Prior to the events within the tower of babel Zeus' emotional outburst and activation of divine power has conjured an unworldly storm. As black clouds gathered, thunder and lightning raced across the sky, heralding the coming of the storm. Powerful winds picked up, packing enough force that could blow small children away. As the sky began to weep for the Almighty Father, rain water began to fill up quickly. All of the city's drainage were completely filled and overflowed within mere 20 minutes, causing an unprecedented flood in the area around the Tower, and soon enough, the entire city. At the current time, the water level has reach 3/4 of a meter.

In lieu of this sudden catastrophe, criminals residing in the biggest and most overcrowded prison had organized a breakout. They have turned the Dathe Garrison into their primary fortress while the rest have begun looting and killing the citizen so they could stock up at their fortress. The Council of Adventurers and the Guild had put out an emergency quest that calls on every capable adventurer to exterminate these criminal scum.

Hephaestus came out of the woodwork within the inn filled with beautiful maiden and beer for a man's pleasure. A beauty nice butt was pressed against the lap of the male dressed in light clothing with gold hanging from his neck and arms. A medallion pressed against his forehead with a glimpse of light peering from a nearby window shining upon his forehead, in the distance of the inn within the corner a male sat near the window staring out into the outside world only to witness a flood. His eyes showed immense fear, telling from how he reacted with a rush towards the door. Drunken and stumbling as others soon followed by the load roaring thunder filling the blue heavens above. The beauty left his lap within seconds, next came the Azure boy collecting the dishes in the Inn followed by his master's instructions. Following the traffic outside, Hephaestus looked up into the heavens... A painful sigh was liberated from his lungs, his mind started to ponder what could've cause such a misfortune. Staring at the heavens and the motion the blacken clouds traveled, leading back to the tower of babel. His expression instantly became annoyed..."What idiot went into the dungeon..."

"Some cherry head God no doubt..."
The rain wouldn't cease, the rain drops became heavier, filling the streets much faster. The acceleration of water was painful...soon a flood came about rushing towards the location where Hephaestus stood. A storm brewed in the mind of Hae, his overall entity became much more serious - a tall brute was rushing passed when Hae stopped him for his weapon of choice. A hammer, Hae then started swinging the Hammer in circular in sync with several side steps. Several citizens and adventures alike stopped and watched the slender man swinging his hammer at high-speed. Reaching up to at least hundred or so miles per hour, upon releasing the hammer from his grasp the hammer was sent so fast that a shock wave had formulated within the atmosphere.

Traveling towards the massive wall of water.....The hammer connected but the wall of water still stood! Hephaestus expression was baffled by the outcome... "What!? Are you fucking kidding me?" He cursed! The first time in mortal...a history where the father had cursed. Those around him again started running. He'd failed...Hae hated the thought of failing worse than dying, turning his vessel aside reaching his hand outward towards the flood rushing towards them a heavy mantra fell over him....

His lips parted while...he started to chant these words..."Thus shall not fail, ascending from the ashes from hell and back thy Hephaestus shall unleash the Burning He-..." The chant was broken when several brave adventures rushed before him to assist the God in stopping the flood.

  2. Washing the dishes with a warm, white rag in the inn's kitchen, Kagutsuchi sighed lowering his head. 'Wonder how many times I have to do this before I can own a business, I've only been in a dungeon twice, it isn't enough. I need more!' He thought to himself, but his worrisome thoughts were interrupted by unpleasant cries for help from outside the kitchen, curious as to what was going on, Kagu turned off the sink and set the plate, along with the rag down. He stepped out the door and was nearly knocked off his feet 'W-what the heck is going on!?' He instinctively looked around to spot where the ruckus was originating, with the hordes of customers in the way it was hard. Kagu quickly maneuvered through the frighten crowd of people while taking some blows to the face, and stomach. He finally reached his destination with bruises on his face only to see what they were desperately running from, he entered a room of eight men, one being a god, but of course he was not worried about any of them. A glimpse outside the window, and someone's world was going to be shattered like glass. It even frightened Kagutsuchi, 'Is it the end of the world?' By now his face was shrouded with fear, and hopelessness. "W-whats going on, and how did this happened" He said while pressing a hand on the glass. His question was not directed towards anyone specifically, but families, hard working people were going to be consumed by this storm, and the thought of THOSE people desperately wanting someone to save them made Kagutsuchi want to do something for them. The boy was not apart of any familia at the time so he was not destined to have the blessings of anyone for what he was about to do.

