  1. Southern Brisshal Border

[This thread will be treated like a semi dungeon experience. So please post health bars and don't worry about trackers! Let's have fun!]

Far in southern reaches of Brisshal was what one assumed was a vacated old ruin. Brisshal being the beginner tier region it was, had little interesting things to keep people around after their first few adventures. Dungeons were just littered with wolves, slimes, and killer bunnies that were not of the infamous rainbow variety. This ruin was so far removed that it basically was almost in a region of it's own. A bunch of tall pillars and old deformed stones surrounded a set of stairs into who knows what. If there was a building once over the steps... it surely was no longer standing. Because few ventured this way as of yet. The dungeon was extremely unexplored and this was what brought Merkaba to it. Her personal mission to stay ahead of the horde and aim for her place as the undisputed word of the darkness. Normal traveling around was becoming old hat. The Dark Descender needed to branch out some. Maybe even find a region greater than Norfova for her future work. This was also to benefit her cult's performance. The group had a lot of learning to do and she would not tolerate a bunch of weaklings following her around. Darkness only desired the strong.

So she had sent word of her trip here to her followers to see if any arrived. Some were on the verge of exiled due to their lack of use to her. Arriving at the entrance that was a set of stairs surrounded by rock. The witch waited a few moments. Surely it would not take long for them to arrive? Regardless, Merkaba had soloed before without much fuss... this would not be too different. She could only hope that it held something worthwhile for her. Most of these places were just not suited to reward a proper Dark Lady. As she waited a small trinket caught her eye. It was a small strand of beads wrapped around a charm of some kind on a nearby pillar. She recognized it as some form of kanji... but she never cared to learn the language too well. It was likely some form of protection or wish for safe travels thing.... Urgh... hopefully whoever left this was already dead somewhere.

  7. Honeysuckle and sweet red wine. What could be better? Laying about some moss covered stones amidst tall and powerful trees, the Admiral reached out with a hand and plucked a flower from the vines which crawled across everything. Their gentle summer yellows were vibrant against the verdant greens; the smell of nectar upon them, the sweetness of their taste as she plucked one and sampled it with a delighted sigh. It reminded her of childhood and simpler days, and was a refreshing break from the chaos and despair of everything that had happened lately. It seemed that despite her best intentions, people would rather a friend than a brother in arms these days. If she wasn't nice and didn't pat you on the back at every turn, if she expected better of you, then it was her own personal shortcoming. She had had her fill of cretins and half wits, and so had journeyed alone into the wilds to fight some beasts, sing some songs, write some poetry, and possibly enter a dungeon ruin to quest for further wealth and hone her skills.

She had made the switch from Berserker to Two Handed Bludgeon recently and was loving the change. There was just something satisfyingly cathartic about running up to a goblin and CRUNCHING it under the weight of a large crude club, which was all she had at this point. She couldn't afford anything nicer; not yet. And even if she could afford such things, Fine Constructs which was her go to store did not really carry the sort of weapons she favored. It was disheartening, really. The game was so full of what she had come to simply call "weeb shit" that everyone ran around with katanas and ten thousand fold glorious Nippon steel. Apparently, none of them realized that a large hammer was just as useful. More so, in certain circumstances, even. So she had left a few goblin caves filled with splattered remains in order to hone the skill, and then washed in the river to remove the stain of their blood from herself. Afterwards it had been a simple trek to a copse where it was rumored some ruins might lay, to provide her with additional distraction.

Ruins were quite interesting, weren't they? Littered about, numerous and silent amidst the turning woods and babbling streams. Buried under sands, or situated high within towers old and new alike. There was no telling precisely what this game would hold, or what surprises were in store next. Speaking of surprises... the Admiral raised a brow at the appearance of Merkaba in the area, apparently seeking the same thing as herself. Having not yet found the entrance, for she had elected instead to play with flowers and relax for a time, the Admiral quietly got down from her perch and followed behind the self proclaimed Dark Lady. Merkaba moved more expertly than she'd have imagined, to a stone entrance set with stairs leading into darkness. Had the woman known this was here all along? Probably... she and her disturbed guild of fanatics had to be hiding out somewhere, and a low level dungeon in Brisshal, well hidden like this, was precisely the sort of thing that seemed up their alley. After all, what would the alternative be, the Admiral mused? Making a fortress of evil among barren rock and twisted landscape, like a Bond villain? Or Skeletor?

