Descent of Freya (Open)

Planning, that was the most important thing Freya had forgotten before walking off of heaven and falling to earth. Golden eyes glowing with a slight glint of annoyance and self-hate at the start of her fall. She was so eager to get after that something she wanted, and forgot to actually try and land near it to begin with. Small flickers of black flames began to emerge from her metal boots as she kept gaining speed. One hand slowly rose to her helmet as she allowed a relaxed gentle yawn to wash away in the wind around her to far from the surface to be heard just yet.

Some of her divine power still within her allowing her to worry less about her current situation as she let her mind roam, the flames licking her knees now as she broke the outer most cloud line. 'Was it even worth sealing my powers to go after this? Could I not have just brought it to me with my old powers? ... Well that is rather silly looking back I guess...' A dull sigh leaving her lips once more as she moved slightly feeling slightly tense. Her body now balled up, arms wrapping her knees like she was going for the world’s largest cannonball splash if she was landing in water anyways.

Her figure now fully consumed by the black flames as the heat began to affect her, the armor not so much helping her in this situation as she let a low toned growl escape her lips. She truly was now regretting her choice of action as she shrugged her shoulders slightly once again. It would not be that graceful or godlike to land in a ball and leaving a hole to large on her approach so she chose to fix that. Limbs quickly spreading outward as she used the last of her divine powers to slow her decent to a stop, outside still having a good five stories to fall.

She forgot being a mortal was going to be hurt from such a fall and showed a quick sign of panic under her helmet. Arms moved to cover her face as she buckled her knees and braced for the impact. Her body slightly offset from a strait nosedive, but it was enough to make a princess catch rather easy if someone hand the upper body strength to catch the black armored goddess of love and death. Freya was making a entrance alright, but not one she would have planned for.

  2. Recruiting had gone rather grimly for the two deities, to such an extent that they now found themselves actively pursuing prospective members within the city’s… less desirable areas. Walking side by side while gauging the potential of various slum rats, the titan continued to carry about a crudely crafted sign over his shoulder. The words on it were to hopefully entice individuals to apply due to the low entry requirement… however it seemed to do the opposite.

Briareus familia looking for applicants… if you can read this, you quality.

Perhaps the statement came off as a bit condescending towards the illiterate. That, or it announced an incredible sense of carelessness on the god's behalf. Either way, it was a undertone that went well over the god’s head.

His feet growing weary from the endless hours of walking about the unpaved roads, the silver haired man eventually sat down atop a barely functioning fountain within the small square. A sigh of frustration sounded as he softly whined towards the death god that had accompanied him. “Yama… why is it so hard to find members? Zeus makes it look--"

Briareus’ train of thought was immediately clipped short as he squinted curiously towards the sky at Yama’s back. He had sensed a bit of divine power being used earlier but had ignored it since nothing apparent had resulted from it. Now that the source had become visible… a perplexed look washed across his face. “I-I think we’re about to see a goddess… commit suicide? She’s falling way too fast!”

A lone finger raised itself to point at the anomaly as he cried out with alarm. His worry was ill founded however as the figure released a final burst of power to slow her descent at the final stages of falling.

  3. OI!?

The tattoo clad God walked alongside another deity he considered to be friend. While the two weren't well known to be around one another, they found themselves in the same situation as of late and sought out to derive a course of action to solve their problems. The two Gods wished to support adventurers and grow their lineage through them, though they had a difficult time in doing so. Thus, desperate times called for desperate measures.

"Oi, uhm..." A peculiar face drew upon Yama's face as it seemed to shrivel up at the sight of the sign, stretching his neck behind Briareus to get a clear view. The overall look of his face would be rather humorous in a sense, though Yama was utterly confused by the sign. "You don't seriously expect to get a worth while mortal like that do you?" His pressed lips would mutter whilst holding the expression. He pointed to the sign as he jested about it, a smile broke his visage's strange look as he chuckled slightly. Running his right hand through the loose hair behind his head, "Suppose I'm not doing much better!"

