"It's Noah... come on before the sun bakes your head." He announced. To Kagu he sounded vexed, but Kagtsuchi didn't have anytime to focus on Noah's tone because a tsunami of fear started thriving within him. The slightest touch could have made the boy's soul jump out of his body now, he peeked to the side to get a glimpse of Noah's face, and briskly turned his vision back to their destination. Kagutsuchi let out a muffled sigh, of course Noah was not frightened by this, not even at the least; from the looks of it he seemed seasoned enough to do all kinds of quests alone. In any case it was the vibe Noah naturally gave off, and it was certainty a trait Kagu wanted to quickly develop. The walk towards to entrance was a rather quiet, and being such a shy person it made him oddly nervous because he felt he had to make decent conversation with his companion, but he didn't know what to say. He tried to script a conversation in his head, and how it would play out, but the negative thoughts of being rejected clouded his thinking, this caused Kagu to remain silent. It was probably for the best, he had a fear of being picked on due to his past, even from someone he thought was suppose to love him. Kagutsuchi slid his hands in his pocket while noticing a few kids playing kick ball together under the warmth of the sun, the site of it immediately brought a snug smile to his face, the smile was even followed by a chuckle. Ẓazue ▼olkner Zazue came running along through the town past the people and playing children. His eyes darting around searching curiously. He was nervous to say the least, how could someone like him do anything on his own. Which is why when he went asking around albeit slowly and extremely awkwardly he found out that a monster had been on rampage in the dungeon coming in from a higher level he was sure he wouldn't make it along. Being that his brother was quiet busy he couldn't quite ask him to tackle the job with him. Delight came to his mind as he continued to ask around more only to find a rumor that two young gentlemen planned to handle it themselves that day. While the excitement of possibly having others to help, he also felt nervous of actually having to talk to them. Resolving to try and break his reclusive shell he went on a search. Attempting to get a general description of them he went on his way running to catch up. "Green hair, blue shirt, red hair, bandanna." He repeated aloud to himself trying to remember as he spotted something that looked similar to his chanting. Coming within inches of the boy he stopped tapping him on the shoulder panting a bit as he held his hands upon his knees looking up. "Are you. . . going to fight the monster? Can I help. . . please." His voice was soft and sweet, timid in nature his eyes held determination yet an apparent nervousness
NOAH Up to this point he had only heard a few things about the creature and most of it was probably just hearsay and exaggerations as normal but then again the simple fact that there was a kill contract put out on it would have to make at least some of the rumors to be true; he obviously doubted that the rumors of it being 20ft tall and breathing fire were the ones that had any actual facts in them. While it was quite advantageous to take up a quest or two before trekking into the dungeon he had figured that Kagu would of have chosen one a little more... well on his level. Noah figured the guy for a coward pushover, which he probably was at this point, but at least he had something pushing him forward deep down though for himself while he did not exactly showcase it on his face yet the very thought of fighting life or death against the named creature was enough to heat up his blood even if he would have to end up having to finish the thing off. While for himself not having a weapon on his person was never a issue but for someone like Kagu it might of been a good idea to have one before venturing into the dungeon. "Here... you can figure out which way the pointy end goes yourself right?" As he spoke Noah gently tossed over the sheathed sword he had been resting on his shoulder, the blade itself seemed to be pretty standard with a arms length blade; luckily for Kagu Noah had a some to spare. "Are you. . . going to fight the monster? Can I help. . . please." Just before the two of them entered the dungeon their progress was interrupted by some dark skinned newcomer speaking to Kagu and after hearing the nervousness of his words really the only thing that came to Noah's mind was 'I am not dealing with another one, one per day is enough.' He glanced over the newcomer before turning his head back around and began walking again towards the dungeon entrance "If you want him you can deal with him, just remember that you will have to feed and walk him everyday..." The tone of his voice made it quite questionable on Noah's outward stance on the subject, honestly he really did not care either way as at least the dark skinned guy had a weapon with him already. Plus another body meant one more thing that a enemy would have to focus one in the heat of battle. 