YANLUOWANGBARKEEP TO THIS MADNESS The overall flavor the entire situation that had seemed to take an explosive start left Yama with a rather bad taste in his mouth. He could remember seeing Briareus walking off in the wrong direction as he just so happened to make a swift swat to his back resulting in his drink spilling on his shirt. Yama could only feel guilty for doing so and overall felt like a contributing member to the entire mess. It was no good, the Gods had made a mess and dabbled too far into mortal life at this point. Zeus valiantly began to try and undo the errors set in stone by Briareus but would fail in the end. Leaving it up to the adventurers that were within the tower to clean up the God's mess. It was a shame, really. Though, as the horrific events took place Yama wouldn't do much in reaction but watch. Not to say that there was a sense of awe or shock within him, he just saw it as a rather unfitting way to end such a lovely part and it left a rather stale taste in his mouth. That being said, he'd watch and side step here and there as the building began to shatter and Zeus began to act. He didn't wish to embellish on his powers and interfere with the human lives himself, as it was not his duty. Plus, the underworld could always use more members in their ranks. Nonetheless, he did feel some sort of obligation to help Amaterasu, at least. And while he saw that Briareus was come back up, regretful of his mistakes, he didn't wish to give him the obligatory lump to the back of his head just yet. No matter how Amaterasu would react to the impending doom taking place, he'd make sure it was in his will to take her and begin to head out. He'd take her by the wrist if he would allow and hope that her gut instincts would follow him without commands to do so. As he began to make leeway toward the exit he could help but stopping in his tracks as the sight of a rather distressed blue hair girl fleeing into a small area that was caused by the destruction. While it groaned him to go and help he felt obligated to do so, as he could see the spilling of her stomach laying upon the ground. He'd make sure that Amaterasu would provide some sort of insight whether it verbal or not, he required the advice of another God. Though, in the end, he'd make his way over there, releasing the hand of Amaterasu. Whether or not she chose to follow him would be up to her. The commotion would continue to leave him without words as he would kneel toward the girl in the tight space, tapping her to get her attention if she wasn't already looking. He'd extend a hand her way, though his face would be rather expressionless as this all seemed to dread on him. If she were to accept he'd offer his back for her to climb on and he'd make his way toward the only way he knew how to get out: the dungeon. Although, with the dungeon being blocked off, for the most part, and one member of their group already ill from the happenings he was unsure if they'd have the manpower to clear the way. Reaching the entrance he'd turn to the others and point, "That's the only way out. If we go in there, more danger could come of this all, but it is best we clear a way and ensure the surviving members here actually survive. As Gods, we are not supposed to impede on things such as this. However, we have already caused enough pain to this area and we Gods are all at fault for all of this. Thus, we must make some sort of effort to help these people. Though the only way to make this right... morally speaking. Is for this adventurer to accept this task herself and put away her fears for this very moment so that we are not helping humanity but another God's member." His words would carry a heavy and stressing tone to the situation at hand as he looked to the adventurer that had just approached. "We are all counting on your decision. Whether you accept this or not I will do whatever I can to help those that are in danger here as much as I can, as the council can't impede me from doing what I want. Though, I can't speak for these other Gods that join us in this escape. If you so choose, you may flee once we have cleared the path. I implore you to stay, however, the choice is yours." There would be times where his words would be inaudible, though, in the end, the message was clear: can you help and if you can will you? @Briareus @Etsia Dolores @Amaterasu THIS IS BREAKING OFF TO ANOTHER THREAD IF YOU WERE TAGGED IN THIS THREAD DO NOT POST ON THIS THREAD AGAIN. Lost...somewhere on the 6th floor, filled with various cafes and beverage shops, the food was a must for this man. Law had to admit wondering off was not the best of choice, but when the food came to mind. Law couldn't hold back. Sitting near an open bar, a table filled with various entrees leading from smoked meat to fried fish. "OH! YEAH!" Law shouted holding a fork in each hand. The Lady behind the counter looked at the young man with a warm bright smile. "You sure eat a lot.," she said with a chuckle, her eyes were a melon like the color that showed a motherly warmth. Law cheeks formulated with a rosy coloration, looking up and down several times while stuffing his mouth full of meat and rice. "OH Miss... You are the best cook." Law said with rice flakes all over his mouth. Reaching for the next plate of rice balls from the women's hands a rumble came, shaking the entire tower. Cracks in the floor design came underneath's Law seat when he heard someone scream from behind him his left-hand came to his sword while the other took the women hand pulling the women towards him into his arms while he stabbed his sword into the side of the wall. Resting upon his sword watching the floor crumble around them, and dust uplift into the heavens. In her lap was still a plate filled with rice balls and meat slices. Law eyes went from the food to below them, his mind ponders what had caused such destruction. "What on earth? Hey, Miss are you alright..." Law asked the women in his arms after questioning the events. "I'm fine..now, you can find somewhere to put me down would be nice.." She said with a hand laid upon her cheek, she'd hadn't been in the arms of some strong adventure in years. "Sure thing.." Law replied looking around for a safe spot..
