One day while passing through the entertainment quarters. You were surprised to find a small prismatic like crystal just laying in a nearby trash can. Someone actually threw it away, so you felt it fine to take it. Continuing on with your oh so easily acquired shard. You felt someone brush past you as you made your way to your original destination. Thinking the worst, you reach to your pocket and find... the shard gone!

The thief wastes no time breaking into a run through the crowd and heading towards the backstreets. Can you catch him and get the shard you earned back?!
    • This quest is locked to a single character only.
    • DM controls the thief and crowd.
    • You have 5 posts to catch him before the shard is lost for good.
    • You may give up the chase any time.
    • You may do as you will with the thief if caught.

  2. Zia was wandering around the entertainment district on her own. Though she was a little wise beyond her years, it didn't change the fact that she was still a kid. She was wandering the entertainment district, looking for a fun show to watch or something like that. Maybe some sort of game to play too, she didn't know.

Then something caught her eye amid the trash. Curious, the little girl went over to the side alley and peered at the glittering object. It was a crystal that shimmered the colors of the rainbow when she picked it up and turned it this way and that. "Pretty..." she said as she put the crystal into her coat pocket. She then continued on her way into the district, searching for some entertainment.

After some time, she managed to bump into a person. "Oops, sorry!" she chirped, frowning as the person started to run. What was their deal? Her hand unconsciously made its way to her pocket and she looked down at the pocket in shock as she rummaged through it. The crystal was gone, but where? Then she remembered she bumped into the person that made a run for it. Were they the thief? They must be! "H-Hey! Stop! Thief!" she called out as she began to chase after them.

  3. The thief smoothly made his way through the crowd of entertainment goers with ease. The guy obviously did this in the area often and used the busy crowds to cover his escapes. Hearing the little girl cry out a few people tried to see if they noticed anyone but he had already mixed into the crowd and made his way to the entrance of a small side street going between a few buildings.

Once between them he pulled out his prize and checked it out. He was about 17 years old. Raggy hair and a bare chest with tight pants that hand several bands wrapped around them .He obviously thought he was hot stuff. Stealing from a kid wasn't his style but it was a pretty interesting looking crystal, shard thing. When he spied her picking it up. He thought it might be valuable. It didn't seem fake....

  4. Zia, tiny as she was, had a hard time getting through the crowd since she didn't have much strength to shove people out of the way. "Hey! Thief! Give it back!" she called out as she tried to shove her way through the crowd. She tried her best to keep an eye on the thief, but he was soon lost amongst the crowd.

The little girl wiggled her way out of the crowd and into a side street, where it was less crowded. She looked around and sighed despairingly. Now what was she supposed to do? The pretty crystal was gone and, as she looked around, she wondered if she was lost and would be able to know the way to get back home. Another sigh escaped her lips as she began walking down the side street.

Then she ended up finding someone without a shirt and she couldn't help but wonder if he was cold or something. "Excuse me, sir?" she asked as she approached the young man, "Why aren't you wearing a shirt?" Aren't you cold?" Something glinted in the guy's hand and her eyes widened. "Wait, you're the thief?!" She tried to reach out to grab the crystal.

  5. Seeing the little girl try and reach for the shard he held. The thief laughed with a mischievous grin. He rose his ram up in the air and dangled it laughing. The shorter girl would find it impossible to naturally reach it. With another laugh he pushed her with his other hand and backed up a little. This kid was joking if she thought she could get this back from him!

"Give it up kid! This isn't for little shrimps like you anyways. Get lost or I'll give you a noogie you'll never forget haha!"

He juggled it in his hands now as he turned and began to walk away expecting her to give up, but honestly hoping she would keep persisting so he could screw with her more.

  6. Zia made frustrated noises as she tried to jump up and reach the crystal. No matter how high she jumped, it was always out of her reach. "Give it back!" she said with determination in her voice. She was pushed back for her efforts and she fell on her butt after flailing for a little while. Her cheeks puffed out like a chipmunk's as she got back up and dusted off the seat of her pants.

"I'm not giving up!" she announced as she began to follow the thief. Her little legs kept in time with the thief's as she followed him, intent on grabbing her treasure back. She didn't know how she was going to do it quite yet, but she knew that if she was persistent enough, she would be able to get the pretty shard back.