'Well...this is where my story to greatness begins, hopefully I don't die.' He thought, Kagu savored what he could from the sun's positive vibe. "So do you just plan on punching and pissing on everything to death down there or just be the bait for me?" Noah uttered, Kagu nervously rubbed the back of his head holding an awkward smile on his face, the boy kept his silence. Noah suddenly tossed Kagutsuchi the blade he walked out of the store with earlier today, the boy tried to safely catch it with both his hands, but it ended up sliding from his grasp and hitting the concrete that was now crying. Kagu quickly looked over to Noah with his mouth opened in shock, and back down at the sword. "S-sorry, Noah-san, forgive me!" he shouted while hastily kneeling to grab the sword. And out of no where, Kagu felt a light tap behind him which made him jump in fear, his face smacked the ground as a result; he turned around and saw another boy who seemed close to his age. After Zazue spoke, Noah said some harsh sounding words while sauntering away. The boy before himself seemed rather kind, Kagu slowly stood holding the sword dangerously, in fact he was liable to cut himself or Zazue right now considering how close they were. "Um...I-I think that would be fine. My name is Kagutsuchi Izanami, and that there is Noah." He said, but by the time Kagu got to Noah's name, it was a whisper. The boy began walking backwards with a smile that was crooked, he was sweating with fear now. Hopefully Zazue didn't find it to weird. 'Heh...maybe this guy might have more in common with me than Noah-san who's leading our way.' Kagutsuchi then turned turned around, he surely wanted to ask the new stranger some things about himself, especially why he was panting, for now that had to wait. @Noah Gensch @Zazue Volkner

His eyes wandered to the beautiful scenery, despite the tales of terror it held sometimes the place actually was comforting and pretty in a sense. "So do we have a plan, a way to corner it or any other information on it?" He said, maybe asking questions would be helpful in them defeating the beast. NOAH The windy downward trek into the first floor of the dungeon, despite knowing where it lead, could lead to sense of peace in a way for as the natural light disappeared into the darkness behind you your eyes would slowly adjust to the dim light of the caves forward and put into perspective that this world before you was no longer the same you left behind you... then again most people probably wouldn't see it this way and just focus on the more dreary thoughts that lied ahead. Before long Noah exited the windy tunnel that lead into the first floor and set his eyes again on the ever so familiar surroundings and some moments after that the other two would enter behind him. "So do we have a plan, a way to corner it or any other information on it?" As Zazue spoke Noah's gaze would be passively panning over the surrounding tunnels for any sign of recent activity "A bit from the corpses it leaves behind. Big, heavy weapon... and least according to the rumors is good enough to take out a entire party." as the words left Noah's mouth the tone in which he spoke slowly shifted to give off a slight sentiment of excitement as these types of monsters obviously tended to be more on the rare side and as thus would always prove to give out a real fight. Most of the information that he had on the monster was either from the guild or from rumors and both were just as unreliable. All of which meant that if they wanted to find anything real about their prey they would have to find it down here in the dungeon by what it left behind. "We need to find its hunting grounds in the deep parts of the floor first; everyone's guess and best bet is its prowling down there... and if were lucky well find some sorry saps it left behind before it finds us." The border between danger, and safety was crossed; Kagutsuchi could not reply to what Zazue said to him for a few seconds. The eldritch ambiance of the dungeon naturally dropped its heavy presence; it felt like senbon were being driven into the nodes of Kagutsuchi's skin, he tread behind Noah, and in front of his new comrade deeper in the dungeon. "Well, Zazue-san...I desperately want a change, that's all." He whispered, Kagutsuchi looked around as they continued walking, he decided not to reply to the other question which pertained to a plan, he figured Noah already had one plotted, all the two boys had to do was follow his lead. Approximately four meters down the tunnel to the right, peculiar sounds could be heard right after Noah was done speaking. The hair-raising waves traveled a great distance just to reach everyone's ear drums, it even made Kagu stop in his tracks. "H-he sounds pretty close N-Noah san." He whispered while shuddering, "Is there some kind of attack plan we can perform without anyone getting hurt?" Kagutsuchi said while looking at Noah's back. @Noah Gensch @Zazue Volkner