She chuckled at that thought, then covered her mouth and looked apologetically at Merkaba from where she stood, armored, but unarmed. Her weapons were for the interim unequipped, so as not to appear... threatening. Though she doubted the witch found her at all of concern. Hell. She wouldn't, in Merkaba's place.

"Hehehe.. Oops." Removing her hand from her mouth, she shrugged in a 'couldn't be helped' fashion and approached slowly, trying to get a better view of the ruins.
"Hiding anything good down there? I'm not really one for magic, but if there's any enchanted flails or maces made of bone, I'd be down for joining. So long as it fits my whole sea-farer theme, of course. Ahoy thar, and all that."

  12. He had received word of the witch's discovery of a ruins in Brisshal by one of its members but he didn't think much of it, sure they needed more bases of operations, especially in other ruins but he figured the witch wouldn't his skills for something so trivial? The Witch thought otherwise, sending him a personal message to request his presence at the newly discovered ruins, well it was more of an order than anything. What the hell did she need him for? He had his own assignments to do for the guild to do and he was sure she was more than capable enough to kill a few low-level beasts? No matter the reasons, he had no real reason to turn away and deny the request by the witch for he was The Dark Descender's Black Hand of Judgement, a warrior with an ebony soul tasked with the elimination of all those in their path, he was the sword and shield of the Cult and would continue unhindered. Closing the message, Seto sighed for a moment before he broke his camp in preparation to traveling to Brisshal.

Donning his fully inclosed samurai like helmet, he strapped his Saya on his back and picked up his Odachi from its resting place prior, he slid it slowly back into its resting place within the Saya before heading out for his next quest, he hoped this one be at least interesting. Luckily for him, it would only take a day of travel on the roads to reach southern Brisshal since he was already in the area from doing another assignment that needed to be done, perhaps that was the reason why she was summoning him to this place? Traveling on the roads throughout Brisshal probed to be boring, pushing him almost to the edge of making him go insane with boredom, there was absolutely nothing in Brisshal, there were countless of players that he thought of killing for some sort of challenge and entertainment but they were weak and most were defenseless, even someone like him clung on to some sort of honour, the concept of killing someone who couldn't fight back didn't sit well with him, he may be a killer, a psychopath perhaps but he would never kill defenseless person without reason or purpose. Eventually, the thought of Satoya calmed him greatly as he walked down the roads to his destination.
Along the way, he watched on as many players charged into the beginner tier dungeons within the lands, some came out victorious while others had the worse death imaginable, Seto be lying if he didn't find some entertainment out of it.

twelve hours it took for Seto to arrive at the ruins he was requested to, it was so far out of their way and countless miles from the main roads, it became obvious why this place was untouched by man for so long and why the witch could be interested in such a place possibly. There wasn't much to its exterior as most of it had to been swept away by the fabric's of time, only a dozen or so pillars and some sort of stone archway survived. If this location could be secured, it could make a great base of operations in the region for them to operate out of, now it was time for the fun to begin. Noticing the witch earlier when he first made an observation of the place, he walked a dozen feet until he was next to the Dark Descender herself.

"I can see why you summoned The Dark Descender's Black Hand of Judgement to this place....It has....Potential to be something great......I feel the darkness pulling on me here, it must be strong here to exert such a force, surely you can feel it as well witch. I believe it is time to enter this dungeon and purge its secrets."

    "Hehehe...."

The Dark Lady turned her head sharply but halted any overly hostile reaction to the newcomer. It was that armored woman... the one who only went by what Merkaba assumed was her chosen title. The Admiral. There were several idiots who traveled into this dimension and decided the best way to represent themselves was by having new ridiculous names like Alphabet or Mountain. This was a bit less of a headache to have to hear be said repeatedly. Although "The" was in need of trimming. Why was she here though? Oh yes... so Merkaba was not the only one who had learned of this outskirt dungeon most likely. Well, as long as she did not cause a problem. Meat shields were always useful for something.

