as she helped Korra along, "Let us go." She still had one arm around the bard to help her in case anything bad happened. She doubted that anything bad would happen now, she was fairly sure they were safe as it was and she didn't think the older girl would aggravate her wounds more than she needed to. As they walked along, Parvati began to wonder about things that pertained to the bard. She knew that the two of them grew up in very different backgrounds and had very different personalities, but that was all she knew and nothing more. "How old are you?" she asked, "You look my age, but are you older?"
Korra held onto Parvati, though she wouldn't stress her injuries, it wasn't so easy for her to get around just yet. Tomorrow would no doubt be a trying day as she followed along with Parvati's help wondering what her room would look like. "Alright, I bet it'll be comfortable mm?" Korra asked with a mellow smile thinking that Parvati who lived well before wouldn't settle for less since she was averse to sleeping outside already. Though the question about how old she was made Korra giggle a little, these questions were important after all weren't they? "I should be 19 as of now." She mused, after all birth dates were somewhat difficult without things like ID cards or birth certificates but she had a relative idea from family friends about how old she was. Beyond that though she'd probably not know much more then anyone else.
@Korra Quinn Parvati blinked in surprise. "Hm...thought you were older," she said as she looked at the bard, "Suppose not. Though perhaps, it is good, l am about the same age." She thought she was around 18 at this point. She had spent a lot of time traveling so she didn't quite know how old she was now. Ah well, it didn't really matter in the end unless she became to old to have children, though she didn't exactly want to have kids. They walked together for some time and curiosity was enveloping the Amazoness. She knew little about her friend and she felt like she needed to get to know her. "How did you and Kirin meet?" she asked, brows furrowed in though, "Must be good if friends now, yes? And long too." She guessed that they were near the inn she stayed at now, she could recognize the street they were on.
Korra snickered a little at the thought of being considered older, it was playful but at the same time not the most kind thing to say. "Hoho~ You thought I was an old lady then?~" She tried to tease with a warm smile, though at the same time she rolled her head back in thought glad she was the same age as Parvati after all, it made them more compatible in a lot of ways. Though the talk about how her and Kirin first met made her eyes a little sad, not because it was a sad memory, but thinking back to good times when she was learning from her teacher. "We both met when I was little, I used to play the lute for money to eat when I was really small, back before I knew how to forage. I didn't really get much back then though, instead Kirin heard me playing and plopped his butt down into my lap for no reason while I played. When I stopped, he'd get mad, and back then I was really small and delicate, so I'd get scared and keep playing and he'd just stay there in my lap. After a while, I got really tired, but he wouldn't let me stop until my Teacher found us and realized Kirin wandered off to me. He taught me that i had a magic sleeping inside of me that was like his and that was why Kirin liked my song so much-- so I learned how to summon from him back then." She explained with a small grin remembering how frightened she was when Kirin first found her, after all, back then she hadn't even seen a goblin before, monsters and creatures were scary so having one plop down in her lap and hold her hostage was scary.
@Korra Quinn Parvati shook her head. "No no, not old," she said, "Just...how to say, 20s? You seem that." She remained quiet as she listened to Korra's tale on how she met Kirin for the first time. She would nod every now and then as she listened. It sounded like a frightening experience to her, no wonder she played until her fingers nearly dropped. "You must have played well when little," she murmured, "Song reaches to everyone so young, perhaps?" The Amazoness recognized the street they were on when she decided to look around. "Almost there, just more and more to go," she said. She paused for a moment before giving Korra a light hug. "You are a joy to be near," she said before letting her go, smiling at her, "I am glad to meet you, Korra."
Korra chuckled a little, thinking about seeming as if she were in her 20s, she wasn't exactly sure, but she knew she wasn't quite there just yet. Almost, but not quite yet. If she could pass for it though, perhaps that meant she was more mature for her age? The prospect was amusing since her personality was still so childish, she was aware enough to know that about herself without anyone saying so at least. Though when Parvati talked about how well she played, Korra nodded her head in thought. "I was special when I was small, music was important to me, it was all I had to live by so I got stronger with it little by little. It was how I survived and how I still survive." She teased with a warm smile, after all there were few who could use music to summon creatures even if they used it to heal or support. Though the light hug stunned her, her cheeks grew a touch pink, the girl was so vulnerable giving her so many chances in a hug, but Korra didn't want to do anything too upsetting. Trying to wrap her arms around Parvati too, she nodded back happily. "Then that makes me even more special~" She commented as if Parvati finding joy in her was enough to make her special and grand or majestic. Korra didn't need shame or dignity or nobility if she could just have that. "I hope I bring you lots more joy in the future." She added with a sweet smile.
