Feeling smug, she watched eagerly to see just what @Astor Balthas will do with the buff. True the visibility was not best, so she followed the spears created from ice (another proof how much time he spent in the game, that was clearly not a beginner spell). Only, the spears missed. It felt painful, such good occasion foiled by lack of luck. Ilusa pretended to not look at him as he glanced around to see if anyone noticed his miss.

Not one to be discouraged he tried again.. With the same result. The Felis could almost hear the critical damage done to his ego. She could see it in his posture, in hollowness of his eyes that stared at her as if disbelieving. He walked back to her, slowly, clearly in shock and as he laid his forehead on her shoulder, she quickly wrapped her hand around him and held him.

Ilusa did not pat his back, but she held him, was an oasis of calm for him. At his murmur though, she frowned and pulled him closer. “Don’t you dare to give up because of that. So they had bit more luck, you still caused more damage with that attack before than they did with their combined attacks.” It did look like that to her, but she could be wrong as there were no wonderful numbers, only bar of the enemy health.

“If you will attack aga- oh damn.” Before she could say anything more, the enemy had changed the attack pattern. New enemies came to be, flaming and dangerous, if in a way also beautiful designed. The problem was however that the monster, the main boss was now incapable of being hurt, or so she gained from the dismayed shouts from people around whose hits failed to chip away at the health of the monster.

“..?” Then, suddenly she was tumbling down onto ground; hands pushed her away and for a moment there was incomprehension as she stared at Astor, who then was engulfed in fire. Then next moment she was rolling on the ground, trying to get up. Even rolling, she screamed his name. “Astor!!” It looked terrifying, a fire, not his own engulfing him, consuming him and for frantic moment she feared it killed him; but no.

There was his health bar, that was heavily depleted. It was down to one third. One third. A single attack did such huge damage. Getting up, she was shifting through the spell available to her; first should be dispel – but someone beat her to it.

Next was healing him. Someone helped. Two someone’s even; which was technically a good thing, but she was feeling bit put out being upstaged. She bit her lip to push that feeling away and started the single healing spell, when the woman made of fire attacked once again, this time someone else and yet, the wave of heat that spread through the place, interrupted her casting.

She felt as if the water evaporated from her body, lips dry, but she pushed past it, letting others attack the woman. She chanted, past the dry feeling in her throat, light floated between her hands and then seeped into Astor to heal him.

Eleanor's shaky perception of her surroundings became even more shifty and blurred, as fiery brutes had been spawned to do the inferno's bidding. The one nearest to her position, who had previously shouted insults towards the fiery beast, had darted off to battle one of these creatures, leaving Eleanor rather alone in her area. While it was uncomfortable to be so isolated, it did well to give her time to gather herself. Hopefully, the attention of the monster would not shift her way.

The summoned beings were soon dealt with, without much thanks to Eleanor, who had spent the time in her remote sector gathering her wits again. In moments like that, wracked with the discomfort of heat and the exhaustion of a taxing cooldown, that she wondered how exactly the game made it feel so real. But those were thoughts for a later, calmer time.

Rising to her feet, she had regathered her breath and focus. Still shaky in her stance, her legs did well to hold her up again. With a soft chuckle of masochistic disbelief, she sighed. "Gotta be kidding... At this rate, I'm gonna end up offing myself, before any big monster does." She grumbled, referring to the rather low level of proficiency she had with her arcanamancy. Still, it was the only tool she had in her arsenal to contribute to the conflict at hand.

"Alright, control..." With a hand out reached, the other bracing it at the wrist, she prepared to strike the creature again. With shaky breaths, she talked herself through it, counting quietly. "Three... Two... And--" Released from her hand, an arcane spark flickered from her finger, darting sporadically, before landing upon the giant inferno's form in an instant. A sharp spasm reached through Eleanor's fingers, causing her to bring back her hand and shake it off.

"Not bad... I think-- hope." She rubbed the back of her neck, the sweat on her forehead wetly fastening down her bangs. Closing her eyes, she took a few deep breaths. Good practice, this was!