"You. We do not cross paths often... this place has drawn some attention has it?"

It was as she said this that Seto would show up. Well... he certainly traveled far to get his sword wet didn't he? This was going to be interesting. She now had someone to take care of her less compatible companion here if need be. The Admiral would prove a good challenge for him if what she had seen in the Yladian conflict was any indication. The witch gave a approving nod to the dark swordsman. That was probably the best one could expect to get from her actually. She generated her scythe and let it rest at her side as gestured to the steps leading below.

"So... Admiral. Care to travel with some unsavory types for a time? You may learn some things. Yulan must grow tiresome does it not?"

The witch tthen made another slighter gesture as she moved onward no longer waiting for responses.

"You both are free to do as you will here, just don't fall in way when you trip. Simple enough I hope."

The Descender descended down the stairs into what looked like a very generic area. Sigh, this had hopefully housed something interesting. A tunnel stretched onward and a door that was open already lied ahead. After passing through it the trio would find themselves in a wide open rectangular room. There were basic wooden doors along both sides of the room. Six total, three on each side, and at the end of the large room what once was door seven... it was now a large pile of rubble What looked like the entire ceiling had caved in where the door once led.

"There was once seven but now there are six for us... a good sign. The number could be a sign of good fortune for us. The dark is always guiding."

Merkaba would make a attempt to go into the second door on the north side of the room. However as her hand reached for the handle the door vanished and a stone wall greeted her! So some sort of trick was at play here? Surely all of these doors were not like this? She moved to the third door to experiment. It too vanished before she could open it. Shifting her eyes back to the where the second door was to see it had returned.

    "Cute magic isn't it?"

It would seem the group would have to find a way to get through a door....

  22. The Admiral gave a slight bow at Merkaba's recognition, but kept it polite and respectable rather than foolish and irritating. It was an acknowledgement that they had indeed crossed paths, and that the witch had her... if one couldn't call it respect, then at least her patience and polite disinterest. She wasn't Merkaba's enemy, at the very least. Her face soured considerably as Seto appeared, however, as if a rotten smell had filled the air and she could scarcely tolerate his presence. Curling her upper lip at his colorful entrance speech, she held her tongue and instead followed the witch and her pet down into the ruins so that they might all adventure together. It appeared that, despite typically caring nothing for outsiders from what she'd heard, the witch had a mild curiosity for the Admiral. She wouldn't mistake it for affection or even interest; just a fleeting notice, as if skimming the back of a book before putting it back upon its shelf.

"So... Admiral. Care to travel with some unsavory types for a time? You may learn some things. Yulan must grow tiresome does it not?" the witch asked, earning a wry grin from the armored woman who followed several paces behind. It seemed almost as though she were hoping to recruit, but if it was muscle that she needed, then she hardly had to look further than Seto. Supposedly he was a big deal, or at least according to his flowery entrance moments before when he started declaring himself a Black Hand and drawn by dark forces. Normally she was very much well to do with roleplayers; she herself being a rather intense one in the game. But it was a little over the top for her tastes, and that criticism came from somebody who had in a previous avatar been a rapacious attention whore of a man who sang songs at the worst of times and generally left a trail of headaches in his wake.

"I have no qualms with joining the two of you, though I can't say I care much for 'unsavory' types myself. I suppose it depends on the meaning of the word, and the intent of the person to whom it is attributed however. For instance, I've seen that your magic can be used to help, in certain ways. Everything has its usefulness, if you care to look deeply enough for it. The only things I tend to consider unsavory are those who lust after pointless conflict, with no clear motives. Who are slaves to their own ignorance, and can't follow orders or adhere to reason. And weebs, I suppose."