"Yeah I too want to change, I sometimes want to be better as I alrea-" With his sentence cut short by thrashing his ears rang simultaneously his heart began to race even more. Continuing to walk the smell of blood and death became apparent as Zazue's nose twitch instinctively. A continuous strut was only meet with a stronger and stronger stench as they continued and with a splash upon the bottom of his boot Zazue looked down his eyes widening in horror. Blood. . . pure blood layed about sprinkled all over in small puddles all over the floor, followed by entrails as the thrashing only got closer and louder and a lot wilder. "I. . . . NOAH "H-he sounds pretty close N-Noah san... ... perform without anyone getting hurt?" In the dungeon hearing the echoing sounds of dungeon beasts was easily considered to be the norm of the land though the pure strength behind the sound that echoed across the caves was a show of strength that whatever it was it was no mere goblin. "Don't get your panties soaked just yet, otherwise it may just follow the smell thinking it found a female." the tone of his speech showed little to no signs of worry concerning the noise they had heard. Noah would continue along the tunnel forward until the path began to open up more to reveal a much larger cavern ahead and more importantly the smell of blood became more than apparent in the air. "Nothing that guarantee's that you will come out unharmed but as long as we get the initiate on him it will be a step in the right direction..." "I. . . . I think. . . we found it guys." As the sound of Zazue's frightened voice reached his ears Noah was already looking down upon the mangled remains of some sorry adventurer who decided to leave bits and pieces of himself across the floor. "Unlike this sorry sap.. stay alert now... don't know what else the smell has drawn" If he already knew everything he wanted to he would of just turned around right then and there to stay away from the corpse thus ensuring that they were in the best possible condition for it would only be a matter of time before some creature caught wind and strolled up for a free feast... if it hadn't already. Noah stayed on full alert as he followed the short blood trail that lead towards the remains of the adventurer before him to begin inspecting it. "Hmm... armor is completely wrecked, has to be pretty strong to do that... damage to the torso is crude but definitely made by a heavy sharp weapon... Blood trail leading here from the torso wound, was probably alive as he tried to crawl away only to get his head smashed in here... nothing has started to eat him yet so hasn't been here for too long...and a trail of bloody heavy set footprints leading... that way" as Noah finished speaking his eyes followed the heavy set prints across the ground towards another tunnel on the other side of the opened cave. "The fact that the corpse was left here tells us one other thing that either its territorial or... it likes to kill." On the last note Noah stood himself back up keeping a ever so eye on the view of the multiple tunnels in front of him. As he stood there the lack of noise in the surroundings was beginning to become more and more apparent, a silence which never meant anything good. "Well Kagu you wanted to be a adventurer, think of this as trial #1." As he finished speaking the figures of a group of 5 or so armed lesser goblins began to appear from one of the tunnel's ahead of them most likely drawn towards the smell of a fresh corpse in the area. No matter what happened now they would have to finish off this group quickly otherwise it will just drawn more and more until they were too tired or injured to fight their real target. 568 @Kagutsuchi Izanami @Zazue Volkner
