Through combined struggles and efforts, all but a handful had survived the onslaught of the vicious spore storm. As it finally passed and broke away, clear skies and a clear path were left for everybody to dust themselves off and move on. The most grievously injured were afforded the necessary magic and balm to tend to their afflictions while those that were able bodied salvaged what could be taken from the carts that had been turned over. Thankfully it seemed as though the hardy elven goods had survived almost entirely intact; the greatest loss had been that of life and livestock. With everything secured, the exodus group began to move forwards towards the large forest that served as border to Astorea.
On either side massive trees and mushrooms loomed and leered, some of the woods quite literally watching everybody pass by as creatures of nature and magic inspected the large group curiously. The sheer number of bodies in the group kept even the most daring of predators at bay and so the journey was not periled for some time, allowing a much needed respite from danger. It was not until a fork in the road appeared that the formation stopped and the woods came alive again. From the left fork a deep thundering could be both heard and felt, a massive figure standing taller than the treetops a short distance away. Hefting a massive sword of stone up into its hands, the creature turned to look upon the group and let out a mighty bellow, its slow and deafening steps heading towards the group. Almost too large to support itself, it paced around the clearing that it occupied, waiting to fight any that came near.
As one of the standing elven casters let off a spell, a swarm of dancing lights flew out and began to hover beside the ear of each outsider and adventurer that had come to Yladia's aid. Through the pixie lights, his voice could be heard.
Enik the Eldest
Cough. "It seems that
[Mycollosus] has been growing uninhibited for quite some time! Their bodies are quite nutritious and tasty, and probably one of the few non-poisonous things in the area. If you brave adventurers would be dears and take that down for us, we could remove a threat to the area and restore our food supplies we lost! We'll just wait here while you take care of that and.. h-hold on. What? It seems I'm being ordered to tell you that we could always take the path to the right, and avoid that delicious monstrosity altogether."
grumblegrumblegrumble.
VOTE [Engage / Ignore]
As you decide upon which path to take, several Doom Shrooms appear from the woods nearby, blocking your path! Before you can continue, they must be dealt with.
Green [ 0 / 330] Blue [ 0 / 330] Red [ 0 / 330]
Deal with the Doom Shrooms which are blocking the path forwards, so that the exodus formation can make it to their new home in Astorea. Either the left or right fork in the road will take you to your new home, but the left fork will engage an optional Boss Fight. The right fork will avoid this conflict.
You are not locked into whichever group you choose to engage; you can switch to others.
Whenever you post: look at your die roll to subtract HP and EN. Use the last HP and EN you see from cycle 3.
- 80+ no damage / 2 EN
- 50-79 subtract: 5 HP / 3 EN
- 20-49 subtract: 7 HP / 4 EN
- 1-19 subtract: 10 HP / 5 EN
The start of the new cycle has refreshed all cooldown timers.
Roll at: (Roll) Yladian Exodus before posting. How to link rolls.
Modifiers: Highest Mastery: +5 per mastery tier excluding Beginner; +10 for expert.
You need to keep track of which group of Doom Shroom you are fighting. You can freely switch between them, but use the proper template to track which group you are engaging.
At the end of your post, you MUST include a vote to [Engage] or [Ignore] the giant boss you see in the distance. Majority decides at the start of next cycle.
New Posting Rule: There is no longer a 2 post a day maximum, you may roll every 4 hours and post within that window of time before your next roll. You are still limited to 1 character per OOC account.
You must pick a group to fight by using the appropriate template; only count up the same color as yours.