The cowardly boy shed tears when he thought about the helpless lives that might have been lost due to the occurring flood. For the first time in his puny life, Kagutsuchi allowed himself to fall into vexation for two seconds, mother nature was not fair to mankind. Before he allowed himself to feel more, he saw a wave of water consuming a little girl, and a black dog she held tightly. Kagutsuchi's heart fell deeper, he felt cold, it was as if his soul was leaving; despite the bundles of fear felt, he clenched his fist like the man his mother wanted him to be. He marched past Hep without acknowledging him or the men, he grabbed the wooden chair the god sat on, and slung it into the window. The burst of glass could only be heard by those in the room, he ran towards a cabinet in the dining room, and grabbed a rope, he took a deep breath 'whew...hopefully this works, just wait for me.' With out a moments of hesitation, Kagutsuchi jumped in the aggressive, rushing water, it wasn't the smartest idea considering the amount of pain stinging his body from the drop. With distraught bleeding from his eyes, he looked for the girl, if he wasn't a war-tiger he would have not been able to hear her crying for help.

Learning her location, he launched the the one meter rope to the girl with a grunt. His stamina was being devoured by the monstrous flood, with one eye closed, Kagutsuchi was almost out of it, but for the sake of the girl, and the , he had no choice but to be tough. "Grab on to the rope!" he hollered, his act of 'bravery' was absolutely stupid, but it was all he knew. The girl replied to him, and with whatever strength she had, she gripped the end of the rope. "I-I can't hold on!" she screamed, Kagutsuchi needed aid from someone, but the friendless boy didn't know who. Only someone with the wits of Noah could devise an effective plan to save her, he felt like he was losing consciousness, but he thought some encouraging words to himself. 'To be different, to change, to be strong!' By the last word he uttered, something detonated inside him, he wasn't going to yield any part of himself to the current enemy. But what erupted from him was a radiant flame of courage! "Graaaa!" His fangs began to show as he unleashed a potent war-cry, and with every ounce of strength he possessed, he yanked the rope which caused the girl and her dog to fall in his arms.

By now Kagutsuchi was breathing harder than ever, his stamina was gone, but he still couldn't be weak. Being tough was the only option right now. There was no point in anyone believing in him if he could not save the girl, and himself. "Please...hold on a while longer." He said sparingly to he girl. He desperate, droopy eyes looked for something he could hook the rope on, but it was useless, he forgot to make a loop in the rope. With his last ounce of might, he swam through the devilish current while roaring loud enough it would shake even Hep. The only thing Kagutsuchi had going for himself in life was his vision, but more importantly, his kindness to others, and if this was his last duty as a mortal, he was going to save the girl. As they were being pushed down, he saw a hook he could latch on. He grabbed it with his slippery hand quickly as possible "Y-you have to swim with all your strength to that wall, you'll be safe, just ta-" "But what about you!?" "...Don't worry about me...I'm a hero, and a hero never dies!" He said with a smile on his face, of course he was lying, but with her young age she was going to buy it. The girl nodded, and climbed up the wall and took shelter. '...I barely have any energy left to save myself.' He thought, his grip surely was lessening, and death was waiting to chomp his soul. '...God, please, I don't want to die yet'

  3. Kessler had been spending a great deal of his time with his mother when the rain started falling harder, he didn't invest too much time, thinking that his Goddess must be out doing some sort of errand. She was usually out and about making some kind of effort to lend him a hand, knowing how much he was dotted on though still made him a tad worried about disappointing her. It was a pressure he felt all too persistently during peaceful times, but swallowing it down, he turned his eyes away from his worries to his mother's withered face. "A-Ah, hold on Ma, I'll get the window--" He spoke, but even as he began to lift the glass, he heard the chaos outside that made the color drain from his face. For a moment, he panicked, flustered, he slammed the door shut earning some concerned words from his troubled parent. His mind raced, but after a while, his expression grew bitter knowing that he couldn't be idle any longer. "Ma-- I'm gonna go outside for a bit. If Kami-sama comes back, let her know I'm helping people in town okay?" He spoke mid-dash from the room. Forcing himself not to hear his mother's concerned cries about the recklessness he was no doubt going to display.