Of course all of the confidence and ego that the usually shy girl could amass was soon interrupted, as she felt the ground shift and turn around her. This, mixed with the wave of dizziness that usually followed her attacks, left her in a rather confused state. Darting over, she quickly made her way to Area 2, hiding behind a spire to gather herself.

Seeing that they couldn't quite drop the creature in time, Lucia couldn't help sighing heavily. Despite her best efforts, the creature still made it. There was no use being distressed over it now though. Instead she brushed a hand through her hair glancing back to the knights who weren't let arranged gesturing towards them with a hand. "We're returning again to the first bridge. Let's move quickly." She urged the Tal'darim. Even if it was frustrating for the death knights to make and break formation repeatedly, the death knights would never complain, not to Lucia. A few low ghastly curse words would resound, but more so for the enemy that had fled back to it's master.

Charging back around, the bend to her familiar starting location, she swung her hand upwards once more needing to rely on the Wight's blade to strike the creature. It was the only powerful Chill based skill she had for now, it was because of that that she needed to use it to pressure the creature more. "Go!" She shouted with a swing of her hand once more beckoning to that chilling breeze that swept towards the larger lead boss this time. The breeze carried with it that same invisible unseen blade of frigid death energy to cleave into the large flame monster while her death knights got set up.

@Ilusa Nakhalee was Astor’s solace in this hellish place, even if he wanted to mope about missing his attack, there was no time for such. Just was he was leaning closer to his feline companion and take on more of her warmth, he could feel the hair at the back of his neck standing as a fire bolt came toward him. It was something he was incredibly sensitive to, considering his mastery over Pyromancy. Without thinking, he shoved Ilusa out of the way and took the bolt full on, screaming in pain as the flesh melting fire coated his skin, setting him ablaze. He was stunned and it took some effort and Hydromancy to put himself out, but by the time he was done, he agonized over the overwhelming pain from his charred skin.

“Goddammit!” he said to himself, disgruntled at being targeting by the voluptuous Fire Maiden, or should he said 'Volpus'tuous Fire Maiden.

Either way, he was quickly topped off given his importance as a King, though, it did bring up a possibility that he may have to retire as an adventurer at some point, since he was someone of incredibly importance and value now, it would be unwise for him to be in the heat of the action.

Standing up after he nursed the phantom pain on his forearm, Astor thanked @Temperance and @Alphabet Chocolate and Ilusa for the emergency heal.

As much as he wanted to attack some more, Astor decided to cast rain in his zone instead, figuring that it will be very helpful in the next 30 minutes as the fight escalate. Closing his eyes, he chanted, "Nora venta meteh deorea del sjorn ea"

Afterward, the zone he and his allies were in was subjected to a refreshing rain shower that replenish their thirst and should keep the burning condition to a minimum.

While everyone busied themselves with the assault on Azog, Astor dug up a hole away from the bridge and decided to hop into the flooding hole, enjoying the way the volcanic rocks heated up the water. If anyone laid eyes on him, he would make a shooing gesture as he watched the fight unfold, in his mini hot spring. He considered it a well-deserved rest.

The minions went down quickly enough. Not without doing a decent amount of damage, naturally, but before she could act, the other supports had already begun picking up her slack, heals engulfing those that had taken damage. Roland seemed to have taken the most from taunting the Maiden, though in no time his health was back to nigh its original amount before the battle had commenced, courtesy of a bob-haired support, one that she didn't think she'd ever saw before. Amane cast her an appraising glance; her healing spells were a lot stronger than anything she could cast herself, maybe even at Jack's level — either she was an experienced player that had somehow stayed under the radar, or...someone who managed to grind mastery points with incredible speed? As she hadn't seen the guy around recently, with skills like that she wouldn't be surprised if the blond haired girl turned out to be the strongest support in the whole game, as of now.