She entered the room behind Merkaba and watched as the doors vanished when the witch drew near to them, any time she drew near to them. They didn't seem to move- just... disappear entirely before the witch could even touch them. But she hadn't actually gone TO touch them, and there was illusion magic within this game. Sighing quietly to herself, the Admiral drew her weapons and placed her wooden club upon the wall (point 1) and began to walk to where the door ought to be, club dragging against the stonework. When she got to where the door SHOULD be and vanished, she hit the wall with the club to see if it would pass through... or make the sound of hitting wood, rather than a stone wall. She dragged the club down to see if it would hit an invisible handle. Regardless of what she found, she continued to drag her club along the wall between doors, testing each supposed doorway in the same fashion:

Hit it lightly, drag her weapon across it listening for any hollow sounds, and see if an invisible handle was struck by the club before moving to the next door, following a pattern (1-6). When at last she had tested each door, a process that took no more than forty seconds, she approached the pile of rubble at the far side of the room and tried to hit it with her weapons as she walked forwards, like a blind person feeling for furniture with a cane. Perhaps it was an illusion, and they merely needed to walk through it... (7)

  27. Who was that woman who chose to come with us? he pondered this greatly to himself as they descended into the ruins. Why would a player like that enter a place like this with him and the witch? Did they have a death wish to come with them? few who walk their path survive, even fewer that walk beside it. It didn't matter much to him, at least this woman would have some worth to her or else the witch would have killed her herself. She wasn't like him but she had no tolerance for the weak which was a flaw all on its own. No matter her reasons, he would find out her reasoning for coming with them to such a place unless she would find her own end here in this desolate place than he enjoy watching her die. Just by walking near such a woman, he could nearly smell her distaste for him by the aura she gave off that burned in the darkness, he was eagered to see what would happen to this aura, it was neither black or white.

Walking down the flight of stairs and down a corridor to a door, Seto followed in last behind the two women
who walked them selves into a rather large rectangular room. The ruins were old but still functional and it showed by the stone work although it was strange that there were six basic wooden doors, three on each side of the room with a collapsed tunnel down the middle, no doubt there was at one point the seventh doorway. Emotionless as he stood there listening there to the witches words than watching her actions as she attempted
to open two doors, only for them to turn to stone. He chuckled at her comment, she was using her eyes instead of her mind like she usually did then the woman who decided to accompany them decided on using brute force to find them the way which wouldn't work. That idea did come across his mind but he also knew that work in the way the two wanted, this was a ruin with its magical defenses still intact, to defeat such defenses, one must use magic or in his case the darkness. It was true he couldn't use it an offensive matter like that witch but he knew it was inside of him and he knew he could harness it indirectly.

Taking a leave of absence from the two, Seto walked to the center of the chamber and sat down, crossing his legs and arms he closed his eyes as he entered his meditation mode. Taking in a deep breath, he released it a moment later as he cleared his mind of all things in the room. Eliminating the woman and witch from his mind, he entered a Nirodha state of mind, seeing nothing but the blackness of his mind and his ebony soul. under his breath quietly, he began to chant.

"Tu mihi tenebras adtrahere hic ostendere cupio, ut, si de me ipso verum est verum in tenebris, et custodiat te creata est hic. Tu elegisti me quasi propria auctoritate extendere tam patieris et ignes et potestas circa terris quomodo vastaverint te penes mundum denuo renatus with..I ut nobis tuo rectos pugilum ope vestrae ditiones demonstrent sancto tuo verum est infernum. Ostende nobis viam iter est verum lumen inquirunt."

A few minutes passed in his mind as he chanted and then there was a flash of Tyrian flames, it snickered at him as if it had a mind of its own. Seto watched on as the purple flames roared around him having it's fun before gathering together as one to form one body once more in the form of a mystical looking skull. The skull laughed in enjoyment to the situation at hand, with his mind still in a trans from the meditation, his body began to light up Tyrian around his body as he stood and began walking towards the crumbled passageway, such purple energies seeped through his closed eyelids as well as his armor as if it was faint flames. Walking straight into the crumbled passageway, a faint portal appeared as he was about to stumble on the stones lying about. With no hesitation, his body walked through the portal, teleporting him to an empty corridor. Stepping on a stone, his body tripped and crashed landed onto the ground, waking Seto from his meditation. He looked around revealing some sort of corridor with the tunnel behind him caved in, he wondered if that was the room he was just in then he noticed the small portal that was beginning to close. He must have traveled past the rubble due to this portal, if the other two were fast enough, they could probably use it to travel here pass the rubble. Using his strength to stand up, he faced the other direction showing a long corridor hidden by blackness.