It took only a flash for him to get his equipment ready, his gauntlets and grieves were the highest quality on the marked, lined with fancy etchings here or there that made them seem sleeker and more stylish. While these things didn't matter much to Kessler, his goddess thought they looked nice on him which was reason enough to keep them when paired with their performance. He stifled the unease that came with standing out as he pulled his jacket up to protect his head from the rain as he stepped out from the front door, but the weight of the rain was different from what he expected. Catching him off guard, he caught himself staring up at the clouds "This isn't right-- Quality or Quantity-- It's artificial--" Was the conclusion he came to, but he didn't know it was the work of a god's power, believing it to be a rogue spell, he hoped for the best, but would no doubt come to be disappointed. He tried jogging to the closest patrol building, but the one guard who remained to turn others away caught him quickly calling out. Stunned by what he heard, the guard wore a bitter expression that matched his own, something he was unused to seeing on the confident captain's face as he explained bits and pieces that he knew. The information was scattered, as if there were unconfirmed troubles coming from all locations, if it weren't for Kessler working as a watchman during the night with them, he might even be lost on what to do first.

One task stood out from the others, rioting criminals, people trying to escape from prison during a tragedy that effected a whole town? Unreasonable! The very thought alone was enough to make Kessler clench his fists, the grinding of his armored hands rang but he caught himself when asked by the guard where he wanted to be stationed. "... I'll-- I'll go to the garrison, those criminals can't be allowed to get out and mix with the civilians. I... I have to..." He spoke, a weary smile being flashed, he was scared-- scared and even awed but there had been times when he couldn't turn away before. He found himself once more bitterly adding things to that list. Gritting his teeth, he received some kind words from the captain as well as a firm pat and shake on the shoulder. The man certainly didn't envy Kessler for his decision, but there was also a measure of pride that could be gleaned from his gaze that was filled with pity. The man had watched Kessler grow through his time as a guard, and all the mistakes he's made along the way. Even though Kessler had to clench his teeth to stop them from chattering, he once more saw this small boyish man rush into danger for the sake of his own personal code. "Take care captain... If you find others-- Try to send me some support!" He spoke turning to head towards the crowded prison in question.

Unsure of the garrison's condition, he could only hope the walls and gates were at least still in good shape. The thought of the guards having been killed by escaping convicts was one he didn't want to see enacted before his eyes. As long as the gates were still holding, as long as they couldn't scale the walls... Kessler would be able to feel some false hope or maintain some baseless confidence. "At least let it be contained... Wait for me!" he grit his teeth harder with that thought surging through him, pacing himself as he turned down the street to get his first look at the garrison from a few blocks down.

  4. In the time frame the water made contact with the Inn's structure, Hep had already scaled the side of the building, standing safely on the rooftop his eyes scanned the area. Quickly Hep looked around, a couple meters away from his current location was a male who bravery was like no other he risk his own life to save a child and her beast. Hep's cheeks wide with his teeth showing, rushing over to his location by leaping onto the nearest building. Racing why following the boy's body in the water he saw he latched onto a hook object. Hep came to a halt with depression from the sight before his eyes. Swallowing hard! Hep leaped onto a floating crate, stumbling for his dear life. His hands clenching to the edges, turning his head to see a plank in the raging water, he stood up leaping across to the plank. Surfing the brutal waves while stumbling for his balance. Hep was closing in on the boy through the motion the current was traveling. "Take my hand!" Hep shouted at the Azure boy. Making contact with him, Hep would pull him onto the plank but afterward, would've thrown the plank off balance sending the two into the spiral drilling waves of water. The sensation cruel and wet had drawn them under several currents, one after another, finally tossing the two aside on several steps near an old house. Laying there with his arms spread out with feet still consumed in water, coughing several times over. Hep forced his body to turn over on his stomach, hands pressing against the stone road. "Ugh....Kid...kid...kid..wake up..." Hep said coughing between his words as he mustered the strength to move beside him, shaking his body with one hand while the other balance him.