Kagutsuchi turned his head, and glanced at Noah, the boy was baffled by his spontaneous words. It couldn't be helped though, in Kagu's mind he assumed he had to fight by himself, and of course he would do it since he was fixated on becoming a better version himself. He clasped the handle of his blade, in a way his stance resembled his father, Amatsu. He spaced his feet five inches apart while anchoring his center of gravity; without taking a seconds of awareness to how tranquil his mind became, Kagu seemed to be another person right now. His breathing was steady, hearing synced to pick up foot steps, and other audible things within his vicinity. Kagutsuchi scanned for the parcel of hollering goblins to get closer, boy were they freakishly hideous creatures. Despite the boy's lack of combat experience, he wasn't an idiot, the spirit of tactical combat stood at his side; considering the sword given to him was arms length, he had a decent range over the goblins. Not noticing how fast the the goblins were, he was stunned for a few seconds, this allowed the first goblin to swing its wooden club at a moderate speed which whacked the flat surface of the blade causing it to scream in pain. Kagutsuchi slid back twenty-six inches. Thanks to the prepared balance he wasn't completely left open, but before he could retaliate with an attack of his own, an above average goblin with speed came swinging it's bloody, wooden club from the left and landing a direct shot into Kagu's rib cage which sent him flying like a base-ball into the nearby wall. The sheer force of the strike made his consciousness pulse, a broken rib, and bleeding from the forehead was what he got for a reward for losing his focus. Kagutsuchi traced his eyes towards Noah hoping he didn't interfere, at least not yet. The boy wanted to prove his worth, but the act of displaying it was foolish considering he wouldn't be in much shape to aid them defeat the strongest beast on the floor. Kagutsuchi aimed the sword's point on top of the ground to prop himself for standing. He took a deep breath, and closed his eyes only for a second, if he was a war-tiger it was time to display, the two goblins came dashing at him at their fastest speeds. The first was slower considering he had the most physical power, and then there was the fastest among the five. Kagutsuchi accelerated at a speed which left behind an after-image that held mass. Swirls of dust found its way into the air, normal eyes would have not been able to keep up with this speed, if they were lucky they'd catch the blur. He shifted his arms forward to the goblin's neck, and impaled it with the blade, as soon as the tip of the blade gnawed away at its neck, he let go, and smoothly used his inhuman agility in order to twist his body around the slower goblin's wide strike. By the time the bat swung past him, Kagu snatched the back of it with his left hand and forced the goblin's head into the ground by smashing it with the club. Just as he beat the two goblins. there were three left, and they were already on the attack. One of them quicky grabbed their blades and swung violently at Kagutsuchi, he blocked and parried some of its strikes, unfortunately there was one strike the collided into his blade so powerfully it knocked him in the air which caused him to plummet. "...Guys, i'm drained..." he sluggishly said, truth be told, Kagutsuchi had never moved in such a way his entire life, this was his first. The fact he was tired from lack of exercise, and plainly getting wrecked by the goblins, he wanted to watch Noah, and Zazue display their skills.
Ẓazue ▼olkner He watched as Kagutsuchi handle two of the goblins with what most would call a bit of a struggle. As Kagu was launched into the air Zazue blinked rather slowly exhaling as the screeching of the goblins came closer his foot was brought flat against the earth he pushed himself forward flinging at the charging goblins as he finally opened his eyes. Filled with determination with hints of wrecked nerves Zazue's mood changed. Going from a total wreck he displayed true courage. Spinning akin to that of a ballerina albeit a bit more sloppily his sword was unsheathed and embedded into the skull of a goblin which planted it right into the wall as well. Putting his foot upon the goblins body pushing forward while pulling back on his sword as the two other goblins sauntered forward. With a heavy a ho and a few grunts he wretched his sword free stumbling back a bit. The bottom half of the goblin fell as the top half of its head went to follow it but Zazue had other plans for that piece. Bringing his foot forward he punted it at the goblin further away from him catching both of them off guard. As he charged at the goblin closes bringing his sword down upon its skull and with a wretched crack it was gone. As the bit of brain slide down the last goblins face its eyes looked upon his world. With a shaken moral and no comrades it turned tail. But it was to late Zazue with his hand raise above his head launched his sword at the beast sending it flying true the last goblin was impale as it launched forward falling into a pit