"Out of all the places to have a party..." Aaron griped to himself, keeping himself near the edges of the building, as he tried to navigate the room without getting dragged into the crowd mingling all around the first floor. It wasn't that Aaron wasn't fond of big spontaneous social gatherings like this with free food and drink, no, the man absolutely loved just about everything involved with that sentence. Instead, it was more that this was the absolute worst time for Aaron to get involved in a party like this. When he was trying to do his absolute best to keep his status as an Adventurer hidden, dragging his face through several Familias worth of Adventurers was probably one of the worst things he could do short of simply blurting it out to those he was trying to hide it from. "And everyone's all bunched up right by the entrance too..." Aaron continued to mutter to himself, quirking up one corner of his mouth. So much going trying to head into the Dungeon today. He scratched at the back of his head, surveying the party going on for a moment. In all likelihood, Aaron was simply being a little too paranoid with his reluctance to simply move through the crowd, but some of the gods gathered really seemed to be getting pretty friendly with a couple of the Adventurers here, and the last thing he needed was his face and name remembered by an actual god. He debated the idea in his head, whether or not to risk it anyways, or maybe to even relax for a moment and give in to the cheerful mood that pervaded the place and just join in for a while. In the end, however, his paranoia and common sense won out, leaving Aaron to turn and walk away dejectedly, heading up to the second floor of the tower. "Maybe things'll die down soon..." He reasoned quietly to himself. Trying to wait it out didn't seem like a bad idea anyways. Walking up into the second floor, Aaron crossed his arms behind his head with a soft sigh, wondering what to do now in order to kill the time. The Tower of Babel had a great many things he could spend his time on. Whatever other thoughts were floating around in Aaron's mind, they were rather quickly banished by the loud and clear cry of someone from below. “ZEEEUUUUUUUUUS!!!!! WE HAAAAAAVE PROBLEEEEEMSSSS!” Aaron blinked in quiet confusion, turning his head back towards the stairway down as he wondered what exactly was going on, before the shaking started. It started as a slow rumble, making chairs and tables clatter, but it quickly rose in intensity as it sent loose objects tumbling to the floor, and soon enough Aaron was windmilling his arms just trying to stay upright. A resounding boom followed, and Aaron found himself tossed up into the air. Letting out a cry of surprise, the man braced himself for a hard and sudden impact as he fell... And fell... And fell... And, where the hell did the ground go? A sudden shock of pain filled his body and then everything went black. Seconds later, Aaron began to come too, letting out a quiet groan as his eyes fluttered open, blinking away not only stars but also dust and rubble as well. He pushed himself up into a sitting position with a hiss of pain, face twisted into a grimace as he squinted his eyes to peer around him. "This isn't the second floor..." Aaron stated a bit dumbly, still in shock and his breath coming out in a pained labor. He pushed himself to his hands and knees, and then up to his feet, stumbling slightly against the rock and dirt around him. His dumbfounded look quickly turned into one of sheer shock and awe as his face turned upwards and his eyes fell upon the massive creature of ink and shadow, taking no real truly threatening form, and yet in the pit of his stomach he knew that this was something to be feared. "I don't remember you at Zeus' party..."
Dungeon Master Considering that its first instinct was to break free from this confinement, the creature was not thrilled with having its path blocked off. Crawling up the pile of cave-ins, it thrust its sharp claws into the rocks and attempted to remove the obstruction, which only result in Zeus’ heavenly spear zapping it with enough force to knock it all the way down to the bottom of the rock pile, writhing in pain. Once the creature has recovered and gotten back to its feet, it opened up its mouth and roared at the everyone who was within range. Realizing that it was outnumbered, the creature assumed a predatory stance. With swift decisiveness, the Dungeon Shadow swiped its tail, flinging big chunks of rocks to the eastern side of the room in a horizontal spread, anyone directly hit by the flying rocks would have went down in a second; a glancing blow wouldn’t result in more than a deep cut however. Bracing its hind legs, the Shadow immediately leapt toward the defenseless Zeus, knowing that a swift kill of the god would stop the javelin from blocking the path into the open world. The Shadow may not have been entirely intelligent, but it was programmed to escape at any cost. It seems as if the Dungeon is scheming yet again, and the moment an opportunity presented itself, the Dungeon capitalized on it. ▣ Rocks are flung horizontally toward the eastern side of the room, where Law and Aaron are. ▣ Naburo is in the west near Eliah ▣ Zeus is in the middle, where the Shadow is leaping to. @Eliah Tsundora @Naburo Keilz @Aaron Bright @Law
The sheer size of the creature was impressive to Naburo, but the most impressive thing that he had noticed about this Shadow Creature was the fact that despite it being from the Dungeon, it had some intelligence. Cracking a wicked smile as he was approaching the creature he was about to jump toward it only to stop as it flicked the rocks toward the east side. There were a lot of people over there still, even some from his familia. Watching as one of the youngest familia members was crushed by a rock, Naburo's mind went immediately blank. How....dare you....How...how...DARE YOU! He screamed out as he now rushed toward the massive creature. Forego any sort of strategy, he would think of it as he went. His anger was boiling, his heart was screaming for vengeance, and his eyes were darkened with lust for blood; or whatever this creature bled. As he saw the creature jump toward Zeus, Naburo decided to meet the creature where he was. Springing forward as hard as he could, his feet carried him to Zeus in time. But it was almost too late due to the fact that Naburo only had time enough to brace himself for impact from a swipe. When the creatures claw hit his swords he felt himself slammed backward hitting Zeus with an oomph. The impact of him hitting Zeus and then seeing the creature still getting ready to attack again jarred Naburo. Shaking his head he rushed once more toward the creature, but this time, he wasn't going in blind, As he ran at a fast pace he decided to slide on his knees and aim for the creature's right front leg. Maybe this would cripple it in a way. If it did well, he'd have good knowledge of it as a small amount of blood would be coming out. But there wasn't a single sound yet, in which case his next attack would aim for where the creatures upper armpit was, which was literally only 17 feet above him. If he took a running start and then jumped against its leg he could combine that with a second jump and then attack there. That was if Eli didn't bring it down in her attack that he knew was coming. @Eliah Tsundora @Aaron Bright @Law Attacked the Boss' left leg with his duel swords Aiming for the Boss' upper arm on the next attack Underneath the creature so dont slam it Relying on yall to keep it distracted.

