Due to the massive raid that had happened a week prior, Daren had learned over the course that the elves lacked several things in order to fend for themselves. The first and foremost thing was that they lacked food. Now, despite being an asshole to most people, Daren did like most NPCs, as such, he had taken their feelings into stride when a few of them asked him for food. Not actually having any, the young man began to ask some of the local players if they knew of any place to get some decent food. Only two players had responded to the help chat and said that there were some Tuskarrs in the Pormont fields. They had also warned him about potential fact that they could be out of season. This did not matter to Daren, he simply wished to help the elven NPCs.
Traveling from the location he was at to the Pormont plains took Daren a few game days, but to him, it was worth it. In fact, when he had arrived it had recently rained and as such, he could still smell the rain and see the dampened grass. This elicited a small smile from Daren that then turned into a light laugh. As he looked at the world clock on his overlay menu, Daren nodded and then spoke to himself. "I think I'll log out and get some sleep after this quest. I haven't actually logged out in almost five days." Having spoken that, Daren began walking forward, he could see a few low tiered players like himself also hunting for these animals. This made Daren smile as he watched a group of two take down two tuskarrs in a row. This meant that the creatures weren't as strong as the NPCs made them out to be. That was until he saw a player get hit and then trampled over by a stampede of three piglets and they're mother or father.
The four creatures had then turned their attention to that of the healer that stood before them. Sighing, Daren looked at his menu and then sent out an LFG alert before initiating light combat. The three piglets seemed easily distracted when he had tossed a stone behind them, but the big Tuskarr, not so much. Biting his lip, Daren sighed again and then spoke. "Oh come on...I didn't want to engage this bounty just yet you know. I wanted to watch others and see how they dealt with you..." Daren had then narrowly avoided the tusk blow from the 275 pound Tuskarr only to trip and fall backward. Seeing the animal raise its head and then moved toward biting his leg, Daren rolled toward the left and jumped up. It was at this moment that he finally decided to attack. Even if no one ended up helping him, he could at least attempt to take down the massive beast.
