Running along the forest path his wolf leading the way to their target; he'd grin wide. Happy today was turning into a much more fruitful event. However, not all of it was sunshine and rainbows; he'd had a close encounter with a bear earlier in the morning and now was labored with some wounds that were still healing. None the less the duo continued to hunt down the beast they planned to claim. A simple quest set out by the villages in this area; despite the drastic changes to the now claimed Astorea, Morohtar had still found his home in the Adecus Forest. Being an elven character even after the big take over of the land leads to many complications; even more so from the humans now that these elven bastards as they might say were to lay claim to the soil in Falderen. However, to be entirely fair, he was already given shit prior. Now it just seemed to be generalized at all and not just himself. This did, however, bring about that player option to register as an elf once the time came. He'd most likely make the conversion so his story held more water and not only the NPC but PC considered him part elf. However, as the duo soon arrived at the last known hunting grounds of their target he'd rub his chin some his eyes scanning over the area. "Hmmm you sure this is it girl?" he'd inquire as the two searched around the area; putting his hunting skills to use he'd search out for some signs of life if not another trail. His hands finding prints, rotting carcasses and scat scattered about the area. However, this didn't mean that the animal was around anytime recent. It wasn't until he found the sudden shift in the pattern. "Wait, it's never left food...the carcass either means it left in a rush or it planned to come back. Given the degree of rotting, I'd assume the former, but that still doesn't explain where it went. The tracks leading her lead several ways out. So it's a matter of guessing the correct path unless..." he'd say scouting for additional tracks inwards helping to narrow down the logical explanation for the shift in a singular path outwards. "Alright, looks to be this way, come on girl. Lead the way" he'd point to the tracks as she began to sniff at them. Once more running off ahead he'd follow behind her. Excited that they were closing in on his target his attention to detail was far more specific than one might assume. His ears twitching as he heard not far off the breaking of branches. His body sliding as it slid along the ground and his bow was drawn he'd hide behind the tree. His wolf scouting out a bit ahead as they made their way towards the target; it wouldn't be long before he'd seen a lion cub, his face curling in confusion as he looked towards the beast, and thought what the fuck was a lion cub doing in the forest, it was entirely out of its natural environment, even by this games standards. But that mysterious cub wasn't the only thing out of its element as he soon noted a possible owner. Lips curling he'd make his way closer hiding behind trees as he did, trying to creep up behind her using his prowess in hunting and animal taming. His wolf rushing forth with a howl and growling at them. A dire wolf not uncommon in these part but still not found in the immediate area with ease. As his wolf had revealed itself, so would he. Yet if done correctly he'd appear behind her with his arrow drawn; a simple yet Pincer maneuver. "Halt, what brings you into this forest, it's sacred land and home to [YULAN] and hunters alike..." he'd say as he slowly moved in closer the two on either side of the others before them. "I'm Morohtar, Elven Prince of the Woodland Realm, an adventurer from far away. Now, my second question is where did you get that lion cub?" he'd ask with a smile pointing a the oddity as it seemed rather rare. His bow slowly lowering he'd shit his tone some hoping that his indications of a friendly target and not hostile one were a fair assessment of the felis since she wasn't human he'd hope there would be less racial issues."So who is this beautiful huntress before me? Perhaps I'm making the wrong assumptions, perhaps you're not a hunter and just a beast tamer?" he said questioning his own assumptions As he motioned his wolf to relax the creature would slowly shift its way past them to his side as she sat panting some. "So...are you passing by or hunting for something. I am on the hunt for some pretty valuable bird. One that the villagers seem to value most as they asked for me to hunt it. Some kind of turkey or something. Apparentl, it's part of some ritual this time of year." he'd say laughing. @Laiordi Felcrest Synopsis: Me and my wolf are on the hunt, Find a clue, take off to follow the beast; find you in the forest and engage. OOC: I'm sorry its a shitty starter but it will pick up.
