Hinabi Race: Runarl Age: Twenty three Sex: Male Sexuality: Unknown Relationship: Widow A few distinct difference between Hinabi's Face claim and his appearance are as followed. Both his left and right ears have black snowflake earrings near the base of his ears and white feather earrings near the tips of his ears. Across his left cheek bone is a faded X scar, while a small scar lines under his right eye. His eyes both a light blue color like a clean sky. His teeth are all sharp and white as snow. His blood red hair runs down to his mid back region. Locked around his neck is a thick rusty metal collar with two small chain links to the back side that seemed to have been forcefully ripped from the rest of the link. All over his exposed chest region are countless scars from swords and bladed whip marks, the most dangerous is the large Cross scar going down from his collarbone to his belly button, and the second deep cut just above his six pack abs. His back having no scars, but his Falna tattoo takes up most of his back, his goddess Falna mark hidden by his hair and cloak. Exposed arms show countless scars along with a match set of rusty thick metal prison cuff around each of his wrist. A small chain hanging from each. Sharp fingernails line each of his fingers, and a black ring rest on his left ring finger alone with a white ring a bit up on the same finger. Often wearing some tattered and worn out red pants Hinabi does not like to wear shoes though, only if truly needed. His sharp toe nails and scared feet match the rest of his body, and another thing of thick rusty metal cuffs are left around his ankles with a bit of chain still remaining. Unlike any or most Runarl species Hinabi has two tails flicking around from above his pant belt line, each tail four feet long and matching his blood red hair and ears. Height: 5’7” Build: Skinny & Agile Personality Judging a book by their cover is something a lot of people do to Hinabi, at a glance this tall Runarl makes people uneasy due to his countless scars and clear appearance of breaking the chains that might have once bound him. But in truth Hinabi is a peaceful giant who only looks scary because he never rose his fist to defend, only took the attacks aimed at those around him. He truly cares about all creatures that exist and has a policy to never lift his fist against someone unless they harm his goddess emotionally or mentally. Hinabi remains a calm adult even under the pressure of approach hostility and does what he can with his words and actions to try and stop anyone getting hurt. Never one to walk past those who are struggling around him without doing something to help them out, ranging from giving them his better cloths, some of his gold, or getting them food. He truly lives to try and make sure everyone lives a better life and would have it no other way. But all light has a shadow. For Hinabi this shadow is his very kindness, never one to attack others he has often caused things to be worse for others, but he hates to see people suffering from pain. His fears are rather numerous, but his main three are the fear of failing his goddess, the women who pulled him out of his self pity after losing everything. His fear of fire, having lost everything to the flames he thought would help him protect others. Lastly, his fear of scaring people away, he just wants to talk, but people tend to avoid the scary adult. When it comes to likes, his favorite thing would no doubt be his goddess smiling, the light of his world is always brighter that way. Cold foods are also on his list but not nearly as favored as his goddess and people able to get back up after falling down in life. The gentle giant can be described no other way. Positive: Calm | Caring | Cheerful |Companionly | Dedicated | Friendly | Generous | Gentle | Hardworking | Peaceful Negative: Clumsy |Foolish | Forgetful | Frightening | Meddlesome | Shy | Slow | Well-meaning Biography Chapter I: Abnormal Runarl Hinabi was already going to be the odd Runarl among his kind, being the child of two different chiefs of the tribes was enough of a stir for the people to want to be there when he was born. But adding on the fact that despite both tribes always being white furred Runarl's he was born as red as blood and with three tails none the less. It truly did cause a commotion and many of the tribe members argued that the parents or other tribe was lying about their history. The fighting making the young Hinabi cry and his mother stopping the men from fighting with a rather loud remark. "Regardless of what had happen between our tribes before it does not change that this child is the link between us. We wanted to have a future where no more of our blood was shed did we not? That is why this child is the red color of our past brethren's blood, this is the last red fur our tribes will seen between each other." The words settling the young child down and the other Runarl as the celebration began for the end of the conflict between the two tribes. Early years for Hinabi had mostly been spent dealing with a bit of insults for being the only red Runarl amongst the white Runarl of the north. But he never felt any reason to cry, his mom had explained to him that his fur marked the end to conflict for those around him so he felt great pride for his fur and hair color. He truly felt that from the bottom of his heart. Chapter II: A Peaceful soul As the years kept to flow past the young boy it eventually became time for the kits to learn water and ice magic. But yet again Hinabi was the odd one out, any attempt to use water magic would go up in flames, rather literal as he seemed to have no way to