Well, she couldn't slack off then. Even though her plans for making a name for herself had mostly been placed on the backburner, allowing her to turn most of her attention to surviving her university course, that didn't mean that she was going to let herself fall behind entirely, especially in terms of stats and completed events. Missing what seemed like a boss fight? That was tantamount to failing in both. Not for the first time since arriving at the temple Amane cursed her inattentiveness and narrow focus. I mean, it's all well and good when I'm fighting solo or in a small party. She scowled. But now I have all my skills at the ready, and I can't even tell who to cast them on. It was impossible to tell who had already been given a buff; at least, the felis certainly didn't know how to.

Sighing, she clasped her hands together regardless, smiling wryly as she began chanting a single target damage buff, blinking the sweat out of her eyes. As she did so, she cast her gaze randomly across the vicinity, looking for someone — anyone — who looked like they dealt decent damage, and wouldn't particularly mind a buff coming their way. Better yet, someone who looked like they would know who to properly utilise it. Her eyes landed on a girl as she launched a mighty punch at the fire elemental, her lavender hair blowing back from the impact of her own hit. It didn't hurt that her gear wasn't bad at all, but what sealed Amane's decision was the girl's quiet confidence. She wasn't yelling as she fought, like a lot of the other players, but continued to deal damage at a steady rate, and not an insignificant amount, at that.

Finishing her spell, the sorceress hurled it at the girl, wincing as the light and heat generated from the Illumancy magic served to make the almost unbearable surroundings — littered with blazing flames as it were, and that wasn't even considering the fact that the boss was essentially one large fireball on its own — worse still. With that done, she backed away and ducked behind one of the nearby spires, taking refuge for the meantime.

His health was almost back to what it had been at the beginning and she let out a relieved breath. It really was astonishing, seeing how burned skin was healed, mended, leaving only few reddish splashes on his skin instead of the charred thing it was at first. As Astor was no longer in dire need of healing, she looked around for @Roland Rutledge who had taunted the maiden to attack him instead to follow again with an attack on @Astor Balthas.

She found him, he had been healed, but his health was still not what it could be and the tank had showed that she, they, needed him alive.

But as she was pondering that, Astor cast a spell that.. created rain and a small relieved sigh escaped her. Her skin that had felt dry, was soothed and she even looked up to get the precious droplets onto her face and lips, where she licked them and swallowed them. Her fur and clothes were getting wet, but the heat from the spirit also was turning a lot of this water into steam, evaporating it. It also doused down the burning, the flickering flames she had seen on the brave tank.

Ilusa glanced at Astor even as she targeted Roland and was murmuring the spell. Light seeped from her hands, they coiled into wisps. But she was too late, someone else healed him well enough, so she aborted the spell and changed it. A buff then, to one of the damage dealers. She targeted @Kyupin Felnya, tapped the icon and the buff was cast automatically, light moving to embrace the girl.

When she finished and looked around, for a moment she could no longer see the familiar blonde hair. Her ears stood up her tail swayed in dismay until she used the gamer interference and found him in-

“...Hm?” In a mini hot spring that the rain created in one of the places? Ilusa rubbed her eyes, but no, the situation did not change. Seeing other players flinging attacks and spells at the demon, she inched away from the main line, getting closer to Astor. As a healer, she had to heal, but right now everyone in their area had high health.

Standing before Astor, she nodded and then-

    Hopped in.

The mini hot spring was rather small, yes, but it was large enough for two people. She seated herself on his lap and splashed some of the water on her face. Then, she snuggled bit closer to him, watching the other players and the situation. After moment of that, she then continued an earlier topic.. After thanking him.

“Thanks for being my hero.” One of her hands drifted under the water and patted his knee in thanks. To be honest, the mini hot spring did feel nice. Still watching for possible person to heal, she leaned her head back, close to him and murmured. “Now then, what was about that deal? You can PM me if you don’t want to talk.” It probably looked ridiculous, them being in a hot spring, but as healer, she did not have to be so close to those she could heal.

Following forward with her momentum, only briefly pausing in her movement to catch her breath behind one of the spires reaching up in her vicinity, Eleanor continued on towards Zone 1. Staring to her left, she glared up towards the giant inferno, still surrounded with battling heroes.