of blood. Walking over he exhaled relinquishing the sword from the beast neck. He looked towards him looking at the death before him and with a faked smile he scratched the back of his neck his nervousness returning. "Ha ha I guess I got kinda carried away huh guys?" He felts it shot breath before anything, a fist crashing into his back sending him flying and skirting forward amongst the bodies and blood. With heavy grunts and moans of pains he tried standing but it was to no avail he couldn't move. Exhaling his body went into overdrive as his heart of a warrior activated. His hands pressed against the ground as he stood holding his side, he still felt the pain in minor increments but for now he was fine. Looking towards the beast it was huge and the weapon hit held was the largest Zazue had ever seen. Its face showed pure joy. . . was it smiling at it. It was smiling at him large deep inhumane chuckles escaping it lips. Zazue looked to the others being behind them now. With struggled breathes and gasps. "That rules out territorial." NOAH Despite the scene before him literally being a matter of life and death in a sense he had little actual inclination to actually take part in the fight against the 5 goblins that emerged from the tunnels. He was far more curious to see what the other two would do in the situation as to whether they would actually succeed or force himself to take part and finish them off. Though that does not mean that he would just let them fend for themselves as it would be a small matter to intervene too take off some of the pressure emanated by the goblins. He would monitor the scene carefully watching not just the goblins and their desperate attempt to kill off their new foes but also his two party members as to how they responded in each moment of the fight. "...Guys, I'm drained..." "Ha ha I guess I got kinda carried away huh guys?" As the two of them finished off their respective fights a soft slow clap could be heard from Noah's hands "Ow not bad, not good, but hey you lived to fight again. Though you really should learn to share, don't want everyone else to get bored watching you two great warriors." Though it was a struggle for Kagu to pull it off he had surprisingly held his own against the 2 goblins he had faced though despite that it was obviously apparent that the showcase he had just displayed took out more than he would probably admit but it was the simple fact that he pulled it off that mattered. "ZAZUE!" As the words left Noah's mouth Zazue would have already felt the impact of the giant Kobald that rushed him from behind "Idiot, Did I not tell you to stay alert?!" By the time that Zazue was already standing up Noah's body would have already sprung into motion showcasing a level of movement speed that surpassed both of his party members though for some reason Noah did not even seem to have a weapon in hand making it appear that at first that the weapon he had lent to Kagu was it. A meter or so before Noah would of run directly into the Kobald he cupped both of his hands over his right shoulder swinging it downward as if he were already holding something a weapon and jumped towards and slightly above the Kobald's head. As Noah performed this seemingly moronic move the giant Kobald began to swing his large axe horizontally and upwards from his left and Noah's right. Though a moment before his Axe would of made contact and severed Noah's torso "Gain." the moment that the words left Noah's mouth literally out of nowhere a large Claymore the length of Noah's own body appeared in his hand and made impact with the Kobald's great axe creating a small shock wave and sparks in the surroundings knocking back both the Kobald's great axe and causing itself to stagger slightly. The sudden appearance of the Claymore seemed to have cause some sense of confusion in the Kobald's eyes giving the time Noah needed to perform his next move. Before the Kobald knew it Noah's continued forward momentum allowed him to plant his left foot straight onto the the Kobald's head and as it did Noah continued to push himself off to send himself flipping backwards away from the Kobald's range releasing his left hand from the hilt of the Claymore "Gain." When Noah spoke the same word as he did before he swung his free left hand towards the Kobald's body from near his right shoulder and as he did 3 throwing knives appeared in the spaces between his fingers and one small wire encased red paper ball which immediately left the hold of his hand and flew towards the Kobald's torso. The throwing knives themselves, as they impacted the Kobald's body, slightly embedded themselves into its torso in 3 varying locations though the thing to note was that the Red Paper ball that