The two would continue walking, though a sigh would resonate from the lips of his deity partner in crime. He'd turn to notice he made a stop at the fountain to rest for a moment. Briareus continued to speak with a sign of frustration in query to their current struggles, though he'd be cut off rather abruptly by something. "What are you looking at?" Yama remained bewildered by the squinted look upon his face, Yama looked down to see if there was anything out of the ordinary with his wardrobe and wiped his face thinking something could be wrong there too.

Though as Briareus would speak and point a finger Yama would jolt in shock, shifting his attention to the skies behind him. A grunt in surprise would escape his mouth as he sped into the direction of her descent. He shifted his gaze from figure to the area he thought she would land upon multiple times. "Oiii!" Yama would sound off as his foot steps grew in pace, a trail of dust being left behind him as he sprinted to halt her crash ahead.

Leaping ahead the two would meet perpendicularly, Yama would grasp the the fabric at the small of her back. In attempts to reduce the momentum of her fall he'd jerk his body into a spin opposite in the direction of her fall. If successful, the body of the female God would be jerked the other direction before being pulled in close to Yama as the two spun with Yama's momentum before they came to a crash on the Death God's back. They'd slide for a good few feet, Yama's face crinkled from the pain. Their journey together would come to a halt just before meeting a wooden hut. Bodies of nearby men and women of all races would surround the two as chatter rose about from the crowds.

Yama would open his eyes slowly as a look of confusion would come about him, "Freya?"

With his arms and hands full of various paper and plastic containing various goods he began walking home. It was his turn to do the shopping and he did it proudly, he just wanted to help out and be useful. He wasn't sure if he spotted it first or what it quiet didn't matter. All that matter is she came crashing down through the skies inflamed.

Soon he came as she fell the rest of the way unable to stop her self. Spinning her around until they were facing they came within feet of Zazue as his eyes splayed open in a bit of amazement and a bit more fright. "Freya" He heard the god speak aloud. With a nervous tone and wide eyes he spoke as well. "Are. . .are you okay?"

  5. Descent of Freya

Irritation rose throughout every muscle in Freya’s body. She had not asked to be saved, much less in such a reckless way. When they stopped moving Freya would move to stand up with a rather load growl. Black armor smoking slightly as she looked to the person who had caught her, golden eyes showing slight hostility before she spoke. ”Seems the mortal world has made the gods slightly less divine.” Her right arm slowly reaching down to offer the other god a hand as she still held the slightly annoyed look in her eyes.

Should the other god take the offered hand Freya would try to pull him up fast so they spent the least amount of time touching, being dragged around mid-air was enough contact with another god for one day. Shortly after she would move her hands to her helmet and turn it slightly before taking it off. Long black hair slowly falling to her lower back as her pale-tan skin came into view. Her golden eyes scanning the area as she kept her helmet under her left arm. ’Such a graceless place of filth, How could I have even remotely picked such a place to be my first view of the mortal world from eye level?’ A distasteful glance across the area before she returned her view to the god, ignoring the mortals around them.

”Where is this place? And why does it seem like these mortals have not seen a god and goddess before? Did everyone lie about coming down to the mortal world all this time?” Freya seemed to allow a puzzled expression to cross her face as she looked at the people around her. She could tell they had little and it was slightly repulsive to her, right arm rising as she waved almost like shoeing them away from the area before seeing the male closest to her and leaning into his personal space.

Her eyes looking into his for a moment before moving away a bit and sighing as she held her index of her right hand to her right temple and looked around again. ”Is there any place near here that is not filled with such a bad décor, I would like a more decent place before we talk anymore.” She knew she was being rather princess like but Freya was not having the best ‘first day with mortal world’ in her book as she tried to find somewhere decent around them. After only two steps however she fell to her knees, her body not used to her powers being sealed and her armor not exactly ‘light’ weight.

  6. As the events unfolded before Briareus, his eyes widened with shock and horror at the potential disaster that could’ve been. Fortunately enough, such was not the case. With the timely rescue by Yama and the not so graceful collapse of the pair, it appeared as though a crisis had been averted. An audible sigh of relief sounded from the titan after confirming this fact.