  31. [OOC: Vais... If you don't know why I'm calling you out on your last post. It's for your own good. If you do what you just did in a true DM thread. It would get you either killed or kicked. I don't see any magic in your masteries, nor did I say that the puzzle could be solved that way. So....]

Merkaba watched The Admiral go around the room with her club or whatever primitive weapon the woman used. That really gave away her mentality, she must be one of those Murder Death Kill types when in battle. Funny since the woman came off at least somewhat level headed. Whatever worked for her. The witch would never sucumb to such a fighting style so it was a good thing if the two ever met in battle as opposing forces. Seto had decided to sit and meditate. He was chanting some kind of magic.... heh honestly was he that desperate to learn that he practiced even now? That was admirable at least.

Merkaba spent this time solving the puzzle at hand. Phantom magic was in play here, so there must be a true path... or is the true path itself a illusion? Merkaba would move slowly as she watched The Admiral approach the seventh ruined door. Just as the warrior did, Merkaba would try to leave the way they had come in. The moment she did, the floor beneath all three of them vanished into thin air! Dropping them into a massive bottomless pit! The witch had originally suspected that the entrance would become the path forward but now she wondered if the going back triggered a death trap? The pit seemed endless but maybe this too was a trick?

"Focus! This places games are already becoming stale!"

The witch shouted a bit louder than she ever likely was heard speaking. She was fairly sure she was right here but if it relied on all of them disbelieving the illusion, then she would have to ensure they followed through....

Regardless they would suddenly stop falling after a few more moments. They never hit any ground or felt any impact. They just were once again standing with their feet on the old stone floor. Merkaba saw that they were still in the same room but now all of the doors except for the entrance and the one that was once covered in rubble remained. That door was now wide open and a long path continued beyond it. This place was built by a illusionist indeed... the question was then, was this worth it?

    "... That's enough of that."

Merkaba said dismissively as she passed by the two. She would not be deterred by these fake puzzles. If this was a battle of her understanding of reality so be it. Reality was something she was keenly aware of. The path the group would walk through would suddenly lose it's walls. Not just lose them but actually have them melt away into ether. The path was now a thin strip of stone just wide enough to walk on. All around was a black abyss. Or at least what seemed to be. Nothing here was proving real.

Eventually the abyssal path would vanish and the group was now in a large room with four gates. In each one was a different huge beast.

A massive Red Dragon with flames streaming from it's nostrils, barely able to fit in it's cell.

A deep blue Cyclops with a enormous spiked club.

A Lich surrounded by glowing floating skulls.

And last but not least, a... wait that one isn't a monster? It was a young man with a strange looking hat. A takuhatsugasa... very strange to see in this dimension. The man banged on the gate that was acting as a prison for him much like how the other monsters were gated into their own jails.

"Hey you! Yeah you guys, could you be great pals and help a fellow out? This place is crazy. Nothing makes sense! Release me, please come on!"

She ignored the man. The Dark Lady moved towards the center of the room and saw that each gate had a lever next to it. So....

    "Well now..."

  37. It appeared as though her attempt to drag the weapon across the walls and poke and prod them for any sorts of hidden openings was wasted, and earned a slightly critical look from Merkaba as the other woman watched the Admiral set about her task. She shrugged inwardly, not particularly caring to impress the witch; though it was ridiculous to frown at her like that when she was merely testing to see if the doors were illusions and there were corridors to bypass. The large unarmored man, who thus-far still had not given any indication as to what his name might be outside of Black Hand of the Death Star or whatever it had been, seemed more or less lost in prayer as he began to chant to himself in what sounded like Latin. She pointed at him with her rusty old warhammer while staring straight at Merkaba, and shook her head in a "hell fucking no" sort of way.