use the magic of the tribes. It truly caused him to sink slightly in his mind and it only got worse when he overheard the parents talking about him later that week. "I know you cherish your child, but that Hinabi seems like a southern Runarl rather than a northern one dear." - "So you think I slept with a Runarl of the south then, or that we have southern Runarl in our blood? How do I know it is not from your side then? The point is Hinabi is our child honey, and that includes all the things that might make him different from everyone else." Hinabi felt nothing, he had been singled out and was always the outcast, even his parents felt it was needed to be pointed out. But he could not bring himself to run away from them, he felt that should he leave that the tribes would fight again because he did not show them the red fur they wished to avoid spreading to their children. With no teacher that could help kindle the flames of his magic Hinabi would learn it on his own, spending the time in classes as the training dummy since he was rather resilient. But nothing remained good for the poor Runarl for long. Chapter III: Tragedy His tenth birthday went from a great day to the worst scar in his heart and memories. It started like any other birthday for him, the tribe gathered to celebrate another year of peace thanks to his birth uniting the tribes. But mid way through the party Hinabi watched as the sky rained fire. He heard his parents telling the women to get the children out into the forest and for the men to get ready to fight. Hinabi, not wanting to leave his parents side rushed to hide in a tent and watched the horror. The southern Runarl had attacked them, fire burning away the ice walls his parents tried to use to allow them to escape. Then he watched the snow turn red and his parents fall to the ground. He felt his mind go blank as he rushed out to them, his magic going wild before the world went black around him. He woke to the sound of crackling flames, his vision red and blurred from tears at the carnage around him. Her tried to cover his ears with his hands only to hear the screams of those that had been burned alive by his magic. It broke his mind, and left him unable to respond to the group of humans that chained him and dragged him away. There was nothing for Hinabi to hold in his fingers tightly anymore, he had killed his fellow tribe members, the adults and kids alike his flames spared nothing in his wake. The sound of fire now crippling in his ears as it forced back the memories of when he blacked out. He was a prisoner to a group of humans, and he had no idea where he was or where he would be going, but if he could die there it would let him atone for what he did. Chapter IV: Broken Prisoner Atonement with death would be a long time away for the poor child. He was forced to fight, the humans dragging him into arena after arena fighting others his age or large beast. He held to his life for a reason he did not know back then for three full years. It had become so painful to move, his body was lined with scars, his heart never repaired and only shattered more with each passing day and night. He wanted to be freed from it all. It was that night, ten years ago that he watched the sky for no true reason. He watched what seemed to be falling stars scatter from the heavens far out of his bound reach. he wished to be freed, he wished to be giving the chance to make up for all his wrongs. But he assumed fate would not give him the chance for such and keep him a prisoner for others entertainment. Eyes slowly closing as he chose to sleep for the night, he would be fighting again tomorrow. Chapter V: Meeting Cailleach The morning he awoke was met with the face of child a bit to close to him as he moved to get away from the young girl. He was never told to fight a young girl, and he was not going to do it. arms wrapping his chains around himself to limit his movements more as he kept moving back every time the girl got closer to him. His eyes held fear that he might lose the last bit of sanity he had if he was attacked and moved to kill the girl. But, with his back to the cage bars he closed his eyes, if he was going to kill her he did not want the pained face burned into his memoires. That was when he felt the icy chill wash across his cheek. Eyes slowly opening to see her hand trying to lift his gaze to see her eye to eye before the girl spoke. Her words and actions that follow had been enough to cause the broken child to see just a glimmer of hope to atone for his actions. With a slow nod he accepted the challenge that would place his life on the life in chance to be granted his freedom. He was given a simple task, win his upcoming fight. However, he was to win without raising his fist to fight or use his magic. He never chose to use his magic, the sound of his fire sent him into flashbacks and caused him to freak out, but to win without raising his hand to fight was going to be the slightly challenging task. The foe he fought though was what caused the most trouble, a beast that did not know when to stop attacking, and since he was told not to attack he would no doubt lose from collapsing. *history beyond this point can only be found out ICly* Status Familia: Cailleach’s Familia Occupation: Artifact hunter| Traveling merchant | Dungeon support / tank Archetype: Magic Floor Achieved: None Current Level: 1 Strength: I - 10 Vitality: I - 60 Dexterity: I - 10 Agility: I - 10 Magic: H - 110 Skill: To be acquired Magic: Fireball [Fire, single-target, Offensive, Short] Sends a fireball the size of a human skull from his hand or the middle of the cross hairs on his rusty staff.