In the far distance was an old house/building standing untouched on the floor, near the left was an alley leading into the main streets. He saw several citizens running from something, or someone. Hep lowered his head against the cold stone pavement, his fist clenching in his hands, while tears built in his eyes he mumbled. "I couldn't save them....what kind of God can't even save his own children..." Those words keep echoing in his eardrums, in till he heard a scream being carried by the wind, Hep moved his head again..eyes wide out of shock. His hand on the boy's fabric had clenched the fabric of his lime-green suit. "My boy...wake up! I need you in this time of depression." Hep said while releasing his fabric only to come to his two feet while stumbling. Heaven's doors open while the arms of Hephaestus combust in sparks, raising his arms towards the heavens above his mouth parted while a sudden elevation came around his vessel.

"Even if you are not special everyone has something that can offer... Then maybe you can be what you want.."

As those words were liberated from his mouth, Hep brought his hands down in a fashion like no other - while tears flowed from cheeks falling onto the fabric material of the azure boys clothing he came to his knees pressing his hands onto his chest. Hep had bestowed something onto this kid the sensation would've overall came to feel warm rushing through his vessel while a tattoo mark appeared on his back of a helm on fire. Afterwards, Hephaestus fall backwards from the loss of strength, his head hitting the stone pavement hard while he laid there with his eyes drifting. Trying to lift his head up a bit he could see the male breathing, falling back down his face held a smile. "Become strong and forge the world to our liking....My son. I'll protect you...." Hep said through a mumble while he passed back out on the pavement 2 feet across from the boy with Azure hair.

From the building several citizens lurked inside, a small girl had witness what Hep had done and told her father. The father raced out the building from hiding and started to poke the slumbering Hep's body, then looking at the boy beside him not daring to touch his vessel. The father then picked Hep up by the arm throwing him over his shoulder, to drag him inside the house. The male made an expression that said he was much heavier than expected. "Oh boy, this lad is heavy."

    Noah

Amidst the cascading flow of water that streamed into the city to seemingly no end and the ever so rising number of panicking civilians among it Noah seemed rather... well annoyed with the whole ordeal but not exactly for the same reasons as those around him. Due to the flooding the bar in which he had been staying, at a incredibly cheap cost mind you, had almost completely flooded due to its rather low elevation in comparison to its surroundings more so because his own room was in the lower level which most likely meant that everything he had within it was engulfed in the rising tides.

While the rest of the city was being engulfed in chaos Noah was sitting on a balcony overlooking the flooding streets holding and twisting his pants out in order to take out much of the water content, as well as whatever floated into them, having just dove into the water at the bar to save some of his belongings that dwelled in his cheap basement room. He was rather unamused with the situation at the moment. "Isn't this the reason why they are not allowed to use their powers down here... ugh. I'm never going to letting them hear the end of this." Eventually though the water level began to start flowing on the balcony where he was, due to the lowed elevation of the bar, and reluctantly began to climb onto the roof of the bar to escape it.As the minutes passed Noah began to make his way across the various rooftops of the buildings that laid in his path towards the dungeon, the most obvious place to go, though as he did amidst the unrelenting cries for help he began to take note of a rather familiar voice.

"...Don't worry about me...I'm a hero, and a hero never dies!"

"Is that... Kagu..." It was somewhat difficult to actually see the guy in the water though the more he looked at the 2 figures in the water the more familiar one of them started to become. Part of him want to yell out of him to stop playing around in the water though he knew that in that moment his jab probably both would not have reached him and maybe it was not the right moment; then again just the not hearing part. Not really a hero if both of you die... technically a martyr then. After he thought about it for a few more seconds the more he realized that it was probably best to save his sorry hide after all he had invested some effort into building him up in the dungeon and losing an investment was not a good practice to have. Though before he could look into performing the act another familiar face jumped onto the chaos towards Kagu "and... Hep..."

Noah merely had to watch as his God pulled the boy and child out of the water on his own and continued as such as the next few events transpired before his eyes eventually accumulating to Kagu becoming on his his Familia and apparently draining Hep himself in the process as he did such to save his waning life. Eventually Noah took himself down from his overlook of the roof and onto the front of house were a older man began to carry Hep into. "Still alive... and what about Mr. Hero." He walked past the father and unconscious Hep towards Kagu keeling down in front of him as he held out of hand over the the boy's cheek and after not so slightly tapping it more than a few times to no response he moved it over the Kagu's mouth feeling for a sign of breathing. A moment later Noah let out of small sigh of relief as he felt the boy's slow but still much apparent exhale. With the confirmation of his life in mind Noah firstly grabbed the child and threw it over his shoulder and grabbed Kagu by the wrist with his other arm "Come on you heavy b******."

