  1. Old City Bar: The Dancing Rouge

Deep within the old city ruins. There is a mostly on interesting looking building that is known as a rowdy bar for thugs and riffraff. It has good ale and a surprisingly pleasant atmosphere regardless of all that though. What most are on aware of... is that this place has a secret. A secret only certain people know about. You either need to be of a certain caliber of warrior, a member of the blackmarket running underworld... or someone with connections in the right noble circle, to know of this secret. Truly, Cecilia only just barely had any idea of what lied here, but today a routine patrol would lead to much more.

Going into this are of the Orario was uncommon. It always brought sadness to Cecilia to see such decay. In a perfect world, everything would be beautiful. If only it could come. The noble came upon the bar. It was called "The Dancing Rouge". Cecilia couldn't help but laugh a little in her head whenever she saw it. It was obvious that it was meant to mean "The Dancing Rogue" and it was misspelled. Although maybe it was intentional... they never attracted much female clientele though...It was built into a ruin that had been renovated just for it. That's all most knew. Heading inside with her hand not even on her sword hilt. She cautiously but calmly entered the nest of unsavory fellows. It was something she had done before. They at least tried to uphold some degree of the law. She only had arrest one or two people here in two weeks. Not too bad...

The bar did not receive her warmly. They never did. Heading to the barkeep while only lightly skimming the room. Cecilia would ask the bartender about any recent bad goings on. He was actually a fairly good person, who had once been a very bad one. It was nice to see people could change.

"Hello again. Here to keep check on this place. It's so far from everything else. How has your business been lately?"

The bartender would respond and offer her a drink. Smiling and taking a seat at the counter she replied.

"Thank you. Just water please, it's been taking somewhat longer than usual to finish things up today."

A few snickers were heard at this meek looking girl ordering water in a 'real mans' bar like this. It did not cause her any stress though. If anyone started anything. She would finish it... and some of these guys already knew that. Cecilia sipped her water glass slowly as she though to head out on the sooner side. Nothing seemed out of place here today.

A man entered the bar as if on cue. The doors slammed into the walls, as he stomped up the the bar counter next to Cecilia. He slammed his hand on the counter and began to shout about how he had returned and how it was payback time. Cecilia put her glass down and made a look at him. What was this about? Maybe she did have something to do here after all.

"Hey, it's your fault you lost. We can't all be winners... now come on Drew. Scram. You know the rules..."

The barkeep said trying to laugh it off as he made a odd little gesture towards the girl. The man would not have it though. He drew his large sword and pointed it at the barkeep.

"Fuck you! I want a rematch now! Right fucking now! Or I will tear this shitty place to pieces and hang your ass on Murdock's ugly face!"

Cecilia took no time. She had no idea exactly what this guy was going on about, but it had to be stopped. Perhaps there was truth to those rumors she had head. If so, something illegal was going on and it was her job to deal with it.

  2. OLD CITY BAR: THE DANCING ROUGE

"Excuse me... you should please calm down and leave the premises. Unless you're able to explain things in a more civil manner."

Cecilia smiled at him as she put her hand to her sword hilt but made no effort to stand from the bar stool. It really was not in her to be intimidating unless it was needed. She preferred to let others decide whether they would submit to her freely or resist and require further action. Cecilia was not a tyrant after all. She just upheld the laws both that were in place and what she herself believed in. The furious man spat on the counter and looked at her as if he was looking at gum stuck to his boot. He apparently had no idea who she was. Cecilia needed a lot more prestige still it seemed.

"The hell you think you are bitch? Stay out of this and I might ignore you!"

Cecilia kept smiling and flashed a badge of the Orario Swords at him before putting it away and drinking one one time. Her eyes not leaving him for a moment. She then said:

"Please, I just think you should be civil, now what's the problem? Perhaps I can help you..."

The angry man the bartender called Drew, did not look impressed but calmed down a little bit. He had bad run in's with the law before and the little brat would just make things worse for him. Putting his sword away and cracking his neck a few times. He spoke.

"I got ripped off. By this asshole and the hole bunch of em. Duelis-"

"Hey! Shut up! Look just come back later Drew. Damn."

The bartender interrupted him hastily. He looked like he was almost pleading with the man. Cecilia did not need any more info really. There was a sort of illegal fight club going on behind the scenes here. She had no choice but to shut it down of course. Such things just caused trouble and mysterious deaths of people who happen to enter them.

The noble patrol girl stood up and shook her head. The two did not seem to be paying much attention to her anymore, back to squabbling among themselves. The other people here were trying to stay out of it for now.

"I'm afraid I need to insist that you explain everything to me. I already knew that there was something shady in this place, and it was a matter of time before I found out. Now... you will give me what I want to know or I will file a report to have this place raided. I don't want you to lose your job so please... who is Murdock and what is going on here these past few months? I don't want to have to use force. Everyone here is a person after all."

The bartender sighed and leaned on the counter with his head in his hands. Drew was not as compliant though. Neither was half the bar who suddenly stood up and drew weapons. It seemed the whole place was a cover for some kind of illegal activity. Now Cecilia was a dangerous little fibber that had to be dealt with.

Cecilia would sigh herself now as she saw what was happening here. This new job combined with these kind of people made the bad times and direction of things so obvious.
