1. _____From the stories Morpheus had heard about Ironforge it was almost like Stonefell when he had arrived there two months ago. They had been tight on supplies and getting anything to them was proving harder with each passing day. He had nothing against the idea of going to help the townsfolk for that very reason as he triple checked his machine making sure every detail was accurate and nothing overlooked from the smallest decoration of the mounted crossbow turret.

_____He was attached to the head cart, a matching one of his inventions at the end of the five cart convoy manned by another builder. The set up for the trip was keeping the food and supply carts near the front, while the empty car was closer to the back since they could leave it and speed up if things got dangerous for the group. A decent few had come to help this time around, mostly relatives of people in Ironforge but every extra set of hands was going to help no doubt.

_____Morpheus moved his head back to his post, testing the movements of the weapon, how long it took him to turn it or raise it before locking it to avoid any dangerous recoil amounts. The machine was rigged with two heavy cord bolt strings, and the bolts themselves looked more designed to take down larger monsters then grass knolls. This was partly because his job was to make weapons to help defend the city from the monsters there, but worst case to be used to help reach them as supplies would help them more.

_____Morpheus quickly moved to grab the large metal bars to the back side of the weapon winding it up and recording the time before pulling the center bar the moment it clicked and moving the empty turret to the other side and repeating recording his times and getting an average time of forty seconds to switch sides, and fifteen to simply reload it. His prototype was seriously in need of some heavy revisions when he arrived at Ironforge, however for now this was what they had to work with.

_____A man wearing heavy armor approach morpheus and stepped back when the Felis spun the weapon towards him testing his fastest times. ”That looks fairly scary even without any details on the head piece. We will be departing once the ravens I sent to Ironforge return. I’d rather not make it through the grass lands only to have our convoy get monsters to our front side and the village unable to open up right away for us.” Morpheus nodded at the comment from the head of the convoy defense before spinning the weapon to face the front and locking it to do checks on the back side turret.

”Hopefully we can get a few more hands to help, from my records and the notes of others the larger the group the less likely the grass knolls can quickly respond to the invaders with the correct forces to overrun them. Not to mention I only made ten bolts for each turret so the fewer we have to use the better.”

_____The person manning the back weapon nodded as Morpheus began to explain how it worked and what needed to be done before the male could fire it to avoid breaking the weapon or causing his shot to go very far off course. It felt like Morpheus was playing the siege kingdom game all over again, his design loosely based from the game and his favored choice when it came to destroying walls or forcing a drawbridge down.

_____With everything on his end set up he returned back to the front weapon and watched the plains shifting slightly in numerous directions. The had a two cart length road and agreed to keep the carts in the center to give the best reaction time the group could get in such unfavorable field of battle. There would be entering likely right into combat, setting his first bolt onto the weapon and wrapping part of it in a soaked cloth, a oil barrel to his side and a fire starting kit at his side. Worst case he would ignite the bolts and burn the grasslands to give them more vision of the enemy.

2. @Morpheus @Solaria

"Calm down, Ellie, calm down, don't make yourself look stupid." Easier said than done however as Eldhi's (virtual) heart raced and probably her player's too as the white-haired knight made her way to the edge of Pormont. Maintaining her composure at the notion of beginning her first quest was harder than she thought, she couldn't stop clenching and unclenching her hands, a silly joyful grin on her tanned face, and lightly humming an epic song she heard in a chivalric medieval movie.

Moments later, the red-eyed knight arrived at the caravan she would be escorting. It was quite easy locating the convoy considering it had two giant... ballista-turret contraptions mounted on the front and rearmost of the linked carts. She wondered what kind of monsters they would face needing such a thing. Well, it was going to be exciting nonetheless! Protecting innocents, slaying wicked creatures, and looking mighty cool at it, what more could a knight want?