The room would seemingly start to clear out as the majority of the Gods would make their exit with the God of the Underworld, Yama. They would assist in the escape of the others that held no true power or need to be here during the catastrophic event. While things seemed to still ache at the young vixen she'd have to bite her tongue and let it all fall behind her and act accordingly to save her deity and fellow members. It was not much longer from the movement and struggle to escape of all the others that the behemoth would make more efforts for an escape. These efforts would fall to be none before he'd attempt at a violent dash to the God, himself. "Lightning-sama!" She'd shout, not letting the nickname escape her, even in a time of tragedy, reaching her hand out. It was a rather helpless thing for her to do, and wouldn't prove to be worth any sort of help in preventing the beast from bringing harm to her God. Though it would make no difference as her ever so valiant brethren would jump in harm's way for their God. A small sigh of relief would escape her lips before she'd tighten up and get ready for what was to come. She began to take off to the other side of the room, as she did so she'd notice the other two that were in the room being assaulted by the flying rocks. She wouldn't keep her sights on it but for a split second, just grabbing a glimpse of her surroundings as she carried on in her strides to flank the creature. Naburo's defense would fall far too easily, as she could have easily anticipated by the size of the beast. His following attacks would result in her wanting to bring in a little flavor of her own. Not wishing to let the hot-headed scarface take all the fun out of it. A smirk would rest on her face as she'd see an opening for her first attack. Watching as Nabu took a running start she'd look behind her to the other two, "We'll save time for formalities. Our best route of action right now is to attack from as many angles as possible. He can't hit all of us!" She'd shout, commanding the two as though she were some high and mighty leader to all of them. They'd likely take it as such, anyway, she was sure of that. Though, communication would reign in excellence in a moment like this. All the same, they would have to rely on one another's instincts and battle tactics as they all fought differently. She'd place her staff before her, gripping it with both hands as an aura would begin to radiate around its surface, sending her loose garb, hair, and tail in a flurry with its powerful essence. "Eici Terra!" She'd shout, thrusting her body forward the moment the rock rose from the ground and to the position of her hands. The thrust would provide the momentum of magical power to project the rock in attempts to hit the beast strong enough on its shoulder that it would push the creature more into Naburo's favor the exact moment his blade would come to meet the being. In result, it would multiply the momentum of Naburo's blow resulting in a more penetrating blow. She could only watch for a moment in hopes that the attack would be as well planned as she saw it to be, and some sort of positive result would derive from it. Otherwise, her attack could only result in throwing Naburo's attack off target or bringing the beast to damage him in some way or sort. It was a risky maneuver on her end, however, the two knew the battle they were fighting could mean the end of one another. They would risk their lives on the protection of their God no matter the cause. Eliah ran to the East side near Law and Aaron She spoke to the two giving slight commands She then cast the spell "Eici Terra"(A medium-sized Earth projectile) with a force great enough to press the Beast more toward Naburo in hopes of adding extra damage to his attack, while creating blunt damage of her own. ♚ BERA ♚ == @Naburo Keilz == == @Law == == @Aaron Bright == == @Zeus == == 687 ==
Aaron simply stared up in sheer awe of the creature before him. Sure, he had come ready to venture into the Dungeon, but he'd never expected to come face to face with something like this. The monster roared, its voice seeming to echo loudly within the shattered room, and causing Aaron to wince, hands coming up to the sides of his head to block out the sound. The creature turned towards Zeus, and with a flick of its tail, launched a wave of rock and debris in his direction. "Oh fuck!" He cried out, eyes wide at the sudden wave of projectiles. He pushed himself off the little pile of shattered stone that had 'cushioned' his fall from the second floor, tripping and stumbling down. His foot caught against something, a loose stone, which sent him toppling forwards. The rock and dirt slammed into his sides and stomach as he rolled down onto the ground, though this luckily meant the projectiles headed right for him instead flew right over and into the wall behind him. Again he pushed himself shakily up to his feet, letting out a pained cough as he fought to fill his lungs with air. He had to get out of here. This was way too far out of his league. Aaron's head darted left and right as he searched briefly for a way out, however he was stopped by a loud cry. Looking back up, he saw one Adventurer charging straight for the creature, imposing himself between it and Zeus. A runarl darted by, stopping near him, shouting commands as she tried to organize a response. Yes... That's right... Aaron was here to be an Adventurer. Pretend or not, this was what he'd always dreamed about. The chance to be a hero, and face off against the world's evils. This was his chance. He could do this. Prevent more people from being hurt. What could he do in the face of such power though? The monster had already thrown aside numerous other Adventurers in its charge. He looks down at himself, glancing from the saber at his side, and then up to his hands held out in front of him. The weapon wouldn't do much... Not against something like that. He had magic, sure, but... The entire reason he was here was because he'd been utterly terrible at it. Hell, he didn't have the ability to actually hurt anything with his magic. Aaron shut his eyes and grit his teeth. He had to do something. Well, if charging in with his sword drawn was probably suicide, he supposed it was better to go with the smarter option to first try to annoy it from range. Taking a deep breath, he shifted his feet shoulder width apart, brushing against a few stray pieces of rubble. He threw his arm forwards, towards the creature. "Overload!" He cried, as a wisp of crackling blue energy launched from the palm of his hand out towards the creature. Dodged rocks by falling into other, less mobile, rocks Rocks hurt Like seriously, ow Cast Ether Overload [Arcane, Single Target, Disrupt, No Chant] in the hopes that it'll do something? With the rain of debris finally settling down, the titan found himself cowering behind an overturned table far off to the side. Eyes just barely peeking over the edge, he’d watch as things had begun to unfold. Though it wouldn’t atone for his transgression against the dungeon, bearing witness to the resulting calamity was the least he could do, right? His eyes watching as several deities split off in order to evacuate the others, his attention quickly reverted back to the sordid figure cut out by his nephew. “Zeus…” He’d whisper softly to himself while hoping for the best. Though things had boiled down to a rather grim situation between the monstrosity and a handful of remaining adventurers, the titan clenched his teeth and continued to watch. His hesitance earlier had already cost Zeus quite dearly. Were the hammer to fall down yet again, how would the titan react? Would paralysis by fear take hold of the unsteady deity once more?