Footsteps quickly pacing over towards the crash site, he’d call out hesitantly to check on the death god’s wellbeing. “Yamaaaa?... You still aliveeee?” Of course the question was rhetorical, but it was the thought that counted, right? Briareus had also read that in a book.

More noticeably, a crass woman had also parted from the clouds of dust. Her armored silhouette drawing a clear cut figure when compared to the rabble about her, she’d proceed to express her disdain with… well, everything really. If memory served the titan correctly, his colleague had referred to her as Freya?

Taking a few steps closer to the tattooed god, he’d continue to watch silently without announcing himself. Given the man’s disposition, he proceeded rather cautiously around strangers, gods especially. When met with an unfamiliar face, sometimes opting for as few exchanges as possible resulted in the safest course of action.

His isolationist policy was quickly shattered however upon seeing the woman tremble. Shortly after, her collapse due to the weight of her own armor provoked an accidental response from the silver haired titan. “Hahahahahah! Holy crap! Her armor’s too heavy! Ahahahah!”

Quickly comprehending his inappropriateness at the situation, an awkward cough was made as he regained his previous disposition, feigning as though nothing had happened. Perhaps the goddess was too occupied to notice who had created that outburst?

  7. WELL ALRIGHTY THEN

Well, then. Apparently Freya was the same as he remembered her to be many years ago, though that didn't change the fact that she was here and it was likely she was going to need help. Though, Yama didn't need any of hers. The words she first muttered leaving a bad taste in his mouth he lightly swatted the hand away before helping himself up as his well being was questioned by the others. "Yes, yes. I'm fine, I'm fine. I seem to hold some amount of regret, but other than that I am fine." He patted himself off, readjusting his clothes to fit as they should upon his body. He'd nod to the lad that was at awe on the sidelines. Little did the kid know that he just saved him from witnessing the bloodbath of a suicidal plunge to the Earth's surface.

With that in mind, he felt the need to remind Freya as to why his actions were warranted. "Might I remind you, Freya: A God's body in the mortal world is not as sturdy as you think. Had I...we not been here, you would have been the only Goddess to step foot on mortal world and die at the same time." He'd look over to Briareus as he explained, correcting himself. Though Briareus required no credit for the save he did point her out. Without either of them the Goddess surely would have met her demise swiftly.

Briareus would tuck behind Yama in a way, which Yama wouldn't question or pay any mind to. He was aware of how wary he was around other deities. None of them were to be trusted, really. Yama felt no need to answer the questions she asked, looking to the boy waving his hand in gesture to go ahead and answer what she asked. "Enough of the wide-eyed reaction, answer this God's questions. I have no patience for her at the moment." He remained bitter about saving her just moments ago.

The sight of her crumbling made him smirk, before he'd let his head fall into his hand as the other waved while he spoke. "My point stands." He smirked. "Seems we're about to have quite the show, boys. The iron-clad God is going to have to take this armor off or she won't be going anywhere." He chuckled slightly as he spoke to the crowd, turning in place.

((Thus, Yama silently vowed to never be captain save a hoe again.))

His ears perked at the gods question and demands. "Oh umm you mean me?" he looked around at the place he now called home. "Oh well ma'am this is the slums, its housing for the more poorer citizens, and no. . . there are very much many gods." His voice was soft and low his nature soft as he looked to them. "Are you all gods?" He asked as she spoke about another place to conversation. "Oh well um. . . I don't think my brother would mind others. "Umm follow me please?" It felt weird telling gods to follow him. But nonetheless he kept walking towards his house looking back towards the gods who he expected to follow him.

Making it to the rather small shack like home he shuffled reaching into his pocket careful not to drop a single item. Pulling out a small golden key he turned the lock bursting in as he kicked off his shoes at the door revealing his black socks. "You may enter and s..shoes off please." Did he just tell gods to kick off their shoes, another weird feeling he wouldn't get over so soon. Placing the groceries down upon the table he looked to them as he tried to give off a friendly smile.