Approaching the group, Eldhi made her entrance, waving at the head guard in charge of the caravan's escort forces, "Hey! I'm Eldhi, I'll be joining the escort for this caravan's journey to Ironforge." She stood straight, right hand firmly placed on her breastplate, "No knolls, nor knaves shall escape from my blade, Sir!"

"You're one of those knightly types, eh?" The head guard chuckled, his much larger frame towering over the petite white-haired girl, looking down on her with a rather amused expression, "Let's hope your blade is as resolute as your boasts, little girl." He then gestured her to follow him, armor clanking, "This here is Morpheus, he's in charge of these... whatever you call these contraptions." He lightly shrugged his shoulders, "Anyways, we should be expecting one more, alright, stay sharp now." With that, the guard left the pair of male Felis and female Human to... converse(?)

---

"Ah..." Eldhi blinked, finding herself mesmerized by Morpheus' animal ears, they were quite adorable if she could say so herself, "Hi! I'm Eldhi." She grinned, offering him a handshake, "You made these things? Fas-... fassy... hmmm... fascinating, yes, what do they do besides shooting giant arrows?"

3. The turrets had caught her attention before anything else in the caravan- not the people involved, not the way they were laid out, nothing else at all. It was just the bizarre devices with a plethora of arrows ready to be shot without human (or any other race) hands helping nearly the way she'd been used to seeing.

While she was indeed curious of the contraptions and their maker, she soon noticed the voices of a felis and a young girl, one speaking of knighthood and being noticed for her type of justice. Were they the fellow takers of this supply run quest? It wouldn't hurt to ask- especially since the human girl was talking about grass knolls and the like.

"Ah, are you the fellows joining in helping get the supplies through the mountains?" Smiling a bit, she held a hand out to the two strangers, in hopes of making a peaceful introduction. "I'm Solaria. I'm proficient in healing and well trained in swordsmanship. I'll be working with you to protect the goods and good people of the caravan today. Let's do our best to help them get through this, for the sake of the good people of Ironforge!"

Looking back to the turrets, she finally lost her calm and pointed at them curiously. "Any idea what those are? They look dangerously helpful. And confusing to use."

4. ______Morpheus was not one who started talking right away or interacting with others. Right when he was about to start talking with one of the arrivals another showed up causing him to shut back down for a few more moments. Reaching each hand out to them as he blinked slightly and his ears twitched. ”Morpheus… They are prototype weapons to help Iron forge deal with the larger monsters in the mountains, I barely had time to finish these two let alone add any attachments or simplify their firing mechanics.” Moving his hands away as the raven swooped down to the head of the caravan and he spoke up.

”Form up, looks like we got some company already waiting for us so get ready to go in swinging or blocking the two main carts. If you see some supplies near the road and you are clear try to get them into the back cart, the more we can bring the better for the residents of Ironforge.”

_____And with that the whips cracked and the horses started to move dragging the convoy along with it. Morpheus moving to unlock his weapon and moved to aim it directly ahead before locking it back in place and getting out is two hammers ready to act as the last line of defense and rapid repair should any area of the convoy start taking damage. The man was not joking as everywhere around the road started to shift and grass knolls poured out few in numbers but still giving a two against one for the caravan.

_____The head knight was marching in front of the horses throwing knolls back or smashing down with his shields. The sides of the horses had some decent wood layering to avoid the knolls from getting the power to move the convoy out. Numerous areas would be taking pressure and as the grass shifted further from the road it seemed more enemies had been rushing to join the attack.

_____Most knolls where about two feet tall, scarcely armored with animal hide, but some knolls matched the size of humans with light to heavy armor and even fewer had weapons with a grasp of how to use them. Morpheus had at some point set his hammers down and was writing, not much help seemed to come from him. He had no combat skills, and much less wanting to use the large weapon due to the limited ammo he had. Some might be able to tell he was conserving his ammo, others viewing him as dead weight and Morpheus cared either way.