During the time the dust cleared from the 6th floor, only a portion of the floor caved in, Law a bit confused on the situation knew it was time to explore down into the beast to find the source of the action and what caused the shake. Leaving the women upstairs with the rest of life-forms, Law started towards an opening in the wall, dashing down the staircase with his sword in his hand (right), flying down the flight of stairs one after another in till he'd reached the end which was the 2nd floor, a large hole was located where the marble floor used to be, Law out of breath from running all the way down. Liberating a cough, then swallowing hard. "Welp...this is fun.." Law said with a sarcasm tone, leaping into the air only to free fall down below through the 1st floor. While in free fall, his arms hung over his head while his sword laid in his hands, his body midst of falling rocks. Landing on top of one of the falling rocks, Law turned his head left and right, shrugging his shoulders in sync with leaping from one falling rock to another - while leaping from each rock, the last one would've been too far while Law fell instead. Landing hard on his back near Aaron... Groaning loudly, his eye open while he rolled over on his stomach. Pushing himself from the floor, standing in a weird position with his hands hung over - Law then heard the words of women implying the direction to him and some fellow. Law turned his head in the direction, his eyes widen at the sight of the beast... "You're kidding me right...? Where in the crap did that thing come from?" Law asked worried a bit, noticing Naburo was already racing towards adventure. A smirk slipped on his face while he cracked his back, turning around to face all the action that was taking place. Law eyes looked beside him seeing the boy, his expression was worried but instead of crawling under the bed he picked up a rock and launched it at the monster before them. Law closed one eye while crafting a bright smile. The mantra inside his veins became mobile, racing to each and every chakra point located in his body; fulfilling his entity with an immense magical aura. The massive mantra started to formulate around the wrist slowly traveling down onto the hilt of the sword onto the guard in till reaching the end of the blade. Law had already unleashed his sword, without a single word his sword was engulfed in magic. Without any direction, Law took a step to the side that would lead him to dash onto the side of the monster further east. While running, Law waved his sword several times sending magic blades out at the monster. Law didn't have a clear direction of how to attack nor defeat the monster but perhaps he could be moral support with his other skill. "Is that...oh no..." Law then notices the monster was leaping to was no one other than Zeus himself. 'Guess is the day, I part with my sins and beliefs...' Changing direction of pace, his feet slide to come to halt. His body thriving from the immense amount of pressure dropping on his head but everyone's else. Breathing in slowly while his eyes searched for an opponent in unison with extending his hand towards the creature. The creature was in radius..barely. Dungeon Master Unfortunately for Naburo, the floor is full of rubble, as such, the moment he tried sliding across what he thought was a smooth surface, he would fine himself tumbling across. Miraculously, his dexterous attack ended up connecting with the creature’s leg. As black liquid spewed from the wound, the black mass elicited a chilling howl. Although it was a good hit, the creature didn’t seem very bothered by it. Naburo who completely lost his balance could no longer perform another attack and lie there helplessly, knees most likely soaked in blood from the tumbling and skidding on jagged rocks. Seizing the chance, the Shadow raised its claw, bringing it down to Naburo who was right beneath it. Had it not been for Eliah’s spell disorienting the creature at that moment, it would have bashed the Chienthrope’s head in. Eliah’s spell may have been good enough to splatter a goblin in one hit, it didn’t do much but knocked the unworldly creature off its feet, sending it tumbling over. The agile creature regained its footing immediately and let out a massive howl for the third time. Afterward, it glowered at Eliah before sweeping its tail into the ground and hurled another series of rocks toward her direction. Fortunately, Aaron’s lead up spell blinded the Shadow and cut off all of its senses. With a massive roar, the Dungeon Shadow began smashing the floor close to Naburo and swiping its claws in random directions, not knowing anything but Naburo’s general direction. After Aaron fired off his spell, however, a crumbling sound could be heard from behind him. Three black goblins appeared and leaped onto him with their little shiv. While two of them attached themselves to his neck and upper body, the remaining goblin jabbed the shiv into the back of the boy’s leg. The hit connected, though thankfully it wasn’t deep at all; however, it will most likely hinder Aaron's movements for the rest of the encounter. ▣ I'm going to skip the bullet points because my entire post is already a summary. Read carefully please. ▣ There is no dice, so think carefully about your actions. Use logic, it will remind you not to do what Nabu did and take on the repercussion that resulted from it. @Eliah Tsundora @Naburo Keilz @Aaron Bright
The fact that he had forgotten about the rubble and sharp rocks that had fallen was enough to make him wish he was back home...well almost. So when he was still dazed and confused, Nabu's eyes were trying to focus and focus some more. It wasn't helping when the creature actually did manage out two separate howls. Wait...why was the thing howling...looking toward the dungeon he had spotted the goblins running and jumping on the other guy that was helping them fight. When the creature had been slammed to the side causing its paw to hit the ground next to him, Naburo had his chance but...he found he couldn't really get away from the spot. It was for three main reasons, one Naburo was in front of Zeus. Two, Nabu's legs were shaking in fear mixed with excitement. Lastly, third, he knew if he moved the creature would instantly launch an attack of sorts. So, Naburo's best choice was to remain where he was, at least until he saw the creature flailing when it had been hit by both the new guy's attack and a blinding one. It was now flailing around trying to find him, in which case he knew he shouldn't just stand by and let the creature get anywhere close to him. Standing up even though his legs were bleeding, Naburo took in a deep breath and attempted to walk away toward its backside. That way there were be a person at each end of this foul creature. What he hadn't planned on was seeing just how...massive this creature was. It was easily 4x bigger than Zeus. With his balance still off center, he knew he wouldn't be able to launch an attack like this, so he simply took in the surrounding area. Rocks here and there, a boulder to the left of Eliah. Flying rocks, Zeus, Briarieus, new kid. What was he going to do now, how was he going to do, and would he live past this encounter. So many questions were forming in his head now that he was able to think. It was a moment later he thought up a scenario. Looking toward Eli he hoped she would understand his nod. If she sent a rock over to him he'd be able to grab it and hold on, then she could direct it to the creatures head. It would be that moment that he would follow up with a stab into the back of its neck. Hopefully, they might be able to pull this off. Nabu's legs are still bleeding Unbalanced af rn Hoping Eli caught what Nabu wanted to do without saying it Scared and Excited at the same time
