    Skill:
    • Fate’s Favored Child: [Passive/Utility]
Everyone knows luck’s a bitch, but apparently she’s also a pacifist. When it comes to Jack, all common sense goes out the window. Despite the number crunching and what statistics might point to, the man seems to have an uncanny knack for stacking the odds in his favor, at least until it comes to violence. He’s unable to cause direct physical harm others. The man couldn’t even hurt a fly if he wanted to, quite literally. Give him a tied up, drunken bum and ten free shots? You can bet he’ll whiff ten out of ten every time. Luck really is a bitch.
    Magic:
    • Trace: [Dark/Self-target/Utility/Short Chant]
As the spell name suggests, it subtly aids in erasing traces left by the man. While active, footprints, blood stains and other physical indicators are a thing of the past, as are noises made from movement, scents left behind and magical signatures left by spells. In exchange for concealing these aspects, Jack is completely unable to use other spells while in this state. By speaking a second chant (or allowing the one hour time limit to expire), the freelancer is able to release this spell’s effect, inducing in a mind down state immediately thereafter. Trace cannot be used below 50% mind level.

Chant 1: “Now you see me… now you don’t.”
Chant 2: “Oh, look at that! Where’d he come from?"