_____Arm moving up to catch a thrown spear aimed for the back side of the horses before spinning it to impale a jumping knoll at his side using just his ears to locate the target. Pushing the dead creature into the grass before he went back to writing in his book. Eyes did shift for a moment as he got up and rushed to break a spear out of the wheel in the third cart. ”I swear, monsters never appreciate good craftsmanship.” The Felis mumbled as he hopped back to the weapon and went back to writing.

_____A few moments would pass before the group would come across a fallen cart with some spare parts, Morpheus one of the few who broke from the group to start hauling them back to the empty cart. His luck getting pushed as a Knoll jumped out towards some of the non fighters and he rushed to bash them away with his hammer, his fur standing on edge as he was forced to fight with his building tools.

______Not many would be able to break to assist the scavenger team as more knolls started to emerge, some of the fighters freaking out as a thunderous cord snap sound cut across the area and the first large arrow went ripping across the area. Knoll’s in the path got ripped clean through and the air pressure behind the arrow ripping those near the weapon’s path. Morpheus both seemed to smile and frown, those bolts had been a bitch to make and now he was down one. But at least his prototype was in working order with minimal errors.

5. "Hmmm... I see! So they are giant crossbow-turrets!" Eldhi nodded for a moment with one hand holding her chin, however, her curious enthusiasm soon gave way to frigid realization as her red eyes widened nervously, "Wait... larger monsters?" Not so hasty now, she might be a crusader of justice but the girl knew she was but a newbie in the game. Facing off against a giant would no doubt end messy for her, very messy indeed, especially since she could feel pain in the virtual world.

"Uh... just for precautions right? We aren't actually going against giant monsters... right?" The swordswoman chuckled awkwardly, scratching one cheek with an index finger. Nevertheless, she would try her best and uh... not die if she could. Fortunately for her, her companions looked to be quite reliable, especially since Solaria would be here with her. Speaking of the devil, there she was, approaching her and the Felis.

"Heeeey, Solly!" Eldhi waved a gauntleted hand at the fellow swordswoman, "Fancy seeing you here." The shorter girl beamed happily, all of her anxiety from before seemingly vanished due to her presence, "It's me, Eldhi, we met in the marketplace sometime ago, you helped me get my sword!" With her around, everything should be a-okay! "Alright! I'm set!"

---

Thus, with the head guard's cue, the caravan began moving. Eldhi, along with the rest of the hired escorts, walked alongside the head knight. She tried her best not to get distracted by the wilderness around her, something she couldn't enjoy in real life due to skin's lack of melanin. A couple of times, she found her attention taken away by an interesting tree, a passing butterfly, or just the moving green grasses around them. Wait, moving?!

"I told you to stay sharp!" The head guard snarled, brandishing his sword and shield as the knolls launched their ambush, "Do your goddamn job!"

<----------->

<----------->

"A-ah! Right!" Eldhi's arms moved to grip her longsword's handle, strapped to her back. "U-ungh!" Trembling in excitement and thrill, she took much longer than it should for such a simple action and joined in the battle late. "Deep breaths, remember the tutorials, you can do this!" Inhaling, "Hyaaaaaah!" the white-haired knight screamed out a battle cry in an effort to boost her courage.

She came face-to-face with one of the little monsters, no more than two feet in height, scantily clad in rough leather, wielding a simple club. If it wasn't for its murderous look and disgusting teeth, it was quite adorable to be honest. However, Eldhi knew these were foul creatures who preyed on innocent people, they must be vanquished, "In Tyl's name! I shall smite you!" Oho~ quite cool if could say so herself.

What followed wasn't nowhere as impressive as Eldhi made awkward swings at the knoll, so much that the simple-minded creature repeatedly evaded her strikes, bashing her body with its stick. "Ow! That hurt! Gaaah!" Groaning in frustration, she finally managed a clean lucky strike, crushing the little bastard's skull with an overhead cleave. "Haaa... fuh..." She did it! One down... "Oh..." many more to go.