SHADOW BEASTEICI TERRA! Eliah took a small moment to herself no more than two seconds to thrust her fist toward her in celebration of her hitting the creature, as it seemed the others had failed. Though in this brief moment of victory she'd come to find that the beast would retaliate to her attacks after bellowing out a monstrous cry. While it was a monster, she was sure that it must have felt troubled in one way or another. She had always wondered about the way that the monsters felt, as they attacked out of no reason but intrusion and continuously lost their battles to these intrusions. Surely the monsters had to have a great deal of grief toward adventurers and pain for their lost comrades. She never really understood what happened to them after they vanished in that red and black matter that they seemed to be made of. It was clear that the beast sought revenge for all of those that had died at the hands of the adventurers and wished to slay the Gods for imprisoning them here in this cylindrical tomb. However, the people of this land seemed to treat it as a sport or a hobby in some ways. It was humane or right in any way, but it was the way of life they were forced to live, unfortunately. The tail of the shadow beast dragged upon the land scraping up the contents and sending them flying toward Eliah, she glanced around in haste to find an answer to her problems. As she looked to her left she'd see a rather large rock, it immediately clicked for her to use this as a defensive mechanism. Planning to use it almost as a shield she reached with her staff once more, "Eici Terra!" She'd shout with haste as the flurry of rocks came her direction. She'd turn her body and bring herself down to one knee giving direction to the rock as she did so before shielding her face with arm and staff. The rock would crash into the others breaking itself down as it did so until it finally was reduced to rubble and the other rocks came to a halt falling just before her. The debris of the rock's collisions rained upon her, the crashing of small fragments pelting at her body. No matter the result in damage, she'd come to find the pelting to be an annoyance. A large amount of dust surrounded the area, though blue remnants of the other adventurer's attack could still be seen glowing through the smokescreen. Regaining her focus to the battle with the small glimpse of hope that was established from her defense she began to understand her magic abilities to be more than just offensive attacks. "Eici Terra!" She'd repeat, picking up one of the larger rocks from the bunch. She spun her body around guiding the large rock with her as she did so, clearing the dirt haze and giving her vision of the battlefield. It was at this moment that she would look to Nabu who gave her a subtle nod, it was as though he could sense that she had come to this realization within her own power. Though before acting on this she'd look over to the other member of their random party and see him being brutally attacked by three goblins. She had a hard decision to make here, save the kid that was being mauled and shived by three goblins at once or help the rather motionless Naburo get back into the fight. She'd suck her feet letting her instincts take control of her actions. With the rock still floating in her control, she hopped on before swinging her staff below her as if she was about to drive a golf ball down range with one arm. When she did so the rock would travel to Naburo and she would lower her stance to maintain her balance upon the speeding boulder that approached Naburo. Just before it reached him, she would leap off to a half turn in the air before extending the staff out to stop the rock in its tracks. "Get on!" She'd signal to Naburo as she fell back to with a few leaps before swinging her staff once more to send him flying toward the beast's neck. She'd maneuver the rock as it needed to dodge any flailing attacks from the monster's blindness before letting Naburo approach its neck. Whether his attack would come to be a success or not was no concern of hers at this very moment as she wished to help the other lad that was in danger. She'd sprint off in all fours, zigging and zagging in anticipation of any attacks there were to be sent to her. She'd come to a brief slide before halting. "Oi! Keep them together!" She'd shout out to Aaron, though she'd not know his name yet, she'd likely had left him in confusion though it was clearly obvious that she wished to use a chant to help him. "Eici Terra!" She'd say in a more calmed manner, this time, casting the spell several times swiftly, she'd create a barricade to her flank. This would give her the protection that was required for her to begin casting her long chant. "Rumble, tumble, shift and crumble. Seek retribution for those that have soiled your soil, cast the heavy burdens of man's creation and reach from the depths to achieve your new salvation. Rigid edge's return blood for your soil, and make them pay or so make living something of toil." It would take her some amount of time to do this, and it would leave her vulnerable. However, she had high hopes for the barricade that she had placed. The Earth below the goblins rumbled and quaked as she made the chant before it would finally come to a large scale attack of the marble floor being turned into gargantuan stalagmites with the attempt to pierce through the bodies of the goblins and clear the path for the injured Aaron. However, it would be up to him to keep them in that position and to stay out of it himself. Whether she hit them or not, she'd have a good use for these stalagmites later in the fight, though her breathing would start to weigh her down. She could feel that her power was being drained from doing so much. Eliah used a rock to block the barrage of rocks sent her way She then used her power to clear the smoke from the rock's collision and send it to Naburo, traveling with it as she did so Dismounting the rock she'd let Naburo climb on before sending the rock to the Shadow Beast's neck for Naburo to attack Immediately after the attack she would zig and zag her way to a nearby position to Aaron and create a barricade of broken rock and marble to protect her from any upcoming attacks while she chanted the next spell at the goblins to aide the wounded Aaron. Terra Talionis: [Earth, area-effect, offensive, long-chant] The Earth shifts and churns as the spell is chanted, given a notification of the general area that will be affected. Once the spell's chant has been recited a number of stalagmites protrude from the Earth in multiple directions damage those within the affected area. ♚ BERA ♚ == @Naburo Keilz == == @Aaron Bright == == @Zeus == == 1067 ==
