Sleepy goddess Freya had no plans to end up back in the slums, to be honest she wanted to get to the upper districts and look at the prices of buildings. But after a few hours of walking without much knowledge of the city layout from ground level she ended up back near the place she first fell down to only a week ago. A lot had happen it that short week though, and she for the most part did not hold it that highly as she sighed and kept walking across the beaten paths looking for someone who knew the area and could get her back on the right track. Just looking around she only saw building roofs and could not see where the center of town was and where the outskirts of town had been. Seeing a small park with trees she chose to take a break from all the walking. Her dress shoes lightly clicking on the tiled path as she sat on a bench below a tree. her nose cringing slightly at the bad smell carried across a east bound wind before she leaned back, her head pressed against the bark of the tree behind her. ”Why must mortals make tall buildings when it makes it harder to see things that have higher ground like the upper district from the street level. What more there are so few people in these tarnished residents that know how to get to the upper district..." Freya growled shortly after he rant before sinking into her seat some more. The splintered wood annoying her as she only had more reason to want to get out of this area, but her mortal legs needed rest. Tags: @Sleepy Ash
Three days passed since the adventure into the dungeon with the cousin of his race. Ash had not returned to his usual area, in fact with the certain events happening within the city, it was in best interest to leave the city. However, Ash stayed because a night ago, a man with brute strength was attacking women of the slums... So happened Ash was walking passed and stopped the man with monster-like prowess. Ash didn't have many mortals but attacking women in his book were even wrong, living across from the old park, Ash took it upon himself to not watch the women but to make sure she was safe and out of harm. The morning dew on the wet grass was nice, but the aroma coming from the slums had bugged his nose to the point he'd pulled his collar over it a bit. Several hours passed and Ash had fallen asleep, under the oak tree. Various sounds filled his ears, none alarming. The faint clicks of heels against the pavement path echoing in his mind, hearing the sound come closer and closer in till erased with a squishing sound of fabrics. The overall complaining liberated from someone's voice...the voice was no doubt a women's. Ash liberated an annoying sigh from the opposite side of the tree while bestowing his visual onto the warm blue heavens. "So you're lost in the slums...follow the path, make a right then walk straight for half of mile...make a left by the brick wall. That will lead you to a building, walk inside move straight and open the door, make sure to close it behind you. Boom your back where you've come from." Ash said bluntly towards whoever on the opposite side of the tree. @Freya
Sleepy goddess Freya figured no sane mortal would trust the words of someone who they did not see, and as such she chose to look for the person behind the voice. Moving to stand before the figure and if he was laying on the ground she would look down towards him, here eyes slightly annoyed as they glistened lightly. ”Firstly, what path are you even talking about. Secondly, Entering a room would not lead someone to a upper district. Lastly, do you have any idea who you are speaking to mortal." Sparks began to flicker in her eyes as she kept looking at the mortal before her. She was yet again leaving a bad first impression but when she got annoyed she got picky and hostile. Noticing that if the male was on the ground he might have a view she quickly pulled her shirt down a bit more over her shorts, she did not want to give them any reason to annoy her more and ruin the chance to come back to the mortal world. Her face slightly red as she shacked her head and refocused on the situation at hand. ”The least a mortal could do is escort a goddess in trouble, who knows it might even get you a reward." While her tone had a lot of hostility still, the subtle message was still there. 'I'm terrible with directions and will only get more lost if I go alone...' A little red returning to her face as she kept trying her best to keep control and not actively ask for someone's help with something. Why did she have to be so stubborn with getting mortal's help every time. Tags: @Sleepy Ash | Appearance
Ash couldn't sleep anymore and his duties as a man were no over. Caressing his hand with his face, he did not expect for the women to approach him with such daring words. Beneath her on the morning dew with his eyes drawing towards her persona. Her outfit wasn't that of the slums, more importantly, he was caught with a nice view of the fabric underneath her shirt from the way he was positioned. Her small pale hands pulled the shirt down a bit, Ash chuckled. The tone of voice was ignored simultaneously with his arms pressing against the earth to move from his backside to his buttocks. Silver locks fell over the facial area - casting a shadow image. "Then you shouldn't be in the slums in the first place...." Ash said liberating his personal from the grassy floor. Coming to his feet, Ash was a mountain to this small tree, his eyes shifted directions