Shaking her head briskly, Eldhi curbed down her frustrations then jumped into the fray once more! "Yaaaaah!" As if on cue, Morpheus' contraption fired off with a deafening roar. Yes! They would triumph!

6. She'd charged in the moment the head guard ordered, but her ability to slash quickly wasn't enough to beat more than one knoll at a time. These beasts were oddly big! If this was a small creature, what were the monsters those turrets were for?!

She heard wincing and panting from within the caravan's brigade of fighters. With a swift hand movement, she took a pause to heal up some of the soldier's wounds, Eldhi's included.

"Don't forget, Eldhi. We may be swordsmen, but we're also able to heal. Try adding some magic to your sword. You can buff it with holy damage." Glaring at the beasts that continued at them, she did as she said and mused, "I doubt they're fond of the light. Let's make them see it! Morpheus, if I add some magic to the turrets, will they be able to get the further ones too?"

7. _____Morpheus was setting a bolt into his weapon while the other slammed his hammer against the frame to adjust some of the damage the recoil cost against the weapon. ”If it was not a rushed job it might be able to handle it for two shots, but currently one shot might break the framing and that is best case. I’d have to reinforce the framing or get some magic to keep the recoil down, or someone very strong to hold the weapon and absorb the recoil from the shot.” Morpheus pulled a nail from his belt and slammed it into the shaking wheel of the cart he was on.

“I’d also like to save some of these to show the people of Ironforge so it can help with reproducing them.”

_____The Felis reaching up to catch another spear ripping his glove a bit before slamming it into the cart’s floor to keep it for later to write about it. He wouldn't be able to fire the weapon for some time as he overlooked the cracks in the wood, it was what he got for rushing the job and not using iron or steel. His hammer clashing against a dent in the armor near the horses to reset it only to watch it reform.

_____Moving up to slam his weapon against the head of the Knoll before it fell and got run over by cart wheels allowing the Felis to fix the dent and keep it that way. The numbers of the foes kept growing and swarming the area, though Morpheus stuck his head up while ears twitched around. ”Take cover…” Taking his own advice he dover down under his bench, moments later arrows began to fall from the sky taking down targets. Moving his head back up to see a small group of archers and shield knights moving towards them from Ironforge.

_____The moved very much together as one unit, the archers moving to the empty cart and using it as a tower point unloading arrows, while the shield knights moved to help anyone gather supplies. It seemed luck favors them for now. Morpheus franticly trying to get his weapon working as he heard extremely faint thuds from the mountains ahead. ”I’m not paid enough to lose my prototypes…” Hammer slamming metal plates to the wood before tying them with some rope for added measure, something big was approach the battle.

8. "W-w-waaaah! Get off me!" Tossing yet another little knoll who clung to her back and started pounding on her head, Eldhi snarled as she brought down her sword to the grounded monster, stabbing its torso. "Ha..." As the battle raged on, she could feel her wounds catching up to her as her movements became sluggish, well, even more than she already was. The white-haired girl didn't know if this was how the warriors of old felt when wounded during a battle, however, judging by what she was enduring right now, she was more than happy to keep her knightly antics within a virtual game.

"Nnnkh!" Punting another knoll away, Eldhi stopped for a moment, catching her breath. That was when her Yladian comrade spoke out to her, "Uh...? Oh... ooooh!" By Tylenol! She felt so stupid, she actually forgot about possessing Illumancy. Hopefully, no one else noticed that... ha, she really ought to get herself straight. "Okay, Solly! Thanks!" She gave a thumbs up at the green-haired swordswoman.

While Solaria was busy healing the soldiers and Morpheus operating his weapons (and fending off pesky knolls), Eldhi decided to continue being the vanguard along with the guards. Taking a deep breath, she focused inwards, mind going over the few novice spells in her repertoire then thrusted her longsword up, "Divine Edge!" Casting the spell, the blade of her sword became enveloped in a faint golden aura, temporarily enhanced with holy damage.