Aaron lost focus of the rest of the fight for a good moment as he stared down at his hands. It'd worked... The spell had worked, against a monster like that. Holy shit! He let out a loud and excited laugh. Of course, the man didn't have much time to really celebrate, as a rumbling from behind him caused him to turn his head. He let out a surprised cry as he came face to face with three black goblins, all armed with shivs. Almost as one, they leaped towards him, clinging onto every part of his body; neck, chest and legs. Aaron's cry of panic quickly turned into one of pain as a knife found its way into his leg, dropping him to one knee as it gives out suddenly in shock, and the ground shaking really didn't help matters. He panicked. Arms flailing, he attempted to strike at the goblins attached to him, one arm punching past his head, the other attempting to pry the goblin off his chest before it could dig its weapon into his torso. His leg lashed out to try and kick at the one who had successfully stabbed him as he pulled himself away on his hands and knees, spasming wildly in his frenzied attempt to get away. Panic! Oh god! Goblin lynch mob! Aaron flails wildly trying to get the goblins off Falls to the ground and tries to pull himself away
Dungeon Master The Dungeon Shadow struggled as it was robbed of all senses, thus forcing it to swipe its claws wildly in front of it, completely missing Naburo. This granted Naburo a safe opportunity to sneak toward its rear, all he had to do was avoid the tail which was smashing the floor wildly along with its slashes. From this position, Naburo was free to signal Eliah as he pleased. While Eliah was able to shield herself from the big rocks that the Dungeon Shadow sent her way, the force at which the two boulders impacted made them burst into a thousand fragments of various sizes and scattered them in all direction. A handful would hit Eliah, introducing cuts to her previously scruffy skin. A piece that would have fit in someone’s palm, however, struck her upper arm. Although she can continue using that arm, it would take a lot of effort to bite down the pain; one can only hope the foxy adventurer isn’t a sissy. Although Eliah saved herself from being struck by the group of rocks, the ones she didn’t stop embedded themselves into the tower’s inner wall instead, further damaging it. A frightening rumble could be heard as the force of these rocks traveled up to the shattered ceiling, triggering something the brave adventurers had yet to notice. Although the rumbling persisted, it was at a subtle volume. When Eliah sent another rock toward Naburo’s direction, he could only stood there and stared blindly as the huge rock zipped by and smashed against the Shadow’s broad back. Reacting to the impact, the creature reoriented itself and opened its blood-red eyes. The creature then opened its mouth widely and roared ferociously, its saliva splattering Naburo who was standing in its path. From his perspective, however, he would notice its bizarre tongue, which had a faith glow like the patterns all over its body. The creature then quickly raised one of its arms and sent it down toward Naburo with frightening force. After its strike smashed the already broken floor, it swiped sideway using its free arm, intending on smacking him against the wall. While all of this was happening, Eliah cast yet another spell to protect herself while she called on the stalagmites to help Aaron. As she began focusing all of her attention on her spell, Eliah completely overlooked the goblins slowly dragging Aaron away due to the fact that one of the goblins was on his head and tugging at his hair, attempting to stab him in the face. Fortunately, it instead took a nab of the poor guy’s hair. As the struggle persisted, Aaron was led further away from Eliah, which resulted in the rocky spikes from Eliah’s spell to come up from the ground and completely missed both Aaron and the goblins who were attempting to take him down. At last, Aaron managed to fist a goblin in the face made it drop to the ground in pain! The moment Eliah finished casting her spell, a goblin crawled out from beneath the rubble she was standing on and sank its jagged teeth into her foreleg, holding her in place while the goblin Aaron dropped quickly got up on its feet and ran toward her with its shiv, growling like a mad dog. ▣ Naburo didn't attempt anything, he simply fantasized about a crazy idea of flying together with the boulder ▣ Eliah attempted to do too much over a short span of time, which led to Aaron losing a nab of hair ▣ Aaron is currently being led northward. Considering the Zeus is facing the south, Aaron is currently off on Zeus’ left-hand side. @Eliah Tsundora @Naburo Keilz @Aaron Bright
Back pressed against the overturned table, the titan continued to cower behind cover in a seated position with his arms wrapped about his knees. It was then that ceiling rumbled ever so faintly. A soft whimper sounded from his lips as his eyes clenched with fear. Arms wrapping about his legs more tightly, soft whispers could be heard coming from the titan. “Oh god… we’re all going to die… we’re going to die.” It was then that something subtle had stirred within the deity. Then fucking DO something about it! An impatient and irritated voice materialized within Briareus’ mind, spurring conversation that appeared to be nothing more than mindless dribble from an outsider’s point of view. “No, no. We shouldn’t… Intervening is bad.” You know what’s worse?!Dying!!! “It is… but Zeus said ---“ WHO GIVES A RAT’S ASS ABOUT ZEUS?!? LOOK WHERE IT GOT HIM?!? Yet another voice chimed in, this time speaking in a higher pitch, one closer to a strained shrill. “Sorry… sorry… b-but… “ Just do it. Or you’ll damn us all! A third voice had spoken, this time with a deeply rich, firm and commanding authority as the other voices grew silent. do it. Do it. do it! Do it. Do it! Do it. Do it. DO IT. Do it. DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT,YOU WORTHLESS MISCREANT! A trickle of voices had slowly begun to surface within the titan’s mind. Slowly growing in numbers, an overwhelming cacophony roared forth, bombarding his senses. The distinct urgings continued and began to grow violent, pressuring the youth upon spotting weakness. “NOOOOOOOO! SHUT-UP! ALL OF YOU! GO AWAAAAYYY!” Completely oblivious to the rest of the world, Briareus’ voice cried out defiantly, wavering with a hint of desperation he continued to shudder in place from the fetal position. Note: Well, that just happened...