Suddenly, it was as if the ground beneath her became uneasy, shifting and turning. It was just as she had fled from the previous area for, as the ground began to snap and shatter. "Ehhh?!" Stepping back carefully, she retreated towards her previous location near the spires. Looking to both sides, she rested her hands on her hips. It seemed there was nowhere to run, as both sides were crumbling. The only way she could face was towards the massive fire monstrosity in front of her.

"Well..." Reaching a hand up to take off her hat to fan herself with, Eleanor peeked out behind one of the spires to observe the conflict. "Shit." At least from her current positioning, there wasn't much that she could do. Idly, she hid, trying to stay out of the creature's view, hoping her previous attacks hadn't attracted it's attention.

It seemed that Eleanor was the only one to find herself in the isolated predicament, no doubt due to how she had positioned herself previously. She cursed herself for this, though there wasn't much she could do about it at that point.

He breath somewhat heavy now despite having taken a rest for a few minutes, at least the heat died down somewhat when the King used a spell to rain, it really helped alot for him, it helped him concentrate once he got off his ass. Everyone from before was still here from Astor, Alia, that girl with the King healing him, there was also also a few other females and males in their area. From what he could see, they were either aiding by using their support abilities or were attacking the beast like himself which reminded him to rejoin the fight. Sheathing his Odachi into it's Saya, he wouldn't need it for this attack, instead he was going to use a weaker varient of his most powerful attack. He closed his eyes and brought his hands together behind him. With that he collected the energy he needed into hands, this time all the energy he took began taking the form a purple ball in the palm of his hands. He contiuned to gather up energy, he combined his Malefimancy and Arcanamancy abilities into one, creating the attack he would unleash next. After a few minutes of storing so much energy into his hands, he hand began to shake so widely he knew he wouldn't be able to contain it any longer so without hesitation, he brought his hand around to his front and unleashed it

    Aybss Gun!
He yelled out as he released a deadly ray of purple energy at the beast. The energy wave soared through the sky and straight into the beast's chest, crashing into it head on. He muttered to himself as he fell back on his legs "Damm how much damage can this thing take?"

She just smiled at Seto when he spoke to her. Giving him a nod but she was more focused on what was going on and when the opprotunity came up to hit Azog again she was going to do just that. She took a moment to stand behind Seto while he shot off his two attacks. It didn't look like all there attacks were doing much but she geared up to do exactly what it was she needed to do. A deep breath and she was into the fray once again. She didn't want to see anyone die here but a sinking suspicion seemed to be sneaking up into her but she would do her best to make sure that they didn't lose too man that was all she could think about doing right now. Is protecting as many as she could with her ability to attack. The other options to her was not something she could use right now she could see anything that would help with the last of her abilities in this game.

    She moved in to attack.

Well it got extremely hot and he was in part happy about it but then on the other hand there was that fact that fighting what he usually employed was not fun. He took a breath smiled at the one that had given them all water and then moved back to get ready to take a shot at the big guy. He rounded in a way so that he was just at the right distance to get something off. A deep breath and arming himself once again to make the attack. He was sure that staying here for too long was going to kill him but at the moment he wasn't really sure that it bothered her that much. He took another breath and watched for a moment until they could attack the big guy and when that came he let his bolt fly and waited to see what it would do because it did not look like they were doing much damage to the big guy and that pissed him off even more then having minions to fight off and hurt them did.

What the hell was she doing here? Elysian had just started the game and what was her first decision? To be an idiot and take on a super hard boss. Sure there were strong players to help her out but she felt like she wouldn't be much help. That wasn't going to stop her though and the small cat-girl bounded her way into the zone and over one of the bridges above the boss. Her spectral pixie, Luna, was tickling at the base of her neck and Ely swatted at the little thing in annoyance. "Stop I need to concentrate!" She growled as she strung her bow and aimed a shot at Azog. Cmon don't screw this up....

She released the arrow at just the moment that Luna tugged at her hair. That split moment of distraction caused her shot to shift and instead of a direct shot she missed completely. Well shit, "Thanks alot...really," she hissed and facepalmed herself. Elysian wouldn't be surprised if they kicked her from this fight for being so bad.