  9. Descent of Freya

Freya refused to give this god the satisfaction of being right. That was the last thing she was going to do in the first few moments of coming down to the mortal world. right arm shacking slightly as she slammed it to the ground and looked ready to start picking herself up regardless of her armor weight. But fate was against the goddess as her arm cracked down her back and began falling off regardless of what she wanted. The back exposing a slightly burnt up cloth top as she growled. She truly wanted to smite someone for these events.

With a bit of weight off her she chose to remove her gloves with a rather annoyed mumbling towards the company. ”I know the annoying male there is a god, as for the white haired one I could care less what he is if he sides with that god there." Each word held venom as she stood up, thankful her lower armor was not going to break on her since she did not feel much of her pants, mostly the heat of the metal directly to her skin. Moving on a heel she began to follow the only mortal that seemed to be ok with being around gods and was offering to help make this day less annoying for her.

Her steps had a bit of weight to them but she was simply just going to deal with this fact on her own for now and truly hoped those other two would leave if they only planned to keep making her first day any worse. Golden eyes scanning the view of the area as she walked, this 'slums' truly was not a place she wanted to be ever again. Taking a mental note of this as she listened to what the human had to say, but her response was rather hostile. ”I refuse to remove my armor any more then i have already had to mortal, unless you have a change of cloths that won't deface my appearance these boots and armored legging will stay on and that is final." Stern tone as she stood outside the house doorway.

She looked behind her to see if any other of the annoying gods had follow behind her. ”The same can be said for you two also, if there is nothing that can make this situation less of me being half undressed then I will take my leave and find someone who can help me." Should she hear anything she did not want to hear she would start walking away in a different direction, she had no plans to deal with anyone who wished to further her bad day. The back of her mind she also did not want to be indebt to the god of the underworld.

  10. A meek nod was given towards Zazue before proceeding to follow him home. Having grown silent for the most part, the titan simply looked around curiously before taking off his shoes and entering. All things considered, it appeared as though having a bad day might not entirely explain goddess’ poor disposition. To be frank, Briareus was starting to consider it as just a part of her intrinsic personality.

Not wanting to stick out more than necessary, he’d lean towards Yama a bit before whispering to him in a hushed tone. “I think that’s code for not having pants on…” He’d comment in secrecy at her unwillingness to remove the armor cladding her lower half before addressing everyone once more. “Shouldn’t we take her to the market or something first? I don’t think any of Apple’s clothes will fit… not around there at least.”

Though not really specifying the precise meaning behind his words, anyone vaguely familiar with the titan’s only familia member would immediately understand. The goddess was bit more… shapely in certain areas than the shy girl he was referring to. The topic of size put aside... it did seem like a more appropriate place that would better suit this woman's particular tastes.

  11. WELL ALRIGHTY THEN

Yama could do nothing but suck his teeth and roll his eyes at what had been going on. It was obvious he wasn't appreciated for saving the God from returning back to the heavens immediately. Though he did suppose that was just the way she was, so much so that she wouldn't even dare mention his name. It was all rather insulting, in the least. He hadn't the time to take anything personally in the end, as he wished to just help the God out and carry on with his recruiting. It was sad to watch her struggle in all that armor, after all.

The group would enter the residence and Yama would find it to be rather cozy for an abode in the slums, though he wasn't much for materialistic things. Simplicity was nice in his mind, and with that came better things. Slipping his shoes off he continued to follow the others. Briareus would beckon words to his ear in a low volume, which would cause a schoolgirl-like giggle to protrude from his mouth. "Would make for quite the show," He'd respond in the same volume before a slight smirk would indent the left side of his face. Briareus would come to make a good point, if Freya wished to get rid of the armor that weighed her down she'd have to get some sort of appropriate attire. "Either that or we can take a cloth off one of the clotheslines out here. I'm sure the people wouldn't mind giving a little something to the Gods." His head with tilt with another smirk as suggestion would fade to an end.