"Yeah! Eat this, knolls!" Charing into the fray, powered by her confidence, Eldhi made a straight lunge to one of the taller man-sized knolls. "Haaaaah!!" Her blade struck at the creature's chest and it struck true. The Knoll, already wounded from the fight, was on its last legs and taking an enchanted blade to his chest was enough to finish him off as he fell to the ground, slain.

"Yeah!" Eldhi grinned proudly, "Ah...? Aww..." but a slight frown soon followed as her sword's glow dimmed, returning to its mundane state, her low mastery over the arcane didn't allow her buff to last. At least she still made use of it before it expired.

"Take cover..."

"Wha-...? Aaaaaaah!!" Eldhi noticed Morpheus' warning just barely in time for her to duck behind one of the carts as arrows rained down around the convoy, slaying quite a number of the remaining knolls. "Ha... fuh..." Whoever did that, the help was appreciated, however, couldn't they be at least be more considerate?! They could hit an ally there!

9. The raining arrows had to be blocked by her sword when they tried to hit her. Apparently, the accuracy of whatever shot them wasn't the most capable- but they were shot with great power, and as she looked behind her to see a knoll about to strike, she realized the precision was better than she gave credit for. She attempted to dodge arrows instead of deflecting, but her movement was only so quick. She got hit by one, luckily only barely grazed, but found the pain much more notable than she'd expected.

"Whoever is shooting these arrows...Has a really good eye, but not good warning." Wincing, she covered the light wound and took a deep breath, healing it before slashing at another knoll. Eldhi's nickname caught her attention, causing her to giggle as she fought. Solly? That was a new one, but she rather liked it.

As the fight drew on, a number of soldiers- like Eldhi- were getting worn down and injured by both friend and foe. She shoved her sword in its sheath for a moment, swift movements being made to cast a wide-range healing spell. Hopefully, she'd get to help the pain they felt, even if it wasn't her strongest power when it was spread.

"We're getting closer to the hive mind," She called, caution being blown into the wind as she rushed up front to slash another enemy. "They're going to be more numerous before they become thinned out, but I think we're getting near the end of them! Keep cover from arrows and let them deal with the remains!"

10. _____Solaria was both correct but also wrong, the numbers had grown but as the ground seemed to shake they all panicked and some began to scurry back into the grass. Morpheus was covering his ears with every thunderous shake of the ground trying to work in between each of the moments moving his weapon in the direction of the forest. The archers turning their focus to the forest also as each drew back numerous arrows and held their fire. Then the ground stopped moving, and a tree seemed to lift out from the rest before it was thrown at the convoy.

_____The horse master having to order the horses into the grass to avoid the tree as another seemed to rise from the forest and swept across the area to reveal a giant. It was not extremely large as it stood at fifteen feet and looked rather young, but it also looked very angry at all the noise the group had caused and began marching towards them again. Most of the knights had to focus on keep the knolls off the cart that still chose to fight this battle, others panicked and ran from the sight of the giant.

_____Morpheus was not doing well as he heard everything sharply, his hands now stuck at his ears unable to take them off without the sound crippling his ability to think. Falling backwards he tried to use his feet to fire the crossbow at the giant but could not get a good hook of his leg around the center lever. ”Note to self, change either the sting drawback, or the fucking fire lever!” His words shouted due to his trouble with sound and anger as he kept trying to hit the target.

_____The back turret unable to get a clear shot at the giant, the archers beginning to unload their arrows into the large enemy to attempt to slow him down. But as it resumed approach, the convoy rushed across grass invested with knolls, and the number of troops they had fell slowly it was starting to take a turn for downhill.

11. After the initial shower of arrows, the archers from Ironforge exercised more restraint in their aim, carefully targeting the knolls instead of their allies. Good, they should've done so in the first place, godsdamn it! Eldhi stood up from her cover, wincing, but she was still good to go. Then, a soothing feeling washed over the white-haired girl as Solaria worked her healing magic, mending wounds and lifting fatigue. "Thanks, Solly!" Though not completely rejuvenated, the morale boost from having a healer within their ranks. Too bad Eldhi couldn't help much, the best she could do was laying her hand on a wound and slowly heals it, something that couldn't be done in the middle of a battle.

"Yeah! We have them on the run!" The guard captain shouted, rallying the escort forces, the combination of Solaria's support, Morpheus' intimidating weapons, and Ironforge's reinforcements greatly helped the guards in line, nothing would break their resolve now!

...or at least, that's what he thought.

<----------->

<----------->

All eyes turned, widened and in shock, as a literal tree was flung into the convoy's general direction. The timber smashing the unfortunate few in its path. Who... what did this?! The terrifying truth reared its ugly head as a juvenile giant stood tall, towering over the group of guards and knolls alike. Though young, its sheer height was enough to instill fear, crumbling the resolve they had so painstakingly tried to maintain.

Most of the knolls deemed the fight wasn't worth their lives anymore and retreated, some of the guards had a change of heart as they ran with their proverbial tail between their legs. "Tch... cowards!" The head guard gritted his teeth, huffing in annoyance, he looked over to the real warriors who still honored their contracts, Lheo blessed their courage.

"Alright, you lot!" His voice boomed, "We will be keeping that thing busy while our Felis engineer here set up his aim!" He turned his attention to the silver-haired fellow, "Morpheus! Get ahold of yourself and listen!" He paused, starting at Felis right in his eyes, "We need you to take a good shot with your contraptions, take that thing down or we're all be seeing Synra, you hear me? Now get to work!"

---

What she feared most truly happened, Eldhi's breaths took hitches, her heart beating fast, fear gripping her form. "I... I..." Could she do this? What if she die? She didn't want to endure the pain... no-... no, it was too much... "I..."

Enough.

"Get ahold of yourself!" The knight mentally slapped herself, "Running away at the first sign of struggle and you call yourself a knight! Shame on you!" Her hands clenched upon the grip of her longsword, "What would Sir Gawain think? Do you seriously think you can be a Knight of the Round Table with this cowardice? Not in a million years!" Taking a deep breath, Eldhi narrowed her eyes in resolute bravery, "I have to do this, as a Defender of Justice and Righteousness, I must protect those who can't protect themselves!"

"Haaaaaaaaaaa!!" Charging her body with what limited Illumancy she could, Eldhi bolstered her endurance as she marched with the head guard and the rest towards the giant. "For Tyl!"

In the name of all that's good and holy, may Morpheus' aim be true...

12. The young swordsman's battle cry entertained Solaria. At least this time, the girl hadn't mistakenly jumped to a pain reliever when she said 'Tyl'. Her internal giggles left her momentarily distracted, enough for one of the enemies to get a hit on her. She cursed semi-audibly, trying to keep it under her breath. There were kids here, possibly! How could she be so crude?

"Don't let your guard down," She called to the rest of the caravan. "These things are feistier than they look."

With a grunt, she held her hand to her wound, finding the pain searing. Was there poison in their attacks? She took a fair amount of caution to heal herself without getting in the way of more arrows or fellow warriors, but found it shockingly difficult to move as she did so.

Concerned, she nearly screamed to her allies, "And keep an eye out for poison!" Glancing towards the others, she worried heavily for their safety. It looked like overall, Eldhi was doing a pretty good job. The Felis with them, too, was doing his best. Clearly, this was no time to worry about her pain, this meant. This was all out war- and they weren't going to lose this caravan!

13. _____Morpheus wanted to throw the leader of the group, clearly he did not know how well a Felis could hear and with all the sound going on and the volume they could hear it was far worse for him as he kept having to work with his feet, at some point kicking his boots off to try and get better grips on things as he moved the weapon based on the loud sound and tried to fire his weapon. The bolt managed to sink into the giant’s left arm for a few moments before it ripped through taking the arm crudely off.