Noah had also thrown impacted the Kobald's face and as it did it burst releasing a small red smog into the surrounding air that smelled of pepper, chili powder, and something else. The Kobald almost immediately began to react to the pepper smog that encompassed its mouth, eyes, and fresh wounds causing it to cough and tear up both horribly and quite painfully where they met. Between Noah's movement speed and the quickness of his successive moves the scene that had just plaid out before them almost appeared as one fluid motion. All of which allowed Noah to cause it to stay debilitated until his own backwards movement caused him to land near almost right back to where he had initially taken off in the first place with the tip of his Claymore scratching the stone floor as he slid slightly back from the backwards momentum. "That will give us a few moments before it gets past the pain, once it does Kagu me and you will keep it occupied from the front and Zazue circle around it before it recovers and once you have a opening... stick something sharp up its A**." If the other two were to see Noah's face it would almost be incompatible to those that he had showcased before, a devilish smile and eyes focused on the target that laid before him and a air around him that just stated that he was going to enjoy this fight. Before he took his next move he would let his two party members to re-gain their composure and hopefully recover some sense of physical ability for the fight that now laid before them, he had confidence in Zazue being up to the task but right now his main thoughts of their chances were on Kagu was already drained from the previous fight. Elegance, it was the only word to define Noah's flawless movements, not a single action was wasted by the experienced dungeon delver. His speed was difficult to comprehend, truthfully speaking, the only glimpses of Noah's activity Kagutsuchi processed was the clashing of weapons, which violently released sparks, and shock waves. Smoothly following his combo, he launched unique bombs of some sort, however, if Kagutsuchi, and Zazue were not careful they were going to suffer the same results as the monster before them. Kagutsuchi quickly wiped some of the blood from his forhead and took off his jacket as Noah gave him the plan, by the time Noah was done dishing out orders, Kagu had already ripped both sleeves from his green school jacket. The first sleeve was wrapped around his head to stop the bleeding, and the other around his mouth and, nose. "A-alright Noah-san, i'll do my best to act as a decoy so Zazue can deal the final blow." He said to the both of them, but in truth, this was an A, or B tier beast, something along the lines of these attacks might have not been enough, Noah had to have a follow up attack after Zazue engraved an increased amount of pain to its body. Kagutsuchi mustered the strength to continue fighting, he fiercely held his sword with his digits, right now they all stood against a mighty foe, and the only way it was going down was with godly cooperation. Kagutsichi looked around for something to throw, he saw a rock laying on the ground which was most likely dropped when he was smacked against the wall. He picked it up without a second though. He launched it with half of his might at the Kobald's nose to snatch its attention while it was what seemed to be agonizing pain. "Over here, you ugly beast!" Even if the Kobald had a difficult time seeing, hearing was the least of its worries, and soon enough it began charging closer to the three men. Kagu looked at Zazue, and then Noah with a worry, but he believe they would do their parts now. He looked forward with a smirk on his face "...Yeah, lets go." @Noah Gensch @Zazue Volkner
Ẓazue ▼olkner Looking towards the beast his eyes perked up as it came running forward crashing throughout the small tunnel. With ferocity and anger blinding carrying its dangerous pepper mist. Zazue charged forward as it swiped through the air, ducking low his should barged into the wrist of the demon Kobold as his own arms smacked its hand to the side. Redirecting its force into a nearby tunnel wall as all sorts of rock came crashing down. Shifting past the beast Noah's words rang into Zazue's mind as his sword came ringing forward. Right up the beast lower back missing its literal ass by inches. Roaring the beast whipped around facing Zazue taking his sword with him as it swiped at Zazue. Falling back and unarmed he looked to the beast as it wiped its eyes with vision returning it relinquishes its Axe from the wall creeching loudly as Zazue bolted. Not out of fear but instinct being the new decoy he looked back towards OOC @Noah Gensch @Kagutsuchi Izanami RP Related comment here.