"He starts ub-chucking pea soup and I'm ub-bashing his skull in, friend of yours or no,"
she warned the witch as Seto continued to go all Exorcist upon them and chant to himself in a dead language. She could handle a lot, but dealing with a guy who carried a huge sword and played Beatles albums backwards in the middle of a creepy door-vanishing dungeon was not something she was ready to put up with. The witch, typical to her character, did not respond to the Admiral but instead dismissed her and turned around to walk out of the dungeon. Was she giving up so quickly? What a disappointment this was all turning out to-

And then the world vanished out from under her.

    ...

    ???

    !!!

It had taken a moment to process precisely the peril that presently perched, precariously, upon pauldron of practically pissing and petrified personage that was the Admiral. Despite the comfort such alliteration might normally have brought her, such thoughts were background concerns to the much more immediate and overwhelming shrieking that filled the entire abyss around them as she, flailing and clawing wildly at nothing, stared first up at the room that they had been dropped out of and then secondly into the eternal nothingness below. She was not calm. She was not collected. She was quite, in fact, upset. It had not taken her long to think up a very precise and effective way of demonstrating this, voicing her opinion aloud the very moment they had begun to fall.

    "!!!AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

...and continuing that thought, quite vocally and with great volume, even after they appeared to re-populate the room they had originally fallen out of. Screaming at the top of her lungs, sobbing, she took a full fifteen seconds to finally calm down by the time they'd returned to normal. Merkaba had used the time to investigate things and try and move forwards. The Admiral had taken the chance to, quite literally, wet herself as warmth traveled down her legs and onto the old stonework of the dungeon. Once any sort of thought process had returned to her she snapped immediately to Seto and, swinging with great accuracy she had built up in all her time in the game thus far, tried to clobber him in the head with both her mace and her hammer. A flurry of violent blows was set upon the man, immediate and vicious, while she continued to shout in horror and rage as Merkaba pressed forwards alone.

"WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK WERE YOU EVEN CHANTING YOU MONUMENTAL CUNT BASKET! WHO EVEN SPEAKS LATIN AND WHY WOULD YOU USE IT TO GET RID OF THE FUCKING FLOOR I HOPE YOU FUCKING DIE YOU MOTHER FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT!"

Having expressed her thoughts in a mature and controlled manner, she turned to see Merkaba walking down a hallway where walls peeled away into nothingness and an abyss hung below. That... was god damned horrifying to her. But scarier still was the fact that it still had platform to walk on, and she knew for a fact that this room had a floor that vanished. Ignoring whatever damage she'd done to Seto, and whatever retribution he might seek to lay upon her, she sprinted wildly after Merkaba, shouting at the witch's back.

"Oh don't fucking leave me like that! Your stupid Black Panther, Malcolm X-Files back there nearly killed us all!" She shouted, sprinting across the thin pathway and fighting the terror with nothing more than rage and bile. Skidding to a halt at the next platform, she noted the levers that housed a man and... several creatures. Only one thing registered in her mind: The cyclops had a very large club, and clubs were a thing she could use. It would be a stronger, better weapon, to kill Seto with. She pulled the lever that was beside the blue cyclops's cage and prepared to kill it, pissed pants and all, so that she could use its larger and much more painful looking weapon to get even with the Latin chanting lunatic.

  38. [OOC: Feel free to reply when you can Vais!]

The Dark Descender would mostly ignore the insane and actually highly amusing reaction of the The Admiral to their situation. This places phantasmic illusions were definitely breaking the woman. Interesting... it was worth at least a note for the future. Unfortunately the woman also made what the witch could only see as a mistake. Before Merkaba could make any good plan for this new scenario. The Admiral went ahead and pulled a lever. Really? Just going over and pulling the first lever that came to mind? In a place that has proven to be a illusory trap made manifest? Sigh.... yet again idiocy conquered any hope of proper navigation here. She readied herself for the consequences of this action. Whatever they may be....