_____Morpheus soon regretted this as the giant roared out in pain and caused Morpheus to start bleeding from his ears as he tried to cover them more from the sharp pitch amplified to only his race pick. Mumbling to himself as he reloaded his weapon and tried to keep his balance as the convoy kept on the move in the grass and would very so often hit a rock causing the entire group to bounce and make it take a bit longer to reload.

_____Thankfully he did get the bolt into place and took aim again, his ears ringing loudly as he shot the next bolt clean into the giant's chest and leaving a hole it the weapon wake. His turret also unlucky as the stand for his turret cracked from the recoil and fell on top of Morpheus, his arm getting slightly crushed under the heavy frame of his invention but the giant stumbled before crashing down.

”Next time a giant attacks us I’ll let you be the one with sharp hearing aiming something you did not have much time to fucking test you damn armor bumb!”

_____Morpheus Shouted as he tried to get himself free from the pin he was in. The knolls running away allowing the convoy to get back on the road and slowly resume it’s track to reaching Ironforge. Morpheus had a lot of changes to make to his weapon, and that was an understatement as he held his arm and looked over the two pieces of his turret.

14. "Hyaaaaaaah!!" Adrenaline pumped through her veins as the Knight charged with the rest of the group, those who were brave (or stupid) enough to face off a literal giant! The archers were peppering the humongous creature with arrows, barely effective against its thick hide but enough to get it annoyed. The guards gathered around the creature, shouting and hollering while Eldhi aimed the tip of her sword at its head, firing off tiny light bullets. Everything they did was all to accomplish one single purpose, give Morpheus more time!

Their efforts paid off in the form of a thunderous roar coming from the convoy's general direction followed by a giant bolt soaring through the air, violently ripping the giant's left arm. The creature roared in agony, blood spewing everywhere as the gigantic limb was carried away by the bolt, landing some distances away. The monster was positively enraged now, thrashing about in a mixture of pain and fury. However, it lost all sense of reason and was now a sitting duck, just perfect for...

**STAB!!**

Another ballista shot, straight through its chest this time, destroying everything within including its heart. With one final guttural growl, the creature fell forward, smashing onto the ground, spewing dust under its wake. Though its eyes remained wide open, it no longer moved, no longer breathed. The Goliath lay defeated.

"Ha... fuh..." Eldhi took in what just transpired, staring at the giant's unmoving form then to her comrades, then to the sky above. They... they triumphed!

"Victoryyyyyyyyy!!!" The head guard roared, "Oooooooooooooh!!" followed by the rest of the group, Eldhi included.

---

Meanwhile, one of the caravan's passengers peeked over to see their Felis engineer, looking over his broken weapon, clutching his arm, bleeding from his ears! "O-oh no!" The young woman gasped, someone needed to treat his wounds, and fast! Her frantic eyes found Solaria and she practically scampered to the green-haired Yladian, "H-hey you, you are a healer, right? Can you treat him, please?" She gestured to Morpheus. If the sight of someone with clutching their arm while blood dribbled from their ears didn't prompt immediate need for treatment, nothing would.

15. The cry for help caught her off guard, leaving her hit by something as she rushed to see what was wrong. A bit off kilter because of a strike to her leg, she was shocked to see the rather badly damaged felis.

Rushing in to heal him, she called for backup at one point or another when they were continually being attacked. Being protected wasn't a fun thing, especially not for the reckless elf, but there were more important matters. Even she had priorities. Why else was she going to nursing school?

"Okay, hold still. I don't know how well healing spells feel for you, but to me, they can still hurt like alcohol on the wounds."

Her healing felt like it took a while. Eventually, she heard that the enemies were taking leave or something- she just figured that was the case, since things were getting quieter outside the caravan. Smiling gently to the one she was trying to keep the health of up, she rubbed Morpheus's back.

"Better now? That looked pretty painful. And looks like our partner in crime's logged out...Looks like we're lucky she warned me in time. You were pretty bad for wear."