NOAH "A-alright Noah-san, i'll do my best to act as a decoy so Zazue can deal the final blow." Despite what perceptions that Noah had of the boy Kagu earlier not just the sound of the words that emanated from his mouth but also from the look of focus and determination on his face tickled Noah's mind in just the right spot as there was something more to the boy than appearance gave off more so that he was proving himself to be reliable enough to listen. As the their Kobald enemy continued to write in its pepper induced pain Noah lifted the scarf around his neck over his mouth and nose just as Kagu did to help stave off breathing in whatever was left of the concoction in the air ahead of him as well as a per-caution if he needed to use another. As he did his eyes quickly looked over and took notice of a chip in the blade of his Claymore. "Over here, you ugly beast!" Noah stood himself back upright from his previous kneeling position bringing up his Claymore with him which at the same time Kagu's rock would of struck the Kobald's nose and it was from this that an Idea sprouted into Noah's mind knowing that standard attacks could only take them so far and more importantly they would need something extra to lay in the finial nail onto the coffin. Noah's eyes quickly scanned their surroundings looking for items that would fit the bill of what he had in store for the creature though there wasn't enough yet and the key to making more lied with their target. "Kagu! Keep pelting it with those to piss it off though... make them a little bigger." as he spoke Noah's rested his Claymore onto his torso looked at Kagu and moved his hands to give a rough size of the rocks that he wanted thrown at the creature and while Kagu would not know it would be around the size of a standard jar. While bigger meant that the rocks would not fly as fast towards the Kobald it was apart of his idea. It would be around this time that the Kobald would start to be over the worst of the Pepper Bomb's effects and they themselves would have to make their move. Though someone in their group seemed to have jumped the gun. "Not Yet!." Noah's words ran through the cavern towards Zazue who's mind was seemingly taken over by impatience and battle frenzy which only resulted in little damage being dealt and loosing his weapon. "Bloody Idiot." Noah had wanted him to rest for at least a few spells to regain his head and composure after his injury to wait when it was more injured and preoccupied not become the focus of the Kobald's attention; Noah knowing that out of the 3 of them Zazue had the most physical strength and could deal the most damage with his strikes. The Kobald watched the fleeing Zazue to face the being that had just injured it though seemingly not to give chase but to watch as the man fled from his sight to its own much apparent amusement. As it did Noah was already on the move towards the creature holding his Claymore low horizontally to his left. The Kobald took notice of this and reared back swinging his great axe with him horizontally towards Noah's upper torso which was met with air as Noah's body sunk downwards, planting his feet into the ground to gain leverage, and he began turning his body clockwise. He lowered his stance just enough so that the Axe just barley missed his skull though it was clearly close enough that probably some of his hair was severed off of his skull. With his continued motion Noah followed through his rotation caring his Claymore horizontally across the Kobald's belly; which seemingly did little damage against the Kobald's natural defenses. As his attack finished Noah released his right hand from the Claymore's grip "Gain." with this word a Crossbow appeared in Noah's right hand angling it and his head as such so that it was pointed upwards towards the Kobald of which he immediately fired causing a heavy bolt to implant itself in the outside of the Kobald's left arm. "...So cool." he whispered to himself, the top-tier of speed combined with agility Noah effortlessly displayed carved its way into Kagutsuchi's brain, and heart. Some day he wanted to be as cool as Noah, but prior to the quick-witted actions of Noah, Zazue messed up the plan being hasty, all hope was not lost, not even by a long shot. Noah gave Kagu his orders, and the boy was going to follow them accordingly. Before the bow was launched, Kagu threw the desired rock into the air, it was two sizes over a jar, but it was a good enough to him; after tossing the jagged rock six feet into the air, and with his arsenal of knowledge, the boy briskly spun his body to gain a good momentum while calculating the time, and position he needed to accurately the rock with efficiency. After doing so, the flat surface of his blade smacked into the rock like a baseball bat which caused it to eat through the air like a baseball, Kagu was not sure where Noah wanted him to aim, but he aligned it with the monster's head. "Noah-san!" Kagu yelled, the yell carried boy's hope that the plan was going to work. Kagutsuchi didn't stop with the first rock either, he threw four more with both his hands, after he threw the final rock he stabbed the ground with his blade to see the results of Noah's plan. The boy looked towards Zazue who was not to far away, Kagutsuchi's eyes conveyed some kind of message to him, Kagu was worried about Noah due to the range he was at, if something went wrong they needed to leap into action quickly as possible. Ẓazue ▼olkner As Noah and Kagu attacked itz Zazue's flee to gain some distance was short lived as he stopped gently bashing his own head. After his brief moment of scolding