Putting the groceries down he looked at Freya pout and bicker about having clothes. He put a finger up in a eureka like moment as he disappeared further into the house. "One second!" He yelled from a back room coming out moments latter with a cream colored crisp shirt and baggy sweatpants. Walking over to Frey he held them out up to her as he nodded with a smile as he handed them to her. "I think these will fit, I accidentally packed some of my mothers belongings. I'm sure she has already gotten new ones she shouldn't miss any of these."

Walking over to the kitchen area which was literally a few feet away from the front door and living room he began putting up the food. Pointing to a room in the back he smiled at Freya. "You can change in the back room over there. It doesn't seem my brother is home, the rest of you can come in though." He said looking to the other two gods.

  13. Descent of Freya

Freya was not exactly fully happy about the clothing that was offered, but in her current clothing it was a rather major upgrade. Slowly taking the cloths as she bowed slightly and moved towards the backroom that the male had mentioned. ”Should any of you try anything indecent, you will quickly find out why Im also called a goddess of death." A deadly glance at the three males with a very light blush across her face before she quickly turned and resumed going away from them.

Reaching the backroom and slamming the door behind her to make it clear she knew that it was sealed, sadly she slightly hit it off the hinges but did not feel all that sorry for doing such. She looked the cloths over again before getting the top on first. Making sure to button each and every button on the shirt that she could, the top one unable to be buttoned sadly but unless they stood on top of something they would not get to see her chest and that was fine for now.

Her lower armor falling off causing her to almost let out a shout, the only thing stopping her was biting on her hand. Last thing she wanted was to give them a reason to rush to see her half undressed because they 'thought' she was in trouble. Pulling the pants up as she kept her metal boots on and made sure to check the outfit over once again. Tucking the shirt into the pants to hold them a bit for caution before she walked back out working on her hair. Fingers moving to braid her loosely and have it rest on her right shoulder before reentering the living room area. ”You have my partial thanks mortal, though giving a god hand-me-downs was the reason you do not have my full thanks." A slightly kinder voice escaped her lips before a stern look returned to her face.

  14. With the door slamming shut in an overly violent fashion, the titan slowly shifted his gaze to the other two males in the room. Unsure on whether he ought to make himself at home, he’d shift about uncomfortably before finally settling down atop whatever spare furnishing there appeared to be. Desperate to break the silence, he’d thoughtlessly comment about the most recent turn of events.

“I don’t think many mortals can claim that Freya’s gotten into their mother’s pants.” An awkward pause ensued as he quickly realized how wildly inappropriate that statement was. Head looking down in order to avoid eye contact, he’d quietly mutter an apology to their host. “Sorry… bad habit.”

Thankfully his attention was diverted by a loud clanging sound as the goddess’ armor smashed against the floor. A darting glance was given towards the other two with an implied meaning behind it. Was she going to be okay in there? Regardless of what they thought, Briareus had already resoundingly decided that he wouldn’t be the one to find out…

Given a few minutes, Freya would once more grace them with her presence. The titan’s eyes humorously falling upon the shabbily garbed woman, he’d restrain this laughter this time around before addressing the previous topic. “I don’t think she’s entirely happy with this… Did you still want to go to the market, Freya?”

He’d pause a moment to let her respond before allowing an after through to follow. “She’s going to need a place to stay too… and a job…”

  15. WELL ALRIGHTY THEN

Yama's head would fall into his hand as he heard Briareus's response to Freya fitting into the kid's pants. He couldn't help but smirk slight and curse the guy under his breath. He was going to find Freya's bad side real fast, which was something he had witnessed in her trips to hell many times. To think that a God that dwelled within the heavens could be so brutal was contradicting in a way. Although, he couldn't say much himself as he seemed to but heads with Hades often about how he handled things in the Underworld. Nonetheless, Yama would draw his hand back and swiftly swat the God in the back of the head. "Let's not get her sent back into heaven so soon by pushing her to use her divine powers. Not on her first day here, at least, Briar-sama." He'd be half joking for the most part with a playful smile, but just didn't want to see the woman unleash her furry on someone he considered to be a friend. Despite his close allegiance with Zeus, he admired Briareus a lot for the way that he carried himself in the human world. He wasn't like most Gods, he was much like Yama in a sense. They didn't go around flaunting that they were Gods to other mortals. Whether someone knew they were or not wasn't something Yama cared about, and Briareus seemed to be the same. Though this was likely why they couldn't seem to find any members for their Familias.