Having gotten the message of the boss battle late, Solaria rushed up a long spire near the volcanic masses. She wasn't sure just how much she'd missed, but she was certain of one thing and one thing only: she had to help! She had friends in this fight, and strangers alike- and all of them were going to be in danger without her, wouldn't they? Her martyr complex in full force, she made it to the top of a spire, panting, seeing only one person there.

"Elly!" She chimed, smiling cheerfully. "I'll help from here too. It's gonna take a lot of work." With a curious glance, she took a careful look at the situation around her.

Seeing the king, Astor, looked at least a little injured on an area in a diagonal from her, she opted to send a healing spell his way. She'd met him once- during some sort of fundraiser for the sake of Astorea. She didn't know much about him, but she had to help the wounded! Then, she could beat up this beast for hurting people in the first place!

"My liege, I send you my regards," She mused, her healing spell somehow managing to reach. "I hope King Astor will feel refreshed from this..."

Aporia had been late to the party, having received the summons, rather than accepting immediately, she instead went to gather the necessary supplies to survive whatever n'th circle of hell she was going to be dragged down into. While she couldn't fight herself, she gathered that she could at the very least function as a water girl, which she figured, would just maybe, greatly decrease her chances of having her face literally melted off.

"But water's just pain borin..." So rather than being on time with what was requested she decided to arrive fashionably late with something a little more unique and unrequested---- pickle juice. Hoifting twin satchels full of glass jars of the stuff she clicked the summon and...

"Christ Jesus..." There was fire everywhere. It was just like California.

    "Boossssss....Are you alive? Bossssss..."

Wandering the zone that was like a combination of Spawn and Platoon, she crawled on her belly as strangers ran around shouting, shooting, swinging, and catching fire. Then there was rain. Just when she was feeling guilty for being late she found @Astor Balthas more or less breathing. "Heya Boss, still kickin~? Hehe~ Ya look like hell. Drink up, it's not whiskey, but it's good for ya..." Handing Astor a glass bottle of cooled pickle juice she issued a zone-wide shout as she continued moving prone on her belly:

    ****

"Hay, hay everyone~! if you're feeling thirsty come grab a drink before ya pass out. I'd come to you but I might very well piss myself if I leave this position, ya maniacs. I'll be crawling around so give me a wave if ya need anything. Keep an eye out for the ol' blue halo, hard to miss in all this red, right?!"

Setting her cosmetic Halo to shine blue light, she double checked that her beginner's stealth was activated and took cover behind a rock praying it wouldn't become slag within the next minute. Shaking her head at Astor, she shrugged and sighed.

_____Alice wound not be able to do much for the other group just yet, even if she ran top speed she would not be able to cast any spells to help Lucia and her group. Turning back towards the group she was already near before opening her UI once more and taking a deep breath. Energy draining a bit more as faint thorns grew over some of the group’s weapons and spells to increase their damage by a small bit each. Getting some air in her lungs after such she went on to moving towards the next group on her list.

_____Her frame scaling up the rigid volcano edges into zone seven leading her to what looked like a girl in a robot. ”Um… do you need any help?” Alice chimed faintly towards @Ursa from nearby with a skittish expression on her face. Doing what she can to quickly help the girl before waving farewell and starting her decent down the other side of the zone towards zone four. Elysian was pissed and there was no missing that. She knew being a newcomer meant that she wouldn't be that strong, but missing her shot entirely was embarrassing. She needed to do some damage or all of this was pointless. The heat was already getting to her, and that made her mood even more sour. Why couldn't it have been a wind or water boss? Okay maybe not water...but anything but fire. The faster they defeated this monstrosity the sooner she could leave though right? Heated by her annoyance and the literal temperature she decided to be a bit reckless. What was life without a bit of risk right?

Her white cat ears twitched with determination as she readied another arrow and aimed. She noticed her arrow glow for only a second and she wasn't sure who had buffed her but she was thankful. Before Luna could distract her she let the projectile loose and instantly shot another arrow in succession. Both of the arrows hit dead on, and even though it wasn't much she hoped it helped.