"AaaaaaaW!" raising her slender arms the girl let outa howl of a yawn, waking the little lion that she had used as a pillow. Readjusting herself, she rubbed her left eye. Scanning her immediate surrounding area with her right. "I must have fell asleep in game..." she mumbled giving a glance to Loki, her loyal beast. Just as sleepy and currently lazed as her, he sat up slowly. Licking at the mangled hair on his side, where his owner's head had rested. Feline ears twitching back and forth as she formed an embarrassed expression. "Sorry bud, old habits die hard I guess." reaching out a tender hand she softly stroked the cat's head. Motioning for the cub to follow her lead, the lioness gazed down at her claimed grounds of rest. A minor pickup, unlike when she parties up with Mortemer. He had an obsession with the animals bones, as in not respecting them and tossing them all over the place. Lai'ordi had already buried her hunts, she really didn't know if the bones would be deleted by the game soon. Or if there was a whole ongoing life cycle that would allow them to remain and slowly decay. Bending over, the girl began picking up the singed and burnt sticks that had made up her fire. Still warm to the touch she tossed them in random directions, she really had no idea how to handle taking apart a fire pit. But at least this would be more natural than a circle and a hole in the ground. "Wha?" a canine's howling broke the peaceful silence between the girl and her beast, realizing how close the wolf was to her she abandoned any thoughts of summoning her spear. Instead a rising heat whirled around her as she called upon her magic, she could use her Pyromancy to fight. Frowning at the thought of using fire attacks in a heavily wooded forest disturbed her, she would only use it if she had to... Foregoing a counter attack Lai'ordi made no sudden moves, well...besides her lion like tail swaying back and forth. Deciding to reveal that she had no intentions of fighting by keeping her arms down at her waist she gazed at the beast with ruby eyes. A large wolf. Just one?. Arching a curious brow she glanced down to her cub, who was right on edge. Hair stood high and fangs bared. Soon enough Her ears perked up to the sound of creaking wood and a male voice. "Umm, a general attempt at surviving?" She replied with an annoyed scoff. Letting the heat of her magic disperse, the air around her returning to normal temperatures. Signaling for her lion cub to calm itself she slowly crossed her arms as the man rounded her. "So...let me get this straight. You hold me and my companion at arrow point, and the first thing you asks is why I'm here. Like...am I supposed to be elsewhere?. And secondly you ask where I get my friend?" She chastised him, a clear aura of frustration about her. "and now you compliment me..." she muttered, forcing herself not to roll her eyes. Listening to the man's explanation she nodded aggressively to each point he made, which none of them didn't excuse him threatening her. as this Mohotah or whatever guy finished his speech the girl sighed. "Okay, I'm taking it you're no longer hostile. In which case, bye Felicia." she grumbled the old meme one of her friends had sent her in real life, stomping away she slowed as she realized her feline ally wasn't at her side. Glancing over her shoulder she eyed the beast. An expression that could only summarized as 'puppy eyes' but on a cat, caused the girl to groan. "Loki!, I just woke up. I don't want to deal with something like this..." Making a mistake, she continued breaking under the cub's gaze. "Would you like some help with your hunt Mohican?" she asked under her breath, giving in to her beast's want for adventure.
