Hey hey Dungeoneer, it is that time of the month. To celebrate the upcoming patch and exciting events and whatnot, I'll be handing out free ap this weekend. Come chill with your favorite admin and have one on the house! But along with that note, there is going to be some policy-changes that I have been deliberating while staying on top of everyone's suggestion. Let's go through em: Adventurers reserve the right to join any familia they wish, there will be no cap. The god may turn them down, of course. OOC plug in for familia will not be allowed outside of dedicated thread, or if the adventurer post a looking-for thread Events will be announced from now on and be thoroughly planned out before they happen. God application may be a bit more strict from now on, where only active players may make gods, so familia don't just die when god players drop from the face of the earth
I like #4. I was afraid that people would be immediately drawn to making a god because...why not, right? But then becoming bored with it and simply dropping off the face of the planet. Which is an interesting conversation--what happens when a player who plays a god or goddess goes inactive? Do those players become familia-less? Perhaps the god/goddess could be an adoptable so as not to displace adventurers.
I agree. Though I think instead of putting them up for adoption the Familia should just be given an NPC God until someone fills the role again. That way it doesn't alter stories or anything. That way the next person can make the God as they see fit and if the new character doesn't roll with how the members like they can just change familia then or whatever. Though, I can't see a huge change in the character happening when you already know people are in your Familia and that there is a chance of that happening.
OOC, I'd say but idk. Idk how it could make sense as something that was IC. I'm sure fake little statuses about whatever like it's facebook is fine, but communicationg with one another seems a bit mer.
That's what I was thinking too... but some people post on that as if IC? If it's OOC, then plugging familia via that won't be acceptable then since it's not a dedicated thread... right?