He'd be quick to apologize, which was well of him to say the least. The room grew silent as she changed, Yama couldn't really find anything to talk about at this point. All he could think about at the moment was what was beneath all that armor. Surely the armor had to be tight fitting and probably didn't exploit her actual curves. The thoughts riddled him as he rubbed his chin with a curled brow. Though he'd snap out of it as Briareus shifted his gaze to him and the boy, he'd raise a brow continuing to stroke his chin.

It wouldn't be too entirely long before she'd reveal her knew wardrobe, Yama bringing his hand up to his mouth from his chin trying to hold back his laughter. He'd turn away so that nobody would see. His back remaining turned he'd speak in response to Briareus. "Yes, yes. I do believe these clothes are not befitting to a 'God'. They lack your sense of style. I do believe a trip to the market may be well suited. Though, perhaps it be for another day if you so wish." Yama insisted they'd go, but he'd offer his assistance for a later date as well if she so wished. He wouldn't mind watching the Goddess try on an assortment of different clothes that were in the human world. Sounded interesting, really. Despite how most mean felt about clothes shopping it was something that the Death God somewhat enjoyed.

Following Briareus he'd speak on the topic of where she would stay and her job. "Well... I know this may seem rather... abrupt or perhaps it is bad timing for my earlier actions of saving your life which you so believe to be crude, but I cannot refuse you to staying with my Familia for the time being. My shortage on members has left me with a rather large amount of living space for others. As for a job I may be able to help you with that in the near future, as well. If you so choose for it to be so. I could use the help after all." He'd explain, gesturing his hands in front of him in different waves as he spoke to the room of people. "Also, thank you, mortal, for your help and your hospitality. Surely this day would have been rather gruesome without you. What did you say your name was?"

Looking towards Yanluowang he smiled as brightly as he could extending a hand. "Oh um Zazue. . . Zazue Volkner. I'm sorry but I don't know any of you, I try to keep up with the gods that come down but there are a bit of them." His eyes darted towards all the gods as they spoke. His disappointment grew as Frey didn't quiet appreciate the clothes that she had. He could of left her bare naked but he would hold his tongue for now. "I'm sorry, those are the only ones I had, I just came here from living with my parents. I guess being a broke adventure isn't all whats its cracked to be so far." He gave a friendly chuckle and a fake smile as he looked away from them continuing to put up various foods.

He was relived as Yanluowang offered Freya a job and place to stay. A god with a odd job? Really?

  17. Descent of Freya

”Forgive me if I seem truly hostile. My day went from something I was looking forward to, ... to a rather unfortunate situation. I truly do thank you for the change of cloths, but Im just out of my self today forgive me." Freya bowed her head with her apology, while he voice was not the most convincing for saying sorry she was not used to being the one who was wrong and was just doing the same thing other gods did when they fucked up and she had to clean their messes up. Back leaning against a wall as she bowed slightly again before speaking up.

”I am Freya, goddess of ... annoying love and beauty, war and death... as well as gold..." She held a lot of hatred for the first two of her mentioned divine powers, a bit of happiness towards her second two, and a lot of joy for her final mentioned divinity. She also refused to say one of her powers but it was not right for the current context. Shifting her focus to Yanluowang with a faint blush. ”I make no promise I will know how to do the job of a mortal well at first. But if possible I would like to have a source of income to eventually buy my own taste of clothing ... and a new set of armor..."

Slowly setting her gaze to the metal boots she still chose to keep on not having any shoes under them or things to protect her feet. Focus moving back to the group as she looked about the house. Her mind starting up the estimated price for something like this house, it would be the first stepping stone she would need so she did not hinder others to much because she had no place to stay. She also took into account how to spice a place up without being that expensive about it, her eyes looking like she had gone into her own little world for the time being, but would look over if she was spoken to.