While he was simply standing there thanks to the rock flying past him, Naburo's whole being was telling him to run. But, he couldn't find it in himself to do that; especially since they Were attempting to save Zeus himself. So, when the creature had screamed out and Then roared at Naburo, his eyes had spotted the Faith glows. It was an interesting glow, and it had others all over its body. But, Naburo didn't have time to admire the creature in all of its glory. In fact, when it had roared and turned its attention to the male, Naburo could only raise two swords in time in order to defend himself. By defending I mean he attempted to stick one of his two swords into the creature's hand that was coming down to SPLAT him. He had to use both swords to press up not to get squished, it worked but he was a bit too late in noticing the other hand coming for him to swat him away. He felt the blow, felt the wind knocked out of him, but most of all he felt the solid wall on his back as if he had flown a good distance. Opening and then closing his eyes he shook himself to steady his erratic heartbeat. He could feel himself losing control again. This time though when he looked up his eyes had spotted that male that had been trying to help them being dragged away by his hair. By 3 black goblins. Oh, this was not cool, how dare they interrupt a boss fight. Prepping one of his swords he dashed as fast as he could toward the one holding the male's hair. As he neared the goblin he swiftly attempted to perform Slice N' Dice, followed by an attempt to grab the creature's neck and slam it over his back with sheer strength. Maybe this would work so that the male adventurer could get up, Whatever the case, Naburo's attention was on the three goblins fully. These creatures had messed with the wrong party. He was the "son" of Zeus, and Eliah the female behind him fighting the massive black creature was the "daughter" of Zeus. Letting out a loud yell, Naburo then attempted to cut a different Goblin, this time, his cut was more into a stab toward the creature's throat. How dare they do all of this, how dare they act without the word. Bri...Bri is to blame for all of this. Naburo's mind was saying, Bri...Bri...Bri....Bri....PATHETIC! THESES CREATURES ARE PATHETIC! KILL THEM. Voices seemed to echo inside of naburo's head. Moving once more Naburo looked at the boy and spoke. "Blind the big one! Now!" His voice was not soft or nice, this was a command, If they could blind all the creatures and the massive monster then they could kill the goblins then worry about the damn Monster together. Thinking back, he should have told Eliah to make it slow enough that he could have grabbed the rock, instead, now the creature was alerted to the fact that she could fly on top of rocks, but...they could use that against it. That was...if the creature was intelligent. This also causes Naburo to think as he prepared for the 3 goblins to attack him or the other male. It was a few moments late he had heard Briareus yelling out to shut up and go away. The hell was this guy saying? The only reason Zeus and the others around here were alive was because of Naburo and his friend that were taking on this giant monster and its allies. How dare Briareus tell them to go away, did he not understand what would happen if they did?
Aaron struggled and screamed, doing his best to fight off three goblins simultaneously, especially as one attempted to stab at his face and the others dragged him off. A flailing pile of limbs overcome with panic, Aaron gave a muted grunt of victory as he felt his fist impact the face of one goblin, sending it tumbling off. Now to fight off the other two. Luckily for him, one of the other Adventurers who'd stuck around stopped by to help. Well, less stopped, and more rocketed by before being stopped dead by the hard stone wall behind him. But that was besides the point, what mattered was that he came and quickly moved to help pry the goblins off of him. Aaron took advantage of the man's help, aiming a solid kick at one before quickly scrambling up to his feet and drawing his saber. He lashed out with his weapon in a wide arc, towards the goblins as he tried to keep them away, before the man shouted something at him. He looked at him blankly for a second before it seemed to trigger in his head. "R-right! I can do that!" He spun around to face the giant monster still flailing about, the pain in his leg forgotten for the moment as adrenaline flooded his system. He thrust out his hand again, casting the spell. "Overload!" Attempt to fight off goblins and stand up with Naburo's help Cast Ether Overload again on the boss
SHADOW BEASTEICI TERRA! The time she had placed into casting her spell would come to result to nothing in the end, well nothing to her first intentions. The good thing that came to this was that she had successfully cast the spell and there would be some amount of obstruction in that area. She wasn't too entirely sure as to what she would do with it all, but that wouldn't matter for now. As the moment she finished casting her spell her skin was impaled by the teeth of a goblin that was seemed to creep up from the rubble she stood upon. Yelping in pain, she'd be drawn from her previous injuries to her shoulder and the cuts that glazed her body with small amounts of blood and to her leg. Glancing down she'd find the source of her pain. Clenching her teeth, a small crunching resonating from the amount of pressure she put into such her brow would furrow as her eyes pelted toward the goblin beneath her. She was held in her current position as the Goblin's mouth kept her immobile. She'd attempt to break free from its clutches raising her hand and staff, "Eici Terra!" She'd shout, lifting the rubble and herself with the goblin attached. She'd bring the rock she stood upon up a few feet in hopes that the goblin's body would fall curve with the rock's edge. If this was so she'd bring the rock to the ground crushing the goblin beneath it. If the goblin released its bite on the girl she'd begin to make a slow advance to the others, though she'd keep her distance. It wouldn't take her an extreme amount of time to get there, she was just not able to run as she once was. If not, she'd just use the ability once more and grab a rock from the shield she had created earlier and try to smash it into the earth with its jagged edge and proceed on. She could see the two fighting off the goblins and noticed the valiant effort to blind the beast once more. She could only see this to be an opportunity to bring an attack forward to the creature. If she was unable to do this, it was sure that the battle would be lost by the three. They had to turn the tides of this fight one way or another and the only way that she could see to be fit in this current situation was to use her previous spell's effect to their favor. She was a good distance away from the two, enough for two of the shadow beast to fit between them. She didn't wish to group