The gate opened and The cyclops grunted dumbly as it took a massive step forward with a great blue leg. The moment it did however something changed again. It was no longer a ogre... but rather now it was the same man as was the person in the other prison shouting for help. That person turned into a ogre himself and began to bash on the gate with anger. Somehow these monsters were unable to break through, or perhaps they were all fake. How amusing that this place was a good metaphor for the fake gods. The man would raise his arms and shake his head to stop The Admiral from hitting him.

"W-wait a minute! Hold your horses there! I'm not a ogre it was a illusion. This place swapped my image with the blue guy and was trying to get you to free it. Whew.. but you didn't. Thanks I appreciate it. No clue how you figure it out though. But hey!"

He extended his hand and gave a perfectly white smile. His other hand removed his hat to the group.

"I am the one and only Wan Zu! A traveler! A treasure hunter! As well as a world famous monk! You may have heard of me and my many incredible adventures!"

The young man was already getting on the witch's nerves. She hoped he too was a illusion so she could just get rid of him but somehow she felt this was real. Maybe The Admiral or Seto would kill him anyway to save her what was likely to be something annoying. The man gestured around and scratched the back of his head.

"This place is pretty crazy though. I have a partner too but not sure where she is at. We got separated. Some of you guys look pretty shady but as far as I'm concerned anyone who helps someone else is a good person to hang with! So nice to meet you...?"

He made a look like he was expecting introductions.

  39. OOC: I thought I was kicked?

  40. He saw the wooden door in the distance, it probably held the secrets they wanted so no hesitations held back, he began walking down the dark corridor to the door until a bright glint of light took hold of him, forcing him to cover his eyes with his left arms. With this new glint of light engulfing his sight, he couldn't see a damm thing which prevented him from walking or doing just about anything the more he thought of it. Tripping over himself and hitting the floor, his eyes awoken to another room together. How the hell did he get here? his mind wondered than he noticed the other two women, wait how the hell was with them? Confused, he twisted his feet, performing an about face he looked around the room entirely taking everything in which......reveled he was in the same room he was in a minute ago. His mind became puzzled by this, did his meditation fail? Did the ruin builders of this place anticipated that a dark user would do that? it was so confusing then he saw the entry point in the middle of the room wasn't hidden by the cave in.

Now that very door was open showing the corridor he was just in a moment ago, now the witch was heading for it ignoring him and the other women. He taken some moments to himself to collect his thoughts when that barbaric woman began screaming at the tops of her lungs, snapping at him telling him she hoped he die soon, this humored him a bit since he had plans to be killed by a demon so he could walk the planes of oblivion in the future. By the way she was acting, he could obviously tell she didn't understand dark magic and how it worked so he wouldn't bother to try and explain his methods, she didn't even look like the type could understand the material even if she had wanted to, this pleased him greatly. And of course at the same time she swung her useless blade at him, he was a bit impressed by accurate her swings was towards him but she failed to understand the power of the darkness and what power it controlled.

Quick drawing his Iron Odachi out of his saya on his back, he took a close guard position, holding his blade horizontally as he side stepped ans rolled a few times, there wasn't any real way to deflect or parry such a weapon, especially with a sword.

"Don't be such a idiotic fool woman, IIt's not exactly hard to see I performed a ritual using the power of this ruins to find the true path of this place. If you do not understand the power of the darkness and it's dark magic than don't bother to question it. Don't worry though woman, I plan on dying alright but not something like you.....no instead I plan on falling to a greater deamon of Oblivion so that I may walk the waters of Oblivion in the future."

Seto laughed in enjoyment as he walked away from the woman in the room as he followed after the witch into the dark and decated corridor, eventually finding himself in a large chamber. This large chamber was huge as it held a massive red dragon, a blue cyclops and a Lick all in their different cages, this was a puzzling scene but it only became strange when he saw a man? wearing a monk like outfit and a straw hat that contiuned to bang on a gate before he spook to them "Hey you! Yeah you guys, could you be great pals and help a fellow out? This place is crazy. Nothing makes sense! Release me, please come on!"
The Witch simply ignored the man as she walked to the center of the chamber where a lever was. Seto was cought off guard when the woman, not the witch pulled a lever, wait was she that much of an idiot? just pulling down ANY lever you lay your eyes on? He knew she wasn't intelligent by any means but this, this was just common sense, she must of not had any for doing that. He sighed heavily as the gate to the cell holding the cyclops opened, letting the beast loose of them.