once noticing the redness building in her cheeks. Ash slipped one hand into the depths of his pocket while the other resting on his hip, a small peachy color filled his cheeks. Clearing his throat while still listening to the women before him he kept his eyes looking away from her. "The name's.... Ash, Sleepy Ash...." Pausing before speaking again. This time, his eyes came focused onto her vessel - scanning every inch of her unique body, from the blacken locks resting on her crown to the shape of her body with the color and texture of her skin. No doubt she was a goddess, she was beautiful...however, the tone of her voice should immense prowess and strength. The aroma of her words lingering in Ash's wolven ears, shaking his head several times over, Ash turned his back towards the women and started walking. "Follow...or be stuck here... Some Goddess, what happen lost your famila?" Ash was speaking bluntly without a care in the world, however, if she notices his head was turned a bit to the side. She would surely see his crimson eye waiting for her to speak. The vibe oozing from her persona was different somewhat intense... @Freya
Sleepy goddess Freya did not the tone the male had with her or how he was acting. A growl resting at the back of her throat before she let it vanish so she could answer his question. ”I don't have one, I left heaven without fully planning and until I have what I need I won't try to get a familia following me." Only speaking part of the truth she did not want people looking to her for answers and guidance when she had no idea where she would be going in the mortal world yet. She moved her gaze downward slightly in embarrassment she was not fully focused on the male himself, just following him to get out of the slums as fast as possible. Last thing she wanted was to run into anyone she knew and things get mixed up. ”So why is someone like you in the slums Sleepy ash?" her voice not so much curious as it was to just avoid it being to quiet. The mortal also felt off about her, and she could not fully place her finger onto the reason for such without knowing more about him. Her left hand raising to move her hair out of her face as the wind picked up slightly, her right hand moving to her shirt to keep it down over her shorts. While she hated the clothing for their appearance, she liked the feeling and look of them and was trying to find a good bottom piece to match her top still. Golden eyes slowly beginning to roam, and if Ash was not talking to her he would soon find out when her eyes roamed she began to follow them and lead to why she was so easily lost. The mortal world, while this area was unappealing to her taste, held a lot she did not know and wanted to find out about after all. Tags: @Sleepy Ash
Liberating his attention from her and back ahead to the road, following the direction he had explained earlier, in the midst of the walking she'd ask him a question. Ash shifted his head and looked at her once more, this time seeing her skirt flew up from the sudden breeze. "I don't belong to anyone...I'm a simple man who works for money..." His tone was a bit dull, releasing a sigh from his lungs after he spoke. Ash turned his head back, his ears twitch several times to the beat of the heart and footsteps follow closely behind him. Then the question that everyone asked, "Why hang out here in the slums?" Ash came to a swift halt, turning on the heel of his boot with the silver locks slapping him in the face. His eyes started into the bright lemon color orbs, his hand came up from his waistline, closer and closer to reaching her face. However, not brave enough to actually caress her cheek with his hand Ash simply turned back ahead on his heel and started walking away. "It's not like I can't leave, I was only here making sure a woman was safe.... I usually sleep under the cherry tree.." Ash said, speaking about one cherry tree found in a local part in the nicer half of the city, a common area for Sleepy Ash, most who knew him would come there to seek him out for aid. If not there he'd be in the dungeon already. Finally bypassing the slums market..or what was left Ash could see the brick wall ahead of them. @Freya
Sleepy goddess ”Seems there are still some people like you on this world also." Freya's tone was calm as she followed behind ash. Her mind and eyes no longer wandering around but focused on just what kind of person Ash was under it all. Was he truly a kind person, or did he hold some darkness he liked to hide under the false light he showed to others. Golden eyes glowing with interest for the male as she moved to walk beside him. Freya wanted to ask the male more questions, but she did not want to seem overly curious about him. She tried to read the type of person he was by his posture and actions, thought it could also be seen as her looking him over similar to how some guys looked at girls. A light sigh escaping her lips to be taken in any way the male wanted before she looked ahead wondering how much longer it would take to reach their destination. ”How much further did you say it would be until we make it to the upper distract mortal?" While she did know his name she was not going to say it as she just follow a few paces to his left side. There was not much else Freya could learn about Ash until he started talking more, her ears ready to try and pick up any type of emotion in his words like annoyance towards Freya for asking questions.