After what would seem like a minute or so Noah would enter the same house the Father had brought Hep into with Kagu and the child and once he was far enough inside he let go of Kagu and handed the child off to who was most likely the mother of the family. Afterwords he would head back over towards Kagu, not particularly worried over Hep's condition for various reasons, and knelt back down hear him and began to tap his cheek over and over "Oi, you going to die off over that?" His voice was rather apathetic showing little outward concern over the boy's fate but the sentiment was there... possibly? "Come on..."

  6. What a day it had been, from washing dishes to get getting stiff armed by panicking people to rescuing a little girl and nearly dying. By the time Hep saved Kagutsuchi's life the boy's vision was already failing due to the exertion he presented earlier, just before he let go of the hook, his hand was firmly grasped by Hep who almost died himself in the process. It seemed the two individuals fitted well into the 'uncool club', by the time Hep had gotten Kagutsuchi to safe ground, the boy was already unconscious. In that frame of time, something special was bestowed upon Kagu, not only the Burning Helm's insignia, but a power that lied dormant when the time called for it. Just as Hep passed out, he was saved by a commoner of Orario, and just as he was picked up so was Kagutsuchi, but it was by a familiar face that could bring a sense of security to the situation. Under the time that Kagutsuchi was asleep he dreamed a few things; the first detail was a small, yet warm flame dyed in hues of crimson, and merigold, it mirrored the soul of a passionate fighter. Inside the flame were things he found priceless which were people, dreams, items, philosophies, and quotest; as his subconscious mind's center of focus grew closer to these things, he instantly woke up drenched while being in a sitting position.

He saw Noah across from him, "Come On..." Kagutsuchi heard. "Ah...Noah-san", he said with a weakened voice, the boy's vision was still blurred, but Noah's distinct voice was not hard to miss anywhere. "Where are we, and whats going on?" He whispered in pain, Kagutsuchi rubbed his head with his right eye closed. 'Ugh... I feel so dizzy, and my body is in pain, on top of that the storm is still going on.' Many things were happening to Orario, only the power of a god, or mother nature herself could bring this on the world. Kagutsuchi attempted to stand up with his strength but fell down. "Eeek!" he shouted, he looked over Noah's shoulder and saw an older man around his thirties caring to the god, Hep. As to why Hep was here was left a mystery, Kagutsuchi reverted his blurry site back to Noah, if anything, at least the house was warm, the boy turned his head to the left and held both his hands over his nose and sneezed. "Ugh..." If someone had answers, it was going to be Noah due to his knowledge, and intelligence, but the man that held the answers was most likely going to be the man that took everyone into his house.

  7. The commoner who had rescued the man known as Hephaestus; entering the home from a side door leading into the main floor, pressed the man's body against the hard stone pavement. Turning around to move back for the boy, he saw another boy come through the door carrying him....The commoner didn't remember there being three people washing up on the higher level, shrugging while seeing his little daughter alright - embracing her in a tight squeeze. "I thought you were lost..." he said. Looking over his shoulder, seeing the older boy slap the one on the floor several times, the man made a blank expression with his mouth wide open. Hand reaching out towards him. "I don't think you should be doing that..." the man said in a worried tone.

The man held his daughter while looking down at the floor, briefly turning his attention to the man who was unconscious. A sigh came from his lungs, the father looked at the two boys before him. If the two was to look at him with more attention, they would notice the man had pale shaggy hair with a long beard, his clothing was made from basic fabric found on the market. Cheap, nothing special. The father looked at the man before him once again, then turning back from the two. "You're adventure's right? Please help me...my wife..she left out to the market and never returned...I think she was taken when the Dathe Garrison falls...please..save her..." The man cried with everlasting tears filling his eyes, dripping onto his daughter's face.

Hephaestus body laid on the cold pavement, his chest moving up and down... every second or so. His breathing was heavy, completely drained of energy, he wouldn't wake for some time. Meanwhile...

    Located at the Dathe Garrison...