He shrugged his shoulders, there was no way in hell he was going to help an idiotic fool, this world or specfically him didn't needed such people around him. It was quite surpringly that the man from before transformed out of nowhere as he contiuned to bang on the gate to his cell. He had let off another laugh as the idiotic woman began hitting him, it was quite amusing to watch a brute hit another brute but it only became more amusing when the cyclops began shouting at her as it turned back into the woman, it must of been an illusion. When the brute stopped her relentless attack, the man extended his hand as he greeted the three strangers he knew nothing of and explained to them that he was some sort of shitty treasure hunter monk. He was full of shit, as if he would believe a word this idiotic man said, a treasure hunter that gets lost in ruins so easily? he was a failure if he was such a person but he was also a monk? double the bullshit he thought to himself, there wasn't any way he could be a Shinto Priestess and a treasure hunter at the same, the two lifestyles didn't mix at all and Seto knew it, he wouldn't believe this man for a moment. It also came to his head that perhaps the man itself was an illusion, that would be huge relief since he could this man would and could irritate him easily with his method of thinking. He felt tempted to kill this man just for his own sanity sake but for now he couldn't anything rational until he what little information this man had.

Releasing a huge gulp of air, he sheathed his Iron Odachi in it's saya and crossed his arms in boredom as the man spooke of his lost partner and how the ruins was a crazy mess, wasn't that every ruins in this blasted world? For someone who was suppodely a treasure hunter, he sure was stuipid, not being prepared for something he claimed to be an expert in. he stood silently for a moment as he looked at the red dragon before turning back at this monk before speaking.

"Explain yourself boy beacuse as far as am converned at the moment, your just another one of these damm illusions. A Shinto or Buddhist like priest and a treasure hunter lifestyle don't go well together at all so how about you tell us the truth why your here before I cut you down and feed your corpse to the red dragon over there and before you ask, I have no mortal name while in this form so don't ask."

  41. She stood prepared for a fight, for action, for some semblance of the norm that would allow her to understand what was happening around her. An eager smile stretched across her face, hiding the panicked worry of coping with Seto, who she blamed for the 'falling trick' in her paranoia over heights. That smile vanished immediately as the gate lifted and she stepped forward to fight the thing that had been inside... only to realize it was a man. Defeated, she fell to her hands and knees and rolled over onto her side, curling up into a ball and waiting for the world to go away again. She ignored the man, and all the little things he had to say about who he was and how he'd wound up in there. Closing her eyes and covering her ears, she began to sing softly to herself to try and calm down and get control again.

"Katie feels a snap and switches off the tap
Walks out to fetch the shotgun from the shed
Feels just a little rush and climbs into the car
    Slow down a moment

Switch on, all's fine, burn out, on fire
    Stitched tight, beautiful and light

Drives out along the lane and calmly into town
Stops to let the music come around
Walks down to the bank and draws a quiet breath
    Slow down a moment

Switch on, all's fine, burn out, on fire
    Stitched tight, beautiful and light

Lights a cigarette, climbs the marble stairs
And waves the gun around to paint a meaning
Money comes like rain, feel this easy feeling
She drives the car away and laughs and smiles
Stops to count the notes out for a while
And when she's done, drives on for a sunrise..."

As Seto spoke it became obvious he had survived unscathed and crossed to this side of the so fall minute dungeon, his harsh words aimed at the ponce encaged non player character snapping her out of her little coma of fear. Blinking her eyes cautiously open, she saw the corridor down which they'd come. The room that had lost its floor lay beyond it, and at its far end, the exit was visible once more. Wasting no time, she rolled up onto her feet and sprinted past Merkaba, past Seto, through the stone corridors and out into the safety of the world above.