Lips curling the male would look to the female, noting her change and sudden shift in emotion. "I do apologize. Please, forgive me. I am not a people person as you've seen. I fail the basic concept and motor skills common for you humans. I am after all an Elf. But excuses aside I'd love to get to properly know you and do still wish for the aid." he'd say as he looked down to her pet. A faint smile passing as he crouched lower a gazed into the beast's eyes his own animal apathy showing as his beast tamer skills appeared to trigger some how as he opened his inventory, "Just woke up huh....I can see it on both your faces, although one is far cuter than the other. I'll leave which I speak of, a mystery." he'd say with a warm chuckle as he says as he then opened his inventory and took out some meat; attempting to feed her beast. Attention shifting to her as she seemed angry; the bye Felicia then the whole native American joke. A faint smile passed his lips as if to question her words, "Mohican, what is this Mohican you speak of. By the moon and the sun, I have not a clue. I've walked many a land and spoke to several humans, but never have I heard such a term. I was once called leg less. But even that was a common misunderstanding. They confused me for another blonde elf who is sharp with a bow" he'd say breaking character in a way teasing. His focus shifting back to his desired aid as he'd elaborate more. "Yes I have this quest I need help with, Aid me and we can split the profits. So, this bird seems to have eluded me. It's really an ugly bird. But for some reason these humans so desire this turkey, they've also requested some other minor things here and there. Buf ultimately I need your aid in hunting down and catching these turkey. So tell me, where did you find such a marvelous tame. I found my Direwolf through the utmost unnatural meeting, in fact. Her parents were the reason I took her in. But enough about that..." he'd say as he scanned the area around him. "What's with that tail from out your backside. Are you...a furry. Someone once told me that was a nice name for your race, please forgive me if it's insulting or offensive. I'm not too well versed in cultural sensitivity outside the Yalderin Culture. " he'd say as he shifted his gaze elsewhere, "So rumor has it this turkey is somewhere in woods waiting to be stuffed with lead; so you ready to get this turkey hunting underway?" He'd ask as he and the wolf lead the way searching for the beast; using his hunting skills as he sniffed soil between his fingers. Yet as things seemed to clear up he'd try to search the grounds for the area for the tracks of the turkey. Calming her nerves with a couple of deep breaths the girl crossed her arms and relaxed her stance, deciding to accept what fate had brought her. "Well if we're going to work together I guess it'd might be nice to know what to call me." She offered a hint of her rebellious self in her tone. Holding out her hand she opened her menu, performing a few swift motions to send a friend request to the fellow blonde. Not bothering to see if he accepted it or not. Sliding her gaze across the Elf, Lai'ordi frowned in confusion. Was he one of those weird people?, what was it? Larpers?. No, it wasn't that...maybe just generic roleplayer?. Arching a brow she let out a soft "Hmph" in amusement, considering her own circumstances she could be considered a roleplayer. Just a bit more on the extreme side. At least he seemed more tolerable than the sweaty nerds she saw in real life, swinging foam sticks around and screaming like children. Thanks to the girl's wandering thoughts any signs of her still being hostile left as she cracked a smile. "I'm a bit on the wild side Elf, don't be surprised if you witness some...unsightly things~" she purred. Watching the man as he pulled out a treat for the small cub Lai'ordi motioned for the beast to accept the offering, it was kind gesture and one that she knew Loki would enjoy. "I misheard your name, I'm just going to call you Mo. it's simpler and amusing in one, so enjoy your new nickname.." She stated. Not wanting to further break his emersion. "Hmm?, oh. It was really a chance meeting. I used my beast taming magic to call for assistance and he answered, quite ironic really. I had used the same call I used for my Pride." not caring that she basically revealed who she was in real life. "Loki happened to answer and ever sine he's been glued to my side, not even leaving when I log out." she stated, her smirk softening to a tender smile as she looked to her friend. Emerald eyes gazing back, more curious as to why his master gave him such an expression while he gnawed on his snack. "So, nothing as glamorous as what you may have been through with your companion." she chuckled. Stretching out her arms and legs she took in all the information about their now shared quest. "So we're hunting a turkey?, anything special about it?, or is it just a normal turkey?" she asked a bit curious as to what to expect. "Also, I'd definitely Never, refer Felis as a Furry. You might end up getting more trouble than it's worth." She warned, not caring of the poor reference. She knew what she was, and it certainly was not one of those. "The tail?, I mostly think it's for looks. But others swear up and down it increases our kinds swiftness, whether that's true or not. I kind of forget it's there most of the time." she answered honestly a nervous expression about her as she laughed. Looking to the man as he sniffed the dirt she motioned for Loki to follow as she moved past the elf. "It's a bird Mo, unless there's something I don't know about this thing. They...Defecate, A lot." Providing her, blatant and obvious insight. The girl lifted her head, feline ears folding back as she activated her magic. Inhaling deeply she attempted to take in any recent foul odors, something she had used for tracking or staying away from animals in the wilds. Without magic that was, not as strong as her Felis nose was though. Picking up on a faint odor she casually pointed forward. "Lucky for us, it seems we may be on the right track."