himself he was short lived as he waited and stalked the beast from behind. Slowly inching closer and closer Zazue was determined to leave his mark on the beast. Right as after Noah attacked it Zazue leaped into action pulling his sword from the beast back and be fore it could turn to face him the rocks from Kagu hit angering the beast as it turned back to face them not finding Zazue a threat. One thing which the beast would soon rue as Zazue pulled back brining his sword into the side of the beast with a might roar Cleaving chunk of flesh as he pulled the sword back watching waves of blood descend from the beast. Angered and frustrated at the constant barrage of attack the beast did the only thing it knew how to do. Knocking back and forth wildly it thrashed upon the tunnels as the entire thing shook wildly walls forming cracks and dents in them and rocks falling down rather rapidly. "We have to get out of here!!" Zazue yelled as he fell back as rocks back down in front of him. "Circle around, don't get lose. . . and don't worry." He said with a smile as both Zazue and the beast were caved off. All Noah and Kagu would hear all the wild thrashings of the beast and Zazue screaming "Over here fatso." NOAH To say what events would transpire events as a close call would be somewhat of a understatement as even though there were 3 of them there fighting this beast of a Kobald its own physical abilities easily surpassed their own with the only thing going for themselves being their numbers, speed, and most of all their intelligence. At this moment Noah was still on the ground and had just fired a bolt from his crossbow into the right arm of the Kobald who towered above him which had caused it to slightly rear the upper portions of its body backwards and giving off what could be easily described as a angry painful growl more akin to beast than man. Though much to Noah's own disappointment the Kobald was already over the pain and swung down its great axe down upon the stationary Noah. In this moment Noah had little time to think or even act, let alone dodge or shift his position in any meaningful way to avoid any sort of major damage that would easily put him out of the rest of the fight. "Store, Gain." As Noah spoke these words both his Claymore and Crossbow disappeared from sight and in their place appeared a metal shield strapped to his left arm, which was already held upwards from its former motion, held initially parallel to the ground though in the mere moments before the Axe impacted his newly appeared shield he began to lift the right side of it upwards to give it a angle and placed his now free right hand against its back to sturdy it. With that little amount of possible preparation the great Axe impacted his shield creating a grating sound of metal against metal and sights of sparks as one clearly overshadowed the other in both make and strength. "Noah-san!" With what could be seen as almost perfect timing a series of high impact rocks made contact with the Kobald torso and face causing it to both step back and release the pressure on the shield below him. At the same moment Zazue made his own move and dealt a hefty blow to the Kobald's side. With the pressure released from him and the beast distracted Noah used that opportunity to re-gain his distance from the creature flipping himself backwards from the ground back onto his own two feet though he was clearly not placing pressure onto his left arm. Noah could only watch now as the beast thrashed around from the series of 3 attacks it had just accumulated which by themselves would not have amounted to much though together in such a quick succession caused the creature to go into a fit of rage that would soon clearly show itself to cause more danger to the team than itself. As the fit continued Noah's ears began to pick up the sounds of the stone around him begin to shift and twist causing him to look upwards only to see that the somewhat sturdy ceiling of before began to crumble and release itself into the hollow air below itself. "Kagu, Move it." Noah quickly shouted out towards Kagu as he quickly turned himself around, pivoting his feet hard and dashed towards the path which they took to enter the cavern that was now collapsing. As the roof of the cave continued to collapse and begin to show signs of subsiding the majority of the tunnel he was now was already flowing with a cloud of dust. Luckily he already had his scarf over his mouth otherwise he would probably be in a fit of coughing from the sheer density of the dust. "Anyone dead yet? If so I am not dragging you out...tsk" As he spoke the cave in almost completely subsided and the heavy dust cloud in the tunnel began to settle. Now that he had the time Noah lifted up his his shielded left arm revealing a incredibly obvious dent and split in the middle where the Great Axe had impacted it revealing bloodied flesh inside of it . He had hopped that by angling his shield it would cause more of the force to shift away from the shield but clearly it was not as effective as he had hopped. A steady trickle of blood began to drip from his arm and hand. "F***er went both through a metal shield and gauntlet." "Over here fatso." From beyond the wall of the cave in Noah could just make out the sounds of Zazue on the other side, clearly he was still alive and kicking though that statement meant that their Kobald friend had also been just as fortunate. He could only just hope now that Zazue's idiotic ideas were at a end now and stayed there otherwise he would just find himself facing more than their dear Kobald. 807 @Kagutsuchi Izanami @Zazue Volkner