up with all of them and get them all hit by the same attack in repercussion to her own attack. Looking over to the stalagmites that jetted from the ground before, she'd cast another spell. "Eici Terra!" She'd shout, her garb and loose hair fluttering with her power's essence as the large stalagmite was ripped from the floor. She'd take the rock and bring it in closer to her before spinning in place, dragging the tip along the ground in at an angle to give it a more sharp and penetrating surface. Throwing her arms out to the creature she'd launch the stalagmite, aiming to impale the chest of the beast. After she'd make the maneuvers she'd wince in pain, grasping her shoulder. She wasn't sure how much more she'd be able to do at this rate. Her body rose and fell with each heavy breath she took, she's was wearing at her mind and her body and it was becoming clearer to herself and anyone that looked at her. This was, what Eliah could see, their only hope to turn the tide of the battle and if the blinding glare didn't disorientate the beast she wasn't sure if the attack would hit or just be knocked away. She had to try, though, if she didn't she would be failing her allies and her God. This was something that she wished not to happen... Eliah lifted the rubble with the skill Eici Terra attempting to smush the goblin beneath it. If she'd fail, she'd grab another rock and try to impale it using that. She'd carry on to a new position where she would send a stalagmite to the beast's chest in hopes it would hit. She'd come to realize that she was growing wary with the mass amount of spells she had cast and the amount of damage she had already taken. Unsure if she'd be able to fight on. ♚ BERA ♚ == @Naburo Keilz == == @Aaron Bright == == @Zeus == == 682 ==
Dungeon Master The Shadow roared in pain as Naburo’s sword impaled its hand the moment it slammed its hand down at the adventurer. Immediately retracting its injured hand, the Shadow followed up its smash with a swipe, unfortunately only getting Naburo with the flat of its palm instead of his deadly claw. The force sent Naburo flying diagonally toward one of the crashed columns near Zeus. The impact should have knock all senses out of him. It would be awhile before Naburo could get up. Distracted by the stab wound that went through its hand, the Shadow roared, summoning yet another goblin from within the rubbles the adventurers were standing on. Afterwards, it seemed that Naburo was able to pick himself up and headed toward Aaron who was struggling with the goblins. Before the goblins that was trying to stab Aaron’s face had the chance to Naburo’s charging right for it, its arm had already been cleaved right off. The follow up attack also succeeded as he was able to push the blade through the throat of the one on Aaron’s head. Afterwards, this goblin exploded into a black smith, leaving a soul stone to fall into the ground. With Naburo’s help, the younger adventurer was able to regain his footing and kicked the last goblin further away. Aaron would attempt his disabling spell on the Shadow once more, however, the Shadow had already hurled a massive boulder toward the two. The choice was either to finish casting and be crushed by the rock, or to jump away. In the meanwhile, Eliah struggled to kill the goblin that was persistently hanging onto her side with its teeth. In using her spell to get rid of the goblin, the pain made it difficult to focus on what she planned to do. The surer plan was to impale the goblin with a smaller rock. It worked, the goblin quickly detached its mouth from Eliah as it completely disintegrated, leaving behind nothing but a small soul stone behind. Finally, Eliah cast the spell to send the stalagmite toward the creature that was recovering from its boulder toss. From the way she struggled to keep herself up, it seemed that Eliah is nearly depleted, half a spell more and she’ll enter a mind-down state. Fortunately for Eliah, her stalagmite impaled the Shadow so far in the chest, it could be seen sticking out on the other side. The Shadow roared in pain, however, it did not disappear. It seemed that the attack barely scratched the soul stone embedded inside the monster. With a sluggish motion, it began to slowly crawl toward Eliah, intending on finishing her. The goblin that the creature had summoned a while back immediately sprung up from beneath Aaron attempted to drive a knife into his lower back. ▣ Naburo can no longer run due to the overexertion of his legs ▣ One more spell and Eliah will enter mind-down @Eliah Tsundora @Naburo Keilz @Aaron Bright @Briareus
It was rather sudden the way he found himself requested to partake in a raid within the dungeon that day. The Greek God of Thunder, Zeus had allowed his Familia to enter the dungeon in hopes of conquering its floors and return with troves of treasure to further their own causes and fame. Celsius had initially wanted to go of his own volition, but knew that as a newbie, he would only get in the way of the veterans as he was now. At least, that was the initial thought he had before receiving a rather urgent notice that there were three spots open for people to participate. The veterans were apparently having a rough go of it, thus, the sudden need for last-minute additions to the raid party. And was Celsius going to accept? You better believe he was! The young Chienthrope had been given all of the details on the fly as he made his way towards the Tower, his mind buzzing as he considered the situation as well as possible ways that he could be of use to the raid party. But the more he mulled it over in his head, the more his mind simply settled on following instinct. There was no point in fretting over the what, the how, or the why. He simply needed to get it done. Blue eyes were soon met with the battle scene coming before him, swiftly scanning over the area and taking things into account as quickly as he could. He took note of a man struggling with a goblin, the creature getting ready to attack him from behind with a knife in hand. Another adventurer was down and attempting to crawl their way to a safe distance. The last was a woman whom the shadow creature was crawling towards, possibly to kill her off if she didn't move in time. Something in his mind clicked as though saying, "That's the high-priority situation." BGM: Quickly and Without Fail Without a second more of hesitation he began running as fast as his legs could carry him, weaving in and out of the raging combat as best as he could as he drew out his sword in one hand, the other glowing with a soft blue light as moisture began to accumulate within his palm. "Shrouding Mist!" he called out, the water in his palms soon turning into a thick vapor, veiling himself and those he passed as he reached his intended destination. He gave the woman a brief look as he began skidding to a halt between her and the beast, shouting with urgency as he pivoted on one foot and swung his sword towards its face. "Fall back!