  18. Seeming completely oblivious to the undertones of the current conversation, Briareus continued to sit there with an unperturbed expression on his face. From the looks of it, the two had made up quite nicely, leaving him well at ease and satisfied with how the situation had panned out. Nodding once with approval, the titan would stand up from his seat as an indicator that perhaps the trio of deities had imposed on the mortal for a bit longer than need be. Though his gesture might’ve appeared to be out of consideration, it was primarily due to the budding anxiety that pricked at his consciousness from staying around strangers for an extended period of time. (His tattooed colleague would be the most likely to pick up on this.)

    “Can you cook, Freya?...”

His voice trickled out hesitantly while waiting for the others to move. Though he had a valid topic when bringing this up… the god hadn’t properly explained the point he was getting at. There was a strong underlying tone that perhaps Freya wouldn’t do well on the service side of things due to her… personality. Well, perhaps the goddess of beauty and love might do well in certain niches... but he doubted that she'd be eager to join that aspect of the entertainment industry. As far as things needed to be done at Yama's bar... the silver haired god didn’t dare suggest she wash dishes. Even he found that a bit insulting to her stature as a deity.

As if a light bulb had gone off in his head, he’d snap back to reality while gently slapping a fist upon an open palm with a sense of enlightenment. “Goddess of gold… wait… Are you good with money? Do you need an accountant, Yama?”

It was clear that the trio had overstayed their welcome, after all. Though, it wouldn't come to Yama's attention until he'd notice the slight disposition of his titan friend. As he'd notice this his attention would be pulled back into the conversation as Freya would turn red in response to his question. Before he could speak, Briareus would interject with a small question, it was valid. However, Yama didn't see a particular skill set being needed to help care for his establishment. He'd shift his gaze back to the female deity, "There's nothing to worry about. The job is rather easy on its own, we will find a place for you. Don't worry!" He'd smile toward the end of his lackluster speech, his eyes trailing down her body unconsciously.

It was no longer than a moment before a suggestion would creep up to Briareus and he'd announce it with an enticing clap that ripped Yama's eyes from Freya's luscious figure. Disoriented in sorts he took a second to catch up on what had been said, he'd shake his head ever so slightly to bring himself back to reality. "Ah, yes. That is true... I do tend to fall behind in all of that mumbo jumbo. I typically left things like that to my Familia. However, you're more than welcome to take over the position if you'd wish, Freya." He'd send a wink her direction, though he wouldn't mean for it to come off provocatively it very well could have been taken that. Nonetheless, he'd cross his arms and prop his back upon a beam that held the structure of the building.

Closing his eyes as he spoke, "I will add that if you were to take such a position, I will be placing a great amount of trust in a soul that has only been in the human world for mere hours. If greed were to take you over, I'd have no problem with finding a man capable of slaying a God. Keep that in mind. This is no idle threat or challenge.... It is a promise, I assure you." His words would be spoken in a smooth and calm manner, yet would hold a certain amount of sternness to them. Kicking himself off the beam he'd wave to the two deities as he heads toward the exit of the establishment. "Not to worry, though! I have the utmost faith in you Freya-sama! Now, let's not impose on this mortal any longer since we've gotten what we came for." He'd say in a rather chipper manner, reaching into his pocket he'd leave a few gold pieces on a table on his way out. "Thank you, Volkner-sama! Your hospitality was much appreciated!" A shout would beckon as he went outside the door to the quaint abode.

Zazue looked upon the counter as the gold was place. His eyes perked in surprise as he picked up the pieces of golds holding them in his hands as if they were fragile life which would break at the smallest increment of trauma. "Oh ummm. . . thank you but you don't have to pay me. It is quiet alright." He looked towards Yan, would it be inpolite to take the money or not to? he thought to himself, he didn't want to offend the god or upset them so he stood their with a bright forced smile as he bowed to them. "Your gift will not be forgotten." His soft voice said lowly as Yan proceeded to the door.