The walls were completely broken, obliterated by some sort of force. Perhaps from the brewing chaos expelling from Babel Tower. One approaching the tower would notice several guards on the outside. The one on the far right had his back towards what was left of the wall/gates covering his chest a crimson stain could be seen around his hand, the next guard was near the first, holding his sword and shield while peeking into the Garrison. The two guards on the left where holding their helm's and speaking among one another. One of the four gaurds seen a boy coming towards them and moved from his spot behind the wall, rushing towards him with his hands outward.

"Please...Please Help us! We're...eeek..." The pleading the soldier was doing was intruppeted by a spear impaling him through the stomach. The Gaurd eyes drifted down at the spear poking through his body, next his eyes came back up to Kessler cole while blood filled his lungs pouring from his mouth. Soon the soldier could be seen choking on his blood and saliva mixing, soon his head dropped meaning the end of his life. Beyond the walls several hundred men stood behind a man with long raven braids, his face held a wild smirk reaching ear to ear, dressed in citizens clothing stolen from the crowd, on his back was two pair of swords with a second spear in his hand. This was the ring-leader but also the one who had thrown the spear. In the midst of Kessler probably know staring at the man, the man would wink his way and vanish within the crowd of bastards and murders. A whisper sent the prisoners off, each carrying a weapon ranging from; spear, knife, sword, sword and shield and even battle axes. A wave of twenty men ran towards the boy with crimson hair, in the process the gaurds move with hast leaving their belongs and running for the lives....

    Noah

It did not take much longer for Noah's wake up technique to take effect on Kagu who would only in a few moments begin to open up his eyes to let back in the light of the world around him. At the sight of it there was far more sign's of joyous relief on the faces of the family looking down upon him in the house than there was on the face of Noah. Instead rather than that it was more along the lines of questioning disappointment as after their trek into the dungeon Kagu seemingly had a death wish after just having escaped it.

"Where are we, and whats going on?"

"You seriously have a death wish or something?... you jumping in to get yourself killed is what.. ugh... I leave you alone for what a day or two and you almost get yourself killed.... ugh. No point is there..." Noah had already known that Kagu did not exactly have the same kind of sensible mind that he himself had with Kagu's own clearly being more along the lines of selfless sacrifice; but hey at least he would of died almost a hero in that situation. As Kagu began to stand himself upwards Noah did the same though obviously with a much more effective result than Kagu who would just fall back down to the ground with Noah just letting him be in his state for now after all he did it to himself.

"You're adventure's right? Please help me...my wife..she left out to the market and never returned...I think she was taken when the Dathe Garrison fell...please..save her..."

At the sound of the husband of the family speaking Noah's head turned left and tilted slightly to make more directly contact with the man, as the man spoke Noah seemed to just take in the words bit by bit as right now or at least the literal sh*t storm started he was more along the lines in a relaxation mode and if he could he would continue it without further hindrances but as the man finished speaking the only words that stuck into his head to give him something to latch on to was Dathe Garrison. Noah knew all too well what it was and the types of people who were in it and if he did not say that the idea of cutting his way through it was appealing enough to heat up his blood just a little he would by clearly lying. "Hmm... We could but the question is what are you willing to pay up for it?" As the words from Noah's mouth something about it seemed to confuse the man slightly or at least cause him to replay the words in his head for a moment. "You should remember that adventurers don't exactly work for free despite what you may believe. So if you really want to throw up a quest to go into that cesspool hey go right ahead... but... if you are make it official. Quest to Dathe to save your wife from the wicked criminals, and you an just count my partner here saving your daughter as apart of the quest, nothing extra added on.... ...so request or no request?"

As Noah spoke it was quite obvious that the merchant side of him began to shine out in this moment as the daughter was quite already saved without a quest needed to do it but Noah merely said that to make him more inclined to make the request official as he mentally connected the man's relieved and joyous feeling of his daughter being saved to issuing the quest; as in they would get paid for it at the end and not do some pointless charity case. As Noah waited for the man to make his decision Noah glanced back over to Kagu and knew that if he was going to be able to join up in the endeavor the most obvious option would be to find a healer first to bring him back up to 100% physically for him being in that kind of state would be more of a hindrance than asset.

"...Fine... I'm officially requesting a for you adventurers a Quest to save my wife from Dathe."
