Finally, the huge mushroom collapsed in defeat, and the numerous warriors who had been fighting it celebrated in their victory. Kasumi couldn't help but collapse in exhaustion, having fought far harder than she had been expecting to upon noticing that group of carts. Far harder than she ever had fought in this game... this world which she had so little experience with. It was draining and admittedly a little scary, but it was a valuable experience. She needed to know how to properly defend herself in this hostile place, and so far all she could really do was swing her spear aimlessly and hope it hit. But fighting wasn't the only thing she needed to know. As she'd soon found out, spending so much time in the game meant that she had to find some way to sustain herself. Just as everyone else did, which was why they had all head over to the corpse of that giant mushroom to begin breaking it down for its resources. Once she was rested enough, Kasumi joined in the harvesting of the fungus, using her spear to cut it into slices to store in her inventory. She'd have to experiment with cooking it some time - it was times like these she was thankful she'd taken the cooking skill, which had mostly been a bit of a joke to her while she was in character creation. After some consideration, the twintailed girl decided to seek out some of the familiar faces in the crowd. Some of the players who'd helped her in the fight, who she hoped to get on better terms with. She... didn't really want to continue being alone if she could help it, though she wasn't exactly adept at approaching